Connecticut's No Shared Sacrifice Government
There is no shared sacrifice in Connecticut's government since Ned Lamont and his consulting group issued lock down orders in March. None. Do you know of any areas of Connecticut's budget that was cut? Do you know of any elected and or appointed management or union state government official who took a wage or benefit cut? Do you know why state employee unions received their pay increase on July 1 even though unemployment in the state was roughly 25% at that time? And now the state unemployment fund in broke and has to borrow money from the federal government. Do you why there was no cuts whatsoever in state spending in any state agency or department? Do you know where your Federal tax dollars went in Connecticut's share of Cares Act monies? Do you know how many firms that are affiliated with the Lamont Family Hedge Fund received parts of Connecticut's share of Cares Act monies? Do you know many of these same companies either received no bid emergency state contracts and or have donated directly or indirectly to the Connecticut Democrat Party?
So why are you doing without if your state government is not doing without? Why are you sacrificing if Ned Lamont or the Connecticut Democrat Party is not? He along with all of our elected officials and both management/union employees are not giving up one red cent to help the state in our current economic crisis. Ironic isn't it since Connecticut has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities? And we see many business owners life's work, their businesses and savings lost by the constant drumbeat of fear-doom and gloom due to the self induced chronic Covid-19 crisis and shutdown. A crisis that apparently will never end since an elite few who are politically connected can benefit from it economically apparently forever and ever since there is no and never will be questioning of where Connecticut Taxpayer's monies are being spent at this time.
There is no shared sacrifice in Connecticut's government. Why should there be anyways? Ned Lamont's state government is ruled by fear and executive order. Connecticut's Taxpayers work for the benefit of our state government. A state government void of ethics, economic responsibilities and common sense. I again ask when will Connecticut be open again? The silence continues to be deafening. Especially since I can not hear anything due to my deafness when someone speaks through their Ned Lamont and his consulting group/hedge fund's mask of fear and shame.

What Connecticut Needs
What Connecticut Needs
Connecticut needs a great deal. It
used to be an economically diverse and dynamic state that was also known
as “The Constitution State”. The state had excellent schools, strong
police departments, a strong sense of community, opportunities for jobs
and personal growth along with diverse independent towns and cities that
had a strong self-government. Most of that changed with the draconian
State Income tax that was passed in 1991 and 30 years of unchecked
Democrat social liberalism.
Connecticut in 2020 is a vastly different and
economically and socially incoherent wasteland of its citizens,
businesses and resources. Connecticut in 2020 has become a welfare
state run by a multi-millionaire Governor and his hedge fund gaming
profits off its taxpayers coupled with a small politically obedient base
of state union and management workers dictating to the rest of the
state their incessant demands for higher salaries, benefits and
pensions. Connecticut in 2020 is ruled by decree in a dictatorial
fashion, those who question and or oppose this illegal rule are
condemned and nullified by the ruling elite and its consultants.
Connecticut in 2020 is no longer a safe state to live in with constant
crime, a de-funding and elimination of police services and rampant
illegal drug problems and issues. Connecticut in 2020 forces its
citizens to live in constant fear of Covid-19 no matter what precautions
they take. Connecticut in 2020 has some of the highest taxes in the
country, a crumbling infrastructure, a net migration of its population
moving out of the state, and one of the poorest business climates in the
country. And Connecticut in 2020 now has over $150 billion dollars in
short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities that it has
absolutely no idea how to address nor wishes to address.
Connecticut
needs a great deal if it wishes to avoid bankruptcy and a complete
destruction of its economy and its citizens while hiding under the
pretense of keeping us safe from Covid-19. It is apparent that
everything that our Executive Order Governor has done and is doing is
still not protecting those most in need being our senior citizens in
nursing homes and those citizens who are impaired physically and mentally. And it also apparent
that our Department of Public Health is ill prepared for any type of
health crisis whether it is this current one and or one even more
severe.
Connecticut needs a new government. It needs a new state
government that is open, that functions on a day-to-day basis, has
checks and balances, eliminates lobbyists and most importantly is
transparent to those taxpayers who are forced to support it. Connecticut needs a complete independent forensic audit of all of it
departments, buildings, equipment, and cash spent on every line item in
its budget. I am confident that the amount of fraud, waste and
political do nothing patronage jobs that would be found would astound
even the most liberal taxpayer in our state. Connecticut also needs a
working media that has objectivity and is not run by the Connecticut
Democrat Party.
A small group of individuals in our state who believe
in freedom and who are continually condemned as being “hard right” and
or “ridiculous” for bringing up the chronic waste and fraud that we see
in the state on a daily basis will continue our fight to restore
Connecticut. Maybe just maybe it might be time for others to join us
and bombard our elected officials with our suggestions and demands to
make Connecticut free again and not a vast economic wasteland. Maybe
just maybe someone in our supposed state government would listen this
time. Free Connecticut. Or may just maybe it is too late. I can’t say that I didn’t try
to save our state nor do I have any regrets about my actions to save it either.

Connecticut's Fear And Failures
Connecticut continues its fear based way of life thanks to our Executive Order Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party. Everything seems to be constantly breaking down around us with the never ending spread of Covid -19 along with the daily fear based state run media stories about it. Obviously in my opinion no matter what we do, nor how we do it, every legal citizen no matter their age or race will somehow get Covid-19. It seems to be the narrative that has been force fed on us since last March. Statistics along with constantly changing guidelines, measurements and reporting tools increase the fear in trying to live in Connecticut. Apparently with all of these Covid-19 problems everyone in the state will die and I guess Connecticut will cease to exist. Except for Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and those who are politically connected in the state. Profits continue for many companies that have ties with the Lamont's family hedge fund via no bid and secret state taxpayer funded Covid-19 related contracts. They all seem to be very healthy and operational. Don't people get better from Covid-19? Does anyone build an immunity to this disease? How does one get the virus by being on the road after 10pm at night? Has there been anybody who has recovered from Covid-19 in the state?
Connecticut at the same time continues with its daily economic failures with yet another poor economic report this time by Finch Reporting this past week. Connecticut according to this report ranks next to last in the country in direct debt and net pension liabilities as a percentage of personal
income. Connecticut's debt accounted for a mere 26 percent of
personal income. Connecticut has been a bottom ranked state for several years now with enormous unfunded pension liabilities. Connecticut currently has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities. It is a massive debt that was never mentioned by either party in the recently concluded election nor never gets mentioned in our state run media. Connecticut continues towards its path towards insolvency and bankruptcy with a never ending budget deficit and excessively high state and local property taxes. Coupled this with draconian Ned Lamont induced restrictions on our state economy due to the fear based Covid-19 crisis thus there seems to be little hope of any economic turnaround here. How does shutting down the state economy actually help businesses and helps to prevent Covid-19? What is being done about the massive unemployment in the state? It seems whether we are open or closed Covid-19 seems to be increasing. So why can't we fully reopen, develop natural immunity to Covid-19 and get on with our lives? It could actually be worth exploring. However that would mean a movement back to personal and economic freedoms in Connecticut and we know that may never be possible again under the Boston Consulting Group's guidelines in conjunction with Ned Lamont.
Connecticut's Taxpayers must live daily in fear of Covid-19 and with state government's economic failures. All the direct result of poor state government and the burden of having one party rule in our state. All the direct result of having a consulting company drive the narrative of this Covid-19 crisis. All in the name of profit for the chosen few of the state. Connecticut's fear of Covid-19 along with its economic failures make for a horrific way of life for the majority. But isn't that what socialism and communism is all about? Fear, a loss of freedoms and a never ending dependency upon a false government. Maybe just maybe we do not want to live like this any more.

Connecticut’s Personal Freedom Grab

On Tuesday November 3, 2020-Why Would Anyone Vote Democrat? Why?-Part 2
I really wonder why anyone would want to vote for a Democrat candidate either on a state or national level in this upcoming election. Why? Can someone explain it to me?
Why would anyone vote for Democrat Joe Biden for President? The man is incoherent. Is this really the best candidate that the Democrat Party could run this year? He obviously has issues with his speech, memory and recognition. Is this a person who you want to lead our country during a crisis or war? Is this a person who in 47 years of being in political office has anything of substance to help our country? What was his crowning political achievement? I can not answer that since I do not know it. Or is this a person whose only concern has been to enrich his son and his family's financial positions (sort of like the way the Clinton's did)? Why does Joe Biden dislike the oil and fracking industries? Why does Joe Biden dislike the police in our country? Why does Joe Biden want to raise your taxes? Why did Joe Biden pick a person who got less than three percent in support in the Presidential primaries as his running mate: an arrogant and Socialist Kamala Harris? Since when did Joe Biden become a Socialist and learn to hate the country he wants to be President of? What did he actually do for his son Hunter for financial gain? Why does the Democrat Party dislike America so much? Again why would anyone vote for Democrat Joe Biden?
President Trump has had an incredible record as President since he was elected. Here is a PDF version of what he has done https://lc.org/PDFs/Trump.Accomplishments.FINAL.pdf for your review. You truly should read it. From our economy before the Covid-19 crisis to health care to our military. It is amazing he has done this while fighting a Democrat coup attempt to impeach him and the "swamp" enemies he has fought for the past four years in Washington. President Trump loves the United States of America. He has helped dramatically low income workers to better themselves through greater wages and more income. He has helped our military. He has appointed exceptional judges to our judicial system and Supreme Court. He has been a true friend of Israel and has done more to ensure peace in the Middle East since President Reagan. He is concerned for all Americans especially those who are our lowest income earners in our economy and those in most need. He believes in country and his love for our country should be unquestioned. Why wouldn't you vote for President Trump for four more years? I can not see why not.
I really wonder why anyone would want to vote for a
Democrat candidate either on a state or national level in this upcoming
election. Why? Can someone explain it to me? The United States is at a crossroads. Do you endorse Socialism and Communism like the Democrat Party has done during this election? Or do you value your freedom and the free way of our American life? Do you love America? I know I do and I proudly support President Trump and Vice President Pence for four more years of making America great again. You should too. Trump 2020.

Yet Another Connecticut Taxpayer Funded No Bid Covid-19 Contract: Thank You Ned Lamont!
I wonder when Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group will cancel both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year? Maybe right after the election? Or when there are more supposed "Red Zone" towns and cities? For those who may wondering what a "Red Zone" town or city is, it means here in Connecticut that there are 15 or more cases per 100,000 people of Covid-19. What I do not understand is that in many of the new founded "Red Zone" towns there are a lot less than 100,000 total population. But who is willing to question our surrogate state government of Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group, who obviously are the experts when it comes to all things Covid-19? What do Connecticut Taxpayers know compared to these "experts"? Obviously nothing except Connecticut Taxpayers have common sense which is sorely lack in Connecticut's surrogate government at this time.
What astounds me is the new Ned Lamont no bid Connecticut Taxpayer funded contract for a mere $24 million dollars to a little known California firm called AMN Healthcare. AMN Healthcare's agreement with the state is an amazing contract of which very little is known. They are to hire, train and oversee a crew of contact tracers to supplement the efforts of the local health departments in Connecticut that apparently are overwhelmed due to Covid-19. Under the contract, the state pays AMN $1,900 for each person hired, up to a total of 350 people. They also are paying AMN a mere $526,000 monthly in administration fees which would equal $1502.86 for each of the supposed 350 people hired (in a state that has 25% unemployment). The company is required to submit weekly reports to Connecticut Department of Health officials who are overseeing the state’s contact tracing program to make sure they are hitting certain metrics, including contacts successfully reached within 48 hours of diagnosis and total volume of calls. These metrics and number of calls apparently are not disclosed and are unknown at this time as there is little information that has been made public of this contract. The contract requires that all of the tracers must be Connecticut residents and that the contract tracers to earn $29.50 an hour, case investigators to earn $43.25 an hour and supervisors $57.50 an hour. I wonder why the Connecticut Department of Public Health can not handle this information and why must the state use yet another consultant to "trace" people who have Covid-19? Will this tracing eliminate Covid-19 in the state? It also shows to me how unprepared our state government is in dealing with a health crisis. I also wonder if Connecticut Taxpayers privacy will be violated with these new contact tracers? After all what business is it of the state to know if we are in contact with Covid-19 or not? What happens if we are in contact with someone that has Covid-19 and do not get it? And what is to say that our personal information will not be sold to third parties? I do not see any guarantee of that not happening all in the name of Connecticut's never ending Covid-19 crisis. A crisis that is generating tons of money for an elite politically connected few.
Why is it going to cost Connecticut Taxpayers $526,000 per month for Administrative fees? Why couldn't Connecticut hire these same people rather than paying $1900 per person for this company to hire them? In a state that has 25% unemployment at this time I would venture to believe that these 350 jobs could be filled within a few hours since the only employers in Connecticut today are either our state government or Amazon Fulfillment Centers. There is not much business left in the state to find jobs in contrary to what Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group believes.
This contract like the many other no bid contracts that have been steered by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group seem again to be of little benefit to Connecticut Taxpayers during this crisis. We just see more of the same-a horrifically bloated state government run by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and the Boston Consulting Group who truly have no clue in dealing with a public health crisis and or a horrendous economy of high taxes, high unemployment and high short and long term debt along with massive unfunded liabilities. Oh and by the way this is the record that Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party want you to re elect them on on November 3. It defies any type of logic. Why would anyone vote for a Democrat in the election? Why?

Can Connecticut Survive As An Executive Order State Any More?
Can Connecticut survive as an Executive Order state any more? I wonder. I can not see how with the economic destruction and turmoil being created because of the Covid-19 lock down and the continuing restrictions that Governor by Executive Order Ned Lamont has placed on the state. Our elected Legislative Branch has been deemed non essential by the Governor since he apparently along with the Boston Consulting Group will run the state until further notice. Or until a Lamont family Hedge Fund company develops a vaccine against Covid-19 that must be used by every citizen of the state. Our elected Legislative Branch will only be able to meet to pass more liberal gibberish and feel good legislation that takes away more personal and economic freedoms along with making us less safe with the ridiculous lessening of the power of police along with contact tracing, etc. It is a Liberal's Utopia and a Libertarian's Nightmare. All thanks to Governor by Executive Order Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party.
Can Connecticut survive 1,000,000 people out of work? 1,000,000 unemployment applications have been filed since the Governor's lock down in March. Unemployment is now around 25% with these facts being hidden from the public view since the election is coming up and the Connecticut Democrat Party is running for election and re election on this unemployment record. The Connecticut Democrat Party is also running for election and re election on these horrible economic facts-jobs are being lost daily, the state now has $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities, the state has a net migration of people moving out, the state has one of the highest tax rates in the country, the state has one of the highest property tax rates in the country, the state has one of the highest costs of electricity in the country and one the poorest business climates in the country due to the massive closings that have taken place. The list of economic problems they have created seem to be endless. And the Connecticut Democrat Party feels they are qualified to continue to be the majority party for the state. Incredible.
I think I answered once again my own question - Connecticut can not survive as an Executive Order state much longer. It can not continue to illegally suppress economic activity on a daily basis with changing Covid-19 metrics, changing facts and statistics, changing colored maps of each town and city with their .0015% Covid-19 infection rates, and the wholesale destruction of the restaurant and hospitality industries. And no there are not enough job retraining programs to help all of those out of work contrary to what the Connecticut Democrat Party believes. Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party have done a horrific job during this crisis; harming those most in need in nursing homes and destroying many businesses. Yet the politically connected continue their Connecticut Taxpayer funded profit train and those in need such as the elderly and disabled are left to fend for themselves. That is perfectly acceptable to Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and the Connecticut Democrat Party. Why? Why is the question that the Connecticut Voter no matter what party they belong to or not belong to should be asking themselves on Election Day. There needs to be a wholesale change in the way our state government works, it needs to function again. Because it really no longer functions in any form now. You can bet your germ filled mask on it.

Who Is Running Connecticut Anyways? I Want To Know
I wonder who is running Connecticut? This seems to be a question that most people can not answer easily today here in our state. We see that there is no longer a State Legislature that conducts business for the voters who elected them, power has been ceded to Ned Lamont via a legally questionable Executive Order manifesto of a severe socialistic one man rule in the name of health concerns. Our election in a few weeks will provide little if anything in getting our Legislative body back to work. We also see very little information regarding how and when our lives will become normal again with not having to wear a germ bearing mask and all activities including schools and churches being opened in a normal fashion by our Public Health Department. Will actual news be reported again in our biased media soon not just how many or how few cases of Covid-19 we have as a state? I personally believe Connecticut is being run by a constant fear that is being dished out daily by Ned Lamont, the Connecticut Democrat Party and our surrogate legislature entity know as Boston Consulting Group with their no bid state contracts hand delivered to them by Ned Lamont and company.
Connecticut has massive economic problems that continue to be avoided and not discussed in any way shape or form at all costs by Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party in our upcoming election. I get little feeling of any type of enthusiasm for this campaign by either party with the exception of several conservative Republican candidates such as State Senator Rob Sampson, candidate for State Senator Len Suzio and State Representative Craig Fishbein and a few others. The Connecticut Democrat Party candidates are silent about the draconian shut down of the states economy, the $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities the state has, excessively high taxes and a net migration out of the state (contrary to the propaganda they are spreading about people wanting to move here). A healthy economy fuels a healthy state. It seems like the only thing that matters in our state is Democrat Party political nepotism, the Lamont's Hedge Fund profits and state employee labor unions for their own self economic enrichment. The hell with Connecticut Taxpayers, their businesses, homes and jobs.
So who is really running Connecticut? I want to know. As a Taxpayer I don't buy the constant fear of all things relating to Covid-19 such as why walking one way in a store is going to prevent its spread or the snappy ad campaigns that we know see on billboards (financed with Connecticut Taxpayers monies). I also would like to know what is the master plan to get back to normal in the state? Does it exist? Are we waiting for the Boston Consulting Group plan to be issued and therefore be followed to the letter? Maybe when the next raises go into effect from a SEBAC agreement? What scraps are going to be thrown to Connecticut Taxpayers by the Connecticut Democrat Party to keep them and their businesses on life support and at bay from any criticism from their actions and non actions during this crisis? This is democracy? This is "the Constitution State" where the State Constitution is thrown out and declared null and void? Why is this happening as more people die of other health related issues and problems rather than from Covid-19? I do not understand why our freedoms have been disposed of like this with no questions being asked or allowed except by a brave few?
Once again this is the record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running on at all levels of government in November. Tell me again why you want to vote for them? Also tell me who is running Connecticut anyways? I want to know.

TRUMP 2020
I am taking a break from the corrupted State of Connecticut in this blog. Not that there is still an incredible amount to write about including Ned Lamont's continuing one man power grab, a non elective de facto government consulting group running the state, an astronomical state debt and unfunded liabilities along with massive unemployment.
Today I am turning my attention to the Presidential election and the upcoming re election of President Trump and Vice President Pence. President Trump has accomplished a great deal in his first term in his office while fighting daily his critics in the media, in Washington D.C., in both the Democrat and Republican parties and by the stale corrupted swamp that seems to define our government today. President Trump has overcome all these obstacles to lead America back to making it truly great again much to the dismay of these same groups that have tried hard to destroy him. Too bad here in Wallingford, Connecticut and other areas his campaign signs get stolen whenever they are put up.
Accomplishment after accomplishment defines this Administration. Action not rhetoric is the norm. Even with the fear driven Covid-19 virus President Trump has shown leadership qualities that to me were definitely lacking from Presidents during a crisis in the past. He is truly a non politician running our country to make things better for all contrary to the daily negativity we are force fed by both the biased media and by the failed Democrat Party. The same failed Democrat Party that wants their ruling elite to force our American population into submission to total government dependency. The same failed Democrat Party that seems to be encouraging the violent destruction of Democrat run cities in our country.
I truly wonder why the Democrat Party would chose Joe Biden as their candidate for this election. Is it because he will do the least amount of damage to the Democrat under tickets throughout the country? Is it that no one else wanted to run knowing that there will be no way they would beat the President? Is it they realize that today's Democrat Party is a mess of socialism and communism/dictators whose only concern is their power grab and profit making off the country and its Taxpayers as seen in Connecticut today.
President Trump had led one of the greatest economic expansions in our nation's history prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. And Covid-19 is not President Trump's fault. He immediately intervened in the economy with several different costly programs to try to minimize economic damage. In my opinion he saved more lives contrary to what the media wants you to believe when he shut off all travel to China. The Center for Disease Control should have responsibility with the many issues of Covid-19 we have seen along with the Democrat run states that counted anyone who died during this time frame even with a trace of Covid-19 in their system as a Covid-19 death. And do not forget about China and their misinformation force fed to us about Covid-19.
I can only imagine how much further along our economy and country would have been today if President Trump would have been allowed to promote and encourage his programs rather than fighting daily false impeachment proceedings and the ceaseless and unabated lies that the media spreads about him. It has become a bore to watch and follow. The media has lost all of its credibility with the public and this Administration. Peace agreements in the Middle East, hostages being released, more real jobs for Americans, and much more was accomplished by President Trump and Vice President Pence. We also have a First Lady Melania Trump who was completely ignored also during the past four years. Why? Why was President Trump so bad for America when he wasn't?
Mind control of our population should not exist in our country yet when one watches network news that is all it seems to be. And it is wrong. How could anyone vote for Joe Biden is beyond my comprehension as it seems to me that he is very incoherent at times and seems to be suffering from either dementia or some other mental condition. This is a man you want to handle a crisis? I think not. What has really done in his 47 plus years of being in politics other than make money for his family especially his son Hunter Biden? Does he have any accomplishments? I know of none.
Four more years of President Trump and Vice President Pence. Our country's future is at stake. The great silent majority will speak in November. They have had enough.

Why Is Capitalism Wrong In Connecticut?
Capitalism in its various definitions can be defined as an economic system where the factors of production are owned by private owners who in turn produce goods and services that are demanded by consumers in a free market system. Individuals sell their labor services to be employed for free market wages and benefits. This free market system is not controlled by the state and or federal, state or local governments in theory. This free market system through this meeting of buyers and sellers helps to create economic activity that produces consumer goods and services, income for both employees and employers along with economic and accounting profits that help drive more economic activity to the free market system. Our nation's economy is driven by businesses both small and large to make this free market system work and help to create one of the greatest and prosperous economies in our world today. The opposite of Capitalism is Socialism. Socialism has failed our world miserably for many years now. In Socialism government and or the state control all activities.
In Connecticut one has a very difficult time in understanding how our capitalistic system works. It looks and feels more like Socialism. Since the great pandemic lock down in March, 2020 when our state government and state legislature ceded control of all aspects of our economy illegally to Ned Lamont and his political friends and consulting groups, these individuals were allowed to make all decisions in our economy from where we can travel, where we can buy food, whether we can go to work or not, that we must cover our faces or face fines, etc. And there seems to be few if any new signs in the near future that Capitalism will be allowed to function normally either as Ned Lamont and his political friends and consulting groups will continue to run Connecticut with an iron fist according to the supposed threats of Covid-19 in the state. All in the name of keeping the state healthy? Or all in the name of Socialism?
I find great irony in this situation as Ned Lamont and his wife's hedge fund, his hedge fund companies such as Sema-4 and many others, his political friends and consulting groups are all profiting by the end of a free market economy and Capitalism in Connecticut and a rush to Socialism. The Lamont family in theory have all benefited by Capitalism in their various companies they have owned and operated over the years through great profits being earned. Many of these same profits one can argue has helped to finance Lamont's political campaigns and his buying of the Governorship in the last election. Thus apparently is perfectly acceptable for Ned Lamont and his political friends and consulting groups to utilize capitalism for profit but it is wrong for anyone else to utilize it today in the guise of Covid-19 prevention. Many small and medium sized businesses have shut down for good due to Lamont's draconian Executive Orders. Lamont apparently enjoys picking the winners and losers in Connecticut's new Socialism based economy especially when his family's hedge fund can profit from it. This is hard to understand especially for those individuals who have lost their life's savings and businesses who have lost their life's work due to Ned Lamont and his political friends and consulting groups who dictated to them to shut down since March.
Ned Lamont and his political friends and consulting groups have no end game to re open the state and or eliminate the daily fear they cast upon the state through their stale rhetoric about the Covid-19 virus. They seem to be enjoying destroying Connecticut's economy. My only hope is that voters in November remember that Capitalism drives our economy not Socialism and not Ned Lamont and his political friends and consulting groups. The Connecticut Democrat Party led by Ned Lamont once again proves its incompetence in understanding how our economy works, why people work, why businesses operate, why supply and demand in essential to the state. Connecticut should not be a Socialistic spoils system for Ned Lamont and his political friends and consulting groups. Enough is enough.

More Issues For Ned Lamont And Connecticut's Democrat Party
How Ned Lamont is still Governor in Connecticut amazes me. What a mess Connecticut is in. And it is his and the Connecticut Democrat Party's fault for the economic debacle that Connecticut is in-in 2020, with massive budget deficits, many businesses closing and a 22% unemployment rate. And it is the record that the Connecticut Democrat Party is running its candidates for the non functioning State House of Representatives and State Senate in November on. Thus a Democrat candidate running for either re election and or their first election can tell the voters not to worry about re opening your business, making a profit in your business (since we will tax it away), having a job (since we lost more jobs in these past six months than the past 50 years), the $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities that the state has, being able to attend school in person (since we all apparently have Covid-19), walking the right way down a supermarket aisle (since we all apparently have Covid-19) and most importantly being fined for not wearing a mask-being in a group of more than 25 people and or organizing an event with too many people than the Boston Consulting Group wants you to have. This is again the real record that this failed political party is running on. Don't worry about anything since our Dictatorship will give you a few scraps of food and some masks. Think about it. This is our state in 2020.
Connecticut has turned into a Kingdom/Dictatorship. It does not allow free movement, free speech and or free assembly. All in direct violation of the Constitution, which is the law of the land. Why hasn't anyone questioned this? What are the real metrics to supposedly re open Connecticut during this crisis? Are there metrics? No one in Connecticut especially Ruler Ned Lamont can tell us what is really going on. What a waste of our citizen resources and economic resources. And what a waste of our economy. For the real winners continue to be Lamont family invested hedge fund companies and their profits that continue to be paid by the state with Taxpayers monies. What can be better than that?
Connecticut has very severe issues that really do not seem to bother Ned Lamont and or the Connecticut Democrat Party. The stupidity with their rules and regulations should astound anyone. For example-why can't you bring a grocery carriage into a bottle return area at the grocery store? Does Covid-19 exist in 151st can and bottle that you bring back to the store since the limit is only 150 cans and bottles? Some stores only give you a ten minute limit to do your returns. Should all returnable cans and bottles be thrown away so that our bankrupt state can get the five cents instead of those consumers who pay for the return in the first place? Does Covid-19 become evident at 10 minutes and one second while you are in the bottle return area? How does plexiglass prevent Conid-19? How does walking one way in a supermarket aisle prevent Covid-19? This and much more insanity is our new norm for Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party dictating these failed solutions to the masses of the state. Do as I say or leave. Think about those issues when you vote in November. And think about the loss of freedoms also while you are voting in person this November also. Enough is enough.

Connecticut's Three Real Issues
I wonder if Connecticut's elected officials understand what the real issues of Connecticut are? There are three major ones along with a host of others.
There are many problems that Connecticut is facing today. Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party seem only to be concerned with the terrors and fear of Covid-19 and how to profit from it. Connecticut has problems and economic issues it really needs to address immediately if the state will survive in the future.
Connecticut has a massive debt problem. It has now over $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities. Connecticut's pension costs are exceptionally high in comparison to other states with a large shortfall in its funding of the pensions and how it calculates its rate of returns for it. The state continues to run a constant budget deficit year in and year out while stating it has a balanced budget through the magic of taking line items off budget and over estimating revenues and underestimating expenses. This debt must be addressed or Connecticut will go bankrupt. During the Covid-19 crisis spending dramatically increased while state services virtually came to a halt. State spending for non essential services should have been cut dramatically during this time frame. Raising taxes is no longer a solution as high taxes have forced many businesses and citizens to move out of the state.
Connecticut still has a massive drug and opioid crisis. There are still many drug overdoses and deaths in the state that have been basically covered up during the Covid-19 crisis. The statistics for drug related deaths in Connecticut are staggering in my opinion but seem to be kept secret from the public not to destroy the constant Covid-19 fear narrative. It is a problem that in my opinion has escalated due to the Covid-19 Lamont state lock down that has further increased mental depression and illness during this time frame. A simplistic state 800 number to call to get help is not the solution. Connecticut should not be forced to live in fear on a daily basis of Covid-19, a return to a normal way of life and a legal shut down to illegal drugs coming into the state through effective law enforcement would be a great help in eliminating this problem. The real statistics of Covid-19 are small in reality to our drug problem but will never be shown as such to the public. Too much money is being made off the fear of Covid-19 at this time to stop that.
Connecticut also suffers from years upon years of inept one party rule by the Connecticut Democrat Party to the point of almost no return. There are no checks and balances any more to our state government. With Ned Lamont's unchecked Executive Order rule since March there is no longer a representative body seeking out the interests of those people they were duly elected to serve. Connecticut's state government has turned into a power hungry profit money grab for those who are politically connected and in the know. Unchecked and no bid contracts and spending are the illegal rule that we as Taxpayers must pay taxes to support. This is no longer a democracy nor an elected form of government. Nor is this legal according to the state constitution. But yet it continues.
Please ask when and if any Democrat candidate comes to your door and or calls you for your vote for them in November what are their thoughts and solutions to these three real issues of Connecticut. Their silence and ignorance of these issues may really astound you. And hopefully these same Democrat candidates will lose badly in November's election due to their party's ultimate failure in governing by decree and fear for 30 plus years now. Enough is enough.

9/11/2001
9/11/.2001. A day that should never be forgotten in our history. A day in which many innocent people were murdered in cold blood by terrorists who invaded our country. A day that we as a nation came together united against terrorists and terrorism. A day which began several wars to try to eliminate terrorism.
9/11/.2001. A day that should never be forgotten in our history. It can never be rewritten nor can we go back and change one thing from that horrific day. It is part of our history and always will be.
9/11/.2001. A day that should never be forgotten in our history. Let us pray for those who lost their lives that day and never, never forget the sacrifice they made for our country. And most importantly never let us forget that Freedom is never free and will never be free. Let us reflect today and every day on those brave Americans who gave everything they had on that day to our country.
God Bless America today and every day.

Connecticut's Desolation-Destruction-Despondency-Depression-Despair-Discouragement-Dejection
Desolation. Destruction. Despondency. Depression. Despair. Discouragement. Dejection.
Do any of these words remind you of the new Ned Lamont Connecticut Democrat Party ruled Connecticut economy? An economy ruled by a de facto consultant Board of non elected unknowns whose only concern seems to be the profit that can be derived by a select few politically connected companies and individuals in the state. A state that apparently will never open again until every man, woman and child is tested for Covid-19 and then vaccinated for it (whether or not the vaccine works or not and or is deadly to many) all driven by a company that has been Lamont based invested in. All in the name of supposed safety and health.
Desolation. Destruction. Despondency. Depression. Despair. Discouragement. Dejection.
Do any of these words remind you of the new Ned Lamont Connecticut Democrat Party ruled Connecticut economy? An economy where thousands of businesses have shut down permanently and or are on the verge of bankruptcy. An economy that has a staggering unemployment rate of 22% and rising with few if any new jobs on the horizon due to the near collapse of the restaurant and travel industries.
Desolation. Destruction. Despondency. Depression. Despair. Discouragement. Dejection.
Do any of these words remind you of the new Ned Lamont Connecticut Democrat Party ruled Connecticut economy? An economy that ranks near bottom in most economic development and business friendly categories. What business in their right mind would want to relocate to Connecticut given its horrific conditions? $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities is now the norm and acceptable to our state officials?
Desolation. Destruction. Despondency. Depression. Despair. Discouragement. Dejection.
Do any of these words remind you of the new Ned Lamont Connecticut Democrat Party ruled Connecticut economy? An economy where debate and questioning what the Governor does seems to be no longer allowed and a martial law atmosphere prevails that is based on fear. Does every man, woman and child in Connecticut have Covid-19? They don't but it sure seems like it to me. If one case is reported why is that the lead story in our biased media?
Fear rules our state. Never an encouraging word spoken by our supposed Governor. Nor any type of coherent plan spoken and or debated to re open Connecticut completely as soon as possible. No metrics and or the supposed metrics change to suit the Governor's needs and or wants. Nothing at all. Why has this happened? And when will the opposition begin? When?
This should be the only campaign issue in Connecticut in November-but will our Governor allow the election to occur? I really wonder.

Connecticut Continues Ned Lamont's Secret Government
Connecticut's government has been confirmed again to be on a secret fear based status until some later date that is unknown to anyone. On Friday, September 4th across pure party lines by a 6 to 4 vote, the special legislative oversight committee voted to extend until February 2021 Ned Lamont’s emergency powers to manage the supposed COVID-19 problem in the state. Thus the Connecticut Democrat Party has given a carte blanche to the secret and omnipotent Executive Order de facto government of Ned Lamont and his hedge fund, consulting and political cronies to combat the Covid-19 virus that for all intents and purposes is impacting less than 1/10000 of 1 percent of Connecticut's population at this time and has become a non-issue.
I and many others never realized that when Ned Lamont was elected Governor he was such an expert in the medical field so that when a medical crisis would hit our state he would be able to eliminate the need to have an elected group of representatives in a State legislature so that he could make all the decisions in the state himself. I and many others never realized that through his network of business friends from his wife's hedge fund and the Connecticut Democrat Party that he would be able to buy anything he felt the state needed to supposedly combat Covid-19 with little regard for costs, competitive bidding and ethics. I and many others never realized that every person in Connecticut is assumed to have Covid-19 and thus we must limit everything we do and have done over the past six months of this crisis. I and many others never realized that through the power of either a paper mask or cloth mask that has germs on it that we now would have to wear these masks every where and at all times to supposedly stop the spread of Covid-19 that we in theory all have in our state. I and many others never realized that there really is no reopening plan whatsoever to get Connecticut moving again and to get unemployed people working again. I and many others never realized that one man and one political party could create an economic depression in Connecticut in such a short period of time. I and many others never realized that there would not be a State Constitution to follow as a rule of law in Connecticut. I and many others never realized that we have lost most of our personal and economic freedoms due to one man and one political party.
What is really the end game to Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party's plan to destroy our state economically due to the Covid-19 virus? Even more short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities of $150 billion dollars or more in the future? New and higher taxes with tolls? More political patronage jobs for the ruling political elite? More no bid consulting and state contracts for Lamont invested hedge fund companies? More corrupted government that is in business for only a select few? Mandatory vaccines to work or go to school? Are we really saving lives? What happened to many older people who died in nursing homes at the beginning of the crisis-are they forgotten about now? I would like some answers to these questions as a Connecticut citizen and taxpayer.
Connecticut needs an economic plan for recovery. What is it? Does any elected official know it including those who are running for re election? Connecticut needs to open up all schools, businesses and industries once again as soon as possible. Connecticut no longer should be governed by fear. The fear that is being force fed by Connecticut's media, Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party on a daily basis. I would venture to say that more people are dying daily in the state from drug overdoses and suicides than from Covid-19. But our only concern is seems to be is Covid-19 not anything else.
Connecticut needs real leadership. As much we hear the all of the great things Ned Lamont has done during this crisis to keep people supposedly healthy-what has he really done? I do not know other than he does what will give him the greatest economic profit from that activity. Is that what Connecticut's government has succumbed to? I guess so. For my voice and many others continue to be silenced by these unchecked and illegal powers given to our ruler Governor Ned Lamont. Maybe this is 1776 happening once again. I really wonder. Enough is enough.

Connecticut's Ned Lamont Executive Order State Government
Connecticut is no longer a democracy. With Ned Lamont extending his emergency powers that were to expire on September 9th until February 2021, he has declared himself the Supreme Ruler of the state. Connecticut's legislative leaders will have 72 hours to nullify his actions. We know since Connecticut is a one party state that this will not happen. It apparently no longer has elected representatives who meet in a state legislature that is elected every two years. They can only meet as they did this past summer for a few hours to declare their hatred of our local police and several other failed liberal objectives such as mail in voting. There is now a de facto government that consists only of Governor Ned Lamont and his behind the scenes non public decision making consulting group along with a few hand chosen politically connected individuals. These politically connected individuals will be able to provide Ned Lamont and his wife's hedge fund profit in the future and will be able to deliver votes and cash to the Connecticut Democrat Party at election time. Thus we no longer have a freely elected State Legislative body representing the legal citizens and taxpayers of Connecticut any more. I will assume that in February 2021 Lamont will extend it once again. All at the expense of the remaining Connecticut Taxpayers that are brave enough to try to survive in our Connecticut Democrat Party led cesspool and sewer of an economy.
Connecticut's economy will further erode and unemployment will continue to increase with this extension of Lamont's power. Connecticut's 22% unemployment rate will only increase, more businesses especially restaurants will shut down for good, there will be more medical depression cases and suicides. All because of Covid-19. I wonder does the entire population of Connecticut have it? Can we only trust Covid-19 tests that came from a Lamont hedge fund funded company and no other? Is the only way Connecticut can resume activity is when a Lamont hedge fund funded company has developed a vaccine which will then be mandated by Lamont for every citizen to get whether or not they want it or not so they will be able to live, work and go to school in the state? How many of our state population really died of Covid-19? Are any figures accurate in any way? I wonder also how many people committed suicide and or died of drug overdoses during this same time period? This information will never be published as it would make our de facto government look inept which it is.
Ned Lamont's Executive Powers and Orders should have ceased on September 9, 2020. There is no need to continue this baseless shutdown of the state's economy when there are so few cases and deaths. It is illegal also in my opinion. It is time for Connecticut and our country to start full economic activity once again. It is also time to address why so many Connecticut citizens died in its nursing homes during the height of the virus.
Connecticut's legal citizens and taxpayers have lost their voice in government and lost their democracy. Our legal State Constitution has been discarded and disposed of. Connecticut is owned by Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party. Do not forget that. They rule for themselves, for their own profits and with an iron fist. Enough is enough.

Connecticut Ranked In The Bottom Five Once Again
The August 31, 2020 issue of Barron's had an article titled "The $1 Trillion Dollar Hole" (https://www.barrons.com/articles/cities-and-states-are-facing-horrific-budget-holes-there-will-be-more-trouble-ahead-51598638702). The article discusses a growing issue in our country of our fifty states ability to use and get credit due to large budget deficits and loss revenues. Creditworthiness as defined by Investopedia (www.investopedia.com) is "Creditworthiness is how a lender determines that you will default on your debt obligations, or how worthy you are to receive new credit." The article is very interesting when one reads how all the state's rank. Connecticut is ranked 45th out of 50 states (Bottom five) having the distinction of the highest overall debt burden on a per capita and per GDP (Gross Domestic Product) basis. This ranking should not come as a shock to Connecticut Taxpayers as we see how economically inept and irrational our state government operates day in and day out. The Connecticut Democrat Party's political patronage, profits and partisanship are the economic rule with the heck with any concerns about debt.
As one can imagine and an area I have talked about in the past is how far in debt Connecticut is in 2020. Connecticut has $145 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities. To look at this debt in perspective it would take seven years of no state spending on anything whatsoever to pay it off. This means that the state would have no more employees, no programs, nothing at all for seven years to pay it off. If Connecticut actually had a plan to address this debt we would have seen major cuts in state spending and or a dedicated fixed amount to retire debt and not incur any new debt. This has never happened for Connecticut in the past 30 years since the State Income Tax has taken effect. Instead state spending and debt has skyrocketed into unmanageable and uncontrollable economic turmoil for both state businesses and taxpayers. Connecticut has turned into a sinkhole state without enough assets to pay off its debts meaning that if Connecticut liquidated all of its assets that have value it still could not pay off its debt. Thus it would have to somehow go bankrupt to pay off its bills. This has to be done on a business or personal level when bankruptcy occurs. Currently roughly 15% of the state budget just goes to debt service (interest) never mind trying to actually paying off any debt. The bulk of the state budget goes to salaries, benefits, pensions and interest on the debt. Little if any money is left to actually run Connecticut in any coherent economic form.
Can Connecticut survive the future with these economic issues now compounded by a rogue consulting group being the policy maker in the state rather than the State elected Legislature and a massive 22% unemployment rate? Why should any incumbent State Senator or State Representative running for re election in November be elected again given these enormous short and long term economic problems (with the exception of a brave few conservative Republicans such as State Senator Rob Sampson)? In my economic opinion Connecticut is on the verge of bankruptcy and that should be the record the Connecticut Democrat Party runs on in November. They have helped to bankrupt the state for their personal gain. Why? Why is this not questioned daily except by the few who dare to speak out against this economic debacle? Real statistics do not lie. Connecticut needs real elected leadership rather than a de facto government ruled by a consulting group and irrational executive orders. And it needs a plan to cut spending, debt and economically unsustainable pensions. Being ranked 45th out of 50 states for creditworthiness is sickening to me and many others. Enough is enough.

Ned Lamont Executive Order 7III and The United States Constitution
I wonder if Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Democrat Party have ever read the United States Constitution? It is an interesting document that might be worth their reading in between their profiteering from the Covid-19 virus here in our state. For example: Article 1 Section 8 does not seem to have been read with Ned Lamont's Executive Order #7III in particular this section: "NOW, THEREFORE, I, NED LAMONT,Governor of the State of Connecticut, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the State of Connecticut, do hereby ORDER AND DIRECT:1.Repeal of Advisory Self-Quarantine.Executive Order No. 7BBB, Section 1 is repealed.2.Mandatory Self-Quarantine for Travelers from States with High COVID-19 Levels.Effective at 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, Section 19a-131a of the Connecticut General Statutes is hereby modified to add a new subsection as follows:(g) (1) For purposes of this subsection, an “Affected State” means a state with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents, or higher than a 10% test positivity rate over a seven-day rolling average; and an “Affected Traveler” means a person who has spent twenty-four hours or longer in an Affected State within fourteen days prior to arriving in Connecticut, but does not include an individual remaining in Connecticut for less than twenty-four hours. (2) All Affected Travelers shall self-quarantine for a period of fourteen days from the time of last contact with such Affected State, for any portion of such fourteen day period they spend in Connecticut, or for the duration of such Affected Travelers’ stay in Connecticut, whichever is shorter."
Article 1 Section 8 from the United States Constitution: "The Congress shall have the power to regulate commerce with foreign Nations and among the several States and with the the Indian tribes." In stating this in real terms, if states interfere with business travelers it is a direct violation of the United States Constitution. I and many others also feel that the United States Constitution supersedes Ned Lamont's Executive Orders. Also where in our State Constitution does it give the right to the Department of Public Health being able to fine travelers $1000 if they do not report their location to the state? Why are their travel forms and who actually reads them? How is this legal? How does this stop Covid-19 when we have few if any cases in the state now? Why would anyone want to either travel to do business in our state and or visit family or friends on a vacation in the state? Does this action and Executive Order further compound the economic crisis that is happening in Connecticut today? One may assume so.
My good friend Tony DeAngelo discussed this issue along with identity theft on his latest episode with Lee Elci this past Tuesday (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1_iGx1XyAg&feature=youtu.be). Please listen as it vital to understanding the many issues that Connecticut has since March, 2020.
In
theory September 9th is the last day of Ned Lamont's economically
irrational Executive Orders that have done little than to destroy
Connecticut's economy. There is no need to renew this Executive Order action. It is time for our non-functional General Assembly to meet again and become part of our government again. There is also no need to live in constant fear of Covid-19 as there are few if any cases of it in the state. There is no need either for an illegal travel ban to be enforced illegally either by the Department of Public Health. It is time to make our state economy function again for everyone not just Ned Lamont, the Boston Consulting Group and State employees who received their raises on July 1, 2020. It is time to make Connecticut a "Free" state again not a "Socialistic" state led by the feeble Connecticut Democrat Party. Enough is enough.

Weston Ulbrich For State Representative 85th District
The 85th State District in Connecticut represents a large portion of Wallingford. Wallingford is a well run community that is led by a Republican Mayor and a Republican led Town Council. Sadly the 85th District is represented by a tax and spend liberal Democrat who was first elected in 1980. Democrat Mary Mushinsky has been in office for 40 years now. She voted for the state income tax and every increase in state taxes in the state since that time. She has been a proponent of every liberal piece of legislation that has been brought forth in Hartford since that time including the poorly written Police Accountability bill. She has overseen the destruction of Connecticut's economy over the past 40 years and yet still manages to somehow get reelected term after term. I wonder why? Wallingford is a fiscally conservative community-why do we want a tax and spend liberal to represent us? I know she does not represent my family here with these economically and socially irrational views.
Weston Ulbrich is the Republican candidate who is running against her this election. I recently talked with him on several issues and was impressed with his knowledge of issues and his passion for Wallingford. He stated from his website: "The past four decades of one-party rule at the State Assembly has weakened Connecticut’s economy. Residents have witnessed rising costs and high tax rates for far too long. Short-sighted decisions and big government policies made by career politicians have forced business and the next generation of talent to relocate. Connecticut’s reputation as a tough place to do business is getting worse, not better. Unemployment caused by COVID-19 will exacerbate our existing fiscal woes. I am determined to help reverse these negative trends by creating a more affordable Connecticut, especially for working families and small businesses." I have wondered if Representative Mushinsky really understands that Connecticut has been in a perpetual economic decline since her state income tax was passed in 1991? Connecticut in the past 30 years has been first in the country to enter a recession and one of the last states to come out of it. Connecticut continues to rank in the top five highest taxes states in the country. Connecticut has a massive unemployment rate and has had excessive unemployment since the 1990's. Connecticut has a poor business climate. Connecticut continues to see its young people move out of state.
He further stated: "If elected, I will be accountable and take responsibility during a crisis like the pandemic we face today. In times of adversity, I will seek solutions, develop trust and build stronger relationships. I promise to listen to the “People” of Wallingford and to decide our future together, rather than leaving hard choices up to the same select group of politicians. Connecticut needs a new generation of legislators who represents action and resolve. If you want a balanced candidate and a more affordable Connecticut, then please consider me for State Representative and elect Ulbrich for Wallingford."
You can find information on him on his website (https://www.ulbrich2020.com/weston). If you live in Wallingford's 85th District I urge you to replace Democrat Mary Mushinsky and her failed policies and elect Republican Weston Ulbrich instead. We have had too many years of failed Democrat policies that have brought Connecticut to the brink of economic ruin. Enough is enough.
