Ned Lamont Executive Order 7III and The United States Constitution

 I wonder if Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party have ever read the United States Constitution?  It is an interesting document that might be worth their reading in between their profiteering from the Covid-19 virus here in our state.  For example: Article 1 Section 8 does not seem to have been read with Ned Lamont's Executive Order #7III in particular this section: "NOW, THEREFORE, I, NED LAMONT,Governor of the State of Connecticut, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the State of Connecticut, do hereby ORDER AND DIRECT:1.Repeal of Advisory Self-Quarantine.Executive Order No. 7BBB, Section 1 is repealed.2.Mandatory Self-Quarantine for Travelers from States with High COVID-19 Levels.Effective at 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, Section 19a-131a of the Connecticut General Statutes is hereby modified to add a new subsection as follows:(g) (1) For purposes of this subsection, an “Affected State” means a state with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents, or higher than a 10% test positivity rate over a seven-day rolling average; and an “Affected Traveler” means a person who has spent twenty-four hours or longer in an Affected State within fourteen days prior to arriving in Connecticut, but does not include an individual remaining in Connecticut for less than twenty-four hours. (2) All Affected Travelers shall self-quarantine for a period of fourteen days from the time of last contact with such Affected State, for any portion of such fourteen day period they spend in Connecticut, or for the duration of such Affected Travelers’ stay in Connecticut, whichever is shorter."  

Article 1 Section 8 from the United States Constitution: "The Congress shall have the power to regulate commerce with foreign Nations and among the several States and with the the Indian tribes."  In stating this in real terms, if states interfere with business travelers it is a direct violation of the United States Constitution.  I and many others also feel that the United States Constitution supersedes Ned Lamont's Executive Orders.  Also where in our State Constitution does it give the right to the Department of Public Health being able to fine travelers $1000 if they do not report their location to the state?  Why are their travel forms and who actually reads them?  How is this legal?  How does this stop Covid-19 when we have few if any cases in the state now?  Why would anyone want to either travel to do business in our state and or visit family or friends on a vacation in the state?  Does this action and Executive Order further compound the economic crisis that is happening in Connecticut today?  One may assume so.

In theory September 9th is the last day of Ned Lamont's economically irrational Executive Orders that have done little than to destroy Connecticut's economy.  There is no need to renew this Executive Order action.  It is time for our non-functional General Assembly to meet again and become part of our government again.  There is also no need to live in constant fear of Covid-19 as there are few if any cases of it in the state.  There is no need either for an illegal travel ban to be enforced illegally either by the Department of Public Health.  It is time to make our state economy function again for everyone not just Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and State employees who received their raises on July 1, 2020.  It is time to make Connecticut a "Free" state again not a "Socialistic" state led by the feeble Connecticut Democrat Party.  Enough is enough.

Weston Ulbrich For State Representative 85th District

The 85th State District in Connecticut represents a large portion of Wallingford.  Wallingford is a well run community that is led by a Republican Mayor and a Republican led Town Council.  Sadly the 85th District is represented by a tax and spend liberal Democrat who was first elected in 1980.  Democrat Mary Mushinsky has been in office for 40 years now.  She voted for the state income tax and every increase in state taxes in the state since that time.  She has been a proponent of every liberal piece of legislation that has been brought forth in Hartford since that time including the poorly written Police Accountability bill.  She has overseen the destruction of Connecticut's economy over the past 40 years and yet still manages to somehow get reelected term after term.  I wonder why?  Wallingford is a fiscally conservative community-why do we want a tax and spend liberal to represent us?  I know she does not represent my family here with these economically and socially irrational views.

Weston Ulbrich is the Republican candidate who is running against her this election.  I recently talked with him on several issues and was impressed with his knowledge of issues and his passion for Wallingford.  He stated from his website: "The past four decades of one-party rule at the State Assembly has weakened Connecticut’s economy. Residents have witnessed rising costs and high tax rates for far too long. Short-sighted decisions and big government policies made by career politicians have forced business and the next generation of talent to relocate. Connecticut’s reputation as a tough place to do business is getting worse, not better. Unemployment caused by COVID-19 will exacerbate our existing fiscal woes. I am determined to help reverse these negative trends by creating a more affordable Connecticut, especially for working families and small businesses."   I have wondered if Representative Mushinsky really understands that Connecticut has been in a perpetual economic decline since her state income tax was passed in 1991?  Connecticut in the past 30 years has been first in the country to enter a recession and one of the last states to come out of it.  Connecticut continues to rank in the top five highest taxes states in the country.  Connecticut has a massive unemployment rate and has had excessive unemployment since the 1990's.  Connecticut has a poor business climate.  Connecticut continues to see its young people move out of state.

He further stated: "If elected, I will be accountable and take responsibility during a crisis like the pandemic we face today. In times of adversity, I will seek solutions, develop trust and build stronger relationships. I promise to listen to the “People” of Wallingford and to decide our future together, rather than leaving hard choices up to the same select group of politicians. Connecticut needs a new generation of legislators who represents action and resolve. If you want a balanced candidate and a more affordable Connecticut, then please consider me for State Representative and elect Ulbrich for Wallingford."  

You can find information on him on his website (https://www.ulbrich2020.com/weston).  If you live in Wallingford's 85th District I urge you to replace Democrat Mary Mushinsky and her failed policies and elect Republican Weston Ulbrich instead.  We have had too many years of failed Democrat policies that have brought Connecticut to the brink of economic ruin.  Enough is enough.

Connecticut's November Election and The Oath Of State Office

 There is an election in Connecticut on November 3, 2020.  In Connecticut legal and in some cases dead voters will be choosing an elected General Assembly that consists of a State Senate and State House of Representatives.  These individuals who are elected have an obligation through their oath of office to represent the people who elected them.  This is their oath: "You do solemnly swear (or affirm, as the case may be) that you will support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the state of Connecticut, so long as you continue a citizen thereof; and that you will faithfully discharge, according to law, the duties of the office of .... to the best of your abilities; so help you God." (Connecticut State Statues, Chapter 4 Sec. 1-25)

During the never ending Covid-19 crisis I have questioned how the constant Ned Lamont Executive Orders and total dismantling of the state's economy, personal freedoms and unchecked no bid no contract-unlimited state spending that was allowed to happen.  Referring back to this oath of office, "the duties of the office of". seem to have been stretched beyond any comprehension to its limits and or it basis during a supposed crisis.  I still wonder why Connecticut was initially so unprepared for a health/disease crisis and why now with less than 1/10000% of cases of Covid-19 ocurring based on its population that our economy can not resume and start operating at full capacity again?  I also have questioned where our elected state General Assembly has been during this time frame?  Their silence to these constant Ned Lamont Executive Orders and total dismantling of the state's economy, personal freedoms and unchecked no bid no contract-unlimited state spending was deafening.  No questions and no answers to still when we can get back to normal.  Nor do I buy the liberal argument that this is the new normal either.

While all this is going on there is still an election that will take place on November 3rd.  This election features the desire by the Connecticut Democrat Party along with the Boston Consulting Group to vote by mail and or preferably use the new drop off ballot boxes paid for by Connecticut Taxpayers.  Do not vote in person since you must fear getting Covid-19 somehow at the polling place.  How this is possible is beyond me and defies medical logic.  The Secretary of State Denise Merrill now wants the Registrar of Voters in each Connecticut city and town to mail out these ballots rather than who the state hired to do so.  During the state primary on August 11th, these ballots were in some cases missing, not mailed out, sent to the wrong towns, etc.  Secretary of State Denise Merrill deemed the primary a success.  In private industry she would have been fired for all these debacles.  The basic right to vote was stripped for many people in the primary.  I can only imagine what will happen in the November election.  Did Secretary of State Denise Merrill fulfill "the duties of the office of" according to her oath?  No she did not.

There should be some respect for the oath of office that Connecticut's elected officials must take when they get elected.  There also should be some respect for Connecticut's Constitution and not a constant illegal reworking of it on a daily basis to suffice some consulting company, lobbyist and or political liberal agenda.  Connecticut's legal voters need to remember that this is the platform and record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running on in November.  It has to stop.  Enough is enough.

People With Disabilities Lives Matter-But Not In Connecticut

 I would love to see signs in front of homes that state: "People With Disabilities Lives Matter".  I know I won't because those people who have disabilities in our state along with our elderly population especially in nursing homes have been long forgotten about during our never ending supposed Covid-19 crisis.

I will use myself as an example of trying to deal with our never ending supposed Covid-19 crisis as a person with a disability.  I have a 90% loss of hearing in my left ear along with a 55% loss of hearing in my right ear plus I have tinnitus which is a constant ringing in my ears or as I refer to it as hearing peepers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  I wear two hearing aids that offer some help in hearing but little for the tinnitus. I also read lips to try to follow what people were saying and also read my students lips when I taught in the classroom for many years at Gateway Community College and other local colleges.  Therefore I can "hear" with the help of my eyes in reading other peoples lips.   I believe I overcame my disability through the years (I have been wearing hearing aids for roughly 40 plus years now and have taught for 38 years). With the mandate for everyone to wear masks I basically no longer hear what people are saying to me with their masks on at grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc.  I hear a bunch of garbled sounds except when the person who is speaking through a mask is loud and I can make out some of what they say.  Most people are deathly afraid to pull down their masks so you can hear them.  They have been programmed this way for fear of?  Thus my wife must tell me what a waiter or waitress tells us if we are in a restaurant as again in most cases I can not hear what they are saying.  Apparently myself and many other hearing impaired people must not hear anything any more to fight the never ending supposed Covid-19 crisis.  Our hearing is not important to our elected officials while protests such as we have seen over the past few weeks can take place in Connecticut with no issues so long as they fit their liberal agenda.  I can only imagine the issues that people who have eye blindness are going through at this time.  I can only imagine those people who have special needs and have lost their jobs at work groups and homes.  Where is their help?

Why are family members not allowed to see their loved ones in nursing homes and or rehabilitation centers in Connecticut?  I wonder why human interaction for those most in need has been eliminated when there are virtually no cases of Covid-19 in our never ending supposed Covid-19 crisis at this time?  To me people who are in these nursing homes and or rehabilitation centers in Connecticut have become prisoners in their locations while the state has let go real prisoners from the state prisons during this crisis.  Why are they being treated so badly?  Why are the elderly being treated as prisoners? We saw the complete ineptness of our State Public Health Department when there was mass deaths in the state's nursing homes at the peak of the crisis.  The state forced these people to die alone without their family members by their side.  I am sickened every time I think about those elderly men and women and not one person in our state government holds any responsibility for this debacle.  Yet they got their pay raises on July 1.  Where is the outcry in our state?  Where is our non functioning elected state legislature to investigate this?

People With Disabilities Lives Matter but not in Connecticut.  Connecticut's liberal agenda has written off people who have disabilities and who are elderly.  We obviously do not fit their "perfect" society of a superior race.  People with disabilities should be treated with respect and care.  They are valuable to our society.  They are the people that protests in the streets should be rallying for.  Enough is enough.

Welcome To Connecticut The Third World State-Part 3

Now that most of the power in Connecticut has been restored the blame game is in full swing here in our Third World State.  We now see our elected officials who have received a great deal of money in campaign contributions from Eversource Energy condemn them now for their response to the power outages due to the Tropical Storm.  We now see how ineffective and inept Connecticut's Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) is during a crisis.  It kinds of reminds me how ineffective and inept Connecticut's Department of Public Health is during the Covid-19 crisis.  In this case Connecticut's Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) is a vast governmental bureaucracy created to help employ five commissioners who are paid an incredible sum of money for supposedly regulating and over seeing the legal monopolies here in the state.  They somehow try to help you understand why Connecticut has some of the highest electric rates in the country with some of the worse service to go along with those high rates.  The money that is spent by this agency especially with now five commissioners due to the 2019 House Bill 7424 instead of three who earn combined well over $750,000 in salaries and benefits is economically irrational given Connecticut's economic crisis and high unemployment.  They have failed miserably in this crisis.  Three Commissioners can not solve PURA's issues why did Ned Lamont believe five would?  I forgot two more state political jobs can be paid for by Connecticut Taxpayers. 

High electric rates and poor service can be traced to several factors.  Eversource Energy top five management people earn over $40 million dollars.  One can argue that and rightly so that customers help pay for those salaries.  If one looks at 2018 Senate Bill 9 it shows why electric rates will skyrocket in the future due to the mandate to change over to renewable power over the next several years.  Ned Lamont argued on Twitter on July 30th that only 4% of the rate increase was due to the mandate even though it was accepted fully by PURA.  He suggested that Eversource Energy electric customers turn down their air conditioners and save energy.  

Massive campaign contributions flow into both state parties from Eversource Energy.  It is logical to assume that those contributions help to let our elected leaders overlook the constant shortcomings of Eversource Energy and its customers from high electric rates to poor service during a storm.  It is also logical to assume that PURA and its Commissioners just rubber stamp what these same elected leaders want them to do as we have just seen with these rate hikes.  Thus it is a no win solution for both Connecticut Eversource Energy customers and Connecticut Taxpayers.  They pay for poor service through both their high electric rates and high taxes.

The solution to this problem is the following.  First disband PURA and its commissioners.  The overseeing of utility monopolies in the state should be done by a non political independent agency.  Secondly, eliminate all utility lobbyist and campaign contributions by these same utilities in the state.  This has influenced bad decisions by our elected officials to reach the Third World State point that we are in today in Connecticut not just with monopoly electric companies but also with telephone, cell and cable TV and internet companies.  Change is needed if we are ever going to regain our state economy and not have businesses and household spend the bulk of their monies on excessively high taxes coupled with excessively high utility rates.  Enough is enough.

Welcome To Connecticut The Third World State-Part 2

 Welcome to Connecticut: The Third World State, Ned Lamont, Governor.  That should be the new sign at the entrances on the highways when one enters Connecticut but I have not seen them being put up yet. Oh well.  Obviously the Boston Consulting Group who is our current and future de-facto government has put a hold for these new signs for now. 

The continuing crisis that many Connecticut residents must face is when will their electricity be back on.  But fear not as there has been an abundance of blame being thrown at Eversource Energy and United Illuminating by Connecticut's elected officials who never seem to share the blame when it comes to a problem or crisis that they have helped to make.  In this case they have mandated a great deal of renewable energy to be created and used by these two utilities while having no comprehension as to how much it will cost both the utilities and or the customers of these utilities.   Our omnipotent one party rule's only concern seems to be making life as expensive and as difficult as it possibly can be while the political elite can line their pockets with good old fashion Connecticut Taxpayer's monies.  This bill for renewable energy is a great example of this.   And let us not forget the beauty of highly paid and somewhat forgotten utility company lobbyists who lobby our elected officials and who will make sure to smooth over ill feelings from yet another damaging storm.  Let us look at the stale rhetoric United States Senator Richard Blumenthal spews for the media while on yet another tour of damaged Connecticut homes and businesses.  The Senator demands action!  The Senator shows how much he cares so long as he is the lead story on Connecticut's biased media reports!  The Senator wants mass firings and or changes in Eversource Energy!  All the same garbage he stated during the last storm, and during the storm before that and even the storm before that.  On and on and on.  Maybe Senator Blumenthal along with Senator Chris Murphy and the five Connecticut Democrat United States Representatives could all grab chainsaws and rakes and be productive in helping the citizens they supposedly represent by helping to clean up the state for once in their lives rather than just spewing cheap bombast oratory that does nothing whatsoever to help the situation.  Now that would be a novel approach to this type of crisis wouldn't it?

But yet again when one lives in a Third World State what can one expect?  Common sense and logic when dealing with a crisis?  Possibly real actual preparations before a storm or a crisis hits?  We know that did not happen during the never ending profit making Connecticut Covid-19 crisis.  Nor do we know when and how Connecticut's economy will be allowed to fully open.  Possibly when the Lamont's family Hedge fund has made enough profit?  Or when lobbyists have contributed enough to the Connecticut Democrat Party to assure two more years of dictatorial rule?  What is really the plan for any crisis in Connecticut?  

Connecticut sorely needs real leadership in its state government.  It can no longer afford the constant failed liberal agenda from losing mail-in election ballots, to a never ending Covid-19 crisis that offers no solutions and a constant fear of losing your electricity and food during any type of storm summer or winter.  Connecticut needs someone to lead it into the 21st Century.  Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat are incapable of leading this state.  We live in a Third World State.  Enough is enough.

Welcome To Connecticut The Third World State-Part 1

Welcome to Connecticut: The Third World State, Ned Lamont, Governor.  That should be the new sign at the entrances on the highways when one enters Connecticut.  Since the hysteria and lock down of the Covid-19 crisis of March coupled with the massive economic damage it has caused, more economic destruction has occurred this past week with a Tropical Storm.

At the peak of the storm almost one third of the state's residents lost power.   And for Eversource Energy customers their last month's bill showed in some cases a 50% increase in the bill due to several factors including less power being used, and a state mandate that all energy be renewable in several years.   Thus those customers got higher rates plus no service.  And it seems to be a regular pattern here in Connecticut as to when a storm hits.  Power is out for days and Connecticut continues to have some of the highest electric rates in the country.  Oh well that seems to be acceptable to our elected officials as the blame starts as soon as power is out.  Ned Lamont's attention is now taken off the profit driven Covid-19 crisis and he must somehow answer to the public during a hot spell as to why power take days to restore while condemning high electric rates that are a product of his party's legal legislation that has passed.  And with a totally inept Public Utilities Regulatory Authority that does nothing to monitor nor oversee the state's utility monopolies such as Eversource Energy.  Please remember that these utilities have massive lobbying groups in Hartford that help nurture their companies at the expense in my opinion of their paying customers.  But isn't that how a Third World State operates?   A ruling political elite in this case coupled with a do nothing highly paid state agency regulatory group and lobbyist influencing legislation.  What is better than that?   The costs of clean up for this storm will be enormous thus causing more economic havoc to the state.  Insurance losses and personal property losses will be high especially with spoiled food.  

I truly wonder if Connecticut's state government has any plans whatsoever for an emergency?  It really does not seem like it to me.  Whether it is a public health crisis with no apparent state Public Health Commissioner in charge except for a highly paid consulting group or now yet another storm that creates chaos to the state's residents and businesses with losses of electricity, phone and internet services, there is really no plan in an emergency.

And that is the way it in Connecticut: The Third World State.  Enough is enough.

Where Have All The Connecticut Ballots Gone?

Did you see the ballot?  What ballot you may ask?  The ballot in question is from the apparent Covid-19 free Secretary of State's Office for the upcoming August 11th Primary election that is completely fool proof with the wide open ballot boxes on your local street corner where you will depositing your ballot. 
There seems to be a problem with the upcoming fool proof Covid-19 free absentee ballots coming straight from our of Secretary of State for Life Office.  It seems that some 20,000 ballots for the August 11th primary were never mailed out (today is August 4th).  (https://www.dailyructions.com/merrill-failure-20000-voters-will-not-receive-absentee-ballots-town-clerks-will-try-to-solve-primary-crisis/) As reported by Kevin Rennie this has now become a major problem for Town Clerks in Connecticut towns and cities as they must find these voters and send them their ballots pronto!  Quickly!   Beyond fast! Hurry up!
However I was under the impression that Boston Consulting Group in conjunction with Ned Lamont recommended that we switch to mail in and or easily deposited ballots to make our state primary and Presidential/State election Covid-19 free and problem free?  Seems like we have a major problem now with 20,000 voters (I wonder how many are dead?) who do not have and probably are not getting their ballots any time soon.  This will hurt most those individuals who have legitimate reasons be it health wise or otherwise who now will not be able to vote.  But then again when did our state government care about legal Connecticut Voters anyways?
We will know over the next few days Connecticut Senators Murphy and Blumenthal will stay as far away as they can with regards to this issue.  They will stick with the tried and true daily President Trump denunciations and or pick on some conservative view that they must condemn while giving a free ride to the debacle of the failed ballot delivery by their own inept state political party.  Isn't that how the game is played anyways by Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party?  They are never, never at fault for anything.  I am surprised the Secretary of State's office is not blaming the Connecticut Republican Party for this mix up. 
Voting in any election is a legal right guaranteed by our State Constitution.  It has been made a joke and farce by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Secretary of State's Office in 2020.  I can not see how our primary election and November election will be not be corrupted.  This upcoming election is once again another miserable failure by the inept state leaders who rule Connecticut with an iron hand.  Elections at any level should be free of rigging, corruption and fraud.  Unfortunately we are already seeing these issues occur in our upcoming primary.  I can only imagine how bad the November election will be.  Enough is enough.

Did You Know There Was An Election In November In Connecticut's Third Congressional District?

I bet you did not realize there was an election going on in Connecticut's Third Congressional District?  This district has been represented for too long by avowed socialist/ultra liberal Democrat Rosa DeLauro.  She has been in office for a mere 29 years since 1991 and is now 77 years old.  I truly do not know what she has done for our district other than tow the Connecticut Democrat Party line in Washington bringing little of value to our district while usually condemning any ideas brought forth by the Republican Party especially during the Trump Administration just as she did during the Bush Administrations.  What I find ironic about DeLauro is that she recently wrote a long winded piece on why it was ok to remove the Christopher Columbus statue out of Wooster Square in New Haven.  After reading her rhetoric on this subject I truly wonder why any Italian-American voter in the Third Congressional District would want to vote for her again?  But then again DeLauro toes the party line day in and day out with no results whatsoever for the legal citizens of Connecticut's Third Congressional District.  I guess that is the power of her stale incumbency here in Connecticut.
This election we see a powerful challenger to her. Milford Businesswoman Margaret Streicker is running a strong campaign to unseat DeLauro in 2020.  She has been very active in her campaigning and fund raising which I am sure is raising eyebrows in the staic and politically correct DeLauro campaign.
I am still wondering what DeLauro has done for her district over the past thirty years? 
I really can not see anything and I truly wonder why she is still in office? 
Margaret Streicker represents a breath of fresh air to Connecticut's Third Congressional District.  She stated on her website recently:  (https://streicker2020.com/priorities)
"Connecticut pays the 4th highest property taxes and 2nd highest combined sales and income taxes in the nation and we are getting less and less for it. It’s time to reverse the trend of skyrocketing taxes and lower them to allow hard-working families to stay in the neighborhoods we all know and love."
And DeLauro in my opinion really never makes any statements whatsoever about either the massive taxes we pay in her district nor any type of tax relief in her thirty years in office.  One can also argue that there has been no improvements either in the quality of life in New Haven and or the Third Congressional District since her first term.  For example, "Obamacare" has driven health insurance costs through the roof and has done nothing to improve health care in our district.  Also I really wonder how long our economic recession has to continue in Connecticut's Third Congressional District.  It has been a mere thirty years now.  
We need a major change in the people who represent us in Connecticut for Congress.  Rosa DeLauro's time has passed and she needs to get out of office.  I know that my family and friends will be voting for Republican Margaret Streicker for Connecticut's Third Congressional District.   The time is now for a change.  Connecticut's Third Congressional District can not afford another two years of the failed policies of our current Representative.  Enough is enough.

What Happened To Connecticut's Common Sense?

I really wonder what happened to Connecticut's common sense since March 16, 2020?  Why did it disappear?  And when might common sense come back for the state?  And or will it ever come back?
We have seen the extremes of the non functioning Connecticut State Government over the past 138 days of our lockdown.  We have seen constant changes in data, in statistics, in supposed protocols to follow all in the name of fighting off Covid-19.  We were told there would not be enough hospital space when the virus hit and there would not be enough PPE materials and equipment for everyone.  We were told that if we do not wear a mask when we go shopping and following one way in the store aisles we were placing everyone at risk.  We were told that the restaurant industry must shut down and only offer limited take out for several months-but now we can eat inside but for only a two hour maximum while customers can keep their masks off while eating but servers must keep theirs on at all times.  I wonder how healthy this will be for the employees of restaurants in the long run?
Does it make sense and or is it common sense that we are all assumed to have Covid-19 in Connecticut at all times when we leave our homes?  Does it make sense and or is it common sense that most of us do not have it and we should be able to assume a somewhat normal life style if we do not have it? Does it make sense and or is it common sense that those elderly and most vulnerable to getting the virus were the least taken care of?  The $2 million dollars that was spent on a no bid consulting contract to Boston Consulting Group could have been diverted to help those elderly people who were sick and not the politically connected of the Connecticut Democrat Party instead.
I have seen on many occasions that Ned Lamont does not wear a mask.  Has he been able to decree himself through one of his many self serving directives that he does not need one as Governor?  I am curious about that?  I am also curious if any common sense was used when ordering hundreds of millions of dollars of "Covid-19" necessities?  Or did Connecticut Taxpayers just overspend on many items and services to help increase profits to Lamont Hedge Fund backed companies that found their way into our state purchasing system?  I can not wait to see if any of these purchases will be audited in the future and the problems that will come from that audit.
I believe that if we had real leaders in Hartford during this crisis who used common sense we would not have the economic mess we are in at this time.  If real precautions were taken that kept all businesses and schools along with the State Legislature open we probably would have had the same amount of cases and deaths in the state.  We would not have a 22% unemployment rate and see an enormous amount of businesses shut down for good.  We would not have seen massive lines for food at local food banks.  And we would be building immunity against Covid-19 among our population both young and old as we see in other states.
Common sense is tough to find here in Connecticut especially in our non functioning state government. I really do not buy into the wholesale destruction of our state economy due to this virus when I see many public health issues in our state being ignored such as illegal drug use and abuse, broken families and mental health issues that are imploding.  Maybe someone in Hartford could lead with common sense?  I know Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party are not capable of it.  Enough is enough.

Connecticut "The Fearful State" Rather Than "The Constitution State"

Connecticut should be renamed "The Fearful State" rather than "The Constitution State".  Why? Our state constitution has little meaning or value to the omnipotent one party rule of Connecticut's public unions and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Thus we should change the nickname of the state to "The Fearful State".  I wonder why this change was not included in the recent sham Connecticut State Legislative session that was just held rather than the supposedly more critical issues of the stripping of personal liabilities for local police and stuff the ballot box with illegal votes through absentee ballots to help keep one party rule safe for the Connecticut Democrat Party for two more years?
"The Fearful State" sends a strong message to those who must live in constant fear here in Connecticut.  Fear everything and anything as we are told by Boston Consulting Group and Ned Lamont.  The new big fear is that if we vote in person we all will most likely get Covid-19 and we must therefore vote by paper ballot and drop it off in our safe outdoor ballot box provided by the Secretary of the State. Why isn't the process that has worked for years not be followed which is absentee ballots that are mailed in and verified by our Registrars of Voters?  It is too foolproof?  How are we safeguarding our elections through this process?  No explanations needed when it comes to making the system work to the advantage of the Connecticut Democrat Party.
"The Fearful State" can also be used during the never ending Covid-19 crisis.  What is Ned Lamont's plan to reopen the state?  Is there such a plan?  I believe most businesses and legal taxpayers would like to know and also have much more frequent updates as to what our state government is actually doing to respond to this supposed crisis.  Do we actually have a working Connecticut Public Health Commissioner?  Do we have to wait until yet another Boston Consulting Group report gets issued and read by Lamont to act?  Or what New York Democrat Governor Cuomo enacts before Lamont acts?  Or do we need more Lamont hedge fund related companies to create something or get no bid state contracts before the next steps are made in Hartford?  Or how about some good old political fundraising thrown into the mix by the Connecticut Democrat Party during this crisis?
"The Fearful State" can also be used during the 2020 re election of all things Connecticut Democrat Party.  As was reported this week a mere $900,000. was spent in mailed pieces to tell the remaining legal Connecticut Taxpayers and voters what a great job their sometimes State House and Senate Representatives are doing during the Covid-19 crisis.  Who would want to question the value of this investment of yet another $900,000. of Connecticut Taxpayers Monies at a time when Connecticut has a mere $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities?  Why isn't it much more important to keep the same stale government in power ad infinitum (forever) then to try to do something different to help Connecticut gain jobs and get back on its feet economically?
Why must Connecticut become "The Fearful State"?
Why can't Connecticut show a fearless nature and get moving again in the right economic direction?
A false narrative and a false state government are the reasons.  Enough is enough.

A Tale Of Two Connecticut's-Corruption and Fraud

Connecticut seems to have two different realities.  One reality that is painted by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the state's biased media is that Connecticut is a Utopia of low taxes, great job opportunities, and one of the most desired states to want to move to (especially if you are escaping New Jersey or New York).  This Utopia also is nurtured by the concept of following anything and everything the Connecticut Democrat Party tells you to do whether you are a business or private citizen thus your life here will be perfect.
The other reality that to me is much more talked about privately and by the great silent majority of the state is a quagmire of high taxes, political nepotism, political connections, corrupted politicians, archaic damaging state laws, massive unemployment, massive business closures along with a strong dislike for personal freedoms. 
Thus we have a tale of two Connecticut's.
One Connecticut exists as the playground of the Connecticut Democrat Party.  They like to look the other way when Ned Lamont's family and their hedge fund scores another no bid state contract and makes more profit for them.  They enjoy creating horrific pieces of legislation and then try to spin the damages it will create for the state and its economy as the Connecticut Republican Party's fault.  They enjoy and will at all costs take care of their own.  Besides the profit machine the Lamont's have been pumping through their hedge fund through Covid-19 tests, tracing and other areas we see the appointment of Democrat operative Mary Glassman to a highly paid state job.  Glassman who ran with Lamont in his failed 2010 Governor's run and lost convincingly to Jahana Hayes in their 2018 primary for Congress was just given a plush state taxpayer funded job as a senior advisor to Lamont in his constituent affairs office.  One can not find much information on candidate for life Glassman's position and how much she will be paid for her job and why she was given it in the first place.  One must remember that Connecticut is in an economic depression with a 22% unemployment rate along with a bankrupt unemployment compensation fund.  But in the Connecticut Democrat Party's eyes Glassman and her fund raisers, her connections and her power is much too good of a person to be unemployed.  The other peons who have lost their jobs because of the Draconian Lamont Covid-19 shutdown since March 15 are left to fend for themselves.  I will assume that is why we have food banks in our state anyways, to facilitate and help those who do not hold their allegiance to the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Throw those out of work some food to survive and let the victors have their spoils.  Especially when Connecticut has a mere $145 billion dollars in short and long term debts along with unfunded liabilities.  Somehow that is the fault of the Connecticut Taxpayers or maybe even the timid Connecticut Republican Party or President Trump's fault?
Oh and take their police protection away from those who abide by the law also.  It represents the stench that is polluting Connecticut from its supposed state government.
Connecticut has been a vast economic wasteland for years filled with fraud.  It is a tale of two states: one for the Connecticut Democrat Party and its corruption and fraud and one for hard working legal taxpayers who are laughed at and ridiculed by the ruling elite.   It is time for it to end once and for all.

Why are we eliminating Police Forces in Connecticut?

I wonder why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to eliminate our police forces in Connecticut?  Is it because we are too safe now?  Is it because there are no more crimes?  Is it because there is no more domestic violence?  Is it because there are no more shootings with illegal guns and weapons?  Is it because there are no more car thefts in Connecticut by gangs of youth and career criminals?  Is it because we are now going to police ourselves through open carry laws in Connecticut?  Is it because our court system in the state will actually prosecute criminals and impose jail terms to fit the crimes?  Is it because the "early release " program is going to be eliminated? Is it because "An Act Concerning Police Accountability,” House Bill 6004, will somehow somehow eliminate all bad cops (if there are any in the state) and eliminate the need for police?  Is it because Connecticut has just shifted the economic burdens of police forces to cities and towns by the removal of necessary qualified immunity for officers? Is it because now the massive costs to be shouldered by cities and towns will in effect make employing police forces cost prohibitive and thus eliminate them?
I wonder why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to eliminate our police forces in Connecticut?   What did the different city and town police forces do to the Connecticut Democrat Party?  Enforce laws to those who were breaking the law?  Enforce laws that guarantee your right to ownership of your own personal property?  Enforce laws that allow you the freedom to work at your own business under protection from theft and violence?  Enforce laws that eliminate child abuse, child kidnapping and child molestation?  Enforce laws that protect the innocent from exploitation?
Why are our police forces in Connecticut so bad for trying to protect innocent law abiding citizens?  We supposedly have the toughest gun laws in Connecticut thus why are there still many shootings and deaths in Connecticut's Democrat controlled cities such as Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford?  Is it somehow because of police accountability?  It seems never to be due to personal responsibility of the illegal gun owner shooting another victim.  It seems never to be because of the constant illegal drug war that our police forces must battle on a daily basis. 
No it is because we must be force fed another bad piece of Connecticut Democrat Party legislation that further erodes the personal freedoms of law abiding state citizens while helping to nurture and placate distorted Democrat liberalism that continues to fail Connecticut on a daily basis. 
This bill says it all.  One must be in wonder why with the Connecticut Democrat Party induced economic depression from Covid-19 that this is the most pressing issue in the state today?
One must be in wonder also what the Connecticut Democrat Party plan is to pay off the state's $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with its unfunded liabilities?  More importantly one must wonder who in their right mind would want to become a Police Officer in the state after this morally bankrupt House Bill 6004 passed during the middle of the night with little debate and will be once again shoved down the throats of the law abiding citizens and taxpayers of the state?
I wonder why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to eliminate our police forces in Connecticut?  Who is going to personally protect us now? 
The silence is deafening once again.

Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.

Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  There seems to be a constant and never ending fear of getting Covid-19 if legal Connecticut citizens do not follow the guidelines and decrees that have been implemented by Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.   
Of course the real figures seem to be confusing to me as only a small amount of people actually got the virus and died from it here in Connecticut.  Along with the figures in the United States.  And I really am confused as to how many people actually had it and recovered from it since all of the statistics being given seem to be fear driven.  How many people were tested a false positive?  How many people have recovered?  How does a cloth mask prevent its spread?  I would venture to state that many more people get well from the virus than die from it.  But how interesting that all of these issues of Covid-19 amazingly come to a head right before our State and Presidential election.
For example here in Connecticut we should not be allowed to vote in person for either our primary or in our general election this November.  It seems to be unsafe according to Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  However it seems to be safe and has always been safe to go grocery shopping, to Costco, to pump your own gas touching a pump handle that seems not to be cleaned after every use or touch, and most importantly to go protest against a Christopher Columbus statute being in the same position it has been in for 100 plus years and or against supposed police brutality if you decide to break the law.  But from what we can tell breaking the law is politically acceptable especially if it meets the needs of Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party here in Connecticut.  As it seems to me that Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party enjoy the free for all fear that they have created since their "legal" shutdown of Connecticut on March 15th or 16th or 17th (pick a date).  I will assume this shut down can never end unless either an Oak HC/FT Lamont Hedge fund invested company has created a vaccine, a complete tracing system and or another no bid contract with the State of Connecticut. 
Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  Looking at the guidelines required to re open schools K-12 in Connecticut in the fall one must wonder who is going to pay for all of the increased "requirements" and who in their right mind would want to either attend classes and or teach physically in those same classes.  Three feet apart, six feet apart, no lunch rooms to eat in, the wearing of masks at all times, etc.  I wonder as an educator how will any student be able to learn under these draconian conditions and how any teacher will able to teach under these same draconian conditions?  Who will teach on line and how will a first grade student for example actually learn online?  The costs of education here in the state should skyrocket under these conditions easily.  Who then pays?  
Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  Why fly into Connecticut even though you are healthy and have to attend a family function/funeral and or attend to business?  It seems to be unsafe according to Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party and they wish to fine you $1000 if do not stay put, register yourself and quarantine for the magical 14 days that someone stated you should.  But it seems ok to fly if you are coming here to protest and or attend a Democrat held fund raiser.  What was I thinking!
Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  Common sense in my opinion no longer exists here in Connecticut.  Fear does.  The fear that is manufactured on a daily basis by Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  The trio that has helped nurture a 22% unemployment rate, destroyed many businesses and wish to de-fund our police departments. 
All while they laugh and profit from a supposed flu virus.

Connecticut Can't Save Nor Stop Spending Taxpayers Money

Can Connecticut's State Government learn how to save money?  Can it stop spending Connecticut Taxpayer's Money?
This week we see a convicted former Whiting Forensic Hospital nurse who abused his patients is still receiving his $88,229 a year state pension while in prison.  Why is he still getting this pension?  Why must Connecticut Taxpayers pay for this?
This week we see that hundreds of Connecticut state employees may have filed for unemployment benefits illegally due to losses of part time and or side jobs.  These state employees are full time workers and are not eligible for unemployment benefits under state law.  Why was this allowed to happen in the first place and why did it take so long for auditors to find it out?  Connecticut's unemployment fund is once again broke thus the state must borrow money from the Federal government to keep it afloat.  Connecticut will then in turn issue a special tax on all businesses in the state to pay for this borrowing.  Connecticut has a 20-22% unemployment rate at this time of Ned Lamont's Executive Order of a continuing lock down due to the now fading Covid-19 virus.  Why can't Connecticut reopen fully?
This week we see that Ned Lamont wants to have airline passengers flying into Bradley Airport (which is subsidized by Connecticut Taxpayers) to quarantine for 14 days when here and to fill out forms stating where they are staying, what purpose, etc.  How much is this program going to cost Connecticut Taxpayers?   Who is going to run the program?  A new state agency?  Boston Consulting Group?  Will a Lamont family hedge fund invested company be given a no bid contract for its implementation or tracing?  How is this even legal?
We also see that Connecticut homeowners pay 20% more than New York and almost 50% more than Massachusetts in property taxes as a percentage of housing value while Connecticut home values have declined by roughly 10% over the past ten years.  Property taxes continue to go up here in the state year in and year out.  These were the results found by the Tax Foundation (taxfoundation.org)
It is obvious that Connecticut's government can not save nor stop spending Connecticut Taxpayers money.  And contrary to State Treasurer Shawn Wooden's claim that Connecticut residents are not fleeing out of state especially to Florida or other states, Connecticut Taxpayers and Businesses are fleeing the state year in and year out, Covid-19 or not.  Connecticut has both a spending and debt problem.  Connecticut still has over $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.   Connecticut State Government shows no fiscal restraint crisis or no crisis.  Connecticut State Government just relies on the failed tax and spend policies years in and years out to reach the mess we are in and continue to be in for the foreseeable future. 
Remember on Election Day this is the record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running on.  Why would you vote Democrat?  
And why can't Connecticut stop spending Connecticut Taxpayer's Money?

The Connecticut Election November 3, 2020

Believe it or not there is an election that is supposed to take place on Tuesday November 3, 2020 here in Connecticut.  Since Ned Lamont has instilled a massive fear in many legal state citizens to leave their house the Connecticut Democrat Party's new game plan is to try to run a complete mail in and absentee vote election in November.  By now if you are a registered voter in the state (and if you are dead but still voting Democrat) you received an application for an absentee ballot.  Apparently due to the constant and never ending fear of getting Covid-19 if you leave your house you may somehow get it if you go to vote in person. The Connecticut Democrat Party wants you to vote by mail.  Vote by mail with a straight Democrat vote from top to bottom for their hacks and our do nothing non working state legislature.  Ned Lamont wants it this way.  It is probably what Boston Consulting Group told him to do to maintain ultimate decreed power and one party rule over Connecticut and to keep those no bid-Lamont family hedge fund invested businesses making money.   
Why can't we vote in person? Are Covid-19 particles everywhere we go?  But they are not present if we wear a mask to go to work?   Nor are they present when we go buy groceries?  What kind of oversight will be made when these mail in ballots get counted?  Are the Connecticut Republican Party officials going to be allowed to be present when votes are counted in Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford?  And are they going to be able to contest votes for voters who are dead or not registered?
In my opinion a vote by mail election is ripe for fraud to occur and influence the outcome of the election.  But isn't that what the Connecticut Democrat Party wants?
By the way here is the economy in Connecticut currently for those who do not know.  We have a   22% rate of unemployment with many still waiting for their unemployment benefits after four months.  Many small businesses have gone under and will never reopen again.  Tax revenues are down for cities and towns.  Those remaining businesses that are open are facing massive increases in operating costs that will be difficult to recoup in the long run.  The Connecticut state budget will have a roughly $5 billion dollar budget deficit due to the downturn in economic activity and lower tax revenues.  The state did not cut their spending during this crisis for non essential services.  Connecticut has $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities it must answer to at some point before it goes bankrupt.  Ned Lamont's family hedge fund has profited nicely from his decrees and no bid state contracts that were given to companies that they invested in.  All with Connecticut Taxpayers monies.
This is the record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running for on November 3, 2020.  And you wonder why legal Connecticut residents are skeptical of this new vote by mail scheme?  Do yourself a favor this election-don't vote Democrat at any level of government.  The Connecticut Democrat Party and its hacks have helped ruin Connecticut's economy and personal freedoms.  Why would you want to continue to support them in any way any longer?  Why?

Connecticut's Fear And No Solutions

Simple solutions to complex problems.  Or complex solutions to simple problems.  Or no solutions whatsoever to a manufactured health care crisis that is allowed to linger so that the Lamont's and other politically connected individuals are allowed to earn profits off of it.  I believe that later is happening at this time.
Connecticut seems not to have many cases at all of Covid-19 and or many hospitalizations from it either at this time.  Connecticut since the March 16th Lamont induced lock down has not had many cases at all of Covid-19 and or many hospitalizations from it either.  Connecticut's deaths from Covid-19 were mainly from those most vulnerable in our society who had little protection.  This being elderly people in nursing homes.  Connecticut instead has an economy in disarray with Ned Lamont issuing executive order after executive order that both shut down the economy, increased unemployment to Depression era levels, ruined many businesses and did little to supposedly keep Connecticut safe from Covid-19.  All at the same time he and his wife profited by the maze of companies that have investments in them through their Cayman Islands non Connecticut based hedge fund.  These same Lamont companies doing business with the state through no bid contracts.
It is an amazing to see that this is not reported on by the state's Democrat controlled media.
It is an amazing picture to see the constant fear that has been drummed into the citizens of Connecticut on a daily basis since the virus hit and continues to this day.  I wonder how many people still have yet to leave their homes since March 16th?  I wonder how a piece of plexiglass is preventing Covid-19 from occurring in restaurants and stores?  And how that those stores that remained open after the issuance of the executive order back in March were able to operate without this plexiglass and not have any issues with Covid-19?  People in stores are only allowed to go one way up or down an aisle in these same stores now, I truly wonder the medical reasoning and logic from it as again one did not do this when shopping before it was decreed by Lamont and or by the Boston Consulting Group.  Masks on or off?  By wearing a mask that has germs on it you prevent Covid-19? 
I wonder also where is all of the Cares Act Federal monies that Connecticut has received being spent on and for what?  There seems to be little of any accounting of it nor are Connecticut Taxpayers being given a daily or weekly update on it.  One must study the Open Connecticut transparent state run website to see where millions of dollars go each week of Connecticut Taxpayers monies.  I wonder also how many of our elected legislatures of our now defunct state legislature can explain what was paid out at this time? 
Our Phase 3 re-opening has been put on hold indefinitely by Lamont citing the increases in cases from other parts of the country.  Why?  Are we other parts of the country?  Lamont also has issued what amounts to a travel ban covering people entering Connecticut from now 19 states.  What happens when a trucking company must send supplies to Connecticut from one of these 19 states?  They can't deliver to the state any more?  Will Connecticut only re-open completely once every legal resident is tested for Covid-19 by a test issued by a company that has investment ties to the Lamont's hedge fund and then constantly traced and monitored by another company that has investment ties to the Lamont's hedge fund?  Is this the end game for the Lamont's and the Connecticut Democrat Party?  Total and complete control of Connecticut's economy and its legal citizens?  Socialism at its worse?  No common sense in dealing with this crisis whatsoever.
Fear seems to be everywhere in Connecticut.  Ned Lamont enjoys playing on this constant theme of fear.  Fear of eating out.  Fear of buying goods in a store.  Fear of going to the local small store in your town.  Fear of shaking your friend's hand.  Fear of hugging a family member.  Fear of not wearing a mask in public.   Fear of groups of people.  Fear of being allowed to go to Church each week and worship.  Lamont is a fear based, fear driven and ill equipped Governor.
Yet life somehow continues in Connecticut as more and more middle class citizens move out only to be replaced by liberal and wealthy former New York and New Jersey residents.  Connecticut has now an incredible budget deficit from this crisis.  Connecticut keeps spending money at an ever increasing rate.  And we still have no solutions to this supposed crisis.  We see how unprepared Connecticut and its leaders were and still are during this crisis. 
We only see fear and no solutions. 
It is time for it to stop.

When Will Connecticut Open Up Completely?

When will Connecticut open up again completely?
Will it be when the Lamont's have made enough money through their hedge fund and satisfied the web of companies they have invested in that have no bid contracts with the State of Connecticut?
Will it be when enough small businesses are permanently shut down so that large corporate chains and companies can take over in the state?
Will it be when Boston Consulting Group becomes a permanent vendor for the State of Connecticut with an open ended contract with unlimited Connecticut Taxpayers monies at their disposal to spend?
Will it be when every legal citizen of Connecticut gets tested for Covid-19 by a company that has investment ties with the Lamont's?
Will it be when every legal citizen of Connecticut is forced to use an app by a company that has investment ties with the Lamont's to trace every step they make 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year?
Will it be when the state's budget deficit increases to $10 billion dollars for the fiscal year?  $15 billion dollars for the fiscal year? 
Will it be when Connecticut's short and long term debt along with its unfunded liabilities reach $200 billion dollars?  $250 billion dollars?
Will be when Connecticut has a 30% unemployment rate?  A 35% unemployment rate?
Will it be when the working middle class of the state no longer exists?
When will Connecticut open up again completely?
Connecticut Taxpayers no longer can get answers to their questions during this manufactured Covid-19 crisis from its non existent state legislature.  In a state that has a listed number of 3,570,514 legal citizens, there has been 4,338 deaths from Covid-19 as of July 7th.  That is a death rate of 0.00121495112%.  What is death rate from drug overdoses in our state?  What is death rate from cancer in our state?  Where is our State Public Health Commissioner discussing these figures?  Does Connecticut have a State Public Health Commissioner during this crisis or is it Boston Consulting Group?
The games being played by the Lamont Administration and the Connecticut Democrat Party continue to destroy the state's economy.  It is perfectly acceptable to have mass demonstrations that fit the Democrat Party agenda but large groups of weekly worship at churches are prohibited.  
We see a total failure in our state government as far as leadership is concerned.  All we see is a massive profit grab by the politically connected.  
When will Connecticut open up again completely?   I guess it will never fully open up so long as Ned Lamont rules the state.

244 Years of Freedom July 4, 1776 - July 4, 2020

IN CONGRESS, JULY 4, 1776
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated  Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

The $15 Million Dollar Covid-19 Test?

$15 million dollars for Covid-19 tests?  Is this for real?  If you live in Connecticut a company called Sema-4 is getting a great deal of State of Connecticut money for Covid-19 testing and other items.  It has gotten this Connecticut Taxpayer money since 2015.  In December 2015 the Department of Economic and Community Development under the Malloy Administration gave this company a $9.5 million dollar loan (partially forgiven) to create 145 jobs in the state (or roughly $65518. per job). In April 2018 the Malloy Administration gave them another $6 million dollar loan (partially forgiven) for machinery, equipment, capital improvements along with the creation of 408 jobs.  They get $15.5 million dollars in Connecticut Taxpayers monies and amazingly get $12.2 million dollars of this money forgiven. 
In June 2020, Sema-4 seems to have entered into a no bid State of Connecticut contract for Covid-19 testing.  I again wonder are they the only company in the country that provides these tests and at what costs?   Connecticut Taxpayers do not know what these tests cost due to a concept known as "trade secrets" for the tests. Ann Lamont's hedge fund Oak HC/FT invests in Sema-4 which is a DBA (doing business as) of Mount Sinai genomics.  The State of Connecticut gets a bill from Sema-4 for $600,000. in Covid-19 tests that is paid for recently.  I wonder how much more the state will be billed by this company that already has gotten an enormous amount of money from Connecticut Taxpayers and at the same time that the Lamont's hedge fund receive profits from their investments in this same company?  No one in our state government questions this maze of Connecticut Taxpayers monies that have benefited the Lamont's. 
Tony DeAngelo, who has been investigating these issues on his "Ten Minutes With Tony"  segment heard on the Lee Elci Show that broadcasts on 94.9 FM New London, Connecticut talked about this never ending Lamont connection among other troubling connections with them on his June 30 segment. Ned Lamont now has to pat himself on the back all by showing the country that he himself stopped the Covid-19 virus in Connecticut.  It is truly amazing now that there are now few cases, few hospitalizations and obviously those who died in the state's nursing homes needlessly was just a bump in the road to the state's great health.  Ned Lamont also has to pat himself on the back for the amount of profit he and his wife have made through their hedge fund during this crisis through a complex maze of companies, many of which received Connecticut Taxpayers monies through forgiven loans and state grants.  He truly runs our state as a self appointed dictator under the cover of the supposed Covid-19 crisis. 
All this while the rest of our state's economy has imploded and the economic depression that exists in the state for many will never end.  Along with a massive $145 billion dollars plus in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  The Connecticut Democrat Party with its politically connected friends along with Ned Lamont have a twisted version of liberalism and economic stimulus. It is a fascinating read as they are the only ones who can and will benefit from the self induced Covid-19 crisis.   The hell with the rest of the state and its legal citizens once again.
