IT IS TIME FOR THE CONNECTICUT REPUBLICAN PARTY TO FINALLY GET REAL ABOUT STATE CORRUPTION.

It has finally happened. Connecticut Major Parties have picked their candidates for the upcoming election in November. However, sitting Governor Ned Lamont faces a primary challenge by a new breed young Democrat (Josh Elliott) who has grand Communist and Socialist ideas that we have heard all before and have failed all before in every other place in the world. Given past practices, I am confident that Lamont will cut a deal with this ideological wizard to preserve his gravy train of income and profits from Connecticut taxpayers.

Speaking of corruption, and as I discussed last week, Citizen Journalist Kristi Talmadge wrote a brilliant summary of the myriad and complex wrongdoings of Ned and his sidekick spouse Annie Lamont for the Connecticut Centinal (https://connecticutcentinal.com/opinion/2026/05/15/connecticuts-untouchable-democrat-power-couple/). Kristi has recapped precisely what my colleague Tony De Angelo has discussing since the beginning of the never ending Covid crisis in the state back in 2021. I highly recommend everyone to read this concise discussion of outright fraud that has taken place in the state.

Here are some major points to refresh our readers memories taken from the article, including (but in no way limited to) both Lamont’s governing the state via the use of a private family-office e mail server:

While Governor Ned Lamont publicly released his 2021 tax returns in October 2022, revealing an eye-popping $54 million in adjusted gross income, the vast majority from investment and capital gains, the public remains completely in the dark about First Lady Annie Lamont’s finances. Because the couple files separately (“Married Filing Separately”), Annie Lamont’s substantial earnings, distributions, and partnership income as co-founder and managing partner of OAK HC/FT Partners stay entirely shielded from disclosure.

This convenient arrangement lets Ned project selective transparency while the full scope of the family’s wealth, and any potential profits tied to the very venture capital firm at the center of no-bid COVID contracts, offshore vehicles, and state-favor allegations, remains hidden from Connecticut taxpayers.

This is not “gotcha” politics. It is a systemic failure of accountability that erodes trust in government. Every Connecticut family struggling with high taxes, crumbling infrastructure, and post-COVID economic fallout has a right to know whether public dollars were steered to enrich the First Family’s venture capital empire.

The call is clear:

  • The FBI’s New Haven field office and U.S. Attorney must open a public corruption probe into potential wire fraud, honest-services fraud, and conflicts involving state contracts, the private server, and offshore flows.
  • The Connecticut State Auditor and Legislature must immediately subpoena the family server (or what remains), full OAK portfolio vs. state spending cross-checks, UConn Foundation investment records, and Advance CT meeting logs.
  • Forensic IT recovery experts should examine the private server for deletions and backups.
  • All OAK HC/FT portfolio companies must be mapped against every state grant, loan, contract, or policy favor since 2019.

As I stated in my blog last week:

My colleague Tony De Angelo and I have been asking repeatedly for information on the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development dealings and audits as they relate to his family's hedge fund profits and other concerns/affiliations. Also how much did his family's hedge fund profit from Infosys Limited, Digital Currency Group and its affiliates, "ADVANCECT", Boston Consulting Group, UNITE US (CT), Mt. Sinai Genomics, "Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Informatics", "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", "4-CT", and "VillageMD ““The Horsebarn Hill Investment Fund”, McKinsey, “CT Next”, and the Tidal River Fund, to name a few?  Since we know there are Lamont family investments in the state pension, where might they be resident in the “Baby Bonds” portfolio or the UCONN Foundation? What family transactions take place in the secret Cayman Islands where no one can see them? Where are the Governor's tax returns and why hasn't he made them public in this election year or in any year since he has been in office? (https://swickspeak.blogspot.com/2026/05/connecticut-politics-corruption-is-our.html)

Over the course of the weekend of May 15, great talk and anticipation of a brave new Republican world spread throughout the party and the state. However, being one who has either been involved or has observed the failures of the CT GOP for decades I have one  simple question for the Republican Gubernatorial/Lt. Governor nominees Ryan Fazio and Matt Corey: Will these gentlemen ask and pursue these same questions during the upcoming campaign and get to the bottom of this corruption once and for all?  Will we finally see FOIA granted to the myriad and surreptitious nonprofits that are funded with Connecticut tax dollars? Or does the corruption get swept under the rug for another four years with the third term of embezzlement of Taxpayers monies for the Lamont’s’? Or, are Connecticut Taxpayers subject to more weak and wan Republican statements against corruption, where nothing meaningful will ever be done.

Legitimate questions deserve legitimate answers. The corruption of Connecticut's government and rip off of the Connecticut Taxpayers needs to be stopped.

The trail is more than established, There are no longer any excuses. I call upon the Fazio/Corey ticket to act on it.

The next Swick Speak column will be on June 6th. Have a nice holiday.

Ethics: What Does That Word Mean In Connecticut?

Since I have had such a smash hit these past couple of weeks starting my weekly article off with some definitions,  I decided to give this another try.

Today’s subject is “Ethics”

“Ethics” is defined as the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group, an awareness of the moral importance of a specified thing.

“Ethics in Connecticut” is defined as an evaluation of circumstances that is acceptable if it fits 1) the moment, 2) me, 3) a family member, 4) a friend, 5) a crony, 6) some marginalized  group, or 7) abuse of a citizen, (because no one cares about them, anyway).

Welcome to the wonderful world of Ethics in Connecticut.

Believe it or not, Connecticut actually has a state ethics code. I highly recommend all Connecticut State Taxpayers read it and quote from it frequently as I am led to believe that most state officials, both elected and appointed, have no clue as to what rules and laws they need to be following in their positions of power. And nor do they care.

Here are some of the highlights to this massive, not widely read or followed code of law in the state:

Sec. 1-83. Statements of financial interests. Filing requirements. Ethics statements. Confidentiality. Waiver. (a)(1) All state-wide elected officers, members of the General Assembly, department heads and their deputies, members or directors of each quasi-public agency, members of the Investment Advisory Council and such members of the Executive Department and such employees of quasi-public agencies as the Governor shall require, shall file electronically with the Office of State Ethics using the software created by the office, under penalty of false statement, a statement of financial interests for the preceding calendar year on or before the May first next in any year in which they hold such an office or position. If, in any year, May first falls on a weekend or legal holiday, such statement shall be filed not later than the next business day. Any such individual who leaves his or her office or position shall file electronically a statement of financial interests covering that portion of the year during which such individual held his or her office or position. The Office of State Ethics shall notify such individuals of the requirements of this subsection not later than sixty days after their departure from such office or position. Such individuals shall file such statement electronically not later than sixty days after receipt of the notification.  https://portal.ct.gov/ethics/statutes-and-regulations/statutes-and-regulations/codeofethicsstatutes#S1-83.

One may wonder when the last time anyone saw King Governor Ned Lamont The Unaccountable's financial disclosures? Certainly, no one has ever seen his income tax summary forms as he has never released them to the general public. (And nor, does he care to).

One may also note that the penalty for noncompliance or lying with the above provision is the "wrist-slap" penalty of “false statement” as opposed to the legal standard of “perjury” which carries criminal penalty. If you say such a provision is harsh, it is the same provision of lying under oath you stipulate when you file your yearly income tax return. (Idea: Try scratching out “perjury” on the declaration of your next tax return and replacing it with “false statement,” and when you are arrested, you can try claiming immunity from prosecution by claiming you are a member of the Connecticut State Legislature)

Let’s move on.

"No public official or state employee or employee of such public official or state employee shall agree to accept, or be a member or employee of a partnership, association, professional corporation or sole proprietorship which partnership, association, professional corporation or sole proprietorship agrees to accept any employment, fee or other thing of value, or portion thereof, for appearing, agreeing to appear, or taking any other action on behalf of another person before the Department of Banking, the Office of the Claims Commissioner, the Health Systems Planning Unit of the Office of Health Strategy, the Insurance Department, the Department of Consumer Protection, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the State Insurance and Risk Management Board, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, the Connecticut Siting Council or the Connecticut Real Estate Commission; provided this shall not prohibit any such person from making inquiry for information on behalf of another before any of said commissions or commissioners if no fee or reward is given or promised in consequence thereof. For the purpose of this subsection, partnerships, associations, professional corporations or sole proprietorships refer only to such partnerships, associations, professional corporations or sole proprietorships which have been formed to carry on the business or profession directly relating to the employment, appearing, agreeing to appear or taking of action provided for in this subsection."https://portal.ct.gov/ethics/statutes-and-regulations/statutes-and-regulations/codeofethicsstatutes#S1-84. One may wonder why the "Blue Hills Civic Association" was allowed to have Democrat State Senator Douglas McCrory oversee the grants to his "association" and where are the seven figures of combined missing funds discovered in the state's audit findings that McCrory had a place in directing or diverting?  Has there been any cross checking of McCrory's personal financial statements to see either increases in income and or personal wealth? Also why has there never been a media or Republican demand to probe King Ned The Unaccountable  for his self-designed 2019 sham “Ethics Plan”  that my friend and colleague Tony De Angelo has sliced and diced to prove that it was directly constructed to exclude the tax-free and secret Cayman Island partnerships that were instrumental in shielding the self-dealing IPO profit from the Sema4 IPO propped up by state funding?  https://x.com/TonyDeAngelo7/status/1960366270567645674 These are just several thoughts to help resolve this continued fraudulent use of Connecticut Taxpayers monies that we never see repaid.

However, let us return to our terms as defined above, especially “Connecticut Ethics” With that definition in mind, we need to examine and try to understand this code as we see more incredible and piggish acts by the Democrat Party controlled state legislature to help eliminate transparency in state government. In a unanimous vote on proposals from the semi-useless Connecticut Office Of State Ethics, legislators decided to drop a proposed addition to this state ethics code to prohibit nepotism. This nepotism would have applied to all state lawmakers also. As a side note, on April 27th, the State House of Representatives voted to eliminate a nepotism standard that forbids state public officials and state employees from the giving of jobs, promotions and or special advantages to relatives or friends from this same ethics bill. This prohibition would have also applied to all of the members of the state general assembly. Future Connecticut Attorney General US Senator, Democrat State Representative Matt Blumenthal, (Legacy of US Senator Dick Blumenthal) is the House co-chair of the Government Administration and Elections Committee and he bold-facedly stated: “This is the first time that these provisions have been put forward to the legislature," he said. "We had a public hearing on them, but I think there are still concerns about the scope and nuances of some of their applications, and I anticipate we will address them again in the future and potentially pass versions of them in the future, but they may require additional work” CT legislators remove nepotism ban that would have applied to them

Noted also in the same bill is a provision that allows state legislators two free sporting tickets per year. Both of these provisions passed unanimously and will probably become law.

But what on earth is going on here? Many are confused as the Democrat controlled state legislature has no issues whatsoever in ramming down bills and laws upon Connecticut Taxpayers without public hearings and listening to the concerns of the individuals who will be impacted the most by their brazen, careless and politically connected legislation that pass at any time day or night, regardless of public opinion.  You should be astounded to realize especially after pouring through this state ethics code that there is no rule against the use of nepotism by the state legislators. So, if it is not illegal, to the victors go the spoils. Bring on the nepotism 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days in the year! Blumenthal is well aware of that and must protect the political machine no matter what the costs are. Ethics be damned.

But more astounding is that no elected official or Republican political candidate to date has ever demanded an inquiry into the self-dealing litany of the Lamonts over eight years in a myriad of dealings nor have they been called to account on any of them. Again, I will remind our readers of my opinion that there will never be an investigation into Governor Lamont's financial streams and a full disclosure of his income tax statements even though he is in clear violation of the above state ethics code. To this, we still have no answers to dealings with “Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Infomatics", “Centrellis”. "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", and "VillageMD",  the Lamont-related Cayman Island partnerships, large Cayman Islands deals such as the "Horsebarn Hill Investment Fund" hiding in the UCONN Foundation,  and other deals working through “quasi-public” organizations such as Lamont-connected (and covert) “Connecticut Innovations”.  Again, the lack of answers seems to be in violation of the above state ethics code. I challenge any reasonable person to find where in this code Lamont is exempt from it.

Again, there are two definitions of “ethics” in Connecticut. I submit unto you that the “Connecticut” definition of ethics should finally apply to its citizens. Why can’t Connecticut citizens keep secrets from government using private e-mail servers as the Lamonts’ do? Why can't Connecticut citizens rob tax-exempt organizations for their friends and cronies? Why can’t Connecticut Taxpayers disregard paying their state taxes as it seems to be supporting a very unethical and illegal non representative and non-transparent government? After all, why can’t citizens get away with what their government does? It is a government completely avoiding its own state constitution and state law especially with the recent anti-ICE Senate Bill 397 which was signed into law. It is a state government that has a complete disregard for the rule of law and its own legal taxpaying citizens who remain in this hellhole once known as "The Constitution State". And it is a government that will accept a couple of free sporting tickets at your expense because they are them and you are you, and you, be damned.

God Help Us All in protecting us from the government of the State of Connecticut.

Connecticut Democrat Chris Murphy, And His Ascension To The Divine Right Of A King

Oath: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God." (https://www.senate.gov/about/origins-foundations/senate-and-constitution/oath-of-office.htm).

This is the Oath of Office that Socialist/Democrat Connecticut United States Senator Chris Murphy took upon ascending to the highest deliberative body in the United States of America, the U.S. Senate.

Chris Murphy:  Responds “awesome” to an April 20 Ali Vaez tweet that at least 26 Iranian shadow fleet vessels bypass US blockade, (later claiming this was sarcasm). https://x.com/ChrisMurphyCT/status/2046345472915206646

Sedition: An act undermining the country. Cambridge Dictionary defines sedition as “Language or behavior that is intended to persuade other people to oppose their government or leaders, sometimes in a violent way.”

Treason: Treason against the United States, shall consist in ..adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort (U.S. Constitution).

Connecticut Republican Party Press Release: “Chris Murphy is not a serious leader. He is a partisan activist masquerading as a statesman, and his words and actions are an embarrassment to our state.

Frankly, Chris Murphy is an embarrassment to Connecticut.

Sherlock Holmes' Brother, (upon reading the CT GOP statement above on Chris Murphy), "no stuff, Sherlock. Every person in the state already knows that he is unhinged".

Entire Civilized World (but for Democrats, and the Connecticut Republican Party) call for the (censure, removal, arrest, trial) of Chris Murphy for reasons of (sedition, treason, giving aid and comfort to the enemy, and for his sustained and persistent anti-American conduct over a protracted period).

Welcome to the insane, irrational, and corrupted world of Connecticut politics, where past and current events include two imprisoned Chief Executives (one still serving in office), a senior Senator who claimed combat service in Vietnam (he did not) and also claimed to not be participating in a Communist rally (he did), a prominent gubernatorial candidate answering questions about bribery in her role as Mayor as her city’s tax office was out of control under her watch, and a sitting governor with a history of questionable dealings conducting state business with his wife using a family office server LEE ELCI SHOW TONY DE ANGELO 4 21 2026. Any right-thinking normal individual believes that each of these situations deserves accountability and (where necessary), punishment.

But somehow, when it comes to Chris Murphy, the Connecticut political establishment, nor even the state opposition party never acts upon what about every right-thinking person in the world thinks is just and apropos concerning Chris Murphy. He remains untouchable. He remains unaccountable.

You see, Chris Murphy has ascended to the Divine Right of Kings. He truly is the real King of Connecticut.

All Hail King Murphy the Untouchable! A King above all Kings, Murphy has appointed himself King of all. Murphy, as self-proclaimed expert on all world affairs has apparently sided with the brutal Iranian regime in their conflict with the free world. His rant republished above continues an unending litany of hatred of all things American and anything to do with either President Trump or the Republicans. By his conduct, Murphy is a threat to our country for his conduct, his vile remarks and by violating his Oath of Office. However comforted by his political divine rights, Murphy is quite satisfied in his continual disconnection with the real world, and more importantly it is no longer representing Connecticut. He desperately wants political acceptance and recognition by the "new" Socialist Democrat Party. He apparently wants to be a political icon of some sort. He is ending up to be a shameful fool spewing his constant incoherent gibberish at the public.

And to reiterate: the Entire Civilized World (excluding Democrats and the Connecticut Republican Party)  cry for the (censure, removal, arrest, trial) of Chris Murphy for reasons of (sedition, treason, giving aid and comfort to the enemy, and for sustained and persistent anti-American conduct over a protracted period of time).

To refresh our readers minds here are just a few of his tirades:

"It would be devastating for America if Donald Trump won, and it would be devastating for the anti-gun-violence movement. But we would be on a long list of progressive causes that would be shattered by a Trump win."  (https://www.azquotes.com/author/27347-Chris_Murphy)

"One of the myths about the Internet of Things is that companies have all the data they need, but their real challenge is making sense of it. In reality, the cost of collecting some kinds of data remains too high, the quality of the data isn't always good enough, and it remains difficult to integrate multiple data sources." (https://www.azquotes.com/author/27347-Chris_Murphy) I wonder if Murphy has ever taken an Economics course before?

2/9/25:"I think this is the most serious constitutional crisis the country has faced, certainly since Watergate," Murphy said. "The president is attempting to seize control of power, and for corrupt purposes." Pointing to the Trump administration's efforts to overhaul the federal government, including by freezing foreign aid programs under the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Murphy said the country is in the midst of a "red-alert moment" and argued that Trump is ushering in "the billionaire takeover of government." (https://abcnews.com/Politics/democratic-sen-chris-murphy-warns-assault-constitution/story?id=118605827)

9/29/25 “We may not have another election, at least a free and fair election, if we don’t stop this slide away from free speech and democracy quickly. And what we know from history is that the only way to stop a, you know, would-be tyrant from cratering, from destroying a democracy is mass mobilization,” Murphy said. “There’s something magic that happens when millions of people are mobilized all around the country,” he continued. “It just throws sand in the gears of an effort to try to convert a democracy to something very different.”(https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2026-election/sen-chris-murphy-sends-funds-anti-trump-organizing-groups-latest-milli-rcna233906)

Please note that this is a short list, and all these gems took place before the latest episode of purported “sarcasm” (in King Murphy’s words). But even with a sarcastic tone why would Murphy show any support for Iran? What has Iran done to the United States over the years to warrant their support? Hasn't Iran been a ruthless regime that murders its own people especially those who support freedom? Doesn’t Iran abuse women and children? Why do Socialist Democrats love dictators so much? Why do they support the most ruthless murderers who call themselves leaders in these socialist and communist countries? How does Murphy's support benefit Connecticut Taxpayers who are forced to help for Murphy's salary and benefits as he prattles, twitches and natters on effectively saying nothing and doing even less?

Connecticut could have had Republican Linda McMahon for their Senator if she had won back in 2012. McMahon, being a conservative female Republican with self made wealth, was condemned and crucified by the media. But much of what McMahon and Connecticut Voters wanted to know about Murphy's dealings with Webster Bank and his financial issues were covered over without any harm to him (https://www.politico.com/story/2012/09/mcmahon-files-ethics-complaint-vs-foe-080970). But remember Democrats do not need to answer to anyone or any law. And when one ascends to Kingly status, accountability matters even less.

Chris Murphy is an angry, bloviating, egotistical and pathetic man. His conduct places decent taxpaying citizens and the United States Armed Forces at perpetual risk. He is a dangerous man. He is conceptually unable to discuss issues. He is making many hard working and pro American people sick and tired of hearing his complaints. His daily incoherent gibberish is a tiring bore. Since the political establishment in Connecticut will not touch him, The United States Senate should step in and do the right thing by censuring or removing him. He is truly unfit to serve as a United States Senator nor to uphold the United States Constitution. Connecticut and the country have had enough of his rhetoric and lies.

Rip-Offs. They’re Not Just Committed By Criminals, Anymore.

Why can't people stop ripping off our government at all levels? Because it is too easy. Why can't government at all levels stop ripping people off? Because it is too easy. And this is one of the biggest issues in our country and in many states in 2025 today. It has been a problem for many years, and it is becoming worse.

One can estimate that a great deal of our federal deficit of $38 trillion dollars may be from fraudulent spending. A small contribution in this category is the throwing of $79 billion dollars in Taxpayers monies out the window was echoed by Republican Iowa Senator Joni Ernst on Wednesday when she stated.; "$79 billion in COVID fraud could have been prevented if four basic questions were asked. Is the Social Security Number valid, does the number match the name, does the birthday match, and is the individual ALIVE?"  (https://x.comSenJoniErnststatus/1998850871757602839ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet ). Obviously, those four questions were too difficult for the dullard bureaucrats who were working on this program to be bothered with. Hey what's another $79 billion dollars of Taxpayers monies anyways? When is my next (vacation, holiday, mental health, or emotional support) day?

Why is this not front-page news?

Most recently, we find that fraud is rampant in Minnesota, where the astounded "deer in the headlights” incompetent Democrat Governor Tim Walz was totally unaware of the massive rip off of Taxpayers by various Somalian groups and individuals. Over $1 billion dollars in fraud has taken place in Minnesota. Examples include: "A group called “Feeding Our Future” spearheaded the theft of $250 million in federal school food aid administered by the state Department of Education. More than 50 people have pleaded guilty to crimes related to receiving government payments for meals not delivered to the claimed groups of children. “...”A new fraud scandal is now rocking Minnesota. Last week, Acting US Attorney Joseph Thompson charged eight people with stealing millions of dollars from a Medicaid program called Housing Stabilization Services. The defendants are alleged to have filed a raft of bogus program claims for clients with disabilities and then pocketed the benefits. This is just the “first wave of charges in a massive fraud in Minnesota’s housing stabilization program,” said Thompson. The Minnesota housing program was originally supposed to cost $2.5 million a year, but the annual cost soared to $104 million by 2024, mainly due to fraud." (https://www.cato.org/blog/minnesota-fraud-illustrates-federal-aid-failure

Apparently, this is just the tip of the iceberg there. Why was this allowed? Are there no safeguards in place to prevent this type of fraud?

How about Maine's Medicare fraud with “Gateway Community Services LLC,” which was founded by Abdullahi Ali. Abdullahi Ali was born in Somalia and was recently seeking the the presidency of Jubaland, a region of Somalia bordering Kenya. Whatever “Gateway Community Services LLC” does, it ostensibly does larceny at a very high level. The rip off from this program is estimated to be over $28 million dollars. (https://nypost.com/2025/12/10/us-news/maines-medicaid-program-bilked-out-of-millions-of-dollars-in-somali-fraud-whistleblower-claims/ ).

With so much nonprofit fraud nationwide it has almost taken on a casual connotation to the point where it does not register as a big deal by government and state-run media. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code was specifically written by Congress to allow resources to flow to those in need. But with the larcenous nature of those at the helm of many state-connected nonprofit organizations, charity goes only as far as one’s pocket or purse.

And nationwide rip-offs are not limited to nonprofits alone. For example. we know in Connecticut massive Democrat Party voter fraud has taken place in Bridgeport for decades. Most recall the infamous Bridgeport State Senator Ernie Newton ballot fraud case. But it goes back much longer than that. In Bridgeport, voter fraud goes back to Mayor John Mandanici’s people submitting ballots for dead people in the 1970s. Look at what happened with the 2023 Bridgeport Democrat Mayoral Primary, and again in 2025 with the stuffed absentee ballot fraud that took place by “The Stuffer” Wanda Geter-Pataky, who in 2023 was charged with "42 counts of possession of ballots and envelopes restricted, two counts of fraudulent voting, 22 counts of misrepresenting eligibility requirements for voting by absentee ballot,17 counts of being present when an absentee ballot applicant executes an absentee ballot, and nine counts of conspiracy to commit possession of ballots and envelopes restricted". (https://www.wtnh.com/news/connecticut/fairfield/5-charged-in-bridgeport-absentee-ballot-fraud-to-be-arraigned/ ). This case finally came to trial in March of this year. Curiously, mum is the word on “Wanda the Stuffer.” What did Wanda know? What did Wanda do? For whom? How many losses were miraculously spooled into wins? What if Wanda sings? What about fraud in the election of 2025? (Possibly someday we will find out).

But questions, fraud, concealment, and obfuscation are the Gold Standard parameters of Connecticut governance. Kindly note that Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont has successfully avoided any type of transparency nor accountability with his involvement with numerous shady dealings for six years, nor has he been pressured by anyone in the Legislature with respect to the same. Years later, Connecticut Taxpayers  do not have any answers with the 2020 Covid-19 debacle and the suspect business in the secret REOPEN-CT Committee meeting in the super-secret ADVANCE CT nonprofit that is fully exempt from all Freedom of Information and state transparency laws by that very same Legislature. Years later, we still do not have any answers to Ned Lamont's family hedge fund (Oak HC/FT Partners), investments in Rapyd, a global Fintech-as-a-service provider, and Unqork, both having documented common-investment ties to "Infosys", that same Infosys that received Connecticut taxpayers monies. We have no disclosures as to what happened in the Lamont-Infosys trip to India in February of 2025 completed under that secret cloak of that same ADVANCE CT. Nor are any answers forthcoming from associated companies relating to the Covid-19 crisis that include "Thermo Fisher Scientific", "Sema 4", " Core Infomatics", “Centrellis”. "Ocrulus", "Urjanet", "1life Healthcare", "Galileo Health", "Castlight Health", "Paladina Health", and "VillageMD" to name several. Nor are there ever any answers to the questions concerning the Lamont-related Cayman Island partnerships, large Cayman Islands deals such as the "Horesebarn Hill Investment Fund" hiding in the UCONN Foundation,  and other funny-money  deals working through “quasi-public” organizations such as the now-clearly Lamont-connected (and covert) “Connecticut Innovations”.  There is a massive nonprofit funding  scandal involving alleged malfeasance between Democrat State Senator Douglas McCrory and the malignant and out-of-control Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development ("DECD") This situation is being investigated by a Federal Grand Jury as the state is incapable of policing himself and the entire Legislature refuses to institute meaningful and useful controls and standards for this money throwing agency.  My colleague Tony De Angelo has discussed these ties and issues numerous times over the years, and silence is the result of both elected officials and the state-run media.

The question every Taxpayer must ask is when are we going to be paid back for all these rip-offs? When will taxpayers be allowed access to the books and records of these organizations that these miscreant “leaders” are stealing from? When will we hear one (read that as ONE) legislator of gubernatorial candidate in Connecticut champion the cause of a no-holds-barred Citizen DOGE and meaningful and punitive fiscal controls and penalties for these state-funded nonprofits? Or should Taxpayers just shut up, dig in deeper, and work longer hours to pay more taxes so that these frauds can continue unabated and the leaders and politicians get off scot-free and spend more taxpayer money? Why is justice so slow in its efforts to both find and prosecute these individuals who steal from our government? And why has Connecticut allowed the rampant voter fraud to continue in Bridgeport, Connecticut? Where has been any oversight into the numerous schemes of Ned Lamont and family profiting from the Connecticut Taxpayers’ backs?

Why has this been allowed? Why are legislators and candidates silent about all of this?

Fraud is embedded in our political system. It is nurtured and encouraged by everyone and anyone in and out of government. It seems to be a big game of theft and fraud and rape of the Taxpayers with no consequences legal or otherwise. And it needs to stop now-today-as soon as someone with ethics stands up in government and ends it once and for all.

Connecticut, and many other states, cry out for just that special someone.

The Unethical and Completely Unaccountable Democrat Party

"The wicked accept bribes in secret to pervert the course of justice." (Proverbs 17:23)

Ethics are defined as "the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group.” Today. many individuals in America and especially in Connecticut believe that the Democrat Party, being a party that controls Connecticut and several other state governments in our country, is shamelessly unethical and corrupt. There is a compelling body of information that tells Americans this is a true fact.

If we try to follow the limited and fragmented information that our mainstream media is presenting us about the President Biden/Hunter Biden corruption scandal, we are led to believe that nothing really happened at all. For example, some liberal commentators expressed that President Biden may have inquired of Hunter Biden's socialist/communist political friends only about their local weather during phone calls. Others believe the "Big Guy" is a fictional cartoon character. Yet others believe that the Bidens' did nothing wrong in selling the Vice President's office for financial gain. Democrat Connecticut Representative Jim Himes went as far as to say: “Now, to the question about impeachment, there is today zero evidence, zero evidence that Joe Biden, the President of the United States, knew about what his son was doing. If, if he did know about it, if he participated in that, then that is a very different conversation,” (https://nypost.com/2023/07/30/hunter-biden-broke-the-law-democrat-rep-jim-himes-says/)  Apparently, Himes is the new poster-boy lapdog for the Democrat Party.  It is amazing that a Vice President had no idea of who he was talking to and or what he was talking about with foreign officials. The lies that one now hears by the unaccountable Democrat Party should sicken every American on both sides on the political aisle. If a Republican Vice President were doing this, I can only imagine the daily condemnation of him or her by the Democrat Party and its media. Does anyone remember the crimes of Vice President Agnew?

How about the “Russia Russia Russia” hoax used by the Democrat Party and the Department of Justice to influence the 2020 Presidential election? And now, President Trump is brought up on incoherent and extrapolated charges two and half years later for the January 6, 2021, protest? But nothing whatsoever happens to any Democrat operative as far as the Russian hoax? If a Republican President were doing this, I can only imagine the daily condemnation of him or her by the Democrat Party and its media. Does anyone remember the crimes of President Nixon?

Connecticut Governor “King Ned Lamont the Unaccountable” has successfully slimed and slithered away from any ethics issues since elected with his own hard-earned money in 2018 and 2022, while sporting an undisclosed $54 million dollar benefit from his investment income. There always seems to be a cause-and-effect relationship of enormous state backed investment in companies owned by the Lamont family hedge fund that are continually ignored by the absent Connecticut State Ethics Commission and the obeisant and uninterested Connecticut state-run media. These questions still remain unanswered about how the man “earns” his investment income: Was this investment income made through the effectively now diluted stock of Sema-4? Was the investment income made through the multi-million- dollar 2% disappearing “sweetheart” state loans given to Sema-4 that are (or were) forgiven by the state? Was the investment income made through the “Covid-19 Billings” and/or sweetheart deals made by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development to Lamont family hedge fund companies? Was the investment income made through cryptocurrency companies such as Digital Currency group and its affiliates subsidized by the state? Was the investment income made through all new clandestine “nonprofit" ADVANCECT? Was it made through the selling of citizen data via Boston Consulting Group, Mt. Sinai Genomics and/or McKinsey? Was the investment income made through the Lamont-based shell companies formed in the Cayman Islands and other tax havens? Now, we see that Ned's wife Annie Lamont and her Oak HC/FT hedge funds has invested in Saudi Arabia's “Sanabil Investments” a functional division of the “Saudi Public Investment Fund.”  I wonder why and how this is ethical? Isn't Saudi Arabia a threat to our country like China? Was it not functionally involved in 9/11/2001? What about the "ethics" agreement that the Governor signed about his family investments and the Ethics Commission oversight on any of these issues? If a Republican Governor were doing this, I can only imagine the daily condemnation of him or her by the Democrat Party and its media. Does anyone remember the crimes of Governor John Rowland?

Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— the Lord detests them both." (Proverbs 17:15)   This bible verse to me and many others summarizes the unethical and unaccountable Democrat Party of both Connecticut and America in 2023. Taxpayers are supporting this gibberish, guff, and self-serving mess called government. Ethics need to be restored immediately, or politicians need to feel the anger, fury, and wrath of taxpayers all over our country once, and for all. If taxpayers fail in this duty, we can put a fork in this state and this nation because, at that point, it will be done.

Ned's Covid-19 Un-Ethical "Conn-Job"

Connecticut Democrat Governor Ned Lamont is handled cleverly.  So cleverly that transparency does not exist nor can the common Connecticut Taxpayer ever get his or her questions answered especially with regard to the Lamont induced Covid-19 economic debacle taxpayers have lived with through for well over three years.  The Connecticut taxpayers who have survived this economic and socialist nightmare just can not get answers to any questions.

Let us start at the beginning of this economic debacle and follow the orchestration of this deliberate plan of ethical deception.

To begin, we see an "Advisory Ethics Opinion" issued on May 16, 2019 that basically placed hazy restrictions upon Lamont as Governor and his family's hedge fund.  For example, quoting from Page 4 of this document (https://www.wtnh.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/100/2021/12/Lamont-Ethics-Opinion2.pdf) : "To better identify the need for any necessary recusal, the Governor would periodically arrange to provide his office with a list of individual investments held by himself, Mrs. Lamont or any associated business that have not already been made-subject to the exclusive control of an independent intermediary. The Governor's office would use that list as a checklist on a case-by-case basis to assist in identifying instances where recusal by the Governor or Mrs. Lamont would be necessary." When was this checklist created and where can it be found?  Was this a monthly case by case analysis?  Or was it completely ignored? Finally, after four years whatever happened to this "independent intermediary" that is supposed to ride hard on team Lamont  in order to stop them from any greedy desire it may have to trade with the State?

On Page 8 of this same document: I read that "the Governor and Mrs. Lamont wish to retain direct ownership and control of a handful of investments as to which they have special knowledge and background. All such investments would be listed on the schedule delivered to a designated official in the Governor’s office, which schedule would be periodically updated as necessary, in order that the Governor and his staff may better “police” whether any official action that either the Governor or Mrs. Lamont may contemplate could reasonably be expected to result in a direct financial benefit or harm to themselves or to an associated business to a degree that is different from or greater than the universe of individuals or businesses that would be affected generally by such official action and, therefore, require recusal by the Governor and Mrs. Lamont."  A poor and humble citizen might ask the following questions: What is the Lamont definition of "reasonable belief" in this case? How does the Governor get to first "contemplate" the issues to "police" himself upon? What does the word "police"even mean? Can this "policing" result in a consequent "arrest"?  Where are the reports issued with regards to the Sema-4 investment and the subsequent contracts with state? Identical questions also remain for Digital Currency Group and UNITE CT.

The report concluded on Page 16: "We conclude that the steps taken by Governor Lamont and Mrs. Lamont concerning their financial assets and associated businesses, as set forth in this opinion, are adequate to better ensure compliance with the Code, particularly its conflict-of-interests provisions and disclosure requirements."  Feeling somewhat better after reading that, we are never allowed to assume that this maze of legal gibberish cleared the way for a profit train for the Lamont family "legally" and with "no conflict of interest".

If any of the sham language above holds true, why did the Oak HC/FT hedge fund set up investments in Sema-4 and $800 million dollars in investments in the Cayman Islands LP on August 1, 2019?  Why did the state authorize on June 1, 2020 a no bid Covid-19 contract with Sema-4?  Wouldn't this be a direct violation of this ethics ruling of May 16, 2019?  Where was the overview of the contract?  Where was the oversight by the well paid but functionally incompetent state agencies who were supposed to "police" the Governor's financial investments?  Wasn't the Governor's family hedge fund heavily invested in Sema-4 at this time?

The actual investigation has been done for three years now by Tony De Angelo on his weekly segment on the Lee Elci Show on 94.9FM radio.  He has been precise in his analysis and facts he has presented weekly.  Conversely we have never seen any analysis or investigation on this matter completed by the state.  Tony was the first to point out that this "Advisory Ethics Opinion" is nothing but a deceptive sham agreement cleverly designed to mislead the reader that an actual act of compliance and ethics is in fact taking place, where in fact there is none.

When a person runs for elected office, is a multi-millionaire, and basically buys his way into office it is a severe conflict of interest for the Taxpayers he is supposed to represent.  Ned Lamont is the poster man for this.  Please remember former Republican Governor John Rowland was forced to resign for basically having house repairs done on his weekend home by a contractor at no charge, a minimal amount of money involved.  That was and is illegal and unethical.  However when we fast forward to 2019, Democrat Ned Lamont is a shining example of creating a corrupted administration that services few in the state other than his hedge fund, friends of his family's hedge fund and the Democrat/Socialist based splinter fringe groups that have all had a hand in destroying the state and its communities with their radical demands and laws.  Democrat corruption in the opinion of many has been happening in the state since 2019.  The red-herring Advisory Board Opinion gave a green light to a no holds barred takeover of profits over people by the Lamont's.  A theme that seems to be the cornerstone of a Democrat Governor earning $54 million dollars a year that can not be revealed.  And four years later we are left only with dead silence by an obedient and self serving state run media on these issues.

There is a great deal more to the story.  It really should be investigated and made public. A real working media would pepper Lamont with queries on this daily. Don't you think?  It is 1776 all over again.

Democrat Connecticut-Where You Have No Medical Privacy Especially For Genome Testing

Why isn't our medical information private? Why is this information allowed to be shared with a company that has direct ties to Ned Lamont's families hedge fund?  Where are the actual contracts that allowed this to happen?  How much is it costing Connecticut Taxpayers for this supposed legal theft of personal information?

Tony De Angelo who has a weekly radio spot with Lee Elci on WJJF 94.9 FM radio in New London, CT was the first individual in the state to bring these issues with Ned Lamont, Sema-4, payments to Sema-4, and genome testing to light for the public.  I like to expand and bring this issue back into the public view of Connecticut Taxpayers and voters.   When reading Connecticut's state run media news reports one finds little to no information on this issue.  Why is that?  Fraud seems to have taken place, payments have been made to Sema-4 with apparently no paperwork involved, and amazingly once again Ned Lamont's family hedge fund has profited off the backs of Connecticut Taxpayers.

Why did Sema-4 receive a second no bid state contract for genome testing on Connecticut's children and other Connecticut citizens?  If one looks closely at the contract one would see that genome testing was taking place on any individual no matter age who tested positive for Covid-19.  The information on this was apparently then kept by Sema-4 and then sent to a database in Munich, Germany (this is considered the subcontractor in the work order).  Two purchase orders were issued by the State Public Health Department one for $688,500 and one for $500,000.  The time frame for these two purchase orders was September 28, 2021 for payments.  If one looks at the Connecticut record of payments made to vendors you can see that $2.1 million dollars worth of payments were made to Sema-4 on April 30, 2022  after they supposedly quit all testing in the state in March 2022.  Sema-4 then received $3.6 million dollars in payments from April 30, 2022 to June 2, 2022.  What were these payments for?  Were any purchase orders and or contracts issued for these payments?  There seems to be a massive amount of errors, back tracking, breaking of the contract, not breaking of the contract, why they were paid, where data went, where data did not go, and damage control to justify the additional $3.6 million dollars worth of payments that were made to Sema-4 on April 30, 2022  after they supposedly quit all testing in the state in March 2022.   However in my opinion it is impossible to both understand and to justify these payments other than Ned Lamont's family hedge fund has a financial interest in Sema-4 that obviously runs much deeper than Connecticut Taxpayers interests and ethics.

Also what happens when Ned Lamont loses the election for Governor?  How will Ned Lamont's family hedge fund continue to make money off of Connecticut Taxpayers?

The bigger question is why did this personal medical information on genome testing take place?  And why is this information now in some sort of database in Munich, Germany?  Who can see it and why must they see it?  Was the Covid-19 virus just a big experiment to gain profits for an elite few such as Sema-4 and Ned Lamont's family hedge fund?  I thought your personal medical information was private and not part of a vast socialist experiment by a ruthless political ruling class?  Sadly all of my questions and questions of many others continue to go unanswered.  I would like to thank a common Connecticut citizen, Tony De Angelo, and the Lee Elci radio show for this investigative work in exposing a horrific debacle of payments and testing that never should have happened nor been paid out.

This issue will be a defining issue on the Governors race.  Connecticut's government is an unethical and incoherent debacle.  It is 1776 all over again.

The Connecticut Democrat Party And Its Lack Of Ethics

Ethics can be defined as the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group as in what is right versus what is wrong in a moral sense.

This past week Connecticut Taxpayers should question the ethics of the Connecticut Democrat Party as to several problems that were somewhat reported by the state run media and have been seen in national media outlets.  They all involve in my opinion massive corruption by Democrat elected officials and unethical behavior.

First was a tweet by the official Twitter account of Connecticut Senate Democrats sharing a cartoon on Thursday October 21 comparing parents who are angry with their local school boards to horror movie villains.  I must be forgetting something since parents have apparently no right to question school officials when it comes to critical race theory and or any other theories that are being taught in Connecticut schools and or be brainwashed into their children while they are continually forced to wear their masks listening to this garbage called education.  I can see why parents are upset about this tweet and I can see that the Connecticut Democrat Party would stoop this low to do something like this to demean and discredit Connecticut parents to get their agenda through.

Second was the continuing case of Bridgeport Democrat State Senator Dennis Bradley over a fraudulent attempt to obtain public campaign funds for his 2018 State Senate campaign which is going to trial apparently in December.  Bradley is a lawyer and is still serving in office being paid by Connecticut Taxpayers while this is going on.  Stratford Democrat Tina Manus, a former town council member, entered a guilty plea to one charge of wire fraud in conjunction with this case.  Manus worked on his campaign.  One charge that stands out in Bradley's case was "Falsifying campaign finance reports to receive $84,140 of public dollars in aid of his campaign". (onlyinbridgeport.com)  Nothing that the Democrat Party does in Bridgeport surprises me as the corruption seems to be everywhere in the city.

Third was State Representative Michael DiMassa being charged with stealing $636,000 in federal COVID relief funds from West Haven, while he was employed by the City Council.  Democrat West Haven Mayor Nancy Rossi who also is a certified public accountant finally saw after many months of apparent searching and right before the local election that DiMassa was misusing the funds.  For example DiMassa’s consulting bills were paid the day after he submitted them.  My question is why was he doing consulting for the city on Covid issues while he was a person in charge of allocating these funds and is a State Representative at the same time?  What was his background that made him an expert on Covid?  It took Mayor Rossi that long to see what was going on?

The Connecticut Democrat Party in my opinion lacks ethics and morals.  There may be some non corrupted Democrats in the state however they are to me are few and far between.  Between the constant saga of Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and his family's hedge fund profits off the never ending Covid-19 crisis in the state to the state teachers pension fund receiving Covid-19 funds apparently hand delivered by State Treasurer Shawn Wooden to now the dumping of hundreds of thousands of unsolicited absentee ballots by Democrat Town Committees throughout many towns and cities in the state, ethics and morals no longer exist in this party.  The Connecticut Democrat Party has helped to destroy the state's economy and ranks last or near last in many economic categories while near first in highest taxes in the country.   The Connecticut Democrat Party is on a power trip and will win at any and all costs to make the state fall under its omnipotent one party rule and its party rule only.  Laws and rules no longer pertain to them.

May Connecticut Rest In Peace from this slaughter.
