Connecticut's Corrupt Democrat Party Elephants In The Living Room

Connecticut's corrupted Democrat Party has many elephants in the living room.  The expression "elephant in the living room" may not be known to everyone.  It basically means that there is an obvious problem that is known and seen by all but it is not talked about.  Corruption in my opinion reigns supreme in Connecticut's state government that is run by the Democrat Party.  The same party that has been in control of state government for well over 30 plus years.  And Connecticut is really not getting any better any time soon with the Connecticut Democrat Party led by Ned Lamont in power.

I am fascinated by the elephants in the living room that the Lamont Administration keeps avoiding with a dormant and complacent (if not complicit), state run media.  How about a real answer to the Sema-4 debacle?   How much money and or profits did the Lamont's hedge fund earn from Sema-4 testing and during the time of the public offering of Sema-4?  Why was such a 2% interest "sweetheart loan" deal made in total silence between Sema-4 and the State of Connecticut?  Where is your personal information going to when it was taken by Sema-4 in the name of Covid-19 testing? Will this personal data be sold to the highest bidder in a bankruptcy proceeding if Sema4 continues to falter? Why is Sema-4 an investment in the Connecticut Employee Retirement Plan?

Advance CT is another example of an elephant in the living room.  I have written about them in the past and my good friend Tony De Angelo has talked about in depth on his weekly segment on the Lee Elci show on 94.9 WJJF, New London, CT.  CERC (Connecticut Economic Resource Center) was around for 25 years and somehow was renamed and spawned a second sham Advance CT organization due to the covert actions of Ned Lamont.  It is a complex organization that has been funded partially by Connecticut Taxpayers with the state paying $2.356 million dollars for items such as marketing, a pass through grant, sponsorship and out of state travel according to Opencheckbookct.  We do not  know their budget, nor what they pay their employees.  Advance CT is apparently considered a non profit that supposedly brings all sorts of new jobs and companies to Connecticut since it such a robust and dynamic economy according to their website Advancect.org.   In reality, according to their 2021 Annual Report they have done very little in the actual creation of new jobs, and or having companies wanting to move to Connecticut.  Through Tony's digging we do know that the clandestine Covid-19 Reopen CT "advise and consent" style group did run (or runs?) in Advance CT under the oversight of Lamont family business associate Dr. Zeke Emmanuel, and the mega-controversial multi-national consulting firm, McKinsey. So we have charitable organizations, exempt from public disclosure, employing the McKinsey consulting company in the functions of government, and citizens have no idea what is taking place.  And Connecticut Taxpayers help support this ostensibly racketeering "non profit"?  For what reason?  Why is there continuing media and political silence for these acts, that are highly illicit at best?

It is obvious to many that Connecticut's corrupt Democrat Party has many elephants in the living room.  Elected officials have turned a deaf ear to them and the result is corruption, theft and deception to Connecticut Taxpayers.  Why must Connecticut Taxpayers monies go to non-profits with no strings attached nor any accountability in the spending of their funds?  Why does Connecticut's state run media avoid at all costs investigative reporting of Ned Lamont's dealings while condemning daily what the income of Gubernatorial challenger Bob Stefanowski may be?  Doesn't Ned Lamont have more wealth than Stefanowski at this point, at least some of which is taking place in offshore tax havens?  But these points are never raised, as it is obvious to see the incredible bias the media has against all things Republican.  It is a debacle that really needs to be addressed once and for all as Connecticut Taxpayers should not be the personal slaves to Connecticut's corrupt Democrat Party and Ned Lamont's many elephants in the living room.  Honesty would be refreshing for a change but we know that can never happen in Connecticut.

Political corruption is accepted, embraced and glorified by all involved in Connecticut.  Connecticut which used to be known as the "Constitution State" should be renamed the "Pachyderm State", or perhaps the second "Jungle Habitat".  Remember that when you vote in November.  And remember more importantly that it is 1776 all over again.

Where Are The Answers to Sema4 And Ned Lamont? Connecticut Taxpayers Would Like To Know

Connecticut state government is a complex instrument that spends enormous amounts of Connecticut Taxpayers monies especially for a state as small as Connecticut.  An average citizen has a difficult time trying to see and understand how and where their monies get spent by our government.  To me, it is meant to be complex and confusing on purpose so that average citizens can not question government officials especially when transactions look suspicious and deceptive.  An example is the continuing saga of Sema4, Mount Sinai Genomics and their ties to Ned Lamont's family hedge fund, no bid state contracts for Covid-19 testing, no-bid Genomics testing and a $15 million dollar 2% interest only sweetheart loan made to them by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development.  My good friend Tony De Angelo on his weekly segment on the Lee Elci radio show on 94.9 WJJF New London, CT has been talking about these payments for over two years now and I have written about them on several occasions.

With respect to the above, known to just a few is a Third Amendment to a state support agreement signed on April 14, 2021, between the State, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development and Mount Sinai Genomics/Sema 4 amending the original support agreement made between these parties back in 2018.  In the 2018 original agreement, Mount Sinai Genomics guaranteed payment of $9.5 million of the $15,000,000 state funded loan to Sema4.  However, this Third Amendment releases Mount Sinai Genomics from the loan and its payment, leaving faltering Sema4 to pay its own debts, and if that does not work, the loan then becomes a casualty to taxpayers.  In case you have not been following in the news Sema4 is shutting down all operations in Connecticut, laying 250 employees off and moving now to Maryland in a huge "pump and dump" disappearing act well-known to Connecticut Taxpayers  What becomes even more hard to understand for common citizens is the relationship of Mount Sinai Genomics/Sema4 to Ned Lamont's family hedge fund, their investments in the company and profits they have earned.  And an even more troubling question is what is being done from the forced Genomics testing that they did on Connecticut citizens: why do they own this data, for what purpose and at what profit to the company?  But for Tony De Angelo wrestling these documents from the Connecticut Department of Health, no citizen would ever know this despicable practice had even occurred.

Is this a conflict of interest for Ned Lamont's family hedge fund, Mount Sinai Genomics/Sema4, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development that a Governor in office can allow this type of agreement to be in effect and apparently loans can be forgiven while profits are made all during a "crisis" that still seems to be in effect in the state two years later?  Is this a conflict of interest for Ned Lamont's family hedge fund, Mount Sinai Genomics/Sema4, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development that a Governor in office can allow Sema4 to shut down and move out of the state, and in essence default legally on its loan?  Is this a conflict of interest for Ned Lamont's family hedge fund, Mount Sinai Genomics/Sema4, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development that a Governor in office can allow all of these agreements to be shrouded in secrecy and only be extricated by legal pressure?

For two years the Ned Lamont and Connecticut Democrat Party Covid-19 crisis and debacle continues.  Apparently many questions go unanswered daily on this issue and many others that cost Connecticut Taxpayers millions upon millions of dollars.  Connecticut still has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt and unfunded liabilities.  It is an economically bereft state with high taxes, poor infrastructure, economically incoherent state union labor agreements, high crime, theft and murders, rampant illegal drug trafficking and drug abuse, and a lack of ethics spewing out of its Governor's office.  This issue needs to be resolved and Connecticut Taxpayers need an answer now.  All state no bid Covid-19 contracts between Ned Lamont's family hedge fund companies and the state need to be reviewed and made public.  What is happening is an excellent example of how our state government has failed its citizens.  It can not be made to look like it is ethical because it is not and never was.  Connecticut taxpayers have been lied to since Ned Lamont took office.  Where are the answers?  Many want to know.

And it is 1776 all over again.

The $45,150,000 Ned Lamont Sema-4 Debacle For Connecticut Taxpayers

What's another $45,150,000 to Connecticut Taxpayers who are already in debt for roughly $150 billion dollars of short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities at this time?  The $45,150,000 is what Sema 4 has been able to obtain with little to no oversight in Covid-19 and Genomics testing from the State of Connecticut.  Loans and unknown billings and payments that in many cases continue not to be reconciled nor disclosed as of today.  This is all public information as found on the website: (/opencheckbook.ct.gov/#!/year/All%20Years/explore/0-/vendor/SEMA4+GENOMICS/1/service).  My good friend Tony De Angelo on his weekly segment on the Lee Elci radio show on 94.9 WJJF New London, CT has been talking about these payments for over two years now and I have written about them on several occasions.  Incredibly Sema 4 is now laying people off.  250 Connecticut employees were laid off and the Branford location will be closing at the end of the year.  They apparently are moving to Maryland.

But wait! What about the State of Connecticut loan of $15 million dollars to this politically connected company?  Will that be repaid?  Or was it a typical Connecticut Democrat Party loan that does not need to be paid back nor accounted for in the corrupted political world of Connecticut since it apparently was approved in secret?   Why are many of the invoices that Sema 4 was paid for still not reconciled in the state ledger?  What did Sema 4 do with the State of Connecticut loan money?  What was the role of the Lamont's family hedge fund with Sema 4 and how was there no conflict of interest seen between the Governor and this company?  Is there any accountability for it and or questioning by any state oversight agency as to the money spent?  We still do not have answers from two years ago as to the companies that have had investments made in them by Oak HC/FT Partners relating to the Covid-19 crisis include "Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Infomatics", "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", and "VillageMD" to name a few.   They seem to all have ties to Connecticut also in the form of contracts to do business with the State of Connecticut, its non profits, or surrounding states via no bid contracts.  Connecticut Taxpayers still do not how much profit was made by Oak HC/FT Partners and the Lamont family  from these contracts and or companies.  What about a securities fraud law firm, asking for an investigation of Sema4 Holdings Corp. on behalf of its investors this past week?  Again why is this not an issue in the current campaign for Governor?  Why can't Connecticut Taxpayers get answers?

Why does corporate welfare continue in Connecticut?  Do Connecticut Taxpayers and the economy gain anything other than lies and smoke screens from corporate welfare?  What purpose and economic value did the $45,150,000 worth of payments provide Connecticut Taxpayers?  Why was Sema 4 given a $15, 000,000 loan only to have their business decline, lay workers off and basically move out of state?  No questions asked by any elected official in the state about this.

Truth continues to be in short supply with Ned Lamont, his family's hedge fund and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Ned Lamont really needs to come clean with the secret web he has woven around his financial interests financed by the Connecticut Taxpayers.  The Connecticut Democrat party lead by  Ned Lamont apparently feels that Connecticut Taxpayers need to be enslaved by them and their financial interests.  The Connecticut Democrat party led by Ned Lamont created a great deal  of economic damage because of their Covid-19 restrictions, decrees and ruthless shutdowns of the states economy.  They decided  it was OK for for those elderly and ill trapped in homes and rehab centers due to their incoherent "health and safety" guidelines to die a slow death from Covid-19.  It is sickening what this state has gone through because of these policies.  The failures of Ned Lamont can not be seen nor spoken about by the state run media as his only concern has been making a buck off Connecticut Taxpayers.  Enough is enough.

And it is 1776 all over again

Why Can't Poor People Feel Safe In Democrat Controlled Crime Infested Connecticut Cities?

Does anyone think that poor people who live in the most crime infested cities in Connecticut feel safe?  I am talking about those people who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled that are forced to live in the crime driven cities of Bridgeport, Hartford and or New Haven.  I am not talking about the illegal drug dealers, slum lords and or criminals that walk freely and are never prosecuted for their crimes in these same streets.  Three cities that are all led by the Democrat Party and three cities that have received massive bailouts over the years financed by Connecticut Taxpayers.  What really has this never ending Democrat one party rule help provide them?  Massive crime?  Massive illegal drug dealing, illegal drug use and drug overdoses too numerous to mention?  The same inhumane living conditions that have been part of these cities since the 1970's?  Failing schools where students are pushed through grades to be promoted even though they can not master basic reading and writing skills?  I really wonder sometimes why the Connecticut Democrat Party wants to inflict these substandard and horrific living conditions on these poor people while they live in their sheltered police protected worlds of gated homes and communities.  While those who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled, must live a lawless inferno of crime, drugs and murders in these same cities, and fear for their lives daily.

However I still know Connecticut citizens who have lived and worked their entire lives in these cities and still somehow believe in their cities and are still living and working there.  I also know many who have fled to much safer places both in and out of Connecticut.  Having taught at an inner city Community College in New Haven for many years I saw a general decline first hand in the city.   I also had many minority students ask me for career advice so that they could get out of the slums of their city and lead a better life.  For many years on the first two nights of class I would bring in notebooks, paper, binders and supplies to give out to the students and I would never come home with anything left.  On the last night of class I would lecture my students as to never being broke, to depend on themselves to be successful and at the end of the lecture I would give them Presidential dollar coins for both themselves and children/grandchildren (if they had any) telling them that they can and will succeed in life and never be broke.   I tried to help them as best I could as I could see the helplessness on many of their faces.  I did have several students in these classes become great success stories in that they were able to graduate from college, have a successful career and raise their loving families.  Many left the cities they were born in.  They left the dysfunctional,  debilitated and politically poisoned cities of their youth knowing these cities are not getting better any time soon.    Also I am saddened to know that many of my students could not handle college and quit, failed and or dropped out.  I can never forget one of the last times I left my night class from that same inner city Community College in New Haven while I was going to my car (I no longer teach there), I was shocked.  I saw the waste of a city with homeless people on the sidewalks, being asked for money by panhandlers and individuals who in my opinion needed psychological help.  To me it was both sad and pathetic.  Why did it get this bad?

Why have these cities descended into this cesspool of crime forcing those people who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled that are forced to live there fearing for their lives daily?  I am fascinated by the Democrat multi-millionaire politicians who rule Connecticut such as Ned Lamont, Richard Blumethal and Rosa DeLauro and have been in power for years really could care less for these poor people.  Because if they really cared they would be advocates of enforcing criminal laws and prosecuting criminals, supporting the police forces of these communities not de-funding them, eliminating illegal drugs flowing into those cities by cartels who now roam free at our borders by closing our borders, and getting people essential psychological help who now are allowed to live in squalor on the streets rather than micromanaging Covid-19 for their own financial and political benefit.  It is pathetic.

Changes are essential in Connecticut's large crime infested cities.  People who are poor even  though they may be working, elderly on fixed incomes and or those who are disabled that are forced to live in these same cities deserve the same freedom from crime that our Democrat multi-millionaire politicians who rule Connecticut such as Ned Lamont, Richard Blumethal and Rosa DeLauro enjoy in their gated security based compounds.  Again crime, murder, and illegal drug use should not be the norm and an inherent part of people lives who live in the cities.  That is why we used to have a legal system to address crime, murder and illegal drugs but in 2022 we apparently no longer have this luxury in the state.  Somehow in theory liberalism eliminated all these bad things in our cities while in reality liberalism has only made it worse.

I think many people are fed up with these ruthless violations of both their personal freedoms and safety that happen on a daily basis.  They want answers not more lies being force fed them daily by elitist politicians who have little perception of reality.  They want a chance at a better life. Why can't they have it?  Why are they suppressed and always conquered by carpetbagging politicians?

And it is 1776 all over again.

The Crime Spree Of Democrat Connecticut

Crime, illegal drugs and murder should also be a campaign issue in the upcoming election in Connecticut.  Connecticut in the opinion of many is no longer safe.  A recent brazen robbery in broad daylight in front of a Greenwich downtown restaurant that was captured on video shows how bad crime has become in the state.  Car thefts including the theft of license plates are a daily ritual with gangs of thieves many juvenile delinquent, career criminals that have no respect for life, private property or the laws that we others must abide by.  Why has Connecticut descended into this cesspool of crime as a vocation for these criminals?

The Connecticut Democrat Party embraces liberalism in all forms.  Crime, illegal drugs and murder seem to be a bump in the road of liberalism, thus the liberal theory becomes that these criminals should be treated with the utmost respect, and not be punished for their crimes and the victims of these crimes need to suck it up and accept they have greater privileges than the criminals and should be happy they are the victims of these crimes.  Sounds irrational?  It is irrational to see our legal system cater to criminals while victims of their crimes must suffer both emotional and financial loss.  Does anyone wonder why car insurance is very expensive in Connecticut?  Could it be the amount of car thefts/catalytic converter thefts that have taken place over the past few years?  The solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party is to let the car thieves roam free.  How does that address the problem?  Governor Lamont finally has signed legislation to somehow address car theft with his weak "Stolen Vehicle Bill Public Act 22-115"  Why does it take years of car thefts for the Governor in an election race for his political life to finally act?  What took him so long?  Fear of losing his rule by Executive Order Governorship?  The damage has been done, and this law is too little too late.

Murder in the state is no longer punishable by the death penalty.  How does help prevent murder in the state when the murderer knows he or she will be given a life sentence in jail and be taken care of until they die?  Why don't the victim's families have any rights in the murder of their loved one?  Why does murder continue to be an issue in the Democrat led cities of Bridgeport, Hartford and New Haven?  Things have not changed much over the years and the same social and economic problems plague these cities.  Connecticut Taxpayers have spent millions upon millions of dollars in these cities with little to no result to rectify this problem.

Illegal drug use, deaths from drug overdoses are still a major issue in the state that has only gotten worse with the Connecticut Democrat Party and their draconian shutdowns during the never ending Covid-19 crisis.  Depression and suicides are rampant with our younger generations.  Now we have a  free flowing supply of harmful illegal drugs flowing into our country because of an open border that allows drug cartels to flourish once again.  Why is this happening?

Legal law abiding Connecticut citizens should not have to live in the constant fear of having their cars stolen, being robbed at gun point in broad daylight, being mugged, and/or see the sheer volume of illegal drugs being sold on their neighborhood streets.  The Connecticut Democrat Party own these horrific issues and their misguided programs and liberal laws have nurtured an unsafe Connecticut.  Criminals need to pay for their illegal and inhumane actions not the victims of their actions.  Common sense and the respect for the rules and laws of society need to be enforced by a functional judicial system.  People are fed up with these ruthless violations of both their personal freedoms and safety that happen on a daily basis.  And it is 1776 all over again.

The Moral Bankruptcy Of Democrat Led Connecticut

Full-blown moral bankruptcy is now here in Connecticut.  For all of its legal citizens and taxpayers to see and experience.  Compliments of the Connecticut Democrat Party.  My good friend Tony De Angelo recently discussed his thoughts on moral bankruptcy on his weekly segment this past Tuesday July 5th on the Lee Elci radio program heard on WJJF 94.9 FM, New London, CT.

Connecticut is a state where many non logical and incoherent concepts and ideas are force fed its citizens.  Murder for example can not be punishable by the death penalty since that is considered to be inhumane.  Was it inhumane for the person or persons to be murdered by an individual in the first place?  Why is murder allowed and is so prevalent in Connecticut?  The one who commits the murder is spared his or her life.  Why?  Drug overdoses and drug deaths are commonplace in the state as there is now a free flow of drug cartels operating out of the open Mexican borders to our country providing illegal drugs everywhere.  Is it essential that these borders are open to facilitate a drug cartel operation that kills and murders many of our teenagers and young adults in the state?  Marijuana and its derivatives have become legal in the state and the state has embarked upon a very complex licensing program that does not offer any logic as to who sells these "legal" drugs.  Legal drugs will be sold in the state, the state profits and more lives will be disrupted and more drug addicts created all for greater state tax revenue.  Is this the best economic stimulation that the state can come up with-illegal now legal drugs?

What is next?  Heroin shooting galleries licensed by Connecticut's Department of Health?  Why is this allowed?  Children in schools rather than being taught essential skills to live and have careers are taught now instead about critical race theories, racism, a rewriting of American history, gender identification to the point of changing your sex before you are a teen without your parent's permission, how to wear a mask and the essential need to be vaccinated against a flu virus.  Why be a child today with the amount of depressing and incoherent political ideologies being force fed them?  Political ideologies that make our youth ill suited for any type of job or career or have an ability to raise a family?  Doesn't a child's parent have custody and are responsible for the child's well being and education from right versus wrong-not a failed, false narrative created by a liberal state government that is being jammed down their throats?  I can see why home schooling will be the norm for the future education of our children.  Education is not education in any sense of the word whatsoever in our schools today.

And why is abortion a guaranteed right of our state constitution that must be paid for by Connecticut Taxpayers up to a child that is considered full term when delivered?  Doesn't the unborn child have any rights when its heart starts beating?  Why are Christians in the state disrespected and vilified when they disagree with abortion?  Why isn't freedom of speech allowed when one disagrees with the concepts and morals of abortion?  If in theory it is your body and you have control over it why are we not allowed to reject an unproven vaccine for a flu virus and not lose your jobs, businesses and homes over it as has been seen with the never ending Covid-19 crisis?  Is abortion safer than the Covid-19 virus?  Don't both abortions and Covis-19 kill?  What about the 63 million deaths attributed to abortion since 1973?  Why would a state want to be known as an "abortion getaway'?  Why would a business want to move to such a morally bankrupt state such as Connecticut with the economic quagmire it is engulfed in of high taxes, high energy costs, excessive state short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities of $150 billion dollars, poor infrastructure, political corruption, absurd and senseless rules and laws along with a corrupted state government?  This is being "inclusive'?

And Christians need not be afraid of speaking up.  I believe that the majority of Americans have strong moral religious beliefs and are sick and tired of this freak show called America that is displayed to them daily by an incomprehensible state run media of political correctness blabbering gibberish minute by minute, 24 hours a day, to advance their failed agenda of communism, socialism and totalitarianism in our free country.

Moral bankruptcy has engulfed Democrat led Connecticut for years now.  Moral bankruptcy seems to the norm for the Democrat Party of America.  A lack of morals, a lack of ethics, a lack of truth and a lack of leadership has helped to trap its legal citizens into a morass of butchery, lies and deception.  It is a modern day trip through a Dante's like Inferno of a distorted and ill begotten path towards both economic and societal ruin.    It is Connecticut in 2022.  A Connecticut that is a living social and economic nightmare thanks to the Connecticut Democrat Party.   That is the reality of Connecticut.  And it is 1776 all over again.

What Are The Solutions To The Connecticut Democrat Party's Economic Failures?

I look back at the last two years since the Covid-19 economic crisis was bestowed upon Connecticut and wonder what really happened?  I also look back at the last 30 years and wonder why Connecticut has regressed so badly economically and socially?   Years of  omnipotent one party rule of the Connecticut Democrat Party along with a feeble and timidity moderate Republican Party in many cases has helped to nurture Connecticut into a vast economic wasteland of high taxes, excessive laws and regulations, an arrogant and elitist state union work force, a political patronage system of Connecticut Taxpayer funded state jobs, excessive electric costs, secret "quasi public" agencies, a total lack of economic transparency and a general sense of economic Armageddon on a daily basis.  This year's election highlights how this same economic Armageddon is being talked up by the Connecticut Democrat Party as how great of an economic utopia Connecticut really is.  What economic world does the Connecticut Democrat Party live in?  And realistically what is the economic breaking point for Connecticut Taxpayers with runaway Democrat inflation, $5 a gallon for gas, $6 a gallon for home heating oil, state and local taxes anywhere and everywhere along with an even higher state diesel tax on July 1?

Connecticut is in an economic free for all due to the mountain of economic problems that have been created by the Connecticut Democrat Party over the years.  The cure all Connecticut state income tax has been a ticket to increase spending massively since its passage and has done little to stabilize Connecticut's economy.  Look at the state budget now.  Why is over $24 billion dollars being spent on a yearly basis in a state as small as Connecticut and with as few legal citizens that it has?  What are Connecticut Taxpayers getting for their money and their excessive taxes they are paying the state?  Connecticut's elected officials continue to avoid a real solution to the massive $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt, along with unfunded liabilities or in simpler terms the $62,500 plus of debt each legal Connecticut resident must be burdened with living in the state.  This along with the massive amount of corruption in state government should be the two defining issues in the Governor's race.  Sadly it is not.

For too long in Connecticut Taxpayers work around the clock to pay the taxes to support the economic debacle called state government.  With the precious few exceptions in the State House and State Senate, our elected officials are political puppets of the special interest groups that have elected them.  Look at the high property taxes in Bridgeport, New Have and Hartford.  Look at the crime, murders and lack of economic mobility in Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford.

And look at who has run Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford forever.

Thus can we offer any economic solutions to Connecticut's Democrat Party induced economic crisis?   What Connecticut really needs is an overhaul of its state government and massive privatization of state agencies and departments to create greater economic efficiencies in state government.  Since that will not happen as the sacred cow in Connecticut is public labor unions, then what are the alternatives?

First Connecticut needs to cut its bloated state budget.  Connecticut's government must learn to do more with less as Connecticut Taxpayers must with the runaway Democrat inflation they are dealing with.  As a start all state management employees should be instructed by the Governor that their budgets need to be cut by 10% immediately.  Figure it out, find a way and solution now.  Connecticut taxpayers are led to believe that these highly paid Commissioners and managers are the best and brightest in the state so they should be able to do this.  Or is it reality that these same Commissioners and managers are ill suited and unqualified to lead their departments as they are only political patronage jobs from both parties so that the donor can be rewarded for that big campaign donation and or no bid state contract?

Second every Connecticut state agency, associated non-profit, and "quasi public" needs a full forensic audit and public online document disclosure  from top to bottom.  A full accounting of every penny spent, every piece of equipment, every building and piece of real estate owned.  If items are missing find them and account for them.  See where money is being spent and wasted.  I can only imagine how much fraud and monetary losses this encompasses.

Third since Connecticut would be cutting the budget by over $2 billion dollars as a start with its 10% cut in every department, then $2 billion dollars in taxes need to be cut immediately.  Start with cutting taxes that will spur the most economic activity in the state to once again stimulate the economy that in turn creates more productive tax revenues.  And eliminate all corporate business tax subsidies and giveaways, including the failed Department of Economic and Community Development.  It has done little to nothing for the state economy other than to waste Connecticut taxpayers hard earned money and should be viewed as political payoffs especially for Ned Lamont's family hedge fund.

There are solutions to the Connecticut Party's economic failures over the past 30 years.  But the changes are severe and politically unpopular.  And the larger question that is never answered is why must Connecticut Taxpayers continue to support this malignant munificence upon a political ruling class that clearly has no ability to govern and represent the common citizens its supposedly represents?  Why must Connecticut Taxpayers support this year in and year out?  And where are the solutions being spoken by the minority party through this economic tsunami?  Think about this as you are forced to pay your mandated taxes to the State of Connecticut to support this incoherent and costly gibberish that is claimed as law.  It really is 1776 all over again.

More Questions With No Answers On Connecticut's Genome Profit Testing

My blog last week dealt with the costs and privacy issues of Sema-4's genome testing on Connecticut residents who have apparently been tested for Covid-19.  Last Tuesday Tony De Angelo who has a weekly radio spot with Lee Elci on WJJF 94.9 FM radio in New London, CT continued to question these issues with Ned Lamont, Sema-4,  payments to Sema-4, and genome testing.  Again this past week there has been deafening silence from the state run media and from both political parties on these severe breaches of continuing payments to Sema-4 and your medical privacy.  More payments were made this past week to Sema-4.  They include $2,905,575. on June 14, 2022 and $1,623,075 on June 15, 2022.  Prior to this $2.1 million dollars worth of payments were made to Sema-4 on April 30, 2022  after they supposedly quit all testing in the state in March 2022.  Sema-4 then received $6.6 million dollars in payments from April 30, 2022 to June 2, 2022.  Why all these payments?  Is Connecticut healthier now than before?  It does not seem so especially with all of the different Democrat Party related crisis Connecticut citizens must deal with such as infant formula shortages, rampant crime and theft, runaway inflation for food, businesses moving out of the state, a nursing shortage, runaway inflation for gasoline, diesel, and heating oil and high local/state taxes.

My questions that apparently will not get answered anytime soon are as follows as related to genome testing: How are all of these payments made possible with little evidence of purchase orders, work orders and why are the payments being made so quickly now?  One right after the other?  How many genome tests were done and to who in the state?  Were these state residents notified of these tests and in what manner?  How much were these tests costing Connecticut Taxpayers?  $250?  More?  Less? What do these tests prove and or disprove?  Again I thought a citizens medical information is private and was not being data mined to a company like Sema-4?  And why was this information so essential to the never ending Covid-19 crisis?  A crisis in which those who were most vulnerable were never protected by Governor Ned Lamont and his family's hedge fund workings or the state as seen by the amount of deaths in the states nursing and rehabilitation homes.

Government actions need to be questioned.  Especially in the case of genome testing and payments. Personally I no longer believe our government has its common citizens best interests in mind with the unyielding and omnipotent power government at all levels exhibits on its citizens.  The same citizens who toil endlessly in a maze of governmental bureaucracy, corrupt non profits and "quasi-publics", and incoherent laws, rules and regulations to satisfy the false narratives that government dictates.  Washington and Hartford is a quagmire of theft and deception whose only concern is personal political gain and profit.  It is beyond being a swamp.

I would again like to thank a common Connecticut citizen, Tony De Angelo, and the Lee Elci radio show for this investigative work in exposing this rape of personal freedoms in the state and rip off of Connecticut Taxpayers.

This issue will continue to be a defining issue on the Governors race.  Connecticut's government continues to be an unethical and incoherent debacle.  I guess lies are truth and truth are lies when it comes to genome testing and paying for them.  However one day truth will prevail again in our society.  It is 1776 all over again.

Democrat Connecticut-Where You Have No Medical Privacy Especially For Genome Testing

Why isn't our medical information private? Why is this information allowed to be shared with a company that has direct ties to Ned Lamont's families hedge fund?  Where are the actual contracts that allowed this to happen?  How much is it costing Connecticut Taxpayers for this supposed legal theft of personal information?

Tony De Angelo who has a weekly radio spot with Lee Elci on WJJF 94.9 FM radio in New London, CT was the first individual in the state to bring these issues with Ned Lamont, Sema-4, payments to Sema-4, and genome testing to light for the public.  I like to expand and bring this issue back into the public view of Connecticut Taxpayers and voters.   When reading Connecticut's state run media news reports one finds little to no information on this issue.  Why is that?  Fraud seems to have taken place, payments have been made to Sema-4 with apparently no paperwork involved, and amazingly once again Ned Lamont's family hedge fund has profited off the backs of Connecticut Taxpayers.

Why did Sema-4 receive a second no bid state contract for genome testing on Connecticut's children and other Connecticut citizens?  If one looks closely at the contract one would see that genome testing was taking place on any individual no matter age who tested positive for Covid-19.  The information on this was apparently then kept by Sema-4 and then sent to a database in Munich, Germany (this is considered the subcontractor in the work order).  Two purchase orders were issued by the State Public Health Department one for $688,500 and one for $500,000.  The time frame for these two purchase orders was September 28, 2021 for payments.  If one looks at the Connecticut record of payments made to vendors you can see that $2.1 million dollars worth of payments were made to Sema-4 on April 30, 2022  after they supposedly quit all testing in the state in March 2022.  Sema-4 then received $3.6 million dollars in payments from April 30, 2022 to June 2, 2022.  What were these payments for?  Were any purchase orders and or contracts issued for these payments?  There seems to be a massive amount of errors, back tracking, breaking of the contract, not breaking of the contract, why they were paid, where data went, where data did not go, and damage control to justify the additional $3.6 million dollars worth of payments that were made to Sema-4 on April 30, 2022  after they supposedly quit all testing in the state in March 2022.   However in my opinion it is impossible to both understand and to justify these payments other than Ned Lamont's family hedge fund has a financial interest in Sema-4 that obviously runs much deeper than Connecticut Taxpayers interests and ethics.

Also what happens when Ned Lamont loses the election for Governor?  How will Ned Lamont's family hedge fund continue to make money off of Connecticut Taxpayers?

The bigger question is why did this personal medical information on genome testing take place?  And why is this information now in some sort of database in Munich, Germany?  Who can see it and why must they see it?  Was the Covid-19 virus just a big experiment to gain profits for an elite few such as Sema-4 and Ned Lamont's family hedge fund?  I thought your personal medical information was private and not part of a vast socialist experiment by a ruthless political ruling class?  Sadly all of my questions and questions of many others continue to go unanswered.  I would like to thank a common Connecticut citizen, Tony De Angelo, and the Lee Elci radio show for this investigative work in exposing a horrific debacle of payments and testing that never should have happened nor been paid out.

This issue will be a defining issue on the Governors race.  Connecticut's government is an unethical and incoherent debacle.  It is 1776 all over again.

The Connecticut Democrat Party Has Lost The Middle Class vote In 2022

Inflation, inflation and more inflation.  Taxes, taxes and more taxes. Food staples in short supply.  Infant formula in short supply. Another day of $150 billion dollars worth of short and long term debt and unfunded liabilities and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of high inflation and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of $6+ per gallon heating oil used to heat homes and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of inflationary energy prices making driving to work a luxury for the middle class and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of excessive diesel fuel prices that are crippling the trucking industry and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont. Another day of not knowing how much in profits were made unethically and illegally during the manufactured Covid-19 crisis by Ned Lamont's family hedge fund and still no word on a solution by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.  Another day of no solutions to any of Connecticut's problems by the Connecticut Democrat Party or Ned Lamont.

The Middle Class in Connecticut continues to be attacked on all sides.  Those with children in public schools see little actual education going on but a great deal of indoctrination on sex education, gender change, while privilege,  BLM, socially correct history, proper gender pronoun use, distorted math problems,  socialism and communism.  Parents who are now shocked by this garbage being taught their children are now pulling their children out of public schools and home schooling them and or trying to enroll them into charter schools.  The Middle Class in Connecticut is many cases are working more than one job to try to make ends meet due to the excessively high taxation, high energy prices, high food prices, high housing prices, high utility prices, and to protect their families from the excessive crime in the state.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut have lost their businesses during the Lamont shutdowns.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut have lost their income from rental properties during the Lamont shutdowns.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut who are retired are going to be forced by to go back to work quickly, give up food or go broke since their investments continue to drop in value.  Many of the Middle Class in Connecticut continue to move out on a daily basis for many years now.  What is their future and hope to stay in a state such as Connecticut with everything around them being so socially incoherent and economically illogical?  Why must they support a state government so out of touch with both social and economic reality?  Why must they take orders from a bunch of politically elite and politically corrupted individuals?  Why must they sacrifice so that Connecticut's employee unions, elected officials and politically connected profit off their labor?  Why is this right?

The Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont has lost the Middle Class vote this coming November.    No matter how they wish to twist the grim economic reality of Connecticut it has lost completely this voting block and group.  Say goodbye to them.  No amount of cruel and unlimited abortions will get them back either.  They lost them.  The Connecticut Republican Party needs to understand this. What the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont don't understand is that the Connecticut Middle Class is beyond their breaking point and have had enough of their lies.  What the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont don't understand is that the Connecticut Middle Class truly understands completely the games these political hacks play and how they have damaged the state's economy to almost a point of no return.  The Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont forgets that the Middle Class knows that the state still ranks last or near last in most economic categories, is in the top five state in the country for the highest taxes and has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  The Connecticut Middle Class or whats left of it will not accept the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont's lies any more.  The Connecticut Middle Class are not fools nor slaves any more to the Connecticut Democrat Party and Ned Lamont.  It is 1776 once again.

The Connecticut Democrat Party New Tax And Spend Budget-Just More Of The Same

It seems like it is always more of the same with the Connecticut Democrat Party when it comes to the new state budget.  Every two years Connecticut always seems to have some economic/employment crisis that impacts its budget.  It has been the same since the infamous Lowell Weicker/Democrat Party state income tax was passed back in 1991.  If the state income tax was not passed then Connecticut apparently would have sunk into the Atlantic Ocean or better yet would have had to cut state spending.  As a tradition each year state spending and state taxes go up.  To the point today that a state as small as Connecticut and with a declining state population now is spending over $24.2 billion dollars in its next budget.  That seems like a great deal of money for a state that continues to rank last or near last in all economic categories, highest taxes in the country, still has not recovered from the 2008-09 recession and has a mere $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  And realistically this new budget looks a great deal the same as previous Connecticut Democrat Party budgets, more cash for state employees, more cash for those who are politically connected to the Connecticut Democrat Party, more corporate welfare payments to those who are politically connected to the Connecticut Democrat Party, higher taxes especially for the trucking industry in this budget, more money for education, more money for social welfare programs and free health care for illegal immigrants in the state.

In this new budget I especially enjoy reading the $2,000,000 being given for direct flights to Jamaica at Bradley Airport.  I did not realize that there was such a demand by state taxpayers to fly to Jamaica nor did I realize that they are responsible for both subsidizing the flights and paying for their air flight tickets to this country.  For the apparently overworked judiciary employees/judges a mere 5% per year raise after the massive increases they just got in 2021.  For example a Superior Court Judge pay was increased from $180,460 to $189,483.  Nor overlooked is the area of non union pay increases in most departments and lump sum payments accounting for a 2.5% pay increase for each of the next three fiscal years, 7.5% in total and $3500 in lump sum payments combined for the next two fiscal years.  Thus it seems apparent that non union state employees are getting the same pay increases just like the massive union pay package that was negotiated behind closed doors this year. The Urban Act got an addition $120 million dollars of which $20 million dollars is authorized for apparently low income housing.  These are just a few areas I looked at in the 243 page Act to adjust the state budget never mind the state budget itself.

It is sad that the 243 page Act to adjust the state budget that was passed isn't the leading news story on Connecticut's state run and subsidized media.  The outcry from it I believe would be enormous as to where Connecticut Taxpayers monies are spent and on what.  It a free for all of giveaways for anything and everything in the state.  And sadly with another $24.2 billion dollars being spent it will do little to improve a state that continues to rank last or near last in all economic categories, still has not recovered from the 2008-09 recession and has a mere $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities along with yet even higher taxes coming.   Good money keeps being spent after bad money.  More money to fund pet local projects.  More money for state employees salaries, benefits and pensions.  More money lost in corporate welfare schemes to keep a few jobs temporarily in Connecticut before the business moves to a lower taxed state.  More money spent on bonds and now much higher interest rates on borrowed money.  More garbage being force fed to Connecticut Taxpayers.  This budget proves to me there is little change in Connecticut and spending continues to increase, taxes keep going up and nothing changes.  And the next budget will easily surpass $25 billion dollars and more.  And the one after that ditto, etc.  Nothing changes.  And throw in pay raises for State Legislators and we add insult to injury.

Thus the Connecticut Taxpayer has yet another conundrum to solve in the upcoming election.  They are being told by Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party how great the state has become over the past two and four years under their leadership.  The reality they see is the same stale rhetoric being spoken not does not work.  They see a state where their family and friends are moving out daily.  They see a state where they are no longer safe with crime and car thefts spiraling out of control.  They see a state where drug abuse, drug overdoses and suicides are accepted with little if anything being done about it.  They see a state where abortions must be legally guaranteed and children's sexes (for those who are not proudly aborted) must be changed beginning at a young age and paid for by insurance companies.  They see a state where the elderly and disabled lives were deemed worthless during the manufactured and profitable Covid-19 crisis by the irrational policies that were implemented, deemed as law under the Governor's Executive Orders, those same people had to suffer a painful death trapped in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers from the virus.  They see a state where lies are cited as truth and the truth destroyed as a lie.  Connecticut Taxpayers seem to have had enough of this abuse and misuse of their monies supporting a corrupted state government.  It is 1776 all over again.

The Connecticut Democrat Party's War On The Trucking Industry

The Connecticut Democrat Party has declared war on the Trucking industry.  The war will help create more inflation for Connecticut Taxpayers in the future as the cost to deliver goods and services will skyrocket in the state.  Why are they picking on truckers who day in and day out deliver essential items to our state economy without ego nor fanfare?  Why are they so bad?

For those who have forgotten Connecticut Democrat Party HB6688 law of June 2021 becomes effective in 2023 that creates a Highway Use Fee  or truck tax of .025 to .175 cents per mile driven for all trucks in Connecticut and all for all trucks that pass through the state.  This cash grab by the Connecticut Democrat Party was signed into law by Ned Lamont as a way to fund highway/road repairs, etc. in the state.  We all know this tax will somehow find its way into the catch all general fund and be used for things other than transportation.  Who will pay this tax?  Connecticut taxpayers of course.  How do goods get delivered to businesses, stores and homes in the state?  Do the members of the state legislature deliver them by their personal cars?  Or is it by trucks? Where do all the taxes that are paid for by the trucking industry currently go?  Is it salaries, benefits and pensions of state unionized employees?

Another new horrific law for the trucking industry is for California based implemented emissions laws to become effective with Democrat Party sponsored House Bill 5039 that according to the bill:

"The bill authorizes the Department of Energy and Environmental
Protection (DEEP) to adopt regulations implementing California’s
medium- and heavy-duty motor vehicle standards and requires the
agency to amend these regulations whenever the California standards
chang
e."

According to the CBIA (Connecticut Business Industry Association) (cbia.com) "California-compliant engines, which HB 5039 allows, could add $57,000 to Connecticut vehicle costs, based on estimates from the Engine Manufacturing Association."  Since when does Connecticut follow California rules and for what reason? Is Connecticut now part of California?  Who is going to pay the costs of these new vehicles?  Why would any trucking company want to do business in the state with this law?  What is the purpose of the new law, is it to satisfy California?  I am going to assume that the complete destruction of Connecticut's economy is the goal of the Connecticut Democrat Party which has apparently ceded control of the state to the California Democrat Party.

It is truly a shame how clueless the Connecticut Democrat Party led by Ned Lamont has become in their quest for a socialist/totalitarian form of government and total control over all Connecticut Businesses and Taxpayers.  The logic behind making trucking cost prohibitive in the state defies economic logic and common sense especially during the Democrat Party created runaway inflation that is happening today.  What is to be gained by forcing the trucking industry to incur these addition costs to benefit a California emissions law?  How is this legal?  The narrative never changes with the Connecticut Democrat Party.  They rule with an iron hand and lies.  Sadly all consumers in the state will pay greatly for these economically irrational laws that will help keep Connecticut last and or near last in all economic categories along with having the highest taxes in the country.  And again this is the platform they are running for re-election on in November.  And this is the platform that they are going down to defeat on election day.  Truckers have had enough.  Connecticut Taxpayers have had enough. It is 1776 again.

How High Taxes Ruined Connecticut's Economy

At some point Taxpayers run out of money.  At some point Taxpayers say no to new and higher taxes.  At some point Taxpayers vote with their wallets and pocketbooks rather than on false promises.  Especially false promises about lower taxes and or cuts in taxes.  Notice how there never seems to be discussions on the elimination of a tax or taxes.  Only a cut here and a cut there.  And only in an election year.

As we know Connecticut has an election coming up and there is a great discussion and movement towards cutting taxes.  Almost an urgency.  The Connecticut Taxpayer was thrown roughly a $3 dollar a week tax cut with the suspension of a twenty five cents per gallon gas tax for a few months.  Gasoline is still roughly double what is was before Democrat President Biden and his anti-American energy policies became effective.  Thus $3 a week really does not do much for Connecticut Taxpayers in the current economic debacle they are experiencing of Democrat induced runaway inflation.  And since the implementation of the Connecticut State Income Tax in 1991 new and continually increasing state taxes along with excessively high property taxes have helped to ruin the state economy to almost the point of no return.  The Connecticut State Income Tax along with the Connecticut State Budget has increased dramatically over the past 30 years.  Connecticut's short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities have grown to roughly $150 billion dollars which partially represents a $62500 plus per Taxpayer debt tax if a tax was passed to try to pay this off.  Connecticut ranks last and or near last in most business friendly categories along with one of the highest taxed states in the country.  This situation has been developing since the implementation in 1991 of the Connecticut State Income Tax along with many new and higher taxes such as the secret gross earnings tax on gasoline, the Family Leave state income tax and sales taxes on mostly everything and anything in the state.  Also much higher business taxes have helped to make many state businesses move out of Connecticut for good never to return and or to create essential jobs for the state.  Thus Connecticut's State Government has to pick winners and losers to entice new businesses to move in and create short term jobs that usually end rather quickly when Connecticut Taxpayers subsidies end or when the new companies go broke trying to operate in the state.

High taxes have ruined Connecticut's economy in my opinion.  Tax upon tax that has been embraced by the years of Connecticut Democrat Party rule have helped many citizens and businesses to make a clear decision to move out of the state never to return.  High taxes have helped to nurture Connecticut's state labor unions with well above normal salaries wages and benefits for years now.  Look at the staggering new costs of the upcoming contract that will be briefly discussed in a for show only public hearing this coming Monday. And we know this agreement will pass with no with no questions asked.   Connecticut Taxpayers will be responsible for an additional $500 million dollars per year in additional state labor costs.  Who pays for this and where does the money come from other than from the remaining Connecticut Taxpayers in the state.  And what will Connecticut Taxpayers get in return?  More stale bureaucracy along with an inefficient bloated state government that is completely inept at resolving problems in the state.  Nothing will change.  And you can count on new and higher taxes to pay for it.  Why?  We can determine that for the past 30 years high taxes have help to strip Connecticut of its economic vibrancy and we see Connecticut a bottom feeder in all economic categories.  So why can't something different be offered to Connecticut Taxpayers except the failures of higher state spending with higher taxes?  For example massive cuts in state spending along with cuts in taxes across the board.

This is again the record that Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party is running for re election on in 2022.  Listening to Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Part speak of the state economy one wonders what drugs they are on since it does not sound like Connecticut in 2022. A state with a poor economy coupled with a corrupted government.  This is the record that they will lose on in 2022. And it is 1776 all over again.

Connecticut Democrats Spend Ad Infinitum. 30 Years=345%?

The Connecticut Democrat Party just loves to spend.  And spend and spend and spend and spend.  And spend ad infinitum (ad infinitum is a Latin phrase meaning to infinity).  If one has been following Connecticut's spending crisis since the implementation in 1991 of the economic cure all the Connecticut State Income Tax we can see that spending has increased a mere 345% over this time frame from roughly $7 billion dollars to now $24.2 billion dollars for the state's biennial budget.  I wonder how many Connecticut Taxpayers besides those who are politically connected have seen their salaries increase by this amount?  If over 30 years you were lucky to get a 1 1/2% raise each year then your pay increased by 45% over the same time frame.  So why did Connecticut's spending have to increase by 345%?  Is Connecticut a special state case where an increase by 345% in state spending is only earmarked for the Democrat Party politically connected such as the state labor unions?  Does this increase of 345% provide you with more efficient state services in the state?  Does this increase of 345% provide you with greater security and police protection so that your car does not get stolen and or you have no risk of being murdered in one of the state's Democrat Party controlled cities?  Does this increase of 345% provide you with lower taxes or instead are the taxes that you pay help rank Connecticut as one of the highest taxed states in the country?  Does this increase of 345% provide you with security for your business as seen by the horrific state mandated Covid-19 lock downs that bankrupted many businesses in the state? Does this increase of 345% provide you with a balanced budget and without the current $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities the state owes?  Does this increase of 345% provide you with a sense of shared sacrifice by the Democrat Party politically connected such as the state labor unions?

To state that it is amazing that a state as small as Connecticut spends this much money is an understatement to say the least.  In trying to analyze the current budget (which is exceptionally difficult to do since our state government wishes to keep Connecticut Taxpayers in the dark) depending on the accounting process used salaries, benefits, pensions and interest on the debt in my opinion account for almost half of what the state spends.  And over the past 30 years some items have been taken off budget to reduce the budget deficit and seem to be lost forever.  Again why does Connecticut spend this much money and gets so little in return?  We continue to see the fiscal mismanagement and corruption of 30 years of omnipotent one party rule by the Connecticut Democrat Party which has led the state to the brink of fiscal ruin.  Who wants to start a business in the state with these kinds of economic conditions?  Who wants to move to Connecticut besides the overtaxed residents of New York or New Jersey?  Why do Connecticut Taxpayers spend so much and get so little in return?

Yet this is the wonderful and supposedly economically efficient record that Ned Lamont, his family's hedge fund and the rest of the Connecticut Democrat Party is running for re election on in 2022.  And this is the record that they will lose on in 2022.  A poor socialistic corrupted type government that has been nurtured by both the state run media and the Democrats is crumbling in front of their eyes and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it in time to savage the election.  They have already lost badly in the eyes of most Connecticut Taxpayers.  It is over before it starts.  And it is 1776 all over again.

The Connecticut Democrat Party Wants Your Tax Return-Is That Really Legal? See Senate Bill 443

The ultimate prize for the Connecticut Democrat Party is access to your personal tax return.  Just look at Senate Bill 443 - An Act Concerning The Tax Incidence Report, Tax Incidence Analyses, and the Disclosure of Returns and Return Information.  This 1984 Orwellian Socialist type bill was sponsored by Democrat/Socialists State Representatives Josh Elliott-Hamden, Kate Farrar-West Hartford and Michael Winkler-Vernon.  This bill would allow the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services Commissioner to allow Connecticut's Legislative leadership to view personal tax returns under the charade of “for purposes of evaluating and formulating tax policy.” (quoted from bill itself) What tax policy are they evaluating and or formulating?  Has Connecticut become such a socialistic and totalitarian state that your information can be stolen by state officials in the guise of seeing if somehow you paid enough taxes?  Are they going to allow Connecticut Taxpayers to view all Connecticut elected officials such as Ned Lamont, Richard Blumenthal, Rosa DeLauro and other tax returns by writing to the state?

The over reach in this bill astounds me nor can I see how it legal?  Does the legal team of the Connecticut  Democrat Party realize that this proposed law is against the law?  It is in direct criminal violation of IRC Sec.6103(d)(1) and therefore subject to penalties and fines in accordance with IRC Section 7213 (a) (2).   I am also confused as to why they need private citizens tax returns to formulate tax policies?  The current Connecticut Democrat Party tax policies have helped to push Connecticut to the brink of economic oblivion under the lies of fairness and equity.  The same fairness and equity that apparently can only be viewed when looking at Connecticut Taxpayers returns.  Where is the equity and fairness in not being to view Governor Ned Lamont's tax returns especially when looking at his family's hedge fund investments?  Or why does multi-millionaire United States Senator Richard Blumenthal pay so little in income tax?

Senate Bill 443 somehow makes Connecticut's economic problems go away with even higher personal income taxes to allow for the Connecticut Democrat Party to buy its votes and allow the never ending political corruption to be nurtured and promoted in the state. This brazen theft of personal freedoms by the political viewing of your personal income tax returns is the ultimate power grab and shows the complete disregard for the Connecticut Taxpayer under the lies of fairness and equity.  Where is the fairness and equity for the Connecticut Taxpayer who lives in a politically contaminated state that allows state officials the ability to falsify truth for their political power and gain?  With all this fairness and equity with Connecticut Democrat Party formulated tax policies why does Connecticut have $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities?  With all this fairness and equity with Connecticut Democrat Party formulated tax policies why does Connecticut rank near first in the highest taxes in the country along being near last in most business and economic categories in the country?

A politically corrupted Connecticut state government that now wants to see your personal tax returns is absurd but yet Connecticut Taxpayers have still another  new fight with this bill blessed by the Connecticut Democrat Party.  The fight will continue against these ruthless politicians who embrace Taxation without Representation along with a stoic political nepotism that is a cancer within the state ruing the state day in and day out.  Connecticut again will see massive changes in November with a new government being legitimately voted in and not fraudulently stolen with dead people voting over and over again for the failed Connecticut Democrat Party.   It is 1776 again.

Connecticut Democrats:See, Hear, Speak No Corruption. Yet Taxpayers See, Hear and Listen To Democrat Corruption Daily.

Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party seem to be in big trouble.  There seems to be massive corruption that is finally being investigated.  A great deal of this corruption has already been discussed at length by Tony De Angelo on his weekly segment on the Lee Elci Show on 94.9 News Now for many months now.  But all of a sudden it looks like the sky is actually falling for Ned and his Democrat Party.  For years now Connecticut Taxpayers were force fed lie after lie about the state's wonderful government.  And all of sudden Ned Lamont is feeling the heat of his failed Administration.  There is no public trust whatsoever in the Connecticut Democrat Party way of governing in the state.

Chief State Attorney Richard Colangelo saw nothing wrong apparently in hiring the daughter of a top state budget official back in 2020.  Was Mr. Colangelo completely unaware of what he was doing?  Was this person qualified for the job?  Did  this person follow all the guidelines of the state application and testing process for her job?  Or was it the political influence of a Democrat in political power that got her the job?  One can logically assume that this is what happened in this case.  And this probably happens a great deal in a state that is as corrupted as Connecticut.

Also there are allegations of a cheating scandal with a eight members of a recent training class at the State Police Academy.  Why is cheating occurring at the State Police Academy?

Former deputy secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, Konstantinos Diamantis oversaw the projects at the state pier in New London and school construction projects.  Diamantis is/was a great friend of Ned Lamont and rewarded state taxpayers with a massive cost overrun on the State Pier $93 million dollar project that is now $223 million dollars and rising.  Hey what's another $130 million dollars to Connecticut Taxpayers?    Why was this project allowed to proceed with all the cost overruns?  Didn't Ned Lamont know what was going on?  Did he really care?  Why is there such a scandal with this Port Authority?  What actually went on with all the school construction projects in the state? Why are they being investigated by the Feds for corruption now?

Why does Lamont do when his confident Josh Geballe resign two days before a scandal rocks his department?  Why does he leave now?  What does he know?  Did he cut a deal with the Feds or Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party for leniency? What is Sema-4 going to do with all of the personal information they obtained from state residents?  Why are they allowed to keep this information?

Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party under the daily fear of Covid-19 turned Connecticut into a cesspool of corruption.  They laughed at the questions that were being asked.   These questions still have yet to been answered and are still valid to this day.  How much in profit (actually cash) did Ned Lamont's family hedge fund make during the Covid-19 crisis especially with Sema-4?  What state funded companies did they make money off of?  Why was the Jack Rubenstein, LLC company given so many no bid state contracts?  What did they deliver?  This company has had legal problems in the past why are they a state vendor?  And now the game is up hopefully.  The waste and fraud of the Lamont Administration will coming out in full view.  And Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party will be under the microscope for their fraud.  It is about time.  The Connecticut Democrat Party thought that they see, hear and speak no corruption.  And Connecticut Taxpayers were lied to daily by Ned Lamont and company and were told to accept the corruption that was embraced by the Connecticut Democrat Party in so many ways.  What a lie that has been force fed to Connecticut Taxpayers for years now.  What a waste of Connecticut Taxpayers monies. The game is over now for Ned Lamont and his politically connected ship of fools.  Free Connecticut from this tyranny.

Connecticut Taxpayers Pay $5 Million Dollars For Fake Currency

I have taught business and economics classes for almost forty years now and I am truly amazed at the fake cryptocurrency hysteria.  The craze of investing in a block chain currency that has no backing whatsoever by any entity and needs to be purchased with a government based currency like the United States dollar astounds me.  What was even more astounding is that Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont is giving the Digital Currency Group $5 million dollars compliments of the Connecticut Taxpayers to move to Stamford and magically create 300 jobs.  If one does the math these jobs will cost Connecticut Taxpayers $16,666.67 each in real United States dollars.  My question to Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and the Digital Currency Group is if this digital currency has such value in our economy then why can't they create the $5 million in a digital currency and hire their own employees without the states help and using Connecticut Taxpayers United States Dollars.  And why didn't Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont disclose that his family's hedge fund had and or did have a large investment in the Digital Currency Group that apparently helped gain this $5 million dollar grant paid for by Connecticut Taxpayers?  Why wasn't until after individuals such as Tony De Angelo made public this connection did all of sudden it become public knowledge?  And then and only then did Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont came clean with his family's hedge fund connection and investment with the Digital Currency Group?  What other companies have Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont family's hedge fund have investments in that received Connecticut Taxpayers monies from?  And why has there not been any disclosure?  Apparently Connecticut Taxpayers have no need or legal right to know where their tax money goes since the state is being run by Executive orders and there is no need for any transparency in the spending and or give away of Connecticut Taxpayers monies.

Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont seems to be very upset at this time due to the fact that his family's run hedge fund has no more desire to either invest and or fund businesses in Connecticut.  His family run hedge fund will evidently be doing business in Tennessee because it easier than doing business in Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont's Connecticut where Connecticut Taxpayers have the audacity to question what they do.  Does anyone see the irony here?  Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and his family's run hedge fund have given up on their own state since they must be held accountable for their economic actions and need to disclose their business to Connecticut Taxpayers.  Remember they made no profit from Sema-4 testing either.  And also remember Connecticut is last and or near last in most business and economic categories with few jobs available no matter how much free money is given to companies in the state for job creation and with a continuing 30 plus year recession along with some of the highest taxes in the country.

What has happened and has been happening since Ned Lamont bought his Governorship by pouring millions upon millions of dollars of his own money into finally getting elected is that the Lamont run Connecticut Democrat Party feels they are above any law and those laws will never pertain to them. Connecticut Taxpayers have been shown in this administration that must be obedient to Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party while they can profit off the labors of the peasants they rule with an iron hand.  To me this is an insult and disgrace to every Connecticut resident and Connecticut Taxpayer.

So what is next for Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party?  What can they skim off the Connecticut Taxpayer leading up to the 2022 election?  What promises can they deliver to their politically connected?  And how much more misery can they heap upon the poor working men and women in the corrupted state of Connecticut and its omnipotent one party rule in the future?  I truly wonder if Connecticut can ever again become a true "Free" state given this tyranny called state government.

Can Ned Lamont Separate Himself From One Party Rule?

I wonder if Governor elect Ned Lamont can separate himself from his own party. Omnipotent one party rule of the Connecticut Democrat Party has hurt our state economy over the years.  Corporate welfare, political nepotism and unrealistic and unaffordable union and management salaries, benefits and pensions has created for the state $80 to $100 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.
And a progressive agenda is being touted by the Connecticut Democrat Party in the new legislature that includes a $15 minimum wage (which will ultimately cost jobs in the state and increases the costs of doing business in the state), paid by employer family and medical leave (increasing the costs of doing business in the state), legalization of recreational marijuana (that will cause more short and long term medical costs and issues) and tolls (which will increase the costs of doing business in the state and for all who drive).  I wonder if Governor elect Ned Lamont realizes the costs to all of these progressive programs as an individual who was involved in the real business world.  Or does he just accept as fact that the Connecticut Democrat Party dictates to the new Governor what he can and can’t do.  Sort of like in a socialist state.  Which in reality what Connecticut has become over the years due to the Connecticut Democrat Party and omnipotent one party rule.
Thus it will be interesting to see what direction Governor elect Ned Lamont goes in.  A party loyalist or someone who realizes the dire economic conditions that exist in the state at this time?  More and new taxes or cuts in taxes to stimulate the state economy (sort of like what President Trump has done with the national economy).  More heavy handed governmental regulation or less governmental regulation.  A user friendly state government for its taxpayers or the continual aggressive and abusive state agencies that are allowed to do as they please with a taxpayer be damned attitude and actions.
Again, I wonder if Governor elect Ned Lamont can separate himself from his own party.
And which direction does he take?

It Is Time To Take Back Connecticut In 2018-Vote Republican

November 6, 2018.  The time has come to vote.  The time has come to vote Republican for a change.  It is time for the great silent majority of Connecticut to stand up and make their voices heard against the tyranny of what our state government has become.
It is time to take back Connecticut from the economic nightmare that the Connecticut Democrat Party has created.
It is time to end the long incompetent rule of the Connecticut Democrat Party and all of its cancers that it has spread in the state and state government.
It is time to bring transparency to state government.
It is time to cut spending on state management and state union salaries, benefits and pensions.
It is time to address the $80 to $100 billion dollar state debt we have from short and long term borrowing and unfunded liabilities.
It is time to stop corporate welfare and pay to play schemes created by the Connecticut Democrat Party.
It is time to end taxpayer funded sanctuary cities.
It is time to end counting mileage driven and reimbursed towards state pensions.
It is time to end counting overtime towards state pensions.
It is time to end voters who are dead from voting in our state elections.
It is time to lower taxes and repeal the state income tax has that help lead our state into economic Armageddon.
It is time to end omnipotent one party rule in state government.
It is time to have government work for taxpayers not taxpayers work to support a ruling political elite.
Enough is enough.
This has been a typical brutal election here with the usual lies and threats created by the Connecticut Democrat Party.  The Connecticut Democrat Party serves itself and its special interests not the Connecticut Taxpayers it supposedly represents.
The problem in Connecticut is the Connecticut Democrat Party.  They need to be voted out of office this election.
It is time.
Vote the entire Connecticut Republican team on November 6.
