Connecticut’s Damaged Economy

Connecticut’s economy is damaged.  Today is Day 320 of Ned Lamont’s Imperial Executive Order one man rule shutdown.  And it is supposed to continue until April 20th.  I guess it will never end even as the governing body of Connecticut, the State Legislature has gone back into session.  So far the Democrat controlled Omnipotent One Party Rule 2021 Legislature has come up with-you guessed it-new and higher taxes for the upcoming session.  What I am confused about as a Taxpayer is even though the Governor has extended his Executive Order Administration for yet another two months, why has the State Legislature gone into session just to install new and higher taxes?  A session that already does little to address the massive economic damages that have been inflicted upon the state economy by our Executive Order Governor and the Democrat Party with a never ending shut down of the state.  Can we then logically assume that if any disease causes the death of one Connecticut resident that the economy will be shut down until a cure for that disease occurs?   No matter how severe or mild the health issue is?

Some of the new taxes that the Democrat 2021 Legislature has come up with includes tolls again, a one mill tax on property taxes and capital gains, a $20 tax if you do not vote, just to mention a few.  I still am wondering how well the tax increases since the state income tax was enacted in 1991 have bettered Connecticut’s economy, created economic growth and economic stimulation?  Can some elected official explain to me how having as many taxes and excessively high tax rates that we have in the state on an incredible amount of goods and services has brought about economic prosperity for Connecticut Taxpayers and Businesses?

There again has been no mention of any cuts in state spending for the new fiscal year.  Political patronage jobs continue to flow freely in the state.  The Governor’s Hedge Fund has benefited economically during our never ending Covid-19 crisis.  And Connecticut’s economy remains badly damaged by the years of unyielding and incomprehensible tax increases, new taxes and unchecked state spending that produce little if any benefit to the Connecticut Taxpayer.  Why is it still continuing in the face of massive unemployment in the state, colossal amounts of businesses that have closed for good, and $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities?  What is the economic benefit any more to tax increases?  To satisfy a failed liberal Democrat agenda of socialism and keeping citizens from gaining economic freedom?
Is that the real reason that the Connecticut Democrat Party has damaged our economy beyond recognition?  And what is the plan to fully reopen Connecticut?  When illness and disease has been completely eliminated in the state by the Governor's Hedge Fund?  Or when his Hedge Fund has made enough profit?
Connecticut Taxpayers deserve much better from their failed Executive Order Governor and Government.   We need checks and balances once again in the state.
It is time to cut state spending and cut state taxes to turn our economy around.  The lies of the Connecticut Democrat Party are now the truths they believe in and expect us to believe in also.  These are still the lies that on a daily basis that we are being force fed that continue to damage Connecticut’s economy.  Enough is enough.

History Repeats Itself. Free America.

History has always been very interesting to me.  I have always felt history repeats itself.  In 2020 and now in 2021 history in my opinion is repeating itself again with the new but mostly old Biden Administration.
Being born in 1958 and growing up at the time I did, I was taught in grade school during the 1960's to “Duck and Cover” by squatting underneath my school desk in case of a nuclear attack and when I heard the air raid sirens.  We practiced that exercise once a month that was supposed to save our lives.  My early years from when I can first remember was spent dealing with and trying to rationalize the never ending Vietnam War which in my opinion could have been won by our country if our elected officials did not try to run the war especially President Johnson.  If the war was won South Vietnam and Cambodia would have been independent and free countries.  Many lives would have been saved and Cambodia would have never seen the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot who murdered over 1.7 million of his own people during their four year reign of terror.  This twenty year war finally was lost in 1975 while in the interim America saw massive protests against the war on almost a daily basis along with the issues of President Nixon and his spying on his political foes ultimately ending in his resignation in 1974.  Then throw in the mix an energy crisis in which we are lead to believe that if we don’t conserve energy we will run out of it in a few short years.  That was the fear I was forced to understand during my childhood and teen years.
Needless to say one could argue that is was a very unsettling time to grow up in our country.  Daily on the news was the mix of war, protests, a “bad” President along with no more energy.  Inflation, shortages and fear were the norm of the time.  Sort of what we have just experienced since March 2020 and still going on today, news filled with protests, a government mandated shut down of the economy in Democrat controlled states, a civil war against those who don’t agree with your political beliefs, certain death from Covid-19 if you do not follow the draconian mask centered guidelines that have been developed on the fly by both “political” and “health” experts and a rigged election and election process.
Getting back to history, I finally got some relief during the Reagan Administration as energy prices became deregulated, oil became plentiful and America became a strong country both economically and in the world view.  President Carter literally destroyed our economy and was a weak world leader during his term in the late 1970's and 1980.  President Reagan believed in freedom and ultimately he helped to bring about the end of the Cold War.  It paved the path for freedom to the oppressed people of Communist Eastern Europe and Russia.  I personally never thought Communism would be torn apart like that in my lifetime.  It was a period of prosperity for both our country up to roughly 1990 until the short Gulf War of 1990-91 that occurred which created the foundation for horrific events that were to happen ten years later.  1991 began the long decline in Connecticut’s economy with an “Independent” Governor’s lies about a Utopian Income Tax and all the revenue problems it would solve.  Connecticut thus began a thirty year decline based upon fraudulent tax and spend policies that has led the state in 2021 to a staggering $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  Connecticut sees a continuing recession until this day.   On a national level in 1993 President Clinton started an eight year term of deception, White House sexual adventures and the ignoring of worldwide terrorism growing especially in our country.
9/11 is a day that lives in history.  We all know what happened that day the murder of many innocent American lives by terrorism.  President Bush reacted quickly and swiftly and the country is back at war although this time it is even more difficult to know who the enemies are.  The war on terrorism continues this day costing once again many lives and money to keep our country and world free from terrorists.  News at that time presented to Americans on a daily basis expresses fear and uneasiness especially if one wishes to fly again.  Massive changes are implemented immediately to “protect” those who travel in and out of our country.  We as Americans must “Say something if we see something”.  Fear seems to be everywhere.  The economy is up and down.
In 2008 the presidential election brings us eight long years of President Obama and a rapid decline in our economy, unchecked immigration and our status in the world as the President feels a need to apologize to the world for our country’s strengths and history.  America becomes stagnant, restless and unsafe.  There is growing unrest by those American citizens who believe in freedom and the greatness of our country.  This leads to the rise of the anti-politician and the election of a non-politician in President Trump.  President Trump oversees a reversal of the failed policies of the political swamp of Washington leading to massive increases in our economy with more jobs, more disposable income, great gains in the stock markets and a feeling of prosperity that has not been felt since the days of President Reagan until what amounts to being a planned pandemic of a deadly flu virus via China that hits us in March of 2020.  And as we all know President Trump exposed the Washington political scene for what it really is, a combination of deception, lies and fraud.  The swamp despises our freedom and the American Taxpayer. And President Trump is made to pay for it with a constant barrage of accusations thrown at him daily and with two baseless impeachments.  Just think about the amount of Taxpayers monies that were wasted and are continuing to be wasted in pursuit of the Democrats bias against President Trump.  The hatred of President Trump by the elite ruling political class and the biased media is and was astounding. It seems like it will never let up.  This hatred only increases the intensity of the 75 million plus people who legitimately voted for President Trump in November and still believe in his goals and programs.  The same goals and programs that President Biden has started to strip away in just four quick days.  He has undone already tremendous growth, prosperity and most importantly personal freedoms that are guaranteed by the United States Constitution.  He combines the worse of our worse Presidents in our nation’s history such as President Carter, President Johnson and President Buchanan.  It will be a long four years if this Administration lasts that long.
History repeats itself.  I have lived through many incredible man made and natural crises, wars, economic recessions/depressions, flu pandemics, diseases, and fear.  And I have seen time and time again history repeating itself although never to the extent that I see at this time of the destruction of our freedom of speech and personal liberty and freedom.  We need to understand our history and also remember that in our history our country was founded based on prayer, faith in the almighty Lord, and freedom from tyranny and unjust rulers.   It cannot be forgotten.  Nor will it be forgotten as the next real leader and President for our country is nestled somewhere in our United States of America waiting to come onto the political scene.  And he or she will emerge soon to lead America to its greatness once again.  Don’t despair.  Pray for our country’s health, prosperity and well-being.  The country will survive.  History does repeat itself.  Free America from its current tyranny.  It will be free once again.

Connecticut’s Constant Budget Mess

Connecticut’s budget year is upon us.  Connecticut Taxpayers are used to the usual rhetoric spewed by Ned Lamont, his consulting groups, his hedge fund and the Democrat controlled state legislature.  The rhetoric is new and higher taxes, new and or higher “user” fees, cuts to programs that impact people most in need such those with disabilities and the elderly, and once again for “tolls”.  If one goes back and looks at the last thirty years of Connecticut’s budgets one will see a massive increase in state spending, a massive amount of programs placed “off budget” to hide them,  massive increases in taxes, new taxes, and new and higher user fees.  2021 starts the same as it has since 1991.  Connecticut is running a massive budget deficit this year anywhere from $2 to $3 billion dollars and we will probably see new and or higher taxes and tolls as being the only way to solve this deficit.  Sound familiar?  It should because it is what Connecticut Taxpayers have heard for the past thirty years from their government.  These "new" taxes were going to solve all the revenue problems of the state from the fairness of a state income tax, to a secret gross earning tax on gasoline, to a $250 tax to file a piece of paper to the Secretary of State’s office to state that you are still in business, to a tax on every can of paint you buy, a tax of every plastic bag you use for your groceries, a tax to be placed in a supposed fund to pay for people for family leave in 2022, a tax on your car registration to get into state parks whether you use them or not, etc.  This list of taxes and user fees is endless in Connecticut and to me is the result of out of control state spending that has shown little if any positive economic results for either businesses or citizens of the state while at the same time running up an insurmountable $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  Why is this lost on our elected officials?
Connecticut’s elected officials need to get a handle on spending.  The amount of money that is wasted on a state level is enormous.  I would love to hear a brave state legislator from either party introduce a bill for a full forensic audit of all of the state’s assets, liabilities and spending.  I would enjoy bills introduced in the State House and Senate to decrease state spending on political patronage jobs, programs that have failed the state economically and an across the board cut in all state agencies budgets.  Start taking action on the economic crisis that this state has had to live through since 1991.  Start respecting Connecticut Taxpayers and not use them as their personal bank accounts to gain wealth and power.  Start demanding economic efficiencies from each state agency to cut spending.  Force any state agency that must deal with the public to become consumer friendly and courteous to the Connecticut Taxpayers they are dealing with.
Ned Lamont, his consulting groups, his hedge fund and the Democrat controlled state legislature should admit once and for all that the state has serious economic issues and a state spending problem.  Instead,
Connecticut Taxpayers must deal with and live with a constant budget mess.  Thirty years of this is enough-don’t you think?

Really? The First Day Of Connecticut’s Comeback Story? Where?

Ned Lamont recently gave his State of the State speech.  It was the “First Day of Connecticut’s Comeback Story” according to our state run media.   Obviously the speech was a glorification of Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Obviously the speech was written with the help of the many Connecticut Taxpayer funded consultants that are in the Lamont Administration via no bid contracts. Obviously the speech had to be prerecorded and given if front of an empty General Assembly.  Obviously the speech stated the usual promises of what a great job he has done as Governor, how he feels the state is his family (especially when his family can profit from Covid-19 and his Executive Orders).  Obviously the speech announces more new revenue streams that will be the cure all to Connecticut $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities via the legalization of marijuana, sports and online betting, etc.  Obviously Connecticut no longer has a drug overdose problem since marijuana becomes legal and taxed.  Obviously Connecticut with its massive amount of “legal” gambling already will flourish even more with this new revenue stream of even more legal gambling.  Obviously the states unemployed will somehow see jobs created for them via his speech.  Obviously the businesses that were shut down due to Lamont’s Executive Orders will somehow reopen again, be debt free and flourish from his speech.  Obviously the state I live in and work in is much different than the state that Ned Lamont talked about in his speech.  I wonder what state he is talking about and where is it located?  Because to me it is not Ned Lamont’s Utopian Connecticut.
It is funny that most Democrats called President Trump a Dictator.  However I and many others feel that Ned Lamont through his Executive Order Decrees that have ruined the state’s economy. This coupled with his no bid secret state contracts with some of his family’s Hedge Fund companies represents a Dictator in a pure political power role over his subjects known as the Connecticut Taxpayers who foot the bill for this corruption and abuse of power.
Lamont’s speech was once again short on specifics big on what he did two years ago and long on political generalizations.  His speech lacked depth and understand of the grave economic conditions that are seen in Connecticut in 2021.  What is the plan?  More taxes?  More new commissions to study why the state economy has collapsed?  Connecticut Taxpayers have been hearing this type of speech since Lowell Weicker’s State Income cure-all in 1991.   And Connecticut Taxpayers are now in their 30th year of listening to 30 years of the same “First Day of Connecticut’s Comeback Story” year in and year out, over and over and over again.  And guess what Connecticut has yet to come back.

Connecticut's New Year-2021

Happy New Year.  It is now 2021.  Unfortunately Connecticut's New Year seems to be replicating 2020 already.  Supposedly a new General Assembly will be sworn in on Wednesday in a safe and protected environment (obviously the same environment that Connecticut Taxpayers must do their grocery shopping in at large chains).  Thus they will apparently be wearing their masks (N-95 type?), take Covid-19 tests supplied by a Lamont hedge fund invested company, only walking one way up and down their outdoor aisles and have their temperatures checked possibly hourly in order to assemble.  Could they possibly meet and address the massive economic problems the state has since Ned Lamont locked down the state in March?  Could they possibly cut state spending to address the massive downturn in tax revenues and yet again another budget deficit? Could they possibly overturn and eliminate the new .05% Payroll Tax on a hypothetical Family Leave Act/Law/Decree giveaway that may go into effect in 2022?  Could they make Connecticut Taxpayers safe from theft and thieves who seem to be running rampant in the state due to the lack of enforcement of laws by our Police especially with car thefts and car break ins?  Could they address the 25% State Unemployment rate?  Could they state in writing what are all the incredible new jobs that unemployed state residents are going to be training for?  Could they eliminate the upcoming 17 cents gasoline tax that Lamont has signed on to?  Could they tell Connecticut Taxpayers what is the plan to pay off $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with Connecticut's unfunded liabilities?  Could they tell Connecticut Taxpayers what is the plan and time frame to fully reopen Connecticut's destroyed economy?  Could they explain to Connecticut Taxpayers why the Lamont's family hedge fund invested companies and those individuals/businesses who have ties and connections to the Connecticut Democrat Party have received and are continuing to receive no bid Connecticut Taxpayer funded contracts?  Could they make these same contracts public knowledge and post them daily on the Connecticut Taxpayer funded state website in their entirety for public knowledge?

2021 to me seems a great deal the same as did 2020 here in Connecticut.  We still have a corrupted secret executive order government.  We still have high taxes, high unemployment, a horrific business environment, massive debt and a net migration of population out of the state.  I think Connecticut Taxpayers should get some answers and accountability out of our new General Assembly.  I think however we will get more of the same failed General Assembly that used to meet in 2020 and has been meeting since 1991.  Free Connecticut from this tyranny called government in 2021.

$600 Take It Or Leave It-Do You Understand?

$600 Take It Or Leave It-Do You Understand?

Take it or leave it peasants.  Political waste, fraud and a classic view of our government swamp was on full display with one of most brazen rapes of American Taxpayers shown with over 5,600 pages of pork in the guise of “stimulus” and “Covid-19 relief”. The bill if one could actually read it or be allowed to read and digest it shows the waste of Taxpayers monies found in it and also shows the total disrespect the Democrat Party along with many RINO’s in Congress has for the American public in general.  It is corruption at its worse.
Why so much pork for foreign countries now while many Americans are on the verge of bankruptcy?  $600 is the bribe for Americans from this bill.
The following is just a sampling of what has been found in the bill:
The National Art Gallery $154,000,000.
The Smithsonian $1,000,000,000.
The Kennedy Center $40,000,000.
The Ukraine $453,000,000
Pakistan $25,000,000 ($10,000,000 for gender identity)
Egypt $1,300,000.
Cambodia $85,000,000. (didn’t we fight a war there?)
Asia RIA $1,400,000,000. (I can’t find out what this actually is or what it is for?)
$2,500,000 to count the number of amberjack fish in the Gulf of Mexico.
Illegal Aliens can receive up to $1800 also in this bill.
The list of waste in this bill is endless.  And on and on it goes.
$2 trillion dollars ($2,000,000,000,000) basically wasted on nothing to do with Covid-19 nor stimulus except for those who are politically connected.
And Democrats are actually defending this bill as written.  It is sickening that this bill would even be passed.  It is an insult to the American public and the American Taxpayer.  The political swamp that created this bill in Washington is alive and well.  And the public be damned.  $600 take or leave it.  Why don’t you understand?  Our corrupt and unethical government has once again failed us.  Why are we paying taxes for to support this sham?

Connecticut's No Shared Sacrifice Government

There is no shared sacrifice in Connecticut's government since Ned Lamont and his consulting group issued lock down orders in March.  None.  Do you know of any areas of Connecticut's budget that was cut?  Do you know of any elected and or appointed management or union state government official who took a wage or benefit cut?  Do you know why state employee unions received their pay increase on July 1 even though unemployment in the state was roughly 25% at that time?  And now the state unemployment fund in broke and has to borrow money from the federal government.  Do you why there was no cuts whatsoever in state spending in any state agency or department?  Do you know where your Federal tax dollars went in Connecticut's share of Cares Act monies?  Do you know how many firms that are affiliated with the Lamont Family Hedge Fund received parts of Connecticut's share of Cares Act monies? Do you know many of these same companies either received no bid emergency state contracts and or have donated directly or indirectly to the Connecticut Democrat Party?

So why are you doing without if your state government is not doing without?  Why are you sacrificing if Ned Lamont or the Connecticut Democrat Party is not?  He along with all of our elected officials and both management/union employees are not giving up one red cent to help the state in our current economic crisis.  Ironic isn't it since Connecticut has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities?  And we see many business owners life's work, their businesses and savings lost by the constant drumbeat of fear-doom and gloom due to the self induced chronic Covid-19 crisis and shutdown. A crisis that apparently will never end since an elite few who are politically connected can benefit from it economically apparently forever and ever since there is no and never will be questioning of where Connecticut Taxpayer's monies are being spent at this time.

There is no shared sacrifice in Connecticut's government.  Why should there be anyways? Ned Lamont's state government is ruled by fear and executive order.   Connecticut's Taxpayers work for the benefit of our state government.  A state government void of ethics, economic responsibilities and common sense.  I again ask when will Connecticut be open again?  The silence continues to be deafening.  Especially since I can not hear anything due to my deafness when someone speaks through their Ned Lamont and his consulting group/hedge fund's mask of fear and shame.

What Connecticut Needs

 What Connecticut Needs

Connecticut needs a great deal.  It used to be an economically diverse and dynamic state that was also known as “The Constitution State”.  The state had excellent schools, strong police departments, a strong sense of community, opportunities for jobs and personal growth along with diverse independent towns and cities that had a strong self-government.  Most of that changed with the draconian State Income tax that was passed in 1991 and 30 years of unchecked Democrat social liberalism.
Connecticut in 2020 is a vastly different and economically and socially incoherent wasteland of its citizens, businesses and resources.  Connecticut in 2020 has become a welfare state run by a multi-millionaire Governor and his hedge fund gaming profits off its taxpayers coupled with a small politically obedient base of state union and management workers dictating to the rest of the state their incessant demands for higher salaries, benefits and pensions.  Connecticut in 2020 is ruled by decree in a dictatorial fashion, those who question and or oppose this illegal rule are condemned and nullified by the ruling elite and its consultants.  Connecticut in 2020 is no longer a safe state to live in with constant crime, a de-funding and elimination of police services and rampant illegal drug problems and issues.  Connecticut in 2020 forces its citizens to live in constant fear of Covid-19 no matter what precautions they take.  Connecticut in 2020 has some of the highest taxes in the country, a crumbling infrastructure, a net migration of its population moving out of the state, and one of the poorest business climates in the country.  And Connecticut in 2020 now has over $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities that it has absolutely no idea how to address nor wishes to address.
Connecticut needs a great deal if it wishes to avoid bankruptcy and a complete destruction of its economy and its citizens while hiding under the pretense of keeping us safe from Covid-19.  It is apparent that everything that our Executive Order Governor has done and is doing is still not protecting those most in need being our senior citizens in nursing homes and those citizens who are impaired physically and mentally.  And it also apparent that our Department of Public Health is ill prepared for any type of health crisis whether it is this current one and or one even more severe.
Connecticut needs a new government.  It needs a new state government that is open, that functions on a day-to-day basis, has checks and balances, eliminates lobbyists and most importantly is transparent to those taxpayers who are forced to support it.  Connecticut needs a complete independent forensic audit of all of it departments, buildings, equipment, and cash spent on every line item in its budget.  I am confident that the amount of fraud, waste and political do nothing patronage jobs that would be found would astound even the most liberal taxpayer in our state.  Connecticut also needs a working media that has objectivity and is not run by the Connecticut Democrat Party.
A small group of individuals in our state who believe in freedom and who are continually condemned as being “hard right” and or “ridiculous” for bringing up the chronic waste and fraud that we see in the state on a daily basis will continue our fight to restore Connecticut.  Maybe just maybe it might be time for others to join us and bombard our elected officials with our suggestions and demands to make Connecticut free again and not a vast economic wasteland.  Maybe just maybe someone in our supposed state government would listen this time.  Free Connecticut.  Or may just maybe it is too late.  I can’t say that I didn’t try to save our state nor do I have any regrets about my actions to save it either.

Connecticut: The Lost State

Connecticut: The Lost State

Connecticut is the lost state.  It is lost in so many ways it becomes difficult to keep track of.  The daily fear based state media along with our non-functioning government coupled with an Executive Order Governor who is profiting from Covid-19 has created an out-of-control economic debacle unfolding in front of our eyes.  We have a broke unemployment compensation system, excessively high unemployment, businesses shutting down never to reopen again, a net migration of population moving out of the state, the state ranking last or near last in all economic activities, the state ranking in the top five in highest taxes in the country and $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  What’s more to say if we are not lost?  And the reward for this fiscal nightmare is two more years of unchecked one party rule by the Connecticut Democrat Party in this past election.  We are lost as a state.
In case our elected officials do not realize it the shutdown of the state economy due to Covid-19 coupled with the limited reopening of certain segments of the state economy have done little to eliminate fear in the state nor get Connecticut working again.  Is public education functional at all?  What are our children learning in school-how to wear a mask?  The constant unknown in our state is perpetuated by the lack of leadership Ned Lamont has shown in this crisis with again statistics that do not justify the closures that continue to be mandated by Lamont and his consultants.  And what will be done to close the massive budget deficits in the coming budget?
Since we are the lost state the losses in revenues will probably be debated in the following manner:
1. Executive Order Governor Lamont signs an Executive Order mandating tolls.  The Democrat controlled legislature accepts it as law stating there are no alternatives to raising much needed cash for the state (even though people are driving less and that it will increase the cost of living in state dramatically)
2. Legalize all forms of betting.  How much revenue comes in from this is unknown, those most likely to bet are the individuals who have the most to lose and further their problems of being poor and or in poverty.
3. Legalize cannabis.  This would be a liberal’s dream as supposedly the tax revenue that would be coming into Connecticut would be astounding and never ending.  No mention of the continuing long term drug problems that Connecticut has with legal and illegal drug overdoses and deaths-the state is more concerned with the revenue that would coming in.  I see a great deal of irony that we have destroyed the state economy in trying to keep people from dying from Covid-19 while there is a carefree attitude towards drug addiction so long as it generates tax revenue.  Not to mention the amount of young people who will become addicted to this legal drug and move onto stronger drugs in the future.  Not to mention the amount of accidents that will be forthcoming while people are impaired under this “legal” marijuana.
4. Continue to raise all state income taxes and state sales taxes while adding additional user fees to any and every activity that takes place in the state.  This tried and true method I am sure will be sought as the “only” alternative to keep state employee salaries, benefits and pensions at excessively high levels.  In turn these high salaries, benefits and pensions are unsustainable and have given state taxpayers one of the worse managed and run state governments in the country.
A more simplistic solution to the state’s economic problems is one that is rarely mentioned nor endorsed by our current one party rule.  Drastically cut state spending.  We the taxpayers of Connecticut must cut our spending but this concept is unheard of in Hartford.  Then and only then will Connecticut be able to attempt to recover economically from the many years of fiscal neglect and incompetence that has been brought about by the Connecticut Democrat Party.  This Covid-19 crisis has shown Connecticut taxpayers how poorly prepared the state is to protect it citizens especially those most vulnerable during a crisis while allowing unchecked profits to be gained from those politically connected especially for Ned Lamont and family.  I personally am tired of paying taxes in Connecticut to support this fraud and ineffectiveness called state government.  Maybe by not funding Hartford would be a way for Connecticut to find its way again from its lost state status in America today.  Maybe that should be tried this time?

Connecticut’s Mediocre Government

Connecticut’s Mediocre Government

Mediocre is defined as of moderate or low quality, value, ability, or performance.  Connecticut’s government has transformed into a mediocre bureaucracy and a massive level of mediocrity that is usually seen when one political party (Democrats) rules the state and checks and balances are eliminated in the descent to economic oblivion.  Connecticut‘s regression has been on full display since Ned Lamont has decided to enslave Connecticut Taxpayers into forced servitude to help support his family and their hedge fund during the never ending Covid-19 crisis.  This is being done via no bid state contracts and a de facto consulting group advising him on every word he says.  All this while Connecticut residents abide by the ever changing guidelines of masks, social distancing, not playing loud music, not being on the road after 10pm and before 5am, etc.   Lamont has successfully been able to strip Connecticut of its economic vibrancy and dynamics due to unchecked powers that he has bestowed upon himself during this Covid-19 crisis.  A crisis where businesses have been lost for good and jobs have been eliminated forever.  A crisis where the state unemployment fund is now broke.  A crisis where there has been absolutely no cuts in government spending to try to offset the massive losses of tax revenues since the crisis has hit.  All in the name of controlling a virus that has killed roughly .0013% of the state’s population.
It is sad that 4926 Connecticut residents have died from the virus and it is even more sad that many of those deaths probably could have been prevented especially in nursing homes if there had been a more coherent plan in place to help those most in need.  I thought that was the job of Connecticut’s Department of Public Health?  But since many of those who died there were shut off from family and friends their voices are meaningless to our mediocre government.  Those who passed really have no value to our mediocre government and its constant fear based rule over the state during this crisis.  Political appointees in state departments like that help to ensure the mediocrity that is embedded in our government.
The state run media in conjunction with Executive Order Governor Lamont and the Boston Consulting Group help to control the narrative of the fear based Covid-19 crisis.  This also helps nurture the Connecticut’s mediocrity even more since there seems to be no good news reported by either the media, Lamont or our government agencies (if they still exist and are operational).  Our daily negative news about Covid-19 by Lamont gets tiring to listen to and has done considerable damage to the mental well being of many of our citizens. Fear and mental depression seem to be the norm for those who live here.  Lamont chooses to accent the chronic negative always mentioning if this or that happens he will be worried.  Worried about what?    Since the state run media is in lockstep with the Governor and his consulting group there little if any questioning of the mediocre policies that have helped to create the fear and panic felt by many in our state.  Again I ask what is the plan to reopen Connecticut.  Does it exist?  Is the plan to open Connecticut only when Boston Consulting Group says it is ok?  Is the plan to open Connecticut only when Lamont’s hedge fund has made enough profits from the virus and or has created a steady source of profits from Connecticut Taxpayers to ensure a never ending profit stream?
And the sad part about Connecticut’s mediocre government is we as taxpayers must fund it through the excessive amount of taxes we pay in the state.  And we must not question anything that is being done or has been done during this crisis.  Accountability does not exist in our state government.  Mediocrity lives and is embraced by Connecticut’s elected and appointed officials.  It is ridiculous to accept this incoherent and illogical way to govern the state that has created economic turmoil.  Connecticut Taxpayers deserve better and should defund our current regime and this charade called government now.

No More Answers For Connecticut

No More Answers For Connecticut

Once again there are no more answers for Connecticut.  With our state government shut down, our state economy spiraling out of control, massive unemployment with an unemployment fund that is broke, a state run media whose obsession with Covid-19 being the only news borders on fanatical, little if any public education being taught and or learned along with massive debt and unfunded liabilities we head into a non-permitted Holiday season.  We truly have the real life Executive Order Governor/Grinch who is stealing Thanksgiving and Christmas and whose only concern is protecting his media image in the never ending, profit making Covid-19 pandemic for him and his friends.  A pandemic that I will assume will mean the death of everyone here in our state since we apparently are not wearing masks, social distancing, washing our hands and thus will eliminate Connecticut except for Ned Lamont, his family’s hedge fund, those politically connected and the Connecticut Democrat Party and its members.  I truly question where the high approval ratings for Ned Lamont are coming from?  Push polls?
Here are the questions that are never answered:
What is the plan to reopen Connecticut?  Does it exist? Why must we be off the roads between 10pm and 5am each day?  Is Covid-19 most prevalent during that time frame?  Why can’t all businesses be open especially restaurants if they follow proper Covid-19 protocols?  Why are there changing metrics that place all towns and cities in the state in a “red” zone for Covid-19 at all times now?  Why does the positivity rate change all the time as a measure of non-improving numbers for Covid-19?
How many Connecticut residents have recovered from Covid-19?  How many Covid-19 tests in the state have been false positives?  How many people are being tested with no symptoms whatsoever?  Why are they being tested?  What is the number of deaths currently by suicide and drug overdose in the state?  Is depression creating more suicides and drug overdoses during this time?  Why the constant message of fear that is force fed to us by the state run media and by our non working government?
What is the plan to put people back to work and to fully open all businesses so that they start earning money and bring back their employees so that they can earn income again?  Does that even exist?
When is the General Assembly going to meet again?  Why did the Governor renew his own Executive Order rule until February, 2021?  Why is Connecticut completely dependent upon consultants and consulting groups such as the Lamont friendly Boston Consulting Group via no bid state taxpayer funded contracts?  Why are there no longer checks and balances in our state government?
What is the plan to address the $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities?  How are exceptionally high future pensions going to be paid?  New and higher taxes?  Why can’t Connecticut be more business friendly?
In nine months of the Covid-19 crisis it seems we have not progressed much at all.  Connecticut residents must live in fear and the threats of death from Covid-19 if we do not follow what the supposed consultants/experts are telling us to do.  And we must cede most of our personal freedoms to Ned Lamont and his consultants who are telling him what to do and when to do it.  But yet we still apparently do not stop the virus.  Ironic isn’t it?  And once again there are no more answers for Connecticut. Again and again.  No answers-not one.

Connecticut's Fear And Failures

Connecticut continues its fear based way of life thanks to our Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Everything seems to be constantly breaking down around us with the never ending spread of Covid -19 along with the daily fear based state run media stories about it.  Obviously in my opinion no matter what we do, nor how we do it, every legal citizen no matter their age or race will somehow get Covid-19.  It seems to be the narrative that has been force fed on us since last March.  Statistics along with constantly changing guidelines, measurements and reporting tools increase the fear in trying to live in Connecticut.  Apparently with all of these Covid-19 problems everyone in the state will die and I guess Connecticut will cease to exist.  Except for Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and those who are politically connected in the state.  Profits continue for many companies that have ties with the Lamont's family hedge fund via no bid and secret state taxpayer funded Covid-19 related contracts.  They all seem to be very healthy and operational.  Don't people get better from Covid-19?  Does anyone build an immunity to this disease?  How does one get the virus by being on the road after 10pm at night?  Has there been anybody who has recovered from Covid-19 in the state?

Connecticut at the same time continues with its daily economic failures with yet another poor economic report this time by Finch Reporting this past week.  Connecticut according to this report ranks next to last in the country in direct debt and net pension liabilities as a percentage of personal income.  Connecticut's debt accounted for a mere 26 percent of personal income.  Connecticut has been a bottom ranked state for several years now with enormous unfunded pension liabilities.  Connecticut currently has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  It is a massive debt that was never mentioned by either party in the recently concluded election nor never gets mentioned in our state run media.  Connecticut continues towards its path towards insolvency and bankruptcy with a never ending budget deficit and excessively high state and local property taxes.  Coupled this with draconian Ned Lamont induced restrictions on our state economy due to the fear based Covid-19 crisis thus there seems to be little hope of any economic turnaround here.  How does shutting down the state economy actually help businesses and helps to prevent Covid-19?  What is being done about the massive unemployment in the state?  It seems whether we are open or closed Covid-19 seems to be increasing.  So why can't we fully reopen, develop natural immunity to Covid-19 and get on with our lives? It could actually be worth exploring.  However that would mean a movement back to personal and economic freedoms in Connecticut and we know that may never be possible again under the Boston Consulting Group's guidelines in conjunction with Ned Lamont.

Connecticut's Taxpayers must live daily in fear of Covid-19 and with state government's economic failures.  All the direct result of poor state government and the burden of having one party rule in our state.  All the direct result of having a consulting company drive the narrative of this Covid-19 crisis.  All in the name of profit for the chosen few of the state.  Connecticut's fear of Covid-19 along with its economic failures make for a horrific way of life for the majority.  But isn't that what socialism and communism is all about?  Fear, a loss of freedoms and a never ending dependency upon a false government.  Maybe just maybe we do not want to live like this any more.

Why Must Voting Be Corrupt?

The last time I checked we lived in the United States of America.  We do not live in a “banana republic” which is defined as “any exploitative government that functions poorly for its citizenry while disproportionately benefiting a corrupt elite group or individual.”  At least I thought we have not become a “banana republic” even though I am not sure after seeing the voting debacle on election night in swing states.
I personally am not laughing at the amount of dead people who voted Democrat in this election nor why votes were stopped being counted during the night when President Trump was seen to have major leads in Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.  Seven states in total are in dispute all going from major leads by President Trump to victory to the Democrats.  Amazing.  How is this possible?  It can only be possible through vote fraud which is illegal in our voting process yet seems to have roared its ugly head last week to guarantee a Democrat victory.
Therefore we have a contested election.  While our stoic and pompous media have anointed Joe Biden as their “true” ruler, President Trump’s team of legal experts must fight for justice in the courts to gain votes that were rightly his.  Those who voted for President Trump feel that even though they voted for the President their vote was discarded especially in those seven states that are in dispute and being legally challenged.  Why are they not allowed to have their vote count?  Can any Democrat answer that question?  How are over 70 million Trump voters wrong?
The Democrat Party and our state run media have led a vicious campaign against President Trump since he was elected in 2016.  Every day for the past four years President Trump has been forced to defend himself from allegation after allegation all which was found false.  It is wrong.
Voting should be done in person on Election Day with proper ID and absentee ballots should only be given out in certain warranted situations.  There should be no early voting.  Voting records should be checked with precision and accuracy.  What this election has shown is the total disrespect that Democrats in certain states have for the electorate.  Unethical behavior should not be tolerated as our vote should be viewed as a right guaranteed by our Constitution.  This election has shown me and 70 million others how incoherent and rigged our election process has become.  It is wrong.  Free America from this cancer that is known as the Democrat Party immediately.  Let legal voters be heard.

Connecticut’s Personal Freedom Grab

“I'm doing everything I can,” he said. If “we trim our freedoms there a little bit, we'll all be alive, safe, and be able to keep our economy open." This statement was made by Connecticut Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont (https://news.yahoo.com/ned-lamont-connecticut-governor-lockdown-keep-the-economy-open-173203169.html?soc_src=hl-viewer&soc_trk=fb) in a recent interview.   This comes on the heels of yet another roll back in the economy and its openings/closings along with a self-imposed curfew from 10pm to 5am every day.  I am amazed that the Covid-19 virus can peak during this time frame daily on anyone who may be out in the fresh air and or working, visiting, living, etc.
There seems to be yet another new metric to measuring Covid-19 cases in Connecticut and we are apparently seeing some new surge in the state based on these metrics.  What the metrics are seem to change day to day to fit the fear based daily narrative of the virus.  I find the colors of orange and red to be used as warning/dangers signs on state maps to be an interesting choice as they are symbols of President Trump and the Republican Party.  More negative messages by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party, Connecticut’s state run media and the Boston Consulting Group to be fed to the panic stricken and fearful Connecticut public.
Connecticut has a population of roughly 3,400,000 people.  According to worldometers.info, Connecticut has 27,047 active Covid-19 cases as of 11/6/2020.  If one views active cases as a percentage of the total population of the state the figure is .0079% of the state’s population has Covid-19 at this time.  To me and many others this seems to be a minor amount of people in comparison to the draconian measures that been implemented by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party, Connecticut’s state run media and the Boston Consulting Group to control our lives, our businesses and help to ruin the state economy.
We have been drilled constantly that if we follow all of the guidelines that Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Department of Public Health, the Connecticut Democrat Party, Connecticut’s state run media and the Boston Consulting Group have told us we would overcome the Covid-19 virus and our lives would return to normal.  So what happened?  Supposedly cases are increasing at an incredible rate.  Why?  The blame is being placed where?  Depending on what information is being fed us at any time it is somehow restaurants that are opened at night, college students that have “Illegal” parties, more than ten people to be meeting at home, people eating dinner at 10pm, etc.  The list of things to blame can be endless at times and in my opinion defy any logic.  And we still have no idea what the state is doing to help prevent the spread of the virus for those who are most at risk including the elderly, nursing home patients and the disabled.
This virus and Connecticut have become a liberal and socialists dream.  The checks and balances of the state are long gone with a complete Democrat control of all aspects of state government from a dormant and powerless state legislature to a biased and packed court system that no longer meets, to a state run media that no longer offers a differing opinion.  Connecticut has a meek and failing economy with high unemployment and businesses closing. It has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities to deal with but who cares about that anyways?  Tuesday’s election means more of the same a stagnant economy along with more personal freedoms being taken away from its citizens and higher taxes.
Connecticut’s personal freedom grab is real.  It is the unconstitutional law now.  It is laughed about by that Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party, Connecticut’s state run media and the Boston Consulting Group as to how easy it was to take from Connecticut’s citizens.  Socialism and a command economy is the new norm for 2021 in Connecticut. Don’t forget that since it was forgotten on our “Election Day”.

On Tuesday November 3, 2020-Why Would Anyone Vote Democrat? Why?-Part 2

I really wonder why anyone would want to vote for a Democrat candidate either on a state or national level in this upcoming election.  Why?  Can someone explain it to me?

Why would anyone vote for Democrat Joe Biden for President?  The man is incoherent.  Is this really the best candidate that the Democrat Party could run this year?  He obviously has issues with his speech, memory and recognition.  Is this a person who you want to lead our country during a crisis or war?  Is this a person who in 47 years of being in political office has anything of substance to help our country?  What was his crowning political achievement?  I can not answer that since I do not know it.  Or is this a person whose only concern has been to enrich his son and his family's financial positions (sort of like the way the Clinton's did)?  Why does Joe Biden dislike the oil and fracking industries?  Why does Joe Biden dislike the police in our country?  Why does Joe Biden want to raise your taxes?  Why did Joe Biden pick a person who got less than three percent in support in the Presidential primaries as his running mate: an arrogant and Socialist Kamala Harris?   Since when did Joe Biden become a Socialist and learn to hate the country he wants to be President of?  What did he actually do for his son Hunter for financial gain?  Why does the Democrat Party dislike America so much?  Again why would anyone vote for Democrat Joe Biden?

President Trump has had an incredible record as President since he was elected.   Here is a PDF version of what he has done https://lc.org/PDFs/Trump.Accomplishments.FINAL.pdf for your review.  You truly should read it.  From our economy before the Covid-19 crisis to health care to our military.  It is amazing he has done this while fighting a Democrat coup attempt to impeach him and the "swamp" enemies he has fought for the past four years in Washington.  President Trump loves the United States of America.  He has helped dramatically low income workers to better themselves through greater wages and more income.  He has helped our military.  He has appointed exceptional judges to our judicial system and Supreme Court.  He has been a true friend of Israel and has done more to ensure peace in the Middle East since President Reagan.  He is concerned for all Americans especially those who are our lowest income earners in our economy and those in most need.  He believes in country and his love for our country should be unquestioned.  Why wouldn't you vote for President Trump for four more years?  I can not see why not.

I really wonder why anyone would want to vote for a Democrat candidate either on a state or national level in this upcoming election.  Why?  Can someone explain it to me?  The United States is at a crossroads.  Do you endorse Socialism and Communism like the Democrat Party has done during this election?  Or do you value your freedom and the free way of our American life?  Do you love America?  I know I do and I proudly support President Trump and Vice President Pence for four more years of making America great again.  You should too. Trump 2020.

On Tuesday November 3, 2020-Why Would Anyone Vote Democrat? Why?-Part 1

I really wonder why anyone would want to vote for a Democrat candidate either on a state or national level in this upcoming election.  Why?  Can someone explain it to me?
Here in Connecticut we are in bad shape due to the years of political abuse and fiscal mismanagement that has been forced upon Connecticut Taxpayers and Businesses for years now compliments of the Connecticut Democrat Party and Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont.  Connecticut has massive economic problems with $150 billion dollars of short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities.  It constantly ranks at the bottom or near bottom in how business friendly or not economic surveys.  It ranks consistently in the top five states in the highest business and personal taxes in the country.  It has passed one of the worst Police accountability bills in the nation basically making Connecticut much more prone to crime and criminal activity especially theft of personal property and much less safe to live in and do business in.  And don’t forget Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont has imposed massive travel, safety and capacity regulations and restrictions forcing many businesses to incur additional costs and or that have been put completely out of business by it.  He spreads a constant fear about the virus as it seems if we do not do what he says we all will get infected somehow and die.  His statistics change all the time about how bad or how good the new “positivity” rates are.  Who is he kidding with this chronic fear mongering he is force feeding the Connecticut public with? At the same time Lamont has profited greatly through his Boston Consulting Group directives as to how to run the state during this time frame giving no bid contracts to companies associated with his wife’s hedge fund. Connecticut is also assigning these same struggling businesses Covid-19 liability under their workers’ compensation policies.  The state unemployment compensation trust fund is once again in massive debt and on the verge of being broke due to a high unemployment rate.   This is the real record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running on.   It fear based-Connecticut Citizens must live in fear of everything they do.  So please explain to me why are you voting Democrat in this Connecticut election?
When any state teeters on the verge of bankruptcy with massive short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities and has high taxes with a poor business climate it can’t have an economy that is prosperous and creates economic activity and growth with well-paying jobs contrary to what its elected officials are trying to claim.  It is a lie and deception created to nurture and protect an elite and politically connected group.  This same group claims ultimate power over its citizens through a web so complex that it is almost undetectable except for those few brave individuals who choose to investigate its corruption especially during the Covid-19 crisis.  It will continue for as long as they can keep reaping financial gain and glory.  And they do not care about the economic nightmare they have created in the state.
This is the real record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running on.   So please explain to me why are you voting Democrat in this Connecticut election?  Why?

Yet Another Connecticut Taxpayer Funded No Bid Covid-19 Contract: Thank You Ned Lamont!

I wonder when Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group will cancel both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year?  Maybe right after the election?  Or when there are more supposed "Red Zone" towns and cities?  For those who may wondering what a "Red Zone" town or city is, it means here in Connecticut that there are 15 or more cases per 100,000 people of Covid-19.  What I do not understand is that in many of the new founded "Red Zone" towns there are a lot less than 100,000 total population.  But who is willing to question our surrogate state government of Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group, who obviously are the experts when it comes to all things Covid-19? What do Connecticut Taxpayers know compared to these "experts"?  Obviously nothing except Connecticut Taxpayers have common sense which is sorely lack in Connecticut's surrogate government at this time.

What astounds me is the new Ned Lamont no bid Connecticut Taxpayer funded contract for a mere $24 million dollars to a little known California firm called AMN Healthcare.  AMN Healthcare's agreement with the state is an amazing contract of which very little is known. They are to hire, train and oversee a crew of contact tracers to supplement the efforts of the local health departments in Connecticut that apparently are overwhelmed due to Covid-19.  Under the contract, the state pays AMN $1,900 for each person hired, up to a total of 350 people. They also are paying AMN a mere $526,000 monthly in administration fees which would equal $1502.86 for each of the supposed 350 people hired (in a state that has 25% unemployment).  The company is required to submit weekly reports to Connecticut Department of Health officials who are overseeing the state’s contact tracing program to make sure they are hitting certain metrics, including contacts successfully reached within 48 hours of diagnosis and total volume of calls.  These metrics and number of calls apparently are not disclosed and are unknown at this time as there is little information that has been made public of this contract.  The contract requires that all of the tracers must be Connecticut residents and that the contract tracers to earn $29.50 an hour, case investigators to earn $43.25 an hour and supervisors $57.50 an hour.  I wonder why the Connecticut Department of Public Health can not handle this information and why must the state use yet another consultant to "trace" people who have Covid-19?  Will this tracing eliminate Covid-19 in the state?  It also shows to me how unprepared our state government is in dealing with a health crisis.  I also wonder if Connecticut Taxpayers privacy will be violated with these new contact tracers?  After all what business is it of the state to know if we are in contact with Covid-19 or not?  What happens if we are in contact with someone that has Covid-19 and do not get it?  And what is to say that our personal information will not be sold to third parties?  I do not see any guarantee of that not happening all in the name of Connecticut's never ending Covid-19 crisis. A crisis that is generating tons of money for an elite politically connected few.

Why is it going to cost Connecticut Taxpayers $526,000 per month for Administrative fees?  Why couldn't Connecticut hire these same people rather than paying $1900 per person for this company to hire them?  In a state that has 25% unemployment at this time I would venture to believe that these 350 jobs could be filled within a few hours since the only employers in Connecticut today are either our state government or Amazon Fulfillment Centers.  There is not much business left in the state to find jobs in contrary to what Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group believes.

This contract like the many other no bid contracts that have been steered by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group seem again to be of little benefit to Connecticut Taxpayers during this crisis.  We just see more of the same-a horrifically bloated state government run by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group who truly have no clue in dealing with a public health crisis and or a horrendous economy of high taxes, high unemployment and high short and long term debt along with massive unfunded liabilities.  Oh and by the way this is the record that Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party want you to re elect them on on November 3.  It defies any type of logic.  Why would anyone vote for a Democrat in the election? Why?

Can Connecticut Survive As An Executive Order State Any More?

Can Connecticut survive as an Executive Order state any more?  I wonder.  I can not see how with the economic destruction and turmoil being created because of the Covid-19 lock down and the continuing restrictions that Governor by Executive Order Ned Lamont has placed on the state.  Our elected Legislative Branch has been deemed non essential by the Governor since he apparently along with the Boston Consulting Group will run the state until further notice.  Or until a Lamont family Hedge Fund company develops a vaccine against Covid-19 that must be used by every citizen of the state.  Our elected Legislative Branch will only be able to meet to pass more liberal gibberish and feel good legislation that takes away more personal and economic freedoms along with making us less safe with the ridiculous lessening of the power of police along with contact tracing, etc.  It is a Liberal's Utopia and a Libertarian's Nightmare.  All thanks to Governor by Executive Order Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.

Can Connecticut survive 1,000,000 people out of work?  1,000,000 unemployment applications have been filed since the Governor's lock down in March.  Unemployment is now around 25% with these facts being hidden from the public view since the election is coming up and the Connecticut Democrat Party is running for election and re election on this unemployment record.  The Connecticut Democrat Party is also running for election and re election on these horrible economic facts-jobs are being lost daily, the state now has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities, the state has a net migration of people moving out, the state has one of the highest tax rates in the country, the state has one of the highest property tax rates in the country, the state has one of the highest costs of electricity in the country and one the poorest business climates in the country due to the massive closings that have taken place.  The list of economic problems they have created seem to be endless.  And the Connecticut Democrat Party feels they are qualified to continue to be the majority party for the state.  Incredible.

I think I answered once again my own question - Connecticut can not survive as an Executive Order state much longer.  It can not continue to illegally suppress economic activity on a daily basis with changing Covid-19 metrics, changing facts and statistics, changing colored maps of each town and city with their .0015% Covid-19 infection rates, and the wholesale destruction of the restaurant and hospitality industries.  And no there are not enough job retraining programs to help all of those out of work contrary to what the Connecticut Democrat Party believes.  Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party have done a horrific job during this crisis; harming those most in need in nursing homes and destroying many businesses.  Yet the politically connected continue their Connecticut Taxpayer funded profit train and those in need such as the elderly and disabled  are left to fend for themselves.  That is perfectly acceptable to Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Why?  Why is the question that the Connecticut Voter no matter what party they belong to or not belong to should be asking themselves on Election Day.  There needs to be a wholesale change in the way our state government works, it needs to function again.  Because it really no longer functions in any form now.  You can bet your germ filled mask on it.

Who Is Running Connecticut Anyways? I Want To Know

I wonder who is running Connecticut?  This seems to be a question that most people can not answer easily today here in our state.  We see that there is no longer a State Legislature that conducts business for the voters who elected them, power has been ceded to Ned Lamont via a legally questionable Executive Order manifesto of a severe socialistic one man rule in the name of health concerns.  Our election in a few weeks will provide little if anything in getting our Legislative body back to work.  We also see very little information regarding how and when our lives will become normal again with not having to wear a germ bearing mask and all activities including schools and churches being opened in a normal fashion by our Public Health Department.  Will actual news be reported again in our biased media soon not just how many or how few cases of Covid-19 we have as a state?  I personally believe Connecticut is being run by a constant fear that is being dished out daily by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and our surrogate legislature entity know as Boston Consulting Group with their no bid state contracts hand delivered to them by Ned Lamont and company.

Connecticut has massive economic problems that continue to be avoided and not discussed in any way shape or form at all costs by Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party in our upcoming election.  I get little feeling of any type of enthusiasm for this campaign by either party with the exception of several conservative Republican candidates such as State Senator Rob Sampson, candidate for State Senator Len Suzio and State Representative Craig Fishbein and a few others.  The Connecticut Democrat Party candidates are silent about the draconian shut down of the states economy, the $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities the state has, excessively high taxes and a net migration out of the state (contrary to the propaganda they are spreading about people wanting to move here).  A healthy economy fuels a healthy state.  It seems like the only thing that matters in our state is Democrat Party political nepotism, the Lamont's Hedge Fund profits and state employee labor unions for their own self economic enrichment.  The hell with Connecticut Taxpayers, their businesses, homes and jobs.

So who is really running Connecticut?  I want to know.  As a Taxpayer I don't buy the constant fear of all things relating to Covid-19 such as why walking one way in a store is going to prevent its spread or the snappy ad campaigns that we know see on billboards (financed with Connecticut Taxpayers monies).  I also would like to know what is the master plan to get back to normal in the state?  Does it exist?  Are we waiting for the Boston Consulting Group plan to be issued and therefore be followed to the letter?  Maybe when the next raises go into effect from a SEBAC agreement?  What scraps are going to be thrown to Connecticut Taxpayers by the Connecticut Democrat Party to keep them and their businesses on life support and at bay from any criticism from their actions and non actions during this crisis?  This is democracy?  This is "the Constitution State" where the State Constitution is thrown out and declared null and void?  Why is this happening as more people die of other health related issues and problems rather than from Covid-19?  I do not understand why our freedoms have been disposed of like this with no questions being asked or allowed except by a brave few?

Once again this is the record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running on at all levels of government in November.  Tell me again why you want to vote for them?  Also tell me who is running Connecticut anyways?  I want to know.

TRUMP 2020

I am taking a break from the corrupted State of Connecticut in this blog.  Not that there is still an incredible amount to write about including Ned Lamont's continuing one man power grab, a non elective de facto government consulting group running the state, an astronomical state debt and unfunded liabilities along with massive unemployment.

Today I am turning my attention to the Presidential election and the upcoming re election of President Trump and Vice President Pence.  President Trump has accomplished a great deal in his first term in his office while fighting daily his critics in the media, in Washington D.C., in both the Democrat and Republican parties and by the stale corrupted swamp that seems to define our government today.   President Trump has overcome all these obstacles to lead America back to making it truly great again much to the dismay of these same groups that have tried hard to destroy him.  Too bad here in Wallingford, Connecticut and other areas his campaign signs get stolen whenever they are put up.

Accomplishment after accomplishment defines this Administration.  Action not rhetoric is the norm.  Even with the fear driven Covid-19 virus President Trump has shown leadership qualities that to me were definitely lacking from Presidents during a crisis in the past.  He is truly a non politician running our country to make things better for all contrary to the daily negativity we are force fed by both the biased media and by the failed Democrat Party.  The same failed Democrat Party that wants their ruling elite to force our American population into submission to total government dependency.  The same failed Democrat Party that seems to be encouraging the violent destruction of Democrat run cities in our country.

I truly wonder why the Democrat Party would chose Joe Biden as their candidate for this election.  Is it because he will do the least amount of damage to the Democrat under tickets throughout the country?  Is it that no one else wanted to run knowing that there will be no way they would beat the President?  Is it they realize that today's Democrat Party is a mess of socialism and communism/dictators whose only concern is their power grab and profit making off the country and its Taxpayers as seen in Connecticut today.

President Trump had led one of the greatest economic expansions in our nation's history prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.  And Covid-19 is not President Trump's fault.  He immediately intervened in the economy with several different costly programs to try to minimize economic damage.  In my opinion he saved more lives contrary to what the media wants you to believe when he shut off all travel to China.  The Center for Disease Control should have responsibility with the many issues of Covid-19 we have seen along with the Democrat run states that counted anyone who died during this time frame even with a trace of Covid-19 in their system as a Covid-19 death.  And do not forget about China and their misinformation force fed to us about Covid-19.

I can only imagine how much further along our economy and country would have been today if President Trump would have been allowed to promote and encourage his programs rather than fighting daily false impeachment proceedings and the ceaseless and unabated lies that the media spreads about him.  It has become a bore to watch and follow.  The media has lost all of its credibility with the public and this Administration.  Peace agreements in the Middle East, hostages being released, more real jobs for Americans, and much more was accomplished by President Trump and Vice President Pence.  We also have a First Lady Melania Trump who was completely ignored also during the past four years.  Why?  Why was President Trump so bad for America when he wasn't?

Mind control of our population should not exist in our country yet when one watches network news that is all it seems to be.  And it is wrong.  How could anyone vote for Joe Biden is beyond my comprehension as it seems to me that he is very incoherent at times and seems to be suffering from either dementia or some other mental condition.  This is a man you want to handle a crisis?  I think not.  What has really done in his 47 plus years of being in politics other than make money for his family especially his son Hunter Biden?  Does he have any accomplishments?  I know of none.

Four more years of President Trump and Vice President Pence.  Our country's future is at stake. The great silent majority will speak in November.   They have had enough.
