Government Is The New Theater-A Bad Movie That You Are Forced To Watch

I have come to the conclusion that our government at all levels is our new theater.  It has replaced the works of writers and real actors who provided us with drama, mysteries, comedies and the like  years ago.  For our government today represents today a bad movie we can never get out of our head nor really want to watch any more.  But we are forced to watch it every day 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  It is the new entertainment.  It is the show of all shows providing millions of legal Americans a glimpse of how far we have fallen as a society and as a country since our inception and formation in 1776.  It shows how inept our elected officials have become.  It shows how corrupted our elected officials have become.  It shows how selfish our elected officials have become.  It shows how economically illiterate our elected officials have become.  It shows how and why our elected officials want to strip us of our personal freedoms. It shows how our elected officials have become relentless in their quest to turn America into a new and failed Socialist and Communist state.

Whatever the crisis the bad government theater has a new script, a new drama, a new quest to hurt America and its citizens.  Just look at the never ending Covid-19 crisis. Just look at the never ending deaths from drug overdoses crisis.  Just look at the never ending illegal immigration crisis.  Just look at the never ending human trafficking crisis.  Just look at the never ending abortion crisis.  Just look at the never ending children being murdered in school crisis. Just look at the never ending supply chain crisis.  Just look at the never ending young people suicide crisis.  Just look at the never ending crime crisis.  Just look at the never ending corrupted elected officials crisis.  Just look at the never ending politically correct crisis.  Just look at the never ending BLM/race/critical race theory crisis.  Just look at the never ending not enough spending on social welfare programs crisis.  Just look at the never ending jobs crisis.  Just look at the never ending housing crisis.  Just look at the never ending gender change crisis.  Just look at the never ending climate change crisis.  Just look at the never ending corrupted local government crisis.  Just look at the never ending corrupted state government crisis. Just look at the never ending gun crisis.  Just look at the never ending tax crisis.  Just look at the never ending education crisis. Crisis, catastrophe, emergency, disaster, calamity.  Pick one and act, create a theater of the absurd, a theater of pain and suffering, a theater of false promises and lies, a theater where right is wrong and lies are truth.  And preach it every day 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

America and Connecticut has superb actors and actresses that parade as our elected officials.  Watching Joe Biden,  Nancy Pelosi, Ned Lamont, Richard Blumenthal, Chris Murphy and others act daily is truly laughable.  Over 150 years plus of "government" experience has helped to bring both Connecticut and our country to the point of economic ruin, the destruction of our young children, the destruction of the middle class and most importantly the destruction of most personal freedoms in our lives.

Government should have the best and the brightest of a society in it.  It should have people from all walks of life and ideologies in it.  It should be concerned with the people in the economy that they supposedly represent.  It should provide the essentials needed for economic growth, personal freedom and safety for all.  It has none of that at this time.  Instead our government at all levels has warped into a forced slavery of crime, murder, indoctrination, excessive taxation, corruption and theft.  Theft of freedom and ideas.  A political ruling class who shows daily the absurdity of their ideas.  This theater needs to end on November 8, 2022.  It is 1776 all over again.

More Bad News For Soon To Be Former United States Senator Blumenthal.

Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal has to be shocked at the current "polls" showing him leading by a mere 10 to 15% depending on the Republican candidate he ends up facing in the upcoming November election.  In my opinion and the opinion of many others Blumenthal has helped to create his own political demise this November.  Recently the ever attention grabber wants an immediate investigation as to why there is a shortage of baby formula in Connecticut and nationwide.  I personally do not understand why he is concerned with this as he was the lead author of the Democratic abortion rights bill.  This bill would apparently allow abortion at any time including birth (www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/senate-bill/4132/text).  Reading this bill's text is alarming and shows the blatant disregard for human life that Blumenthal has.  His hypocrisy is even more evident as he was well aware of the impending shortages of baby formula by the actions of the FDA back in February but apparently has had no need to respond until his theatrical press conference of a few days ago to bellow his desire for yet another investigation.  Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal has demanded so many investigations over the past five years and shown little to no results in functional solutions to the problems that his omnipotent Democrat Party has created for the country.  Nor has he answered why he has such close ties to the Connecticut People’s World Committee, an arm of the Communist Party.  Why did he accept their "award"?

Just look at the energy crisis that Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal has no answers for.  All that oil that he helped release from the Strategic Reserve has done nothing for the Democrat energy crisis.  Wasn't it Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal's President Biden who shut down the Keystone Pipeline and a great deal of American energy production when he took office?  Didn't the Senator realize what that was going to do to America's energy markets?  Is Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal that economically illiterate to see the economic destruction it was going to create for our economy?  Or since Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal is a multi millionaire he really has no concept of what it is like to actually be productive in the economy and work for a living.  He has no struggles other than maintaining his grip on grooming his ego for all to see and embrace on a daily basis.  The hypocrisy of Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal is amazing.  And his rhetoric especially now in one of the greatest economic crisis our country has ever faced since the Depression is sickening especially to the Connecticut Taxpayers who must listen to his gibberish.  The same Connecticut Taxpayers and voters who must decide on whether they can afford food any more since energy prices are so high.  No big deal to Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal since his job is to maintain himself and the political elite who worship him.

Election day is fast approaching.  Whoever wins the Republican nomination for United States Senator must offer example after example of the incompetence of Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal.  Whoever wins the Republican nomination for United States Senator must show that there is a total lack of solutions to the grave economic problems offered by Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal.  Whoever wins the Republican nomination for United States Senator must expose the disrespect and disregard for the people of Connecticut that Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal has shown them for years now.  His time has passed, his rhetoric is stale and his lies are increasing daily.   Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal must and will lose his election in November.  It is inevitable.  It is 1776 all over again.

The Connecticut Democrat Party Has Lost The Middle Class vote In 2022

Inflation, inflation and more inflation.  Taxes, taxes and more taxes. Food staples in short supply.  Infant formula in short supply. Another day of $150 billion dollars worth of short and long term debt and unfunded liabilities and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of high inflation and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of $6+ per gallon heating oil used to heat homes and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of inflationary energy prices making driving to work a luxury for the middle class and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of excessive diesel fuel prices that are crippling the trucking industry and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont. Another day of not knowing how much in profits were made unethically and illegally during the manufactured Covid-19 crisis by Ned Lamont's family hedge fund and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of no solutions to any of Connecticut's problems by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.

The Middle Class in Connecticut continues to be attacked on all sides.  Those with children in public schools see little actual education going on but a great deal of indoctrination on sex education, gender change, while privilege,  BLM, socially correct history, proper gender pronoun use, distorted math problems,  socialism and communism.  Parents who are now shocked by this garbage being taught their children are now pulling their children out of public schools and home schooling them and or trying to enroll them into charter schools.  The Middle Class in Connecticut is many cases are working more than one job to try to make ends meet due to the excessively high taxation, high energy prices, high food prices, high housing prices, high utility prices, and to protect their families from the excessive crime in the state.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut have lost their businesses during the Lamont shutdowns.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut have lost their income from rental properties during the Lamont shutdowns.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut who are retired are going to be forced by to go back to work quickly, give up food or go broke since their investments continue to drop in value.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut continue to move out on a daily basis for many years now.  What is their future and hope to stay in a state such as Connecticut with everything around them being so socially incoherent and economically illogical?  Why must they support a state government so out of touch with both social and economic reality?  Why must they take orders from a bunch of politically elite and politically corrupted individuals?  Why must they sacrifice so that Connecticut's employee unions, elected officials and politically connected profit off their labor?  Why is this right?

The Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont has lost the Middle Class vote this coming November.    No matter how they wish to twist the grim economic reality of Connecticut it has lost completely this voting block and group.  Say goodbye to them.  No amount of cruel and unlimited abortions will get them back either.  They lost them.  The Connecticut Republican Party needs to understand this. What the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont don't understand is that the Connecticut Middle Class is beyond their breaking point and have had enough of their lies.  What the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont don't understand is that the Connecticut Middle Class truly understands completely the games these political hacks play and how they have damaged the state's economy to almost a point of no return.  The Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont forgets that the Middle Class knows that the state still ranks last or near last in most economic categories, is in the top five state in the country for the highest taxes and has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  The Connecticut Middle Class or whats left of it will not accept the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont's lies any more.  The Connecticut Middle Class are not fools nor slaves any more to the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont.  It is 1776 once again.

The Connecticut Democrat Party New Tax And Spend Budget-Just More Of The Same

It seems like it is always more of the same with the Connecticut Democrat Party when it comes to the new state budget.  Every two years Connecticut always seems to have some economic/employment crisis that impacts its budget.  It has been the same since the infamous Lowell Weicker/Democrat Party state income tax was passed back in 1991.  If the state income tax was not passed then Connecticut apparently would have sunk into the Atlantic Ocean or better yet would have had to cut state spending.  As a tradition each year state spending and state taxes go up.  To the point today that a state as small as Connecticut and with a declining state population now is spending over $24.2 billion dollars in its next budget.  That seems like a great deal of money for a state that continues to rank last or near last in all economic categories, highest taxes in the country, still has not recovered from the 2008-09 recession and has a mere $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  And realistically this new budget looks a great deal the same as previous Connecticut Democrat Party budgets, more cash for state employees, more cash for those who are politically connected to the Connecticut Democrat Party, more corporate welfare payments to those who are politically connected to the Connecticut Democrat Party, higher taxes especially for the trucking industry in this budget, more money for education, more money for social welfare programs and free health care for illegal immigrants in the state.

In this new budget I especially enjoy reading the $2,000,000 being given for direct flights to Jamaica at Bradley Airport.  I did not realize that there was such a demand by state taxpayers to fly to Jamaica nor did I realize that they are responsible for both subsidizing the flights and paying for their air flight tickets to this country.  For the apparently overworked judiciary employees/judges a mere 5% per year raise after the massive increases they just got in 2021.  For example a Superior Court Judge pay was increased from $180,460 to $189,483.  Nor overlooked is the area of non union pay increases in most departments and lump sum payments accounting for a 2.5% pay increase for each of the next three fiscal years, 7.5% in total and $3500 in lump sum payments combined for the next two fiscal years.  Thus it seems apparent that non union state employees are getting the same pay increases just like the massive union pay package that was negotiated behind closed doors this year. The Urban Act got an addition $120 million dollars of which $20 million dollars is authorized for apparently low income housing.  These are just a few areas I looked at in the 243 page Act to adjust the state budget never mind the state budget itself.

It is sad that the 243 page Act to adjust the state budget that was passed isn't the leading news story on Connecticut's state run and subsidized media.  The outcry from it I believe would be enormous as to where Connecticut Taxpayers monies are spent and on what.  It a free for all of giveaways for anything and everything in the state.  And sadly with another $24.2 billion dollars being spent it will do little to improve a state that continues to rank last or near last in all economic categories, still has not recovered from the 2008-09 recession and has a mere $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities along with yet even higher taxes coming.   Good money keeps being spent after bad money.  More money to fund pet local projects.  More money for state employees salaries, benefits and pensions.  More money lost in corporate welfare schemes to keep a few jobs temporarily in Connecticut before the business moves to a lower taxed state.  More money spent on bonds and now much higher interest rates on borrowed money.  More garbage being force fed to Connecticut Taxpayers.  This budget proves to me there is little change in Connecticut and spending continues to increase, taxes keep going up and nothing changes.  And the next budget will easily surpass $25 billion dollars and more.  And the one after that ditto, etc.  Nothing changes.  And throw in pay raises for State Legislators and we add insult to injury.

Thus the Connecticut Taxpayer has yet another conundrum to solve in the upcoming election.  They are being told by Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party how great the state has become over the past two and four years under their leadership.  The reality they see is the same stale rhetoric being spoken not does not work.  They see a state where their family and friends are moving out daily.  They see a state where they are no longer safe with crime and car thefts spiraling out of control.  They see a state where drug abuse, drug overdoses and suicides are accepted with little if anything being done about it.  They see a state where abortions must be legally guaranteed and children's sexes (for those who are not proudly aborted) must be changed beginning at a young age and paid for by insurance companies.  They see a state where the elderly and disabled lives were deemed worthless during the manufactured and profitable Covid-19 crisis by the irrational policies that were implemented, deemed as law under the Governor's Executive Orders, those same people had to suffer a painful death trapped in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers from the virus.  They see a state where lies are cited as truth and the truth destroyed as a lie.  Connecticut Taxpayers seem to have had enough of this abuse and misuse of their monies supporting a corrupted state government.  It is 1776 all over again.

The Democrat Party's Runaway Inflation Crisis

When I was a Freshman in High School in 1972, I first started to study and learn about the economy and inflation.  I have studied the economy and its related components for the last 50 years earning a Masters Degree in Economics many years ago and teaching Economics and Business classes for 40 years now at colleges and universities throughout the country.  In my classes over the years I have taught at times where there was inflation however I have never taught during the time frame that we live in today that includes runaway inflation.  Runaway inflation is the worse type of inflation that an economy may have and can be defined as a rapid increase in the price level with a massive decrease in the value of money. Runaway inflation is caused by several factors that include excessive government spending of money, an excessive expansion of the money supply through the issuing of more money into the economy by government and a lowering of productivity and elimination of economic growth in the economy.  Currently we have all of these issues and more in our economy that are causing runaway inflation and they can be directly tied to the failed economic policies of the Democrat Biden Administration.

Many mistakes have been made by the Biden Administration and the Democrat Party led Congress.  America had energy independence and security through the Trump Administration mainly due to more drilling of oil domestically, the fracking of natural gas and the Keystone Pipeline.  These components allowed for very low energy prices to exist in our country and for stable prices to exist.  One of the first things the Biden Administration did was to create an almost immediate dependency on foreign oil in the guise of creating non polluting green energy policies that somehow does not use fossil fuels.  There has been a large push to go to electric vehicles that still must use a form of fossil fuel energy to charge the vehicles batteries and are pretty much not affordable for the general working public due to their massive costs.  A much wiser policy was for our country to continue to be energy independent while allowing the tools of the free market system to help develop the alternative energy markets and products that would become affordable for the economy.  This misguided policy that the Biden Administration slammed on the economy has led to runaway inflation, massive increases in transportation costs which in turn have increased the costs of all products and goods delivered to stores in the economy.  The biggest supply shock has been to the cost of food items in the grocery stores which are fast making food a luxury item in the economy for most families.  A five dollar a gallon price for diesel fuel is passed on to consumers contrary to what the Biden Administration and the state run media wants us to believe.  We see a massive trickle down effect in our economy from this horrific energy policy.  Nor do wee see any reasonable and or rational policy to get people back to work and help to alleviate the massive supply chain issues the economy faces which also contributes to the runaway inflation our economy has today.

The Democrat Party has a big problem.  It is what is known as runaway inflation.  It is their manufactured crisis that could have been completely avoided by much more economically coherent governing and actions.  Instead it has shown the American Taxpayer its economic illiteracy through economic actions that are meant to damage the American economy and hurt its citizens.  For what reason is beyond me other than it wants America to see in full spectacle the horrors of a command, Socialistic economy and society that has never worked in the history of the world and is not working today for the Socialists and Communists who control today the Democrat Party of America.  A party of complete ineptness and corruption that is trying to portray itself as the cure-all to their manufactured failures of so many years now.  Mr. Biden, his Administration and the Democrat Party have created the economic crisis that we all must try to deal with in May 2022.  And there was no reason whatsoever for this to happen.    At least in 2020 under President Trump who loved his country, who hated the corruption/swamp of Washington D.C., economic prosperity was the norm and the American public was prospering.   American voters in November are not better off than they were two years ago.  They are much worse off than they were in 2020.  This economic policy of failure is what the Democrat Party of the United States is running their campaign based upon.  And it is why they will go down in massive defeat on Election Day.  And it is 1776 all over again.
