Democrat Mission Statement 2026: Hide The Red Jackass

How much more progressive can the new Communist/Socialist Democrat Party veer to in 2026?  As we see a daily assault on traditional American values peppered by the lies of progressive Democrats, any people of common decency wonder why there has not been a greater outcry against this attempted governmental overthrow, especially by the remaining moderate Democrats in the party, followed by establishment Republicans who mistakenly are treating this concentrated evil as a flukey joke at most?  Why is there a great delight by a small minority in our political system to hate Jewish people, hate the police, defund the police, hate free-enterprise, eliminate our sovereign borders, eliminate the rule of law, eliminate prisons, eliminate personal freedoms, eliminate personal and real property, hate religion and hate God? And how do those in this twisted minority feel they have the lawful right to force their sickening views on the rest of us Americans who vehemently disagree with them?  Do they understand how many millions of Americans lost their lives defending freedom so these radicals within the failed Democrat Party can bellow their hatred of our country on a daily basis?  Are those lives lost in vain?  Do they understand that they are functionally nonproductive for any purpose, and that the only way these people can exist from day to day is by relying on the largesse of others? It is ostensible that they understand very little about anything whatsoever other than the psychobabble that has been drilled into their heads by evil adults and authority figures having twisted Communist agendas.

It is no secret these truly evil of the left wing wish to clean house of all of the rich, fossilized career establishment Democrats populating Congress. Perhaps it may be the personal wealth of the Frozen Chosen that irritates these evil people.  The decrepit anti-wealth Bernie Sanders is worth $4,000,000 plus.  Nancy Pelosi tips the scales at a mere $245,000,000.  Vietnam Veteran Dick Blumenthal, a warrior to the core, sports a modest $85,000,000.  Mark Warner, another assailant of wealthy billionaires, shows he is not one of them,at $206,000,000.  Barack Obama, a poor community organizer from Chicago is now worth $70,000,000.  Rosa De Lauro is a relative piker at $5,000,000, which certainly is enough to provide for purple hair dye.  Ilhan Omar is alleged to be worth $30,000,000, and she has yet to prove otherwise. (Open Secrets.org) Do a search on Democrat politicians’ wealth and it might surprise you to see these same multi-millionaires decrying our free market system and capitalism while they profit off it.    Why aren't these same Socialist Democrat multi-millionaires  giving away their money to help to right of all the supposed social wrongs that they bitch about on a daily basis? Why aren’t they funding this new cadre of renegade Communists to assail America with more energy, vim, and vigor? The answer is that the established group of Democrat fossils sees this new Demo-communist as a threat to their position, power and financial endowment.  In fact, the old guard hates these Communists more than you and I might. What a sickening example of hypocrisy this is.

I wonder how many more examples of socialism and communism failure must be discussed to counter the rose colored glasses view of these horrific ideologies? It would be a wonderful world if these same communists/socialists were forced to study the following atrocities; (the) Bolshevik Revolution, Bataan Death March, Chinese Communist Revolution, Pol Pot's Communist Party of Kampuchea, (resulting in the Cambodian genocide) and the Holocaust.  How did any of these atrocities against humanity benefit freedom?  Russia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, Zimbabwe and North Korea have all changed for the worse under Communist influence, yet they are glorified by this generation of deranged idealists.

Through it all, we are thankful that President Trump realizes this assault on our freedoms and stated in his July 3rd speech at Mount Rushmore; “There is now a resurgence of the communist menace in our land, including from newcomers to our country who embrace ideas totally opposed to our way of life and our great success. These are not mere political disagreements like differences over taxes or regulations. Communism is a mortal threat to American liberty. It is the greatest threat to our country, including World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor, or even 9/11. We're not gonna let this happen to us. Believe me, we're not letting it happen. Because communism is the enemy of free people everywhere, everywhere in the world. Never works. It's the enemy of the Constitution.  Above all, it's the enemy of July 4th, 1776. It is the enemy indeed. Even while the radicals and extremists attack our incredible history at every turn, they are silent on the miserable history of communism itself because it never worked. Thousands of years, if you look at it under different names, under somewhat different ideologies and systems, that system has led to more death and destruction than any system ever tried. It killed 100 million people just in the last century alone. Communism is the exact opposite of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It's death, tyranny, and the pursuit of evil. The godless communist morality states that anything is justified to bring about inhuman visions and a pro- -- and to really propose what's good. They don't want good. They don't love God and they don't want God. They don't love religion and they don't want religion, and they won't have it, but we will not let them win. They have no chance against us. They have no respect for law, justice, principle, tradition, or your God-given rights. It's an ideology of mass theft, mass control, mass lies, and mass murder...You can be loyal to Karl Marx or you can be loyal to America. You can be a communist or you can be a patriot. You cannot be both. As for those who pedal Marx's lies about our heritage, who tell our children that we live on stolen land or that our heroes were oppressors." (https://rollcall.com/factbase/trump/transcript/donald-trump-remarks-mount-rushmore-250th-birthday-semiquincentennial-july-3-2026/)

I highly recommend all sides of the aisle to read this speech, and to watch it again, several times over.  Please digest and truly understand what President Trump is actually saying.  And if you are a Republican running for public office at any level, you must quote from it in your pro American/Freedom/anti-Communism/Socialism speeches if you are called upon.  It is unquestionable that our free country and our personal freedoms are worth fighting for once again, as they were in 1776.

The political pap and crap that is force fed to us by an out of touch with reality Socialist Democrat Party embracing this communism/socialism is continually enabled by an obedient docile, and inept media. This toxic mess needs to be confronted once and for all.  The time and money we have to invest in this fight defies logic as we do live in the freest and greatest country in the world.  If this small minority of Communists/Socialists do not like living here, then please get the hell out of America once and for all.  Your system has never worked and will never work, contrary to your lies. Better communists than you have failed miserably in this endeavor and you are not equipped to succeed. Most of you cannot even explain the difference between Pol Pot and a Coffee Pot.  Stop infringing upon my and millions of other Americans economic, personal and religious freedoms.  We are the majority, and your sickening doctrine you are trying to shove down our throats is best left ignored.
In closing, may the complacent and comfortable elected members of the political system take this situation to heart with urgency, and not with the usual stubbornness and incompetence. If this class of individuals fights Communism at least half as hard as ordinary citizens are, this fight will be over very quickly.

May God Save The United States Of America from all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Connecticut Politics: Corruption Is Our Currency

Politics is an art. In Connecticut, politics seems to be a way to enhance one's power and wealth. Increasingly, it is a profession that when one enters it, one never leaves it. It also is a profession where one can gain and develop great wealth over short periods of time while those in oversight either screw-up repeatedly or look the other way, all at your expense. It is a very closed circle where new ideas are shunned in many ways regardless of whether the ideas would be a great improvement for the status quo. Generally in politics, failed social and economic policies are embraced without any regard for the actual costs to the Taxpayers who must fund this horrific form of governance. And in Connecticut, all of that is significantly worse.

In Connecticut, it is evident that corruption runs rampantly and does not seem to end any time soon. It also seems that Republicans involved in corruption seem to get caught at all costs  and Democrats avoid any punishment for their alleged violations, that are brazen in their disregard for the rule of law. But for those on the political side, they really do not care. They see the takings from you accruing to their benefit as allowing them to serve you better. And regardless of your outcry towards this they will do the same thing over and over, provided they get re-elected for the next cycle, which is the sole reason for their "service", you, be damned.

The sordid political history of political corruption in Connecticut goes back decades, to John Mandanici in Bridgeport and John Rowland in the state house, and John Rowland after the state house. But sadly, none of these lessons were learned by subsequent participants. Currently, Bridgeport has a convicted felon serving the city again after jail time and supposed repayment of what he stole from the city, Mayor Joe Ganim. Trying to find evidence that Mayor Joe Ganim repaid the city for his pilfering is virtually nonexistent. That is just the way it is. He will obtain a city taxpayer funded pension if and when he ever retires and also had the audacity to run for Governor of Connecticut. Bridgeport also had/has massive voter fraud that I have written about in the past that in the opinion of many will never be resolved. The closest operating assistant to Mayor Joe Ganim is the Nationally Known Wanda the Ballot Stuffer who has done whatever Mayor Joe Ganim has commanded her to do. The Republican Party is virtually unknown in the city. But all of this is a shrug-your-shoulders accepted way of life in the corrupt Connecticut cesspool.

But why stop there? Connecticut Democrat State Senator Doug McCrory still holds his prominent paid State Senate seat as the corruption he is tied to between  the “Blue Hills Civic Association”, other myriad “nonprofit” organizations, and the should-be-abolished Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development reflect the alleged steering of money to his close associates. The “Blue Hills Civic Association” was poorly run with corrective audit findings being basically disregarded. This failed Democrat-led Association failed to report a $300,000 cyber theft, and over $1,700,000 in funds was apparently funneled to so called “consultants” that are associated with the Democrat State Senator. Absent any cry whatsoever in the political universe for just restitution and the impounding of assets, and appreciative and grateful of an FBI investigation and a Federal Grand Jury, Connecticut taxpayers await eagerly some sort of response as to how and when they will be paid back for this rip-off.

However, the inarguable Gold Standard in Connecticut Corruption is Democrat Governor Ned Lamont and his intrepid sidekick spouse and de-facto Lieutenant Governor Ann H. Lamont. Team Lamont leads the state in unanswered corruption questions. My colleague Tony De Angelo and I have been asking repeatedly for information on the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development dealings and audits as they relate to his family's hedge fund profits and other concerns/affiliations. Also how much did his family's hedge fund profit from Infosys Limited, Digital Currency Group and its affiliates, "ADVANCECT", Boston Consulting Group, UNITE US (CT), Mt. Sinai Genomics, "Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Informatics", "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", "4-CT", and "VillageMD"“The Horsebarn Hill Investment Fund”, McKinsey, “CT Next”, and the Tidal River Fund, to name a few?  Since we know there are Lamont family investments in the state pension, where might they be resident in the “Baby Bonds” portfolio or the UCONN Foundation? What family transactions take place in the secret Cayman Islands where no one can see them? Where are the Governor's tax returns and why hasn't he made them public in this election year or in any year since he has been in office? Why haven't these grey areas been researched as well as the alleged irregularities of former Republican candidate for Governor Mayor Erin Stewart? Is it because this is all planned Connecticut Democrat Political theater to preempt the above-mentioned questions on the Governor? It is evident what former disgraced Republican Governor John Rowland did years back, although entirely wrong, pales in comparison to what the Lamonts have done for years with no political criticism whatsoever.

And hope sprigs eternal! For at least six years, many citizens have hoped that the Connecticut Republican Party would aggressively police and fix any internal failings it may have and champion a full-throttle assault against serial Democrat corruption. But many of these same citizens were shocked and saddened this week when the ostensible champion of the Republican Connecticut Comeback was seen to have a glass jaw and to be totally unready for higher office. Former Republican candidate for Governor Erin Stewart has stepped out of the race for Governor. Many voters are very disappointed in her candidacy and how poorly she handled it. Many voters were amazed at her arrogance, vulgarity, carelessness, flippant attitude, and self-indulgence. Many voters never thought that she had issues with the misuse of city funds and Amazon procurement cards. Questions abound over what happened. Why all of a sudden in an election year, as Stewart was running for Governor, did these alleged problems come about? Wasn't she vetted as a candidate? Why wasn't Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Ben Proto made known of her issues or was he and chose to avoid them at all costs to preserve his legacy? How did her city audits not see any of these problems, but a hired Democrat Mayor's audit uncovered everything? And how was this abusive situation never an issue in any New Britain Mayor's election? What did Democrat Mayor Bobby Sanchez know and why didn't he make this a campaign issue? And how did Erin Stewart not believe these purchases and her partial pension would become campaign issues? It is the same sad, sordid, sick, and abusive situation regardless of political party in Connecticut. In private industry, firings would be automatic and departments would be eliminated. In Connecticut, pensions are preserved and rewarded at all costs to Taxpayers, and abusive politicians are anointed as “victims,” deserving of a reinstatement to office so that they can do it all over again.

But now due to the reach of social media, radio, online newspapers, and blogs, truthful information is finally circulating where the humble citizen of Connecticut is realizing that he or she has been screwed and tattooed by the formerly imperious political class. And the game is indeed over. Both parties really need to come clean in this election. Voters are fast realizing that Connecticut's Democrat elected officials have a great deal of baggage and corruption that they are embracing. It is time call all of them out from the Murphy/Blumenthal Comedy Hour, to the ranting and raving incoherent gibberish of a very old Rosa DeLauro, to the Connecticut Republican Party never being serious and focused about getting the delusional Rosa out of office, to the never ending/hidden corruption of the Ned Lamont Administration and the cesspool of supposed Republican Party leadership that could end up costing the party even greater losses in November.  Connecticut has a putrefied government and political party system in which voters can see this rot much more clearly in this election than ever before.

If there ever could be a vote of no confidence in Connecticut's government, it is happening now and will not stop until this political septic tank in finally pumped out once and for all. Once again, God save the once-Great State Of Connecticut.

Is An “Election” A Mythological Term In Connecticut?

Since we had such a fun time in last week’s Chris Murphy article using definitions of terms, I decided to start in like manner this week.

1)  ELECTION: An election is a formal group decision-making process whereby a population or group freely votes to choose an individual or multiple individuals to hold public office or other position of responsibility.

2)  CANDIDATE: A candidate is a person who petitions to run for public office.

3)  POLITICAL PARTY: A political party is an organization that coordinates candidates to compete in elections and participate in governance. It is common for the members of a party to coalesce around similar ideas about politics, and parties may promote specific ideological or policy goals.

4)  REPRESENTATIVE: A representative is a person chosen to speak or act on behalf of others, especially in government.

5)  DISENFRANCHISEMENT: Disenfranchisement means taking away someone’s right to vote or making it very hard for them to vote. This can happen in many ways including voter discouragement, where people are not directly blocked from voting but are pushed not to vote by removing their input and opinion from the process.

6)  43% OF CONNECTICUT VOTERS THAT VOTED FOR TRUMP IN 2024:  Cannot relate to any number above, (but for 5)

In review of just several of the horrors of this past month concerning elections and the conduct of those in political high places this week, I am forced to wonder: Does voting and elections matter anymore in Connecticut? Many wonder if their votes even count any more in Connecticut in any type of election given the mass amount of deception, fraud and lies that Connecticut Taxpayers are force fed daily. This upcoming state election is yet another case in point as over 43% of the voting public wonder if anyone will ever represent them and not even caring what their feelings and sentiments may be. Unbelievably, not everyone in Connecticut agrees with Omnipotent One-Party Socialist Democrat Party diatribes and jeremiads that are blabbered on a daily basis over the should-be starved out state run and paid for media channels. Many people turn off such drivel and are searching for vision, boldness, and aggressiveness heretofore unseen in the land of the established Connecticut political system.

And in the words of the late ABC Sportscaster Howard Cosell, this, is a sick scene, that speaks for itself.

We were once told that Connecticut Governor King Ned Lamont The Unaccountable was both beloved and un-defeatable. However, reality has this nasty habit of being (well), real, and this reality is finally catching up to The Unaccountable. We now see storm clouds brewing over what was once the Lamont Sea of tranquility as The Unaccountable is doing everything he can to appease the radical left that the Connecticut Democrat Party has transformed into in addition to protecting his wife's cash flow into their Oak HC/FT hedge fund place in state-connected business and pension assets. Crossing over, the Republican Party front runner against Lamont, Mayor Erin Stewart is imploding with new revelations of her Administration and questionable dealing with both back dated taxes and her boorish ad entitled request for a partial pension for 14 years of service to the city of New Britain (https://ctmirror.org/2026/04/30/ct-erin-stewart-mayor-pension-benefit/). Many workers in Connecticut in that 43% block have worked for many years with NO PENSIONS after any number of years and have to deal with it.  Many workers in Connecticut in that 43% block continue to question why Connecticut state workers and elected officials are so deserving of massive pensions for their work? Meanwhile, many workers in Connecticut in that 43% bloc are fast concluding that elected officials view them only as a means to fatten their wallets and to bankroll their farcical conduct while masquerading in something called “representative government”.

But perhaps there is hope after all! Providing a breath of fresh air to the Republican race is former New York Lieutenant Governor Betsy McCaughey and her no-nonsense approach to resolving Connecticut's never-ending problems. In true Connecticut politics fashion, McCaughey, a conservative, is being unapologetically shut out by the party's hierarchy https://x.com/ct_unite/status/2049316754514411701?s=20. Moreover, the Connecticut GOP is so inexplicably impotent that it refuses to capitalize on the national dismembering of Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro by EPA Secretary Lee Zeldin this past week https://x.com/epaleezeldin/status/2048895480151593427?s=20. But due to this ostensible lack of enthusiasm for the party, the outlying problem in the upcoming election is once again a lack of Republican candidates to run against the entrenched Democrat candidates in the State House and State Senate. Several non-Republican Party individuals have geared up to get candidates to run in these open seats. To many this should have been the first priority of the party right after their crushing state losses in 2024. The weakness and cowardice resonates as the call for a full investigation into Ned Lamont's financial streams and for a full disclosure of his income tax statements has never been made by Connecticut Republicans. We still have no answers to dealings with  "Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Infomatics", “Centrellis”. "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", and "VillageMD",  the Lamont-related Cayman Island partnerships, large Cayman Islands deals such as the "Horsebarn Hill Investment Fund" hiding in the UCONN Foundation,  and other deals working through “quasi-public” organizations such as Lamont-connected (and covert) “Connecticut Innovations”. No Republican candidate for his office ever raises these issues, which have all been documented since Tony De Angelo broke the stories of Sema4 and Digital Currency Group several years back. Why is this continuing to be hidden? And why are the Republicans so silent about it? Can these inroads be more entrenched than what we may have imagined previously?

Through  it all, Connecticut's problems have not cleared up in any way, shape, or form. Connecticut still has massive short- and long-term debt between 100 and 150 Billion dollars, an illegal immigrant problem, a massive crime problem, a huge corruption problem, a horrific illegal drug problem, an infrastructure problem, a gross incompetency problem in the Great Connecticut Administrative State,  and a critical crisis in the ethics, honesty, information sharing, and transparency of its state government, all of which are funded by Connecticut taxpayers.  Connecticut has one of the highest tax rates in the country, one of the highest electric rates in the country and one of the most toxic business climates in the country. These are all Republican campaign platforms that this state party should be about on a minute-by-minute basis.

Connecticut therefore needs a leader in the mold of a President Trump. Someone who is willing to make real decisions to improve the state in a variety of ways; economically, ethically, and socially. A leader who will reverse the down arrow. A leader who must confront the evil empire that the Connecticut's political system on both sides of the aisle has developed into. The Connecticut Republican Party and the remaining RINO's therein also need to be held accountable. Why do we not see filibusters and walking out on votes of 1000 page bills delivered 30 minutes prior to vote? This would be a start. Good old 1960’s tactics like sit-ins and pickets work wonders. How about bringing lawsuits against these putrid bills? This should be the norm. Tying up illegal and unconstitutional laws in courts for years to come is also essential. Given the horrific state of Connecticut's corrupted state government, this election should be an overwhelming victory for the Connecticut Republican Party and not the confusing morass we are witnessing.

Can anyone step up to this challenge and actually take back Connecticut to the once great state that it was? Or is it doomed to be a cesspool of socialist bombast and grandiloquence, turning the state into a permanent sewer of economic and social failure? Meanwhile, 43% of the state is crying for their voice. I respectfully ask the Republican Party not to blow this opportunity to connect with these folks, just like they have blown every opportunity hand-delivered to them previously. The future of Connecticut and all citizens born and unborn, depends on it.

An Ode To 2025

Depending on which side you are on politically, socially, and even morally, 2025 was either the best of times or the worst of times.

To me, it is beyond clear that the first year of President Trump's second administration has been a vibrant and energizing time for much of our country. His actions, reactions, and forceful leadership are making major inroads to many of our Nation's ills. President Trump has attacked illegal immigration by closing our borders, arresting criminal aliens, and deporting them. We are looking at energy independence once again, while energy prices in many areas have gone down dramatically. Economically, we are seeing lower taxes for both individuals and businesses, while the President wants our country to become self-sufficient and produce more goods domestically. This new production helps to create new jobs and economic stimulation for our economy. Crime is falling, especially in Washington, D.C. The President is attacking the illegal drug problem head-on with positive results. Law and the rule of order have become priorities, not some fantasy. Internationally, President Trump helped to negotiate a Gaza ceasefire while getting higher defense spending from NATO nations. America is respected once again and there is hope for a new Golden Age.

But sadly, there are a number of Trump-deranged brain addled people that see these positive developments through an entirely different lens. To them, the first year of President Trump’s second administration has been deeply divisive and destabilizing for much of the country. They will say that his impulsive actions, erratic reactions, and confrontational style have exacerbated many of our Nation’s long-standing problems rather than solving them. They will say that his immigration policies have focused on harsh enforcement, family separation, and mass deportations that critics argue undermine human rights and America’s historical role as a nation of immigrants. They will claim that the Trump energy independence policy favoring fossil fuel interests will threaten long-term climate stability and be the death of us all, even as energy costs remain volatile for many households. They will claim that the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” of 2025 only favors corporations and the wealthy regardless of the extremely favorable law changes for modest citizens. They will claim the cities were safe and the Mexican border was secure under Alejandro Mayorkas and Joe Biden, and all should have been left alone. They will claim assaults on narco-terrorists are an unjustified attack on the innocent and the vulnerable. On the international stage, while the administration points to a Gaza ceasefire and increased NATO defense spending as victories, these poor souls will argue that America’s global standing has suffered due to damaged alliances, transactional diplomacy, and diminished moral leadership. They also view the horrific surgical mutilation of children as a human right that should be taxpayer-supported. What is astounding is that these naïve and often deranged individuals cannot grasp the economic, social, and physical destruction that would happen to them and the country if any of their irrational policy concepts were put into effect for any period of time. If this happened, the country would simply accelerate into chaos and upheaval.

Given this additional obstacle of the deranged and the deluded in the United States of America, President Trump and his administration have much more work to do over the next three years in addition to continuing to daily fight the incoherent Democrat Party, non-elected activist judges, and a media who despises all things Trump. It is truly beyond comical to watch some days. Can one imagine how far we could grow as a country, economy and world if President Trump was actually allowed to govern without both hands tied behind his back? What would happen if all of the Democrat outbursts, tantrums, lawsuits, and incoherent gibberish spewed finally stopped, and they actually offered something other than their same failed liberal, socialistic destructive programs and policies that have done little, if anything, to solve the problems in our country? Do we all live in the same country? Because in 2025, it does not seem that way.

And then, 2025 brought about the phenomenon of the recalcitrant Blue state, which zags every time the Presidential administration zigs. One of the biggest examples of this pathetic social and economic regression is Connecticut, as it continued its accelerated decline in 2025. An arrogant and omnipotent ruling Connecticut Democrat Party controlling all state and national offices daily accelerate the economic and social ruin of the state. Elected officials such as U.S. Senator Chris Murphy, U.S. Representative Rosa DeLauro, and Attorney General William Tong cannot hate President Trump and things Republican enough for their daily shows of anger. These individuals and others from Connecticut's Democrat Party communicate daily in front of an obedient, state-run and paid media with their disjointed, garbled, muddled, and unclear statements and non-solutions to the disasters of the state. The state is a bottom feeder economically, with high taxes on a local and state level, a poor economic climate hosting a mere $100 to $150 billion dollars in short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities. Yet "gender affirming care" and horrific child mutilation is the priority of these fools who feel that they are superior to those people they supposedly represent.

Perhaps there is hope on the horizon with an election for Governor upcoming in 2026 that will feature Governor Ned Lamont against, someone. But will that special "someone" finally attack and root out the sickening Lamont and other state corruption that has become a state hallmark? Given the progress to date on this front for years by the State GOP, one cannot be hopeful. Many including myself have written about the lies, fallacies, and theft of the Lamont administration with little result other than a global awareness that many things are horribly amiss. Connecticut taxpayers still do not have any answers with the 2020 COVID-19 debacle, the suspect business in the secret REOPEN-CT Committee meeting in the super-secret ADVANCE CT, Ned Lamont's family hedge fund (Oak HC/FT Partners), investments in Rapyd, a global fintech-as-a-service provider, and Unqork, both having documented common-investment ties to "Infosys." Nor are any answers forthcoming from associated companies relating to the COVID-19 crisis that include "Thermo Fisher Scientific," "Sema4," "Core Informatics," “Centrellis,” "Ocrulus," "Urjanet," "1Life Healthcare," "Galileo Health," "Castlight Health," "Paladina Health," and "VillageMD," to name several. Nor are there ever any answers to the questions concerning the Lamont-related Cayman Islands partnerships, large Cayman Islands deals such as the "Horesebarn Hill Investment Fund" hiding in the UCONN Foundation, and other incoherent economic deals working through “quasi-public” organizations such as the now-clearly Lamont-connected (and covert) “Connecticut Innovations.” It is all a compounded lack of transparency by Ned and company. Perhaps I am in error. Will this be the year that these subjects be throttled upon in the upcoming Governor's race? I can truthfully say that if they are not, the status quo will continue without any resolution whatsoever. This result is totally unacceptable to any law-abiding, right-thinking, decent and taxpaying citizen in the state.

As 2025 draws to a final close, I am optimistic on the direction of our country, but not so for Connecticut. Many are very thankful that we have President Trump, not a President Biden or Harris. Many want a new "real" Governor for Connecticut, not more of the scams, schemes, and “beardings” of the Ned Lamont gang. We still live in the greatest country in the world, contrary to what some misguided individuals want us to believe. We can and will overcome the internal and external forces that wish to destroy our states and country with a failed socialist and communist agenda. We can become self-sufficient in our economy and provide upward economic mobility for all, not just the elite political ruling class that continues to stifle all viewpoints that they do not agree with.

God Bless America today and every day. Happy New Year to all. And let us work and pray that things finally (finally) change, in Connecticut in 2026.

The State of Connecticut Has A Much Bigger Problem Than Crime And Incompetency

The State of Connecticut Has A Crime Problem: Auto thefts surged by 33% in 2023 alone, jumping from 7,091 reported incidents in 2022 to a staggering 9,400, marking the third-highest percentage increase nationwide and leaving countless residents vulnerable to brazen juvenile offenders who often face minimal consequences. Persistent strings of car break-ins and thefts in 2025 continue to terrorize communities from Montville to Fairfield, underscoring a systemic failure to curb property crimes that erode public trust and safety. Almost every Connecticut city is a horrific and mismanaged hellhole.

However, the gist of this article is not crime.

The State of Connecticut Has A Competency Problem: Unhinged Liberal Incompetent Scraggly Bearded United States Senator Chris Murphy makes a fool of himself moment by moment on “X” with his repetitive nonsensical babbling reflecting his entire lack of conceptual understanding of any issue but also reflecting a crystal-clear hatred of President Donald J. Trump. Congressional Representative Rosa DeLauro, one of the oldest in Congress at age 82, is embarrassing in appearance and a babbling shame, shunning any suggestions of improvement or developmental vision for her pitiful Congressional district. Senior United States Combat Veteran Senator Richard Blumenthal lied about serving in Vietnam and lied about “not knowing” that he was addressing a Communist convention in 2021. Attorney General William Tong in his furious defense of illegal alien rights, called for a boycott of “Avelo Airlines” in New Haven, either not knowing (or caring) that the fiscally incompetent state Comptroller Sean Scanlon engineered the Avelo arrangement for the inadequate Tweed New Haven Airport campus, residential safety and noise pollution be damned. And not to be undone, Governor Ned Lamont (affectionately known as “King Ned, The Unaccountable”)  continues to move from fraud to scam, the latest being to corrupt the entire state with a new generation of incipient slum housing that helps along one of his wife’s investments, while he is trying to convince his wealthy neighbors in Greenwich that he has everyone’s best interests at heart.

However, the gist of this article is not political incompetency.

Connecticut has many more problems too numerous to mention. But I submit unto you that Connecticut, (aka the State That Cannot Do One Thing Right) has a far greater problem than either of the above problems. It is horrible. It is insidious. It is crippling. It can send the state into bankruptcy and erode private capital and destroy any viability in the state whatsoever.

It is the Debt Problem.

Regardless of what the state-run media and the political system tell you, The State of Connecticut has a debt problem.  There is now an awareness and understanding of the debt and how much debt Connecticut is obligated to pay. Using real numbers, let us examine how much in debt Connecticut is in, and why this should be the number one issue in the upcoming state election in 2026.

To my knowledge, I am the only writer or reporter that has mentioned Connecticut has $100,000,000,000 to $150,000,000,000 (billion) dollars in short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities. Certainly, no candidate or office holder has ever mentioned anything along the line. For a state as small as Connecticut and as small of a population that it has, this is a massive fiscal red flag. But it is not, as the Connecticut Democrat Party just cannot seem to tax and spend enough to satisfy its political special interest groups such as the state employee unions, myriad and unaccountable nonprofits, and politically connected state patronage jobs over the past four decades.

Here are some real fiscal facts that the entire political establishment avoids talking about as published in "The Financial State of the States 2024" report published by Truth in Accounting (https://www.truthinaccounting.org/library/doclib/Financial-State-of-the-States-2024.pdf). Connecticut in this report was given a "F" grade, ranking the state fifty out of 50 (or last) as far as its financial state of affairs. From the report found on pages 50 and 51, "Connecticut had $21 billion available to pay $85.9 billion worth of bills". This figure will increase in 2025 as some federal funding will no longer be available to the state.

Trying to break down the $85.9 billion dollars’ worth of bills in complex and difficult to ascertain. Connecticut in each year's budget, which increases each year, also increases its bonding and borrowing within. Bonds are issued in the state for many reasons including building projects and other related items in the state. Bonds are issued to finance "debt" in the state. Total bonds in the state for 2024 were $34,355,859,000 according to the report. Also according to the report, Unfunded Pension Benefits were $38,010,340,000 and Unfunded Retiree Health Care Benefits were $17,091,549,000. In simple terms, this means every Connecticut citizen down to the smallest infant minimally shoulders a $25,000 debt of the state for which they did not cause. These figures are astronomical for a state as small as Connecticut and unsustainable in any way. Moreover, this massive obligation is more than the supposed "fiscal guardrails" that continue to be ignored by Connecticut's Political Fiscal Barons for what little value they provide. But more clear-headed people are seeing this horrific situation for what it is. My good friend and colleague Tony De Angelo also discussed Connecticut's per person state debt is his segment on Tuesday 9/2 on the 94.9 Lee Elci show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rJCaC5DusE)

The state therefore has a massive debt problem. It also does not have enough assets to cover all its debt. The Connecticut Democrat Party laughs about (or fails to comprehend) the debt issue by its usual incoherent economic gibberish. This incoherent economic gibberish includes the usual babblings that the wealthy do not pay enough in taxes, businesses do not pay enough in taxes, there are not enough social programs to help people, more funding is needed in education and that state workers deserve much higher wages and benefits. Economic reality does not exist in the state as Connecticut continues to be a bottom five state in many economic categories. This fact is glossed over by the new, younger incoherent leftist and socialist Democrat candidates that have announced their intentions to run Governor, United States House seats and state legislature seats. Where the money will come from to pay for all their "giveaways" remains a mystery to most educated voters, but not to them as they simply do not understand, let alone care.

It is a simplistic question that truly needs to be addressed by anyone running for Governor, on any ticket in 2026. Republicans that have continually failed to challenge Democrats on many  issues must first learn to understand this most critical debt issue and secondly challenge Democrats and Socialists continually. What is your plan for paying off the massive debt and unfunded liabilities of Connecticut's government in both the short and long run? What does the plan entail? How long will it take? What will you do to decrease state spending? What will you do to whittle the bulbous and often inept state workforce? These questions should be asked daily until there are specific answers to the same. But I am not confident that will ever happen, as courage is in short supply in Connecticut government.

You see, Connecticut's state government is like a drug addict. To feed the drug monkey an addict often lies and steals. It keeps taking drugs at all costs, looking for its next fix. That fix is your tax money wasted on another failed social program and or non-profit who could be pilfering as there are no financial controls on either. That fix is a long-serving state politician getting a simplistic state nonjob to help boost his or her state pension. That fix is to give money to a politically connected business or individual for their work in a campaign, with no worries as to how the money is spent and if it is ever paid back.

And so, it remains in the indentured state of fiscally insolvent Connecticut. Connecticut Taxpayers are damned while the benefaction and veneration of the State's Political and Administrative Bureaucracy is the most critical work that our state government must perform. So let the state perform that critically valuable work all the way into bankruptcy. Regrettably, bankruptcy may be the only cure to eliminate the waste, fraud, crime, incompetency, and debt of Connecticut, once and for all.

Why Taxpayers Have Stopped Believing In The Government

Why have Taxpayers stopped believing in what the federal government says? There are many reasons including the years of economic and social misery of the Biden Administration foisted upon the public. Perhaps such mistrust is rooted in a 1,547-page United States “stop gap” budget bill that was to keep the country operating until March 2025. Included in that unread bill was all sorts of "pork"-related funding that would help to keep our National Debt at over $36.2 trillion dollars and growing by the second or a mere $271,790 owed per American Taxpayer. But ignorant taxpayer who are you? You are not supposed to question line items in that bill such as "essential" "funding of $8 billion for a new football stadium in Washington, D.C., $50 million to be spent annually for an extended drinking water program, five years' worth of funding for a healthcare education program, a re-authorization of the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Act, the manufacture of more dangerous and exploding electric buses for the continued satisfaction of Kamala Harris, and a future pay raise for members of Congress" (https://www.thecentersquare.com/national/article_f86669c0-bd72-11ef-8ec1-6b8ff665afb6.html). You are also not to question "a one-year extension of the State Department’s Global Engagement Center, which funded an advertisers’ “blacklist” of The New York Post and other outlets to purportedly crack down on “misinformation.”(https://nypost.com/2024/12/18/us-news/musk-and-ramaswamy-press-house-gop-to-kill-federal-funding-bill-ever-seen-a-bigger-piece-of-pork/).

I am curious if any of the United States Representatives in Connecticut bothered to read any part of this 1,547-page bill loaded with payouts and payoffs? Of course not, and Taxpayers know it does not work this way. As just one horrific example of the putrid state of government, we watched an embarrassing and unhinged Connecticut United States Representative Democrat/Socialist Rosa DeLauro storm to the speaker’s podium on December 19 and rant the following: “Yesterday a multi-billionaire, with apparently no working knowledge of government or of appropriations — a self-appointed president of the United States, Elon Musk — issued a marching order for House Republicans to go against their own elected leadership and shut down the government,” (https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2024/12/19/congress/government-shutdown-house-vote-00195479). It is ironic that DeLauro, whose net worth is well over $20 million dollars, is jealous of Elon Musk's wealth given that in her 34-plus years in Congress she has done little actually "representing" the people of her district. It is ironic that one who has made her living being bought by the whims of monied people was now shrieking about a monied person espousing a contrary view to her own. One could not help but laugh at her speech, purple hair, and statements this week on the floor of Congress that were carried to millions on “X”. This is an excellent example of why Taxpayers stopped believing what their government says. In fact, if I were writing a dictionary of terms, I would not attempt to define “mistrust of government”, but rather would just insert a video of this horrific and embarrassing spectacle in its place. It really was that wretched of a performance, shameful even for the State of Connecticut.

Why have Taxpayers stopped believing what their state government says especially in such Democrat led states like Connecticut? There are many reasons. King Governor Ned Lamont The Unaccountable has been the beneficiary of a masterwork in the utilization of millions of state tax dollars to craft stories obfuscating any mention of his continual pattern of leveraging state resources and funding for the benefit of his wife's hedge fund Oak HC/FT through numerous, questionable deals, no bid contracts, and specious transactions. [I have written numerous times about the Lamont associated companies relating to the Covid-19 crisis include "Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Infomatics", "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", and "VillageMD" to name some that have found a way to deal with state-connected entities). But the state is also a great business bank to the Lamont family as well. My good friend and colleague Tony De Angelo first broke the real facts of the $15,000,000, 2% (two percent) “disappearing sweetheart” Connecticut loan to Lamont-family connected Sema-4 using state investments with no collateral or guarantee of repayment on his weekly segment on the Lee Elci radio program 94.9FM, along with the $5 million dollars directed to Lamont family-connected Digital Currency Group to (in theory) "move" 300 jobs to Stamford, CT. But if you did nothing other than watch local state-run media, you would be told that The Unaccountable is the economic, health and well-being, and governance Champion of the state. You will be told that The Unaccountable is "the most popular governor in the country", "saved us all from dying of Covid" and "single-handedly engineered the "Connecticut Comeback". You will never be told that The Unaccountable’s wife’s partnership holds multi-million-dollar capital investments in the Cayman Islands (or more accurately, the secret, tax-free haven, anti-abortion and anti-gay marriage Cayman Islands). But why do you need to know that? Its contrary to the narrative about The Unaccountable. The narrative costs millions of dollars to prop up by means of fictional stories. You are sinful and a conspiracy theorist if you do not believe it! This is why citizens who are the least bit sane have absolutely no trust in the Connecticut government anymore. (Why should they?)

However, the parade of Connecticut mistrust is long and wide. Decent mortgage and taxpaying homeowners battle with un-elected imperious bureaucrats and inane and delusional legislators pressuring local towns and cities to cede control of local zoning laws for the sake of "affordable" housing and "public" transportation, all for the sake of “the public good”. Or, how about the Connecticut comptroller's college system audit reveals 'systematic' misuse of state funds where the perpetrators are encouraged to stay on the job rather than be prosecuted? Democrat Comptroller Sean Scanlon wanders in water over his head with the problems that have been exposed with this audit. However, he gladly follows the Connecticut Democrat Party narrative of expressing surprise at the corruption and vows to address it even though the problems have been known for many months. But let's not stop there. How about the highest electric rates in the country thanks to an incoherent Democrat "green" energy manifesto? Connecticut still has $150 billion dollars in short- and long-term debt and unfunded liabilities. It is a bottom feeder state with high taxes, poor infrastructure, horrible reputation, economically incoherent state union labor agreements, legislative Communist aspirants in-training, high crime, theft and murders, rampant illegal drug trafficking, state-enabled drug abuse, and a lack of any ethics or accountability from its Governor's office. But turn to state-run television and print media! You will be reassured that never happens in Connecticut and the Lamont cash trough is the blueprint for all Democrat elected officials. And you will never hear one word of any of these mentioned. Its just more in a myriad of reasons that Connecticut taxpayers cannot and do not trust their government anymore. (How could they?)

Why have Taxpayers stopped believing what their local government says especially in Democrat led cities such as Bridgeport, Connecticut? There are many reasons. Take Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim as one. After being convicted of racketeering, extortion, and other crimes and serving prison time, Marse Joe gets elected back into office. He spent seven years in prison beginning in 2003 before he was voted back as Mayor of Bridgeport in 2015. His current legacy is the total corruption of the election process following the findings of voter and ballot fraud by loyal Democrat official Wanda Geter-Pataky on several occasions in at least several elections. In real terms your vote really does not count in Bridgeport nor can a functional two-party system exist in the city given the corruption of elections. Nor do they care. The establishment of Bridgeport, CT will see to that. This is why the citizens of Bridgeport do not trust their government anymore. (Why should they?)

So why have Taxpayers stopped believing what their government says? They have stopped for many reasons, and many more than I have mentioned above. We as Taxpayers are tired of the incoherent gibberish that we are force fed daily by the state-run media and our supposedly "elected" officials along with their elitist non-elected political appointees. They lie to us, wanting us to somehow transcend and transform their lies as truths and know truths to be lies. And their experiment has failed miserably for years as your state tax dollars go to continually prop us this farcical Uniparty of media and government. Taxpayer, once again, be damned.

Why Can't Poor People Feel Safe In Democrat Controlled Crime Infested Connecticut Cities?

Does anyone think that poor people who live in the most crime infested cities in Connecticut feel safe?  I am talking about those people who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled that are forced to live in the crime driven cities of Bridgeport, Hartford and or New Haven.  I am not talking about the illegal drug dealers, slum lords and or criminals that walk freely and are never prosecuted for their crimes in these same streets.  Three cities that are all led by the Democrat Party and three cities that have received massive bailouts over the years financed by Connecticut Taxpayers.  What really has this never ending Democrat one party rule help provide them?  Massive crime?  Massive illegal drug dealing, illegal drug use and drug overdoses too numerous to mention?  The same inhumane living conditions that have been part of these cities since the 1970's?  Failing schools where students are pushed through grades to be promoted even though they can not master basic reading and writing skills?  I really wonder sometimes why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to inflict these substandard and horrific living conditions on these poor people while they live in their sheltered police protected worlds of gated homes and communities.  While those who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled, must live a lawless inferno of crime, drugs and murders in these same cities, and fear for their lives daily.

However I still know Connecticut citizens who have lived and worked their entire lives in these cities and still somehow believe in their cities and are still living and working there.  I also know many who have fled to much safer places both in and out of Connecticut.  Having taught at an inner city Community College in New Haven for many years I saw a general decline first hand in the city.   I also had many minority students ask me for career advice so that they could get out of the slums of their city and lead a better life.  For many years on the first two nights of class I would bring in notebooks, paper, binders and supplies to give out to the students and I would never come home with anything left.  On the last night of class I would lecture my students as to never being broke, to depend on themselves to be successful and at the end of the lecture I would give them Presidential dollar coins for both themselves and children/grandchildren (if they had any) telling them that they can and will succeed in life and never be broke.   I tried to help them as best I could as I could see the helplessness on many of their faces.  I did have several students in these classes become great success stories in that they were able to graduate from college, have a successful career and raise their loving families.  Many left the cities they were born in.  They left the dysfunctional,  debilitated and politically poisoned cities of their youth knowing these cities are not getting better any time soon.    Also I am saddened to know that many of my students could not handle college and quit, failed and or dropped out.  I can never forget one of the last times I left my night class from that same inner city Community College in New Haven while I was going to my car (I no longer teach there), I was shocked.  I saw the waste of a city with homeless people on the sidewalks, being asked for money by panhandlers and individuals who in my opinion needed psychological help.  To me it was both sad and pathetic.  Why did it get this bad?

Why have these cities descended into this cesspool of crime forcing those people who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled that are forced to live there fearing for their lives daily?  I am fascinated by the Democrat multi-millionaire politicians who rule Connecticut such as Ned Lamont, Richard Blumethal and Rosa DeLauro and have been in power for years really could care less for these poor people.  Because if they really cared they would be advocates of enforcing criminal laws and prosecuting criminals, supporting the police forces of these communities not de-funding them, eliminating illegal drugs flowing into those cities by cartels who now roam free at our borders by closing our borders, and getting people essential psychological help who now are allowed to live in squalor on the streets rather than micromanaging Covid-19 for their own financial and political benefit.  It is pathetic.

Changes are essential in Connecticut's large crime infested cities.  People who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled that are forced to live in these same cities deserve the same freedom from crime that our Democrat multi-millionaire politicians who rule Connecticut such as Ned Lamont, Richard Blumethal and Rosa DeLauro enjoy in their gated security based compounds.  Again crime, murder, and illegal drug use should not be the norm and an inherent part of people lives who live in the cities.  That is why we used to have a legal system to address crime, murder and illegal drugs but in 2022 we apparently no longer have this luxury in the state.  Somehow in theory liberalism eliminated all these bad things in our cities while in reality liberalism has only made it worse.

I think many people are fed up with these ruthless violations of both their personal freedoms and safety that happen on a daily basis.  They want answers not more lies being force fed them daily by elitist politicians who have little perception of reality.  They want a chance at a better life. Why can't they have it?  Why are they suppressed and always conquered by carpetbagging politicians?

And it is 1776 all over again.

$600 Take It Or Leave It-Do You Understand?

$600 Take It Or Leave It-Do You Understand?

Take it or leave it peasants.  Political waste, fraud and a classic view of our government swamp was on full display with one of most brazen rapes of American Taxpayers shown with over 5,600 pages of pork in the guise of “stimulus” and “Covid-19 relief”. The bill if one could actually read it or be allowed to read and digest it shows the waste of Taxpayers monies found in it and also shows the total disrespect the Democrat Party along with many RINO’s in Congress has for the American public in general.  It is corruption at its worse.
Why so much pork for foreign countries now while many Americans are on the verge of bankruptcy?  $600 is the bribe for Americans from this bill.
The following is just a sampling of what has been found in the bill:
The National Art Gallery $154,000,000.
The Smithsonian $1,000,000,000.
The Kennedy Center $40,000,000.
The Ukraine $453,000,000
Pakistan $25,000,000 ($10,000,000 for gender identity)
Egypt $1,300,000.
Cambodia $85,000,000. (didn’t we fight a war there?)
Asia RIA $1,400,000,000. (I can’t find out what this actually is or what it is for?)
$2,500,000 to count the number of amberjack fish in the Gulf of Mexico.
Illegal Aliens can receive up to $1800 also in this bill.
The list of waste in this bill is endless.  And on and on it goes.
$2 trillion dollars ($2,000,000,000,000) basically wasted on nothing to do with Covid-19 nor stimulus except for those who are politically connected.
And Democrats are actually defending this bill as written.  It is sickening that this bill would even be passed.  It is an insult to the American public and the American Taxpayer.  The political swamp that created this bill in Washington is alive and well.  And the public be damned.  $600 take or leave it.  Why don’t you understand?  Our corrupt and unethical government has once again failed us.  Why are we paying taxes for to support this sham?

Did You Know There Was An Election In November In Connecticut's Third Congressional District?

I bet you did not realize there was an election going on in Connecticut's Third Congressional District?  This district has been represented for too long by avowed socialist/ultra liberal Democrat Rosa DeLauro.  She has been in office for a mere 29 years since 1991 and is now 77 years old.  I truly do not know what she has done for our district other than tow the Connecticut Democrat Party line in Washington bringing little of value to our district while usually condemning any ideas brought forth by the Republican Party especially during the Trump Administration just as she did during the Bush Administrations.  What I find ironic about DeLauro is that she recently wrote a long winded piece on why it was ok to remove the Christopher Columbus statue out of Wooster Square in New Haven.  After reading her rhetoric on this subject I truly wonder why any Italian-American voter in the Third Congressional District would want to vote for her again?  But then again DeLauro toes the party line day in and day out with no results whatsoever for the legal citizens of Connecticut's Third Congressional District.  I guess that is the power of her stale incumbency here in Connecticut.
This election we see a powerful challenger to her. Milford Businesswoman Margaret Streicker is running a strong campaign to unseat DeLauro in 2020.  She has been very active in her campaigning and fund raising which I am sure is raising eyebrows in the staic and politically correct DeLauro campaign.
I am still wondering what DeLauro has done for her district over the past thirty years?
I really can not see anything and I truly wonder why she is still in office?
Margaret Streicker represents a breath of fresh air to Connecticut's Third Congressional District.  She stated on her website recently:  (https://streicker2020.com/priorities)
"Connecticut pays the 4th highest property taxes and 2nd highest combined sales and income taxes in the nation and we are getting less and less for it. It’s time to reverse the trend of skyrocketing taxes and lower them to allow hard-working families to stay in the neighborhoods we all know and love."
And DeLauro in my opinion really never makes any statements whatsoever about either the massive taxes we pay in her district nor any type of tax relief in her thirty years in office.  One can also argue that there has been no improvements either in the quality of life in New Haven and or the Third Congressional District since her first term.  For example, "Obamacare" has driven health insurance costs through the roof and has done nothing to improve health care in our district.  Also I really wonder how long our economic recession has to continue in Connecticut's Third Congressional District.  It has been a mere thirty years now.
We need a major change in the people who represent us in Connecticut for Congress.  Rosa DeLauro's time has passed and she needs to get out of office.  I know that my family and friends will be voting for Republican Margaret Streicker for Connecticut's Third Congressional District.   The time is now for a change.  Connecticut's Third Congressional District can not afford another two years of the failed policies of our current Representative.  Enough is enough.
