A Tale Of Two Connecticut's-Corruption and Fraud

Connecticut seems to have two different realities.  One reality that is painted by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the state's biased media is that Connecticut is a Utopia of low taxes, great job opportunities, and one of the most desired states to want to move to (especially if you are escaping New Jersey or New York).  This Utopia also is nurtured by the concept of following anything and everything the Connecticut Democrat Party tells you to do whether you are a business or private citizen thus your life here will be perfect.
The other reality that to me is much more talked about privately and by the great silent majority of the state is a quagmire of high taxes, political nepotism, political connections, corrupted politicians, archaic damaging state laws, massive unemployment, massive business closures along with a strong dislike for personal freedoms. 
Thus we have a tale of two Connecticut's.
One Connecticut exists as the playground of the Connecticut Democrat Party.  They like to look the other way when Ned Lamont's family and their hedge fund scores another no bid state contract and makes more profit for them.  They enjoy creating horrific pieces of legislation and then try to spin the damages it will create for the state and its economy as the Connecticut Republican Party's fault.  They enjoy and will at all costs take care of their own.  Besides the profit machine the Lamont's have been pumping through their hedge fund through Covid-19 tests, tracing and other areas we see the appointment of Democrat operative Mary Glassman to a highly paid state job.  Glassman who ran with Lamont in his failed 2010 Governor's run and lost convincingly to Jahana Hayes in their 2018 primary for Congress was just given a plush state taxpayer funded job as a senior advisor to Lamont in his constituent affairs office.  One can not find much information on candidate for life Glassman's position and how much she will be paid for her job and why she was given it in the first place.  One must remember that Connecticut is in an economic depression with a 22% unemployment rate along with a bankrupt unemployment compensation fund.  But in the Connecticut Democrat Party's eyes Glassman and her fund raisers, her connections and her power is much too good of a person to be unemployed.  The other peons who have lost their jobs because of the Draconian Lamont Covid-19 shutdown since March 15 are left to fend for themselves.  I will assume that is why we have food banks in our state anyways, to facilitate and help those who do not hold their allegiance to the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Throw those out of work some food to survive and let the victors have their spoils.  Especially when Connecticut has a mere $145 billion dollars in short and long term debts along with unfunded liabilities.  Somehow that is the fault of the Connecticut Taxpayers or maybe even the timid Connecticut Republican Party or President Trump's fault?
Oh and take their police protection away from those who abide by the law also.  It represents the stench that is polluting Connecticut from its supposed state government.
Connecticut has been a vast economic wasteland for years filled with fraud.  It is a tale of two states: one for the Connecticut Democrat Party and its corruption and fraud and one for hard working legal taxpayers who are laughed at and ridiculed by the ruling elite.   It is time for it to end once and for all.

Why are we eliminating Police Forces in Connecticut?

I wonder why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to eliminate our police forces in Connecticut?  Is it because we are too safe now?  Is it because there are no more crimes?  Is it because there is no more domestic violence?  Is it because there are no more shootings with illegal guns and weapons?  Is it because there are no more car thefts in Connecticut by gangs of youth and career criminals?  Is it because we are now going to police ourselves through open carry laws in Connecticut?  Is it because our court system in the state will actually prosecute criminals and impose jail terms to fit the crimes?  Is it because the "early release " program is going to be eliminated? Is it because "An Act Concerning Police Accountability,” House Bill 6004, will somehow somehow eliminate all bad cops (if there are any in the state) and eliminate the need for police?  Is it because Connecticut has just shifted the economic burdens of police forces to cities and towns by the removal of necessary qualified immunity for officers? Is it because now the massive costs to be shouldered by cities and towns will in effect make employing police forces cost prohibitive and thus eliminate them?
I wonder why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to eliminate our police forces in Connecticut?   What did the different city and town police forces do to the Connecticut Democrat Party?  Enforce laws to those who were breaking the law?  Enforce laws that guarantee your right to ownership of your own personal property?  Enforce laws that allow you the freedom to work at your own business under protection from theft and violence?  Enforce laws that eliminate child abuse, child kidnapping and child molestation?  Enforce laws that protect the innocent from exploitation?
Why are our police forces in Connecticut so bad for trying to protect innocent law abiding citizens?  We supposedly have the toughest gun laws in Connecticut thus why are there still many shootings and deaths in Connecticut's Democrat controlled cities such as Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford?  Is it somehow because of police accountability?  It seems never to be due to personal responsibility of the illegal gun owner shooting another victim.  It seems never to be because of the constant illegal drug war that our police forces must battle on a daily basis. 
No it is because we must be force fed another bad piece of Connecticut Democrat Party legislation that further erodes the personal freedoms of law abiding state citizens while helping to nurture and placate distorted Democrat liberalism that continues to fail Connecticut on a daily basis. 
This bill says it all.  One must be in wonder why with the Connecticut Democrat Party induced economic depression from Covid-19 that this is the most pressing issue in the state today?
One must be in wonder also what the Connecticut Democrat Party plan is to pay off the state's $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with its unfunded liabilities?  More importantly one must wonder who in their right mind would want to become a Police Officer in the state after this morally bankrupt House Bill 6004 passed during the middle of the night with little debate and will be once again shoved down the throats of the law abiding citizens and taxpayers of the state?
I wonder why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to eliminate our police forces in Connecticut?  Who is going to personally protect us now? 
The silence is deafening once again.

Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.

Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  There seems to be a constant and never ending fear of getting Covid-19 if legal Connecticut citizens do not follow the guidelines and decrees that have been implemented by Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.   
Of course the real figures seem to be confusing to me as only a small amount of people actually got the virus and died from it here in Connecticut.  Along with the figures in the United States.  And I really am confused as to how many people actually had it and recovered from it since all of the statistics being given seem to be fear driven.  How many people were tested a false positive?  How many people have recovered?  How does a cloth mask prevent its spread?  I would venture to state that many more people get well from the virus than die from it.  But how interesting that all of these issues of Covid-19 amazingly come to a head right before our State and Presidential election.
For example here in Connecticut we should not be allowed to vote in person for either our primary or in our general election this November.  It seems to be unsafe according to Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  However it seems to be safe and has always been safe to go grocery shopping, to Costco, to pump your own gas touching a pump handle that seems not to be cleaned after every use or touch, and most importantly to go protest against a Christopher Columbus statute being in the same position it has been in for 100 plus years and or against supposed police brutality if you decide to break the law.  But from what we can tell breaking the law is politically acceptable especially if it meets the needs of Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party here in Connecticut.  As it seems to me that Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party enjoy the free for all fear that they have created since their "legal" shutdown of Connecticut on March 15th or 16th or 17th (pick a date).  I will assume this shut down can never end unless either an Oak HC/FT Lamont Hedge fund invested company has created a vaccine, a complete tracing system and or another no bid contract with the State of Connecticut. 
Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  Looking at the guidelines required to re open schools K-12 in Connecticut in the fall one must wonder who is going to pay for all of the increased "requirements" and who in their right mind would want to either attend classes and or teach physically in those same classes.  Three feet apart, six feet apart, no lunch rooms to eat in, the wearing of masks at all times, etc.  I wonder as an educator how will any student be able to learn under these draconian conditions and how any teacher will able to teach under these same draconian conditions?  Who will teach on line and how will a first grade student for example actually learn online?  The costs of education here in the state should skyrocket under these conditions easily.  Who then pays?  
Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  Why fly into Connecticut even though you are healthy and have to attend a family function/funeral and or attend to business?  It seems to be unsafe according to Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party and they wish to fine you $1000 if do not stay put, register yourself and quarantine for the magical 14 days that someone stated you should.  But it seems ok to fly if you are coming here to protest and or attend a Democrat held fund raiser.  What was I thinking!
Fear is everywhere here in Connecticut.  Common sense in my opinion no longer exists here in Connecticut.  Fear does.  The fear that is manufactured on a daily basis by Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  The trio that has helped nurture a 22% unemployment rate, destroyed many businesses and wish to de-fund our police departments. 
All while they laugh and profit from a supposed flu virus.

Connecticut Can't Save Nor Stop Spending Taxpayers Money

Can Connecticut's State Government learn how to save money?  Can it stop spending Connecticut Taxpayer's Money?
This week we see a convicted former Whiting Forensic Hospital nurse who abused his patients is still receiving his $88,229 a year state pension while in prison.  Why is he still getting this pension?  Why must Connecticut Taxpayers pay for this?
This week we see that hundreds of Connecticut state employees may have filed for unemployment benefits illegally due to losses of part time and or side jobs.  These state employees are full time workers and are not eligible for unemployment benefits under state law.  Why was this allowed to happen in the first place and why did it take so long for auditors to find it out?  Connecticut's unemployment fund is once again broke thus the state must borrow money from the Federal government to keep it afloat.  Connecticut will then in turn issue a special tax on all businesses in the state to pay for this borrowing.  Connecticut has a 20-22% unemployment rate at this time of Ned Lamont's Executive Order of a continuing lock down due to the now fading Covid-19 virus.  Why can't Connecticut reopen fully?
This week we see that Ned Lamont wants to have airline passengers flying into Bradley Airport (which is subsidized by Connecticut Taxpayers) to quarantine for 14 days when here and to fill out forms stating where they are staying, what purpose, etc.  How much is this program going to cost Connecticut Taxpayers?   Who is going to run the program?  A new state agency?  Boston Consulting Group?  Will a Lamont family hedge fund invested company be given a no bid contract for its implementation or tracing?  How is this even legal?
We also see that Connecticut homeowners pay 20% more than New York and almost 50% more than Massachusetts in property taxes as a percentage of housing value while Connecticut home values have declined by roughly 10% over the past ten years.  Property taxes continue to go up here in the state year in and year out.  These were the results found by the Tax Foundation (taxfoundation.org)
It is obvious that Connecticut's government can not save nor stop spending Connecticut Taxpayers money.  And contrary to State Treasurer Shawn Wooden's claim that Connecticut residents are not fleeing out of state especially to Florida or other states, Connecticut Taxpayers and Businesses are fleeing the state year in and year out, Covid-19 or not.  Connecticut has both a spending and debt problem.  Connecticut still has over $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.   Connecticut State Government shows no fiscal restraint crisis or no crisis.  Connecticut State Government just relies on the failed tax and spend policies years in and years out to reach the mess we are in and continue to be in for the foreseeable future. 
Remember on Election Day this is the record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running on.  Why would you vote Democrat?  
And why can't Connecticut stop spending Connecticut Taxpayer's Money?

The Connecticut Election November 3, 2020

Believe it or not there is an election that is supposed to take place on Tuesday November 3, 2020 here in Connecticut.  Since Ned Lamont has instilled a massive fear in many legal state citizens to leave their house the Connecticut Democrat Party's new game plan is to try to run a complete mail in and absentee vote election in November.  By now if you are a registered voter in the state (and if you are dead but still voting Democrat) you received an application for an absentee ballot.  Apparently due to the constant and never ending fear of getting Covid-19 if you leave your house you may somehow get it if you go to vote in person. The Connecticut Democrat Party wants you to vote by mail.  Vote by mail with a straight Democrat vote from top to bottom for their hacks and our do nothing non working state legislature.  Ned Lamont wants it this way.  It is probably what Boston Consulting Group told him to do to maintain ultimate decreed power and one party rule over Connecticut and to keep those no bid-Lamont family hedge fund invested businesses making money.   
Why can't we vote in person? Are Covid-19 particles everywhere we go?  But they are not present if we wear a mask to go to work?   Nor are they present when we go buy groceries?  What kind of oversight will be made when these mail in ballots get counted?  Are the Connecticut Republican Party officials going to be allowed to be present when votes are counted in Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford?  And are they going to be able to contest votes for voters who are dead or not registered?
In my opinion a vote by mail election is ripe for fraud to occur and influence the outcome of the election.  But isn't that what the Connecticut Democrat Party wants?
By the way here is the economy in Connecticut currently for those who do not know.  We have a   22% rate of unemployment with many still waiting for their unemployment benefits after four months.  Many small businesses have gone under and will never reopen again.  Tax revenues are down for cities and towns.  Those remaining businesses that are open are facing massive increases in operating costs that will be difficult to recoup in the long run.  The Connecticut state budget will have a roughly $5 billion dollar budget deficit due to the downturn in economic activity and lower tax revenues.  The state did not cut their spending during this crisis for non essential services.  Connecticut has $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities it must answer to at some point before it goes bankrupt.  Ned Lamont's family hedge fund has profited nicely from his decrees and no bid state contracts that were given to companies that they invested in.  All with Connecticut Taxpayers monies.
This is the record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running for on November 3, 2020.  And you wonder why legal Connecticut residents are skeptical of this new vote by mail scheme?  Do yourself a favor this election-don't vote Democrat at any level of government.  The Connecticut Democrat Party and its hacks have helped ruin Connecticut's economy and personal freedoms.  Why would you want to continue to support them in any way any longer?  Why?

Connecticut's Fear And No Solutions

Simple solutions to complex problems.  Or complex solutions to simple problems.  Or no solutions whatsoever to a manufactured health care crisis that is allowed to linger so that the Lamont's and other politically connected individuals are allowed to earn profits off of it.  I believe that later is happening at this time.
Connecticut seems not to have many cases at all of Covid-19 and or many hospitalizations from it either at this time.  Connecticut since the March 16th Lamont induced lock down has not had many cases at all of Covid-19 and or many hospitalizations from it either.  Connecticut's deaths from Covid-19 were mainly from those most vulnerable in our society who had little protection.  This being elderly people in nursing homes.  Connecticut instead has an economy in disarray with Ned Lamont issuing executive order after executive order that both shut down the economy, increased unemployment to Depression era levels, ruined many businesses and did little to supposedly keep Connecticut safe from Covid-19.  All at the same time he and his wife profited by the maze of companies that have investments in them through their Cayman Islands non Connecticut based hedge fund.  These same Lamont companies doing business with the state through no bid contracts.
It is an amazing to see that this is not reported on by the state's Democrat controlled media.
It is an amazing picture to see the constant fear that has been drummed into the citizens of Connecticut on a daily basis since the virus hit and continues to this day.  I wonder how many people still have yet to leave their homes since March 16th?  I wonder how a piece of plexiglass is preventing Covid-19 from occurring in restaurants and stores?  And how that those stores that remained open after the issuance of the executive order back in March were able to operate without this plexiglass and not have any issues with Covid-19?  People in stores are only allowed to go one way up or down an aisle in these same stores now, I truly wonder the medical reasoning and logic from it as again one did not do this when shopping before it was decreed by Lamont and or by the Boston Consulting Group.  Masks on or off?  By wearing a mask that has germs on it you prevent Covid-19? 
I wonder also where is all of the Cares Act Federal monies that Connecticut has received being spent on and for what?  There seems to be little of any accounting of it nor are Connecticut Taxpayers being given a daily or weekly update on it.  One must study the Open Connecticut transparent state run website to see where millions of dollars go each week of Connecticut Taxpayers monies.  I wonder also how many of our elected legislatures of our now defunct state legislature can explain what was paid out at this time? 
Our Phase 3 re-opening has been put on hold indefinitely by Lamont citing the increases in cases from other parts of the country.  Why?  Are we other parts of the country?  Lamont also has issued what amounts to a travel ban covering people entering Connecticut from now 19 states.  What happens when a trucking company must send supplies to Connecticut from one of these 19 states?  They can't deliver to the state any more?  Will Connecticut only re-open completely once every legal resident is tested for Covid-19 by a test issued by a company that has investment ties to the Lamont's hedge fund and then constantly traced and monitored by another company that has investment ties to the Lamont's hedge fund?  Is this the end game for the Lamont's and the Connecticut Democrat Party?  Total and complete control of Connecticut's economy and its legal citizens?  Socialism at its worse?  No common sense in dealing with this crisis whatsoever.
Fear seems to be everywhere in Connecticut.  Ned Lamont enjoys playing on this constant theme of fear.  Fear of eating out.  Fear of buying goods in a store.  Fear of going to the local small store in your town.  Fear of shaking your friend's hand.  Fear of hugging a family member.  Fear of not wearing a mask in public.   Fear of groups of people.  Fear of being allowed to go to Church each week and worship.  Lamont is a fear based, fear driven and ill equipped Governor.
Yet life somehow continues in Connecticut as more and more middle class citizens move out only to be replaced by liberal and wealthy former New York and New Jersey residents.  Connecticut has now an incredible budget deficit from this crisis.  Connecticut keeps spending money at an ever increasing rate.  And we still have no solutions to this supposed crisis.  We see how unprepared Connecticut and its leaders were and still are during this crisis. 
We only see fear and no solutions. 
It is time for it to stop.

When Will Connecticut Open Up Completely?

When will Connecticut open up again completely?
Will it be when the Lamont's have made enough money through their hedge fund and satisfied the web of companies they have invested in that have no bid contracts with the State of Connecticut?
Will it be when enough small businesses are permanently shut down so that large corporate chains and companies can take over in the state?
Will it be when Boston Consulting Group becomes a permanent vendor for the State of Connecticut with an open ended contract with unlimited Connecticut Taxpayers monies at their disposal to spend?
Will it be when every legal citizen of Connecticut gets tested for Covid-19 by a company that has investment ties with the Lamont's?
Will it be when every legal citizen of Connecticut is forced to use an app by a company that has investment ties with the Lamont's to trace every step they make 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year?
Will it be when the state's budget deficit increases to $10 billion dollars for the fiscal year?  $15 billion dollars for the fiscal year? 
Will it be when Connecticut's short and long term debt along with its unfunded liabilities reach $200 billion dollars?  $250 billion dollars?
Will be when Connecticut has a 30% unemployment rate?  A 35% unemployment rate?
Will it be when the working middle class of the state no longer exists?
When will Connecticut open up again completely?
Connecticut Taxpayers no longer can get answers to their questions during this manufactured Covid-19 crisis from its non existent state legislature.  In a state that has a listed number of 3,570,514 legal citizens, there has been 4,338 deaths from Covid-19 as of July 7th.  That is a death rate of 0.00121495112%.  What is death rate from drug overdoses in our state?  What is death rate from cancer in our state?  Where is our State Public Health Commissioner discussing these figures?  Does Connecticut have a State Public Health Commissioner during this crisis or is it Boston Consulting Group?
The games being played by the Lamont Administration and the Connecticut Democrat Party continue to destroy the state's economy.  It is perfectly acceptable to have mass demonstrations that fit the Democrat Party agenda but large groups of weekly worship at churches are prohibited.  
We see a total failure in our state government as far as leadership is concerned.  All we see is a massive profit grab by the politically connected.  
When will Connecticut open up again completely?   I guess it will never fully open up so long as Ned Lamont rules the state.

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:

For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated  Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

The $15 Million Dollar Covid-19 Test?

$15 million dollars for Covid-19 tests?  Is this for real?  If you live in Connecticut a company called Sema-4 is getting a great deal of State of Connecticut money for Covid-19 testing and other items.  It has gotten this Connecticut Taxpayer money since 2015.  In December 2015 the Department of Economic and Community Development under the Malloy Administration gave this company a $9.5 million dollar loan (partially forgiven) to create 145 jobs in the state (or roughly $65518. per job). In April 2018 the Malloy Administration gave them another $6 million dollar loan (partially forgiven) for machinery, equipment, capital improvements along with the creation of 408 jobs.  They get $15.5 million dollars in Connecticut Taxpayers monies and amazingly get $12.2 million dollars of this money forgiven. 
In June 2020, Sema-4 seems to have entered into a no bid State of Connecticut contract for Covid-19 testing.  I again wonder are they the only company in the country that provides these tests and at what costs?   Connecticut Taxpayers do not know what these tests cost due to a concept known as "trade secrets" for the tests. Ann Lamont's hedge fund Oak HC/FT invests in Sema-4 which is a DBA (doing business as) of Mount Sinai genomics.  The State of Connecticut gets a bill from Sema-4 for $600,000. in Covid-19 tests that is paid for recently.  I wonder how much more the state will be billed by this company that already has gotten an enormous amount of money from Connecticut Taxpayers and at the same time that the Lamont's hedge fund receive profits from their investments in this same company?  No one in our state government questions this maze of Connecticut Taxpayers monies that have benefited the Lamont's.

Ned Lamont now has to pat himself on the back all by showing the country that he himself stopped the Covid-19 virus in Connecticut.  It is truly amazing now that there are now few cases, few hospitalizations and obviously those who died in the state's nursing homes needlessly was just a bump in the road to the state's great health.  Ned Lamont also has to pat himself on the back for the amount of profit he and his wife have made through their hedge fund during this crisis through a complex maze of companies, many of which received Connecticut Taxpayers monies through forgiven loans and state grants.  He truly runs our state as a self appointed dictator under the cover of the supposed Covid-19 crisis. 
All this while the rest of our state's economy has imploded and the economic depression that exists in the state for many will never end.  Along with a massive $145 billion dollars plus in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  The Connecticut Democrat Party with its politically connected friends along with Ned Lamont have a twisted version of liberalism and economic stimulus. It is a fascinating read as they are the only ones who can and will benefit from the self induced Covid-19 crisis.   The hell with the rest of the state and its legal citizens once again.

How Much Is The Covid-19 Test Costing Connecticut's Taxpayers?

There was more bad economic news for Connecticut Taxpayers this past week.  Connecticut Taxpayers are not able to find out how much Covid-19 tests being given are costing the state.  $50 million dollars of Connecticut Taxpayers monies is being spent on six different vendors Covid-19 tests.  The Office of the State Comptroller has redacted at least six public contracts at the request of vendors who state their prices for taxpayer-funded tests shouldn’t be publicly disclosed because that information is considered a "trade secret" not subject to public disclosure.   How this is possible is beyond economic logic and comprehension?  I am under the belief that if Connecticut Taxpayers monies are being publicly spent then that information becomes public knowledge?  We apparently have now a defacto Lamont ruled state government whereby no information is forthcoming to Connecticut Taxpayers unless it has been approved by Lamont and the Boston Consulting Group (due to their secret state consulting contract that was enacted by Lamont).  Obviously our democracy in Connecticut has been suspended due to the "crisis" powers of Ned Lamont and his political/business friends that now rule the state.
I wonder how many of these six vendors have had investments made by the Oak HC/FT hedge fund that Ned Lamont and family have a financial interest in?   Since we as Connecticut Taxpayers are paying for these tests do not we not have a right under our Connecticut State Constitution to know what is being spent?  Or are Connecticut's rules and laws conveniently forgotten about when it can benefit either the Lamont's or the Connecticut Democrat Party?  In this case it seems to be.
I take this loss of Connecticut Taxpayers freedom of information to know where our tax money is being spent along with a disregard of the loss of personal freedoms due to this "crisis"  to be a serious attack on the legal citizens of our state.  To me it is also against the laws that govern the state.
The real "crisis" in Connecticut today is not Covid-19.  It is the imploding financial crisis of an impending $4 to $6 billion dollar budget deficit for the coming Fiscal Year 2020-2021 along with massive state unemployment, a massive loss of businesses along with the $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities Connecticut has.  What is Ned Lamont and his political/business friends going to do about that?  Anything?  Is Boston Consulting Group working on it for another $2 million dollar Connecticut Taxpayer funded secret contract?  Are we going to be looking at the sky is the limit new and higher taxes for the remaining legal citizens and businesses of the state?  What are the solutions being offered by our elected officials?  Do we have elected officials any more in Connecticut or do we now live in a dictatorship?  I really wonder.
We are now almost thirty years into a state income tax that was going to solve all of Connecticut's economic problems.  We are now almost thirty years into a never ending economic depression and recession that has been inflicted upon us year in and year out by a Connecticut Democrat Party that has no concerns other than pure authoritarian rule over its people.  
Oh and by the way I still want to know how much we are paying for these Covid-19 tests?

More Lamont Cash-The Cayman-Delaware Connection

It is meant to be confusing to Connecticut Taxpayers. 
There seems to be several connections to businesses doing businesses with the State of Connecticut via no bid and undisclosed contracts that have ties to the Lamont's hedge fund.  The same hedge fund that is supposedly based in the Cayman Islands and can legally funnel profits to its Delaware based general partner entities that is also known as Oak HC/FT Partners and or a variation of it.
It is meant to be confusing to Connecticut Taxpayers. 
The companies that investments  have been made in by Oak HC/FT Partners relating to the Covid-19 crisis include "Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Infomatics", "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", and "VillageMD" to name a few.   They seem to all have ties to Connecticut in the form of contracts to do business with the State of Connecticut or surrounding states.  From what I can tell many of these companies have no bid contracts with the State of Connecticut.   Thus how are they being paid?  Unknown other than with Connecticut Taxpayers monies and or Cares Act funding.  How much are we paying for these tests, apps and other "critical" Covid-19 items is again unknown.  Why is this not disclosed?
It is meant to be confusing to Connecticut Taxpayers. 
Did you also know that Connecticut's tax revenues are down dramatically and that not everyone is embracing the "phased openings"?   I guess we are not buying the expertise our Governor apparently is trying to show in his knowledge of the Covid-19 virus.  Or are Connecticut Taxpayers buying his smokescreens of legitimacy while he and his family profits through this virus that has virtually destroyed Connecticut's economy from his drastic shutdown actions he implemented on March 17, 2020?
It is meant to be confusing to Connecticut Taxpayers.
Ned Lamont and company need to come clean on their actions and profits.  Are these the best companies in the country to do business with for this virus?  Only companies that have ties with the Lamont's hedge fund?  Amazing isn't it?  Why is this happening without one question being asked from a complacent media and our supposed two political parties?  Is our state legislature ever going to meet again to discuss economic issues rather than statue issues?

Connecticut's Massive Financial Crisis

Connecticut is entering a massive fiscal crisis.  Tax revenues have been reported (not by anyone in the Connecticut Media however) being down by 33% due to the lock down and closures ordered by Ned Lamont.  The same Ned Lamont whose wife's hedge fund seem to be profiting during the Covid-19 crisis with various state vendors they have invested in such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Sema-4 to name a few.  I estimate since one can not gather any public information from this Administration during this crisis that a 33% tax revenue downturn will probably equate to a roughly $3 billion dollar budget deficit for the ending Fiscal Year 2019-2020.  Plus another possible $6 to $8 billion dollars in lost revenues for the new Fiscal Year 2020-2021.  That would be roughly 30% to 40% of the state budget value based on a $20 billion dollar state budget.  Does this administration really think that magically every business they forced to close on March 17th will somehow reopen with the same amount of revenues and pay the same amount of taxes paid starting in July?  How much revenue will be lost on the local level as property taxes are no longer paid?  20% to 40%?  More?  Why has there not been any cuts whatsoever in state spending with this enormous drop in tax revenues?  Does Lamont and company feel that the Cares Act (an Act we still do not how much Connecticut will be getting in either Fiscal Year) will magically erase this deficit?   Why wasn't the monies already given to the state by the Cares Act earmarked for this downfall in revenue?  Where has this money gone?  Will it magically erase Connecticut's $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with its unfunded liabilities for the future?  What is the plan for this fiscal issue?  Or does the $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with its unfunded liabilities for the future become meaningless to the Lamont administration so long as they can continue to profit from the Covid-19 crisis through no bid state contracts and not having to pay Connecticut taxes since Ann Lamont's hedge fund is registered in the Cayman Islands thus avoiding the high taxes of the state? 
The actions through ridiculous executive orders and never ending debt that this administration is dumping on Connecticut Taxpayers and its future generations is staggering and defies logic as to why no actions are being taken immediately.
We do know however that the Lamont administration is not concerned in the least about the Boston Consulting Group obtaining the personal information of Connecticut taxpayers from tracing in their secret contract with state.  Why hasn't one elected official question this part of the contract?  Why are they comfortable in what amounts to being the legal theft of Connecticut Taxpayers information?  Connecticut Taxpayers get no answers as usual with the Lamont administration. 
Now the Democrats want a special session to be called this summer to create social justice reforms.  What about a special session to respond to Connecticut's fiscal crisis?   I wonder who has been running the state of Connecticut for the past 40 plus years?  The Connecticut Democrat Party.  A party radically different than the party of the 1970's.  In the largest cities of the state like New Haven, Bridgeport and Hartford when wasn't the Democrat Party in power.  What have they had to show for it?  A constant economic decline?  Lawlessness?  Corruption?  The same social and economic problems only getting worse year in and year out?  What are the Democrat leaders of these cities offering?  The current Mayor of Bridgeport who supposedly paid back the city for his previous crimes?   What are their solutions?  None.
Connecticut has a massive financial crisis.  And the only thing being talked about is being politically correct by the same Democrat Party that has virtually destroyed Connecticut year in and year out for years now through their omnipotent political power.  The same political power that has destroyed Connecticut.  Ned Lamont, his company and political party need to go now: resign or be impeached from top to bottom.  Enough is enough of this charade called elected government.

Sema 4: Yet Another Lamont Connection

It is amazing how perfectly the Covid-19 virus crisis is playing out for the Governor.  It seems like the only companies that can help the state are ones that somehow have an affiliation with either the Governor, his wife, her hedge fund and or with their friends who just happen to be state employees and or affiliated with our state government.  There seems to be a great deal of profitability in the Covid-19 virus for Ned and Ann Lamont.
Meet Sema4.  It has two laboratories in Connecticut, one in Stamford and one in Branford.  It is partially funded by Connecticut Innovations and by Ann Lamont's hedge fund Oak HC/FT among others.   Sema4 as stated in their April 6, 2020 press release: "Sema4 is partnering with the state of Connecticut and regional healthcare providers to address the pressing need for high-throughput testing, including regular screening of medical personnel and other high-risk populations. Doctors in Connecticut and New York are able to order the test. Sema4 is processing samples in its state-of-the-art clinical laboratory, which can analyze 6,000 COVID-19 tests per week and return results within 24-48 hours." “With our proximity to the epicenter of the worst COVID-19 outbreak in the United States, we desperately need increased testing capacity and reliable results reported as quickly as possible,” said Josh Geballe, Chief Operating Officer for the State of Connecticut."  (this is the same Geballe who was the VP GM of Thermo Fisher Scientific after they bought out Core Informatics which he headed and the same company that received a large loan from the state in 2014) (https://sema4.com/home/media/sema4-launches-high-capacity-covid-19-testing-to-address-critical-need-across-connecticut-and-new-york/). Sema4 has also received $15 million dollars in loans from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development of which $12.2 million is forgiven if certain job criteria is met.
My question is this:  Is the only company in the country that the state of Connecticut can do business with for these Covid-19 tests?  For the Covid-19 crisis is the state of Connecticut only allowed to do business via no bid, secret contracts with companies that have an affiliation with either the Governor, his wife, her hedge fund and or with their friends who just happen to be employees and or affiliated with our state government?  Is the state overpaying for all of this work and what is the state actually getting for its money?  It is hard to get answers such as what is Connecticut getting for the $2 million dollar no bid contract it entered with the Boston Consulting Group?

There seems to be a massive disconnect with Ned Lamont and the ethical boundaries of his Governorship.  Profit seems to be the driving force of his administration at the expense of the Connecticut Taxpayer.  The same Connecticut Taxpayer who is now trapped in a state it can not leave freely and without some probable cause.  Freedom is now elusive in Connecticut due to the Lamont's and their entourage.  Lamont needs to resign.

Connect More Ned Lamont Dots With Connecticut Taxpayers Monies

Ned Lamont spent a lot of his own personal wealth to self fund his successful campaign for Governor.  By buying his seat with little money from the Connecticut Democrat Party one must assume that he needs to recoup some of his investment in his bought elected seat.  Through massive powers granted to him during the Covid-19 crisis, Lamont has been able to turn to his friends from several companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific a company that purchased Core Informatic, Boston Consulting Group, 1Life Medical and Sema-4 to give State of Connecticut's business to without apparent bidding procedures in place.  It is interesting to note that Lamont's wife Ann who has a stake in Oak HC/FT Partners III, L.P. hedge fund invests in several of the above mentioned companies. 
Lamont seems to be fixated with contact tracing as one of the solutions to stop spreading Covid-19 in the state.  Even though tracing has mixed results and in theory takes personal information from individuals (illegally?) Lamont wants it along with apparent mandatory testing of our state residents.  Connecticut Taxpayers would be logical to assume that the state would be developing bidding contracts for these services from a variety of sources.  However under Lamont's sweeping executive powers that were enacted there does not seem to be any questioning of who he is picking for many "Covid-19" emergency services and items to be paid for by Connecticut Taxpayers.
These include a no bid Covid-19 test to be purchased from Thermo Fisher Scientific.  Josh Geballe who was appointed by Lamont as his Chief Operating Officer was the former CEO of Core Informatics and more recently was a Vice President/GM for Thermo Fisher Scientific before being appointed by Lamont.
1Life Medical is producing a medical app that has hot buttons for Covid-19 testing that Lamont wants to get for the state.  Oak HC/FT Partners III, L.P. hedge fund is a large investor in 1Life Medical.  This app is the go to for the state of New York at this time also.
There will be more to come.
There are still no answers as to why Boston Consulting Group received a no bid $2 million dollar Connecticut Taxpayer funded contract to do consulting for the state.  We do know through the contract that they have the right to gather any personal information they want about Connecticut residents for this consulting.  I would state that this sounds literally like identity theft to me that a company will be allowed to take our personal information like this without our consent.
What is ADVANCECT?  Why is it tax exempt?  Why does it host the Reopen CT Advisory Committee and not the state legislature?

Ned Lamont and his wife are very smart.  They have been successful playing up, working with friends and making profits during the Covid-19 crisis with perfectly timed moves.  It is amazing to watch and to see all of this go unquestioned by our dormant and long forgotten state legislature along with a biased pro Democrat state media while the state economy collapses.  I personally feel the current corruption of the Lamont administration during the Covid-19 issue makes what former Governor John Rowland did look like child's play.  Why this continues to go unchecked is beyond any type of rational logic.  Then again there is nothing rational, logical and or ethical about or in our state government in my opinion in 2020.

June 10, 2020-Do You Know Where Connecticut Sends Your Personal Information To?

Do you know where Connecticut sends your personal information to?  Do you know if this legal?  Were you told that your personal information would be used without your knowledge and your consent by Connecticut?
If one looks more closely to the secret signed agreement/contract between Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and the Boston Consulting Group, there is an unreported provision regarding "identifier information" for "contact tracing". This provision allows this company to access without question or notification Connecticut residents personal information that includes:(from the contract)

Confidential Information:  Any name, number or other information that may be used, alone or in conjunction with any other information, to identify a specific individual including, but not limited to, such individual's name, date of birth, mother's maiden name, motor vehicle operator's license number, Social Security number, employee identification number, employer or taxpayer identification number, alien registration number, government passport number, health insurance identification number, demand deposit account number, savings account number, credit card number, debit card number or unique biometric data such as fingerprint, voice print, retina or iris image, or other unique physical representation. Without limiting the foregoing, Confidential Information shall also include any information that the  State classifies as “confidential” or “restricted.”  Confidential Information shall not include information that may be lawfully obtained from publicly available sources or from federal, state, or local government records which are lawfully made available to the general public. 
I am curious as to why we as Taxpayers and citizens of the state are not notified of this?   Since when is our personal information allowed to be given to a consulting group?   We still have not been given an explanation as to what the state is going to receive on this apparent open ended contract that apparently can be renewed through 2021 with this Boston Consulting Group.  Nor do we hear anything from our inoperative legislature (which in theory is our real government) during this crisis or on this contract. 
Moreover, it seems that this legislature failed to report the details of this contract, and this development is even more appalling as more than one legislator has sent an article linking to this contract to recipients on their mailing lists, thereby proving the contract information was in hand, (and unread).

Ned Lamont:Profits Over Connecticut Taxpayers

There is a great deal of money to be made during a crisis.  The Covid-19 crisis has brought about many great opportunities to profit if one has both the political connections along with immunity from the law.  It has been profits over people since March 17 and before here in Connecticut.  For that is the date of the great closing of Connecticut as dictated by Ned Lamont.  This was the date that was the final closing date for many businesses in Connecticut that will never reopen again.  Don't worry, some food was provided by Lamont but it had to be gotten from large supermarket chains and warehouses.  It apparently was much safer to shop there than your local store and for only "essential" items.  Many Mom and Pop stores, small restaurants and service companies will never open again.  Many are still trying to survive and are struggling under the draconian conditions placed upon them through Lamont's Executive Orders.  Phased reopening conditions that in some cases defy both common and economic logic.  Do all restrictions end when Lamont's daughter gets married?
Did Lamont or the Boston Consulting Group ever wonder what would happen to those customers of restaurants (they are not guests) who are eating outside when a sudden rain shower passes through?  Why are they not allowed to go inside the restaurant and finish their meal?  Are their germs different from being outside than inside?  Has Boston Consulting Group determined this somehow?  Obviously Lamont and the Boston Consulting Group have little like or need for the Connecticut restaurant industry even though restaurant customers get to pay a higher state sales tax for the privilege of eating prepared food out.  7.35% versus 6.35%.  Do we get something extra from the state for paying that 1% extra in sales tax?  As can be seen during this crisis the restaurant industry seems not to be necessary in Connecticut in either providing jobs, personal or business income, and or tax revenues.  Apparently we can just forgot about them especially the small ones.  Your life's work and savings can be eliminated with one mere Lamont Executive Order.
Lamont seems to be fixated with a long, gradual and economically painful reopening to the remaining businesses and industries in Connecticut.  You now need certification to reopen.  The Boston Consulting Group with its no bid Taxpayer funded contract wants a long and gradual reopening to the state so that more profits can be forthcoming to select groups with political ties to Connecticut especially themselves.
Testing for Covid-19 and Contact tracing is a given in the long run under the state's reopening and I am sure it will be forced upon Connecticut's Taxpayers as a way to supposedly stop the already stopped Covid-19 virus.  The state's numbers on the virus are way down and the bulks of deaths were sadly found in nursing homes with elderly people.  Little is said about this other than Lamont wants all the employees and patients of nursing and assisted living homes to be tested.  And then what?  A slow death to those who have it?  Or profits to companies that have ties to the state and the Lamonts?  They may include the Boston Consulting Group, One Medical, Core Infomatics, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Oak HC/PT Partners III or others.   Since the state bidding process for these tests and procedures is either secret and or does not exist Connecticut Taxpayers will never find out who gets what. 
Ned Lamont continues to place profits over the Connecticut Taxpayer.  The state seems to be his own new toy to pay back business friends and his own family with profits from the never ending Covid-19 virus.  A virus that has destroyed the state economy while bringing home the cash to the select political elite few.
I am so tired of Connecticut's government constantly ripping off the Connecticut Taxpayer.  The economic rape never ends, as those in state government, the so-called media, all benefiting from these arrangements stand by in virtual silence.

Connect The Connecticut Dots (With Connecticut Taxpayers Monies)

Connect the dots is a game played with Connecticut Taxpayers Monies.  Ned Lamont continues unchecked with daily Executive Orders to stop the spread of Covid-19 while allowing a small mix of businesses to open including the casinos along with hair salons and barbers.  Social distancing of six feet and masks is still required if you need to shop however if you wish to protest on the state highways it is apparently not required.  I wonder if Lamont will clarify that in a new and upcoming Executive Order?
As of June 3 we still do not understand how Boston Consulting Group has received a $2 million dollar no bid state contract for consulting apparently their process that will dictate to the state to reopen.  We do not know who are the actual consultants are nor what they will be doing for their $2 million dollars.  Why is Boston Consulting Group the experts on reopening Connecticut? Could it perhaps be that there is a financial benefit to the Lamont family by the employment of this firm?  You might see some areas of concern as you read further.

We also we are seeing that Thermo Fisher Scientific a company that purchased Core Informatics seems to be gaining a no bid state contract for Covid-19 tests that we are assuming will be mandatory for everyone in Connecticut.  It is interesting to see that Josh Geballe who was appointed by Lamont as his Chief Operating Officer was the former CEO of Core Informatics and more recently was a Vice President/GM for Thermo Fisher Scientific before being appointed by Lamont.  Is it possible that Gabelle still owns Thermo Fisher Scientific shares and incentives while he is employed in oversight to the state?  Is it also possible that one of Ann Lamont's Oak HC/FT hedge funds now owns shares in Thermo Fisher Scientific since the funds were largely responsible for the Core Informatics acquisition at great profit?  Are there no other companies in the country that they get these tests from except from this political connection? Please bear in mind that all of the above are legitimate questions, none whatsoever of which have ever been asked by any media source, legislator, or department head of this state to date as far as I am aware of.   In addition Lamont's wife Ann is part owner/investor in Oak HC/FT Partners III, L.P. fund that is incorporated in the Cayman Islands, a haven for secrecy of financial matters.  This fund was seeded with close to $800 million dollars shortly after the time of the porous Ethics Commission opinion that was issued by the state concerning the possibility of the Lamont's financial dealings while he is Governor.  This same limited partnership invests $156 million dollars in "1Life Medical" that is involved in producing a medical app that has hot buttons for Covid-19 testing.  This was done on February 4, 2020 immediately prior to the onset of the pandemic.  It is amazing how perfectly timed this investment was.
It is also interesting to see the similarities between the 1Life Medical website and the Boston Consulting Group websites.  They look very alike.  It is even more intriguing to note that "One Medical" (dba 1Life Medical) is the go to firm for Covid-19 testing in the State of New York. 

Is it possible that these companies are profiting from Connecticut due to their connections?  Does the longer a shutdown exists in Connecticut and New York, the more "One Medical"and the Lamont's profit from testing?  These are all legitimate questions needing immediate answers for the benefit of all citizens.

Therefore we see that our state officials play connect the dots as a game with Connecticut Taxpayers Monies.  We also see that some of the dots may be tethered to tentacles.  And Connecticut Taxpayers still can not get answers as to what is truly going on with these companies, their contracts, the Lamonts and their investments and with Connecticut Taxpayers Monies.

Connecticut's Government Profit Maze Funded By Connecticut's Taxpayers

I continue to be amazed at the complexities of Connecticut's state government under the rule of Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  50 Executive Orders and growing.  Profits apparently will come at the expense of the Connecticut Taxpayer due to Covid-19 while the state has $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities that is being ignored.  Trying to understand the unclear and draconian guidelines that the secret Reopen Connecticut Committee came up with is a massive task (https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/Office-of-the-Governor/News/20200526-Governors-Reopen-Report.pdf?la=en).  The report forces unrealistic costs on businesses need to take on in order to reopen.  It also is apparent that mandatory testing is essential.   They are also stressing in the report that they are trying "to build trust in reopening plan" (p.41).  How?  Why should  "Wearing a mask is the new normal" (p.40) be forced upon us?   Studies are showing wearing masks cause more harm than good.  Why should Connecticut Taxpayers build trust in a horrific plan to micromanage their lives developed in secret by a bunch of millionaires (some who may profit from Covid-19)?  Their guidelines should be viewed as a bunch of illogical rules and illegal rhetoric that once again eliminates more personal freedoms in the state.  If you read this secret report that seems to be hidden from the public view you will become possibly sick from it due to its content. 
We still do not get any answers nor know what the Boston Consulting Group will be doing to help the state in their "advisory role" for their $2 million dollar Connecticut Taxpayer funded contract?
Nor do we see as Connecticut Taxpayers why the former Connecticut Economic Resource Center is now known as a non profit entity called Advance CT that works with the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD).  Connecticut Taxpayers have helped to finance Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and its massive waste in spending.  Are we now going to subsidize Advance CT?  For example (DECD) "was cited by state auditors for forgiving or modifying state loans to companies totaling $23.6 million and awarding $16 million in excess assistance through the First Five Plus program" (https://yankeeinstitute.org/2020/03/04/decd-dished-out-39-million-in-excess-loans-and-improper-loan-forgiveness-to-companies/).   The First Five program has been an enormous waste of Connecticut Taxpayers monies since its inception and has created few jobs.
Lamont's wife Ann is the Executive Managing member of Oak HC/FT Management Company, LLC (Oak HC/FT) and certain general partnerships for private investment funds managed by them.   Will any of their companies they invest in receive state contracts from this crisis and profit by them? 
Is is also interesting to note that Ned Lamont's Chief of Staff Josh Gabelle was the former Chief Executive Officer of Core Informatics that was sold to Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2017.  However back in 2014 Core Informatics received a massive state contract with $3 million dollars in a state grant by Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD).  (http://www.branfordseven.com/business/branford-based-core-informatics-in-line-for-3-million-in-state-funding/article_ebcc794e-b611-11e3-a0d6-0017a43b2370.html). Connecticut's profit maze seems to be funded by Connecticut Taxpayers.  Ned Lamont seems to be unable to make a decision unless it can somehow be profited from.  Ned Lamont in true Democrat Party fashion does not want to waste a crisis and its profitability.  Ned Lamont is destroying Connecticut by his actions.

Who Is Running Connecticut? Part 2 Of Not Ned Lamont

I am still wondering who is running Connecticut?  I really do not know who is running the state?
Is it Indra Nooyr former CEO of Pepsi who was chosen as Co-Chair of the Reopen Connecticut Committee?  Is she a true "Missionary for CT" as is claimed and has been stated about her.  Is she is a savior to the state even though I am still very confused as to her legal residence?  Is her legal residence Connecticut or Florida as has been recorded in real estate papers from her condo in Miami Beach, Florida?  Tony DeAngelo, who is the Owner of Paragon Trust and a radio commentator with his segment "Ten Minutes With Tony"  heard on on the Lee Elci Show that broadcasts on 94.9 FM New London, Connecticut shared on his Tuesday May 26th segment the homestead issue with Florida and how it contradicts her supposed Connecticut residency?  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-UVE9WPs04&feature=youtu.be)
If we look at residency for elected officials here in Connecticut how do we know that our elected  government officials and department heads are complying with residency rules and laws and filing resident taxes?  Why are we allowing non Connecticut residents who are very wealthy and non elected such as the Reopen Connecticut Committee and Boston Consulting Group to make decisions that impact our state so severely?  Who made this decision?  Ned Lamont?
Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party continue to avoid answering these questions that are being asked on these individuals.  Ten years of job creation have been wiped out in one month by our Governor.   And Connecticut's economy continues to be destroyed because of Lamont's constantly changing and never ending maze of decrees and guidelines that ultimately will cause much more physical and economic harm than good to the Taxpayers and legal Connecticut business owners that remain standing after this debacle. 
What will towns and cities do on August 1 when property tax revenues drop dramatically?   What will the state do when sales tax and corporate tax revenues drop severely over the coming months?  Just raises taxes as usual?  Where has there been any shared sacrifice by Ned Lamont?  He still is taking his full salary and benefits.  Where has there been any shared sacrifice by any Democrat elected official in the state at this time?  There has been none.  Only the Connecticut Taxpayer must sacrifice to continue this charade called state government to operate until its bitter end.

Who Is Running Connecticut? Not Ned Lamont.

This past week was a somewhat very difficult reopening for some Connecticut businesses who were allowed to reopen.   Some Connecticut businesses have not been allowed to reopen yet and some have gone out of business for good.   It also was another week of non-resident Connecticut rule in Connecticut.  The Reopen Connecticut Advisory Committee has supposedly disbanded by the Governor's orders to be replaced apparently by the Boston Consulting Group.  The Boston Consulting Group will advise the state as to how they should reopen through its generous $2 million dollar no bid state contract it received by Ned Lamont.
The co-chair of ill fated and secret 50 member Reopen Connecticut Advisory Committee is an interesting example of a lack of transparency in our government.  For example, Indra Nooyr former CEO of Pepsi was chosen as Co-Chair of this Committee.  I wonder why?  In a state of over 3,500,000 people was she the best choice?   Her family has a home in Greenwich.  Does being a resident of Greenwich qualify one to be in this position?   She and her husband apparently own a luxury condo in Miami, Florida that is for sale (https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2675-S-Bayshore-Dr-PH-1-Miami-FL-33133/2090024211_zpid/).  The issue of this residence was brought to my attention by Tony DeAngelo, who is the Owner of Paragon Trust Company and also is a radio commentator with his segment "Ten Minutes With Tony"  heard on on the Lee Elci Show that broadcasts on 94.9 FM New London, Connecticut.  I wonder if her Florida address is her permanent residence for tax purposes so as to avoid paying our high taxes in Connecticut? We do not know if she is a full time or part time resident of the state.  Since tax records are not public knowledge we have no way of knowing where she pays her taxes since she has multiple residences.  
Is the Boston Consulting Group a Connecticut based corporation?  No it is not.  I have been asked by many people as to why was it chosen for leading the efforts to reopen Connecticut?  Was it political favoritism?  Was it a new example of Ned Lamont's pay to play here in Connecticut?   How did this consulting group become an expert on the Covid-19 virus and the subsequent reopening procedures for Connecticut and other states?  What are their qualifications for this?  In reading their charts and position papers one should become very concerned as to what these "experts" write about.  Quoted from this article (https://www.bcg.com/en-us/publications/2020/lessons-from-asia-economic-recovery-post-covid-19.aspx) "It is a fallacy that in Western economies such dynamic application of the balance between transparency and privacy is not possible. However, care is in order: if the balance shifts too far, it will be incredibly harmful. Citizens’ trust will be further broken, and they will take actions (such as leaving the phone at home or not reporting symptoms) to avoid being detected—a disaster for containment efforts."  Note their statement "they will take actions (such as leaving the phone home.."   Are they advocating that all of our movements need to be followed by our government?  It seems like that to me.  Is Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party afraid where we might assemble?  Is Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party afraid of civil disobedience?  Is Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party afraid we might start questioning the lack of transparency in who is really running our state?  These are major issues that need to be addressed before one cent of Taxpayer's Monies are given to the Boston Consulting Group.
Ned Lamont needs to stop treating the citizens of Connecticut as his personal puppets on a string.   He is an indecisive Governor who seems to be overwhelmed by the magnitude of both his actions and constant changes he makes to his executive orders.  He needs to be transparent.  And more importantly he needs to resign.  We need democracy to be restored in Connecticut today before it is too late.

The New Government Of Connecticut

Connecticut has a new government.   It is a non elected government.  It does not have to answer to Connecticut Taxpayers.  It gets paid a great deal of Connecticut Taxpayers monies to operate without any transparency nor any accountability.  It has replaced what was formerly our Legislative branch of Connecticut government being the State House of Representatives and the State Senate.  It can dictate to Connecticut businesses when and how they can open.  It can dictate the penalties and fines that can be expected for not following their guidelines and rules.  It can replace these guidelines and rules for the Connecticut State Constitution.  It can constantly change at a minutes notice opening rules and dates for Connecticut's businesses with no repercussions or questioning by anyone.  It can decree those individuals who were voted into office non essential and having no longer any say in Connecticut's government. 
Indra Nooyi was appointed co-chair of the Reopen Connecticut Committee that was created to reopen the state.  She was the former CEO of Pepsi Co.  Why was she appointed?  Does she have ties to the Boston Consulting Group?  It is very interesting that on this same committee that there was no members of the general public chosen.  No public comment was allowed to this group.  No transparency.  Everyone was handpicked by Ned Lamont.  Now the surprise of Ned Lamont to disband this committee quickly and have it replaced now by the Boston Consulting Group with a large Connecticut Taxpayer funded contract. 
The Boston Consulting Group you may or may not know has been embroiled in controversy most recently with its work with Isabel dos Santos, the daughter of the former president of Angola, who became a billionaire allegedly by plundering state coffers through various shell companies including a Swiss Jewelery firm named De Grisogono (https://corpwatch.org/article/bcg-mckinsey-pwc-consultants-implicated-angola-corruption-scandal). 
The Boston Consulting Group was given a non bid and undisclosed contract to basically carry out the reopening of Connecticut.  The same graphics and articles written by them  seem to be seen with six other states; New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Delaware.  These states including Connecticut have formed a a regional consortium to reduce competition when purchasing personal protective equipment for use.  It is very interesting to see each state use the Boston Consulting Group graphics when talking about reopening their states and following their guidelines.
I wonder how did Boston Consulting group become an expert on Covid-19?  I wonder how did Boston Consulting group become an expert on Connecticut's economy?  Was it through their political connections with the Democrat Party nationwide?  Was it through their contributions to the Democrat Party?   What value are they offering for $2 million dollars?  Can this be explained somehow?  Why were they chosen?  Can anyone in our state government respond to this?  Why hasn't our state media investigated this?
Ned Lamont is indeed over his head as Governor of Connecticut.  To rely upon a political consulting group to decide the economic future of the state is sickening and will impact our economy for future generations.  This contract and Lamont's actions during this crisis needed to be investigated immediately.  We are no longer safe with Ned Lamont and the Boston Consulting Group in charge of Connecticut.  Stop lying to us Governor Lamont once and for all and resign.

The Brutal Reopening Of Connecticut Small Businesses on May 20, 2020

May 20, 2020.
That is the official day that has been decreed by Executive Order by our ruler Ned Lamont and his secret non public/non transparent consulting group and committee to start a four part process to reopen Connecticut.  A day that could live in the history of Connecticut as to one of the most economically damaging days to the remaining small businesses that will reopen.  We are also looking three more draconian steps on three possible dates in the future that will possibly reopen most of the rest of state. 
In trying to understand and comprehend the series of decrees, new laws and rules that govern business here in the state, one can see that large businesses will have a much easier time to reopen than small businesses.  Small businesses at this time when they least can afford it will be incurring much higher costs of operations to try to do business next week.
A realistic example is the plight of small restaurants in the state.  They are now allowed to serve a limited number of customers in outdoor seating next Wednesday.  How is this defined?  Since zoning laws and regulations differs from town to city depending on where you are located, some restaurants will have greater difficulty in setting up outdoor seating than others.  Looking at several local restaurants here in Wallingford they will have limited outdoor seating due to their location.  How is the dining experience enjoyable if you have to eat outside on a cold evening?  How is the dining experience enjoyable if you are not allowed to talk to people at the restaurant that you wish to talk to? How is the dining experience enjoyable if you must wear masks and only take them off when you are eating?  Obviously if you healthy enough to want to eat at a restaurant the logic behind the masks becomes irrational.  Also I fail to see how restaurants will be profitable at this time offering what amounts to in some cases operating at 5% capacity.  Constant cleaning of all areas at these outdoor venues will also supposedly lead to a safe dining experience.  I wonder who foots the bill for all these new cleaning procedures, cleaning materials, cleaning wipes (that can not be found anywhere), etc?  I can see many small restaurants closing for good over the next few weeks.  Our government does not understand the economics of the restaurant industry in this state.  Take out and to go meals are limited in profitability and in demand.
The new push for fool proof temperature checking is also another illogical and irrational expense for small businesses.  Are the thousands of these new and improved thermometers being distributed fool proof?  Will they work in conjunction with the new 5G secret technology?  What happens if someone traditionally has a low temperature below 98.6? What happens if someone traditionally has a high temperature above 100.4?  Who has decided these measures since the Connecticut Public Health Commissioner was fired and a "new" individual has been selected?  Is Ned Lamont now an expert of a person's temperature?
We have seen over the past sixty days a constant changing of the rules in doing business in the state.  We see that Connecticut deems large box chains, package stores, and medical marijuana stores essential to the state economy.  Small businesses were not deemed essential since March 17, 2020.  The economic logic to this continues to be irrational.
The non transparent Reopen Connecticut Advisory Committee along with a no bid $2 million dollar contract to the Democrat Party friendly Boston Consulting Group are now making all the decisions to reopen the state on their terms with little to no input from Connecticut Taxpayers.  The excessive demands and costs that they are placing on the remaining small Connecticut businesses who are fighting for their economic survival is sickening.   How will they survive?  Our state media who completely backs Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party refuse any investigative reporting on what has been massive violations of our state constitution.  Where is our State Senate and House of Representatives who supposedly "represent" us with an occasional email or press release telling us of yet even new laws that we must live by?  The have been silent and non existent with the exception of Republican State Senator Rob Sampson and Republican State Representative Craig Fishbein. They have abandoned with ease their constitutional responsibility to represent us in Connecticut.
A brutal state economy with high taxes and regulations coupled with overreaching reopening laws has sealed the fate of Connecticut's small businesses.  Is there absolutely no mercy on small businesses in Connecticut?  Why did this happen?  Why?
