Truth, Fiction, and The Democrat Media-Industrial Complex

Even through the darkest moments since the brutal assassination of “Turning Point, USA” founder Charlie Kirk, the Good People of Connecticut should thank God every single day that the state-run Media Mob of the state of Connecticut is not the sole source of news. For in this Bermuda Triangle of Misinformation,  down is up, lies are truth, and we are to all worship at the feet of the one party-driven Democrat Connecticut.

This past week, three issues further cement Connecticut as a state unconcerned with its legal Taxpaying citizens and its massive debt issues, or in dealing with the truth in any way whatsoever.
Let us first look at an incredible "agreement" that Governor Ned Lamont made with Connecticut Chief Justice Raheem L. Mullins. Ever since we were grade-school children, we have been taught that the United States  system of jurisprudence is a crowning jewel of a free society where citizens of a free country can have their grievances heard in an impartial and fair manner. But all that changes in the warped wonderworld of Connecticut. We are now told that the court system is to be supported of everyone, including (but not limited to) those who reside illegally within Connecticut borders.

Connecticut policy now dictates that we now must somehow understand that courthouses "remain safe and accessible to everyone, regardless of immigration status."  Thus, Lamont and Mullins have now decided to create their own "rules" that intend to supersede federal law by "prohibiting federal immigration agents from conducting warrantless arrests in state courthouses and from wearing masks while inside them."  Lamont further stated; "There have been not a lot of incidents, but there have been some instances, of ICE going into our courthouses, wearing masks, taking people out," Lamont told reporters in Hartford. "[It's] very important that people, immigrants, and even undocumented immigrants, feel safe going into our courthouses. In many cases, they're going into our courthouse as a witness to a crime, doing everything for public safety; more broadly, maybe they've been a victim of abuse. Maybe it's something regarding landlord, whatever it is, people should feel safe going into the courthouse." (https://patch.com/connecticut/across-ct/connecticut-bans-warrantless-ice-arrests-masked-agents-state-courthouses)
Therefore, to illegally slow down and/or attempt to eliminate the arrests of illegal immigrants who are in Connecticut, the woe-begotten policy  "requires federal agents such as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to obtain a judicial warrant before making an arrest inside a courthouse. It also bars law enforcement from wearing masks while conducting enforcement actions there, unless medically necessary." (Ibid). But of course, this is hypocritically ironic. For now, we are supposed to forget that Ned Lamont and his Democrat Party slammed anyone and everyone if they did not wear their masks for the past five years in their Covid-19 shakedown of the state. Therefore, anyone who lost their job and or business or had their lives ruined during the hostile and draconian Covid-19 shutdowns should be suing the state in these same "safe" and "mask free" courthouses to get their jobs and businesses back.

The reality is that you are to expect no fairness, clarity, or integrity from anyone in the Democrat-driven Connecticut government, and you are to understand that policies and procedures will be driven entirely by their whims and desires at a given moment.
Secondly, we really do have Federal Immigration Laws! It is not a myth. The Connecticut state-run Media Mob will lead you to believe that such laws do not exist, or that whatever convoluted and illegal laws (such as the “Trust Act” ) take precedence over Federal law. Or conversely, state legislators from both parties will tell us that their pal State Rep. Corey Paris did not break Federal Immigration Law when he put illegal aliens on “alert” when Federal ICE agents came into his district to arrest them. Unfortunately, 8 U.S.C. § 1324 unambiguously reads to the contrary. However to show he cannot be beat in this category, Lamont overtly conspired this week with state school superintendents (all supported by your tax dollars) to shield illegal students from ICE (https://www.wtnh.com/news/connecticut/hartford/lamont-superintendents-to-meet-on-protecting-students-from-immigration-enforcement/ ) (My friend and colleague Tony De Angelo did a wonderful job of explaining this situation in factual terms on his September 18 THIRTY WITH TONY Show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUoewcLhNkc&ab_channel=THIRTYWITHTONY )  . By definition of Federal law every single one of Lamont and the superintendents should be arrested. How that comes down remains to be seen. However, it is quite clear that the political system and the state-run Media Mob of Connecticut will never follow established law if it is inconvenient to their purposes, regardless of if such purposes are legal or ethical.

In addition, Connecticut, which is proud to call itself a “sanctuary state” (while often denying that assertion in its own print  publications),  never discloses how much it costs legal Connecticut Taxpayers to house, give medical benefits, schooling, and other assorted benefits to these illegal immigrants, some who are also criminals in the state.  Why is that? (Shame on you for even asking the question).

But in the Media-Industrial Complex of Connecticut, distortion and obfuscation know no bounds. Once again, we see another embellishment piece published by the CT Mirror regarding darling Finance expert and current Comptroller Democrat Sean Scanlon

(https://ctmirror.org/2025/09/17/ct-slashes-more-debt-state-worker-health-care/) Scanlon, who never ever fails to postpone a debt payment that he does not like, is once again exhibiting the financial acumen of teenagers by delaying due debts on state obligations, thereby accruing incalculable interest on innocent taxpayers, some not yet born. This is the same Scanlon, being the same person who "won" over Avelo Airlines to have them fly out of Tweed New Haven Airport. This is the same Scanlon who never speaks about the gargantuan long term unfunded liabilities in the state nor is he pressed by any political figures with respect to the same. But of course, Scanlon keeps smiling and of course media accountability is nonexistent. My readers are well-aware of the short- and long-term debt along with the unfunded liabilities of Connecticut. This figure, hovers more than $100,000,000,000 to $150,000,000,000 billion dollars well in excess of the treasured "fiscal guardrails". In practice, it is literally impossible to ascertain as to how much it really is. A recent report by the Connecticut Office of Fiscal Analysis should alarm all legal Connecticut Taxpayers. The report states that for 2024 that there is a shortfall of over $956 million dollars in the state's retirement health trust fund for healthcare eligible state employees. The fund is funded at 16.2% which is apparently a political victory for the Democrats since it was only 10.1% for 2021. I find the costs staggering for the 85,696 retired members, spouses and beneficiaries currently receiving these benefits, considering the overall unfunded retiree health care benefits is over $17 billion dollars. (https://www.cga.ct.gov/ofa/Documents/year/SMF/2026SMF-20250831_Other%20Post%20Employment%20Benefits%20(August%202025).pdf).  But of course, all these concepts are lost to Mr. Scanlon as he smiles for the cameras and faces no hard questions whatsoever as to what is really taking place.

The wretched state of the fisc in Connecticut does not stop there, as bad as that is. The shortfall for the unfunded part of the state pension system (non-health care)  is over $38 billion dollars and is also severely unfunded. The state in just retiree pension and health care costs is in debt for $55 billion dollars. (https://www.truthinaccounting.org/library/doclib/Financial-State-of-the-States-2024.pdf)  This is fiscal leadership by Ned Lamont and his Democrat Party? We are supposed to feel good about this. And what will the SEBAC state employee contract cost Connecticut Taxpayers and how much higher will the state debt become?

But alas, what does truth matter? The distortion of law and finances are evident in Connecticut and are the results of poor social and fiscal policies enacted by the chronic one-party Democrat rule for many years. The Democrat-driven political system and its attendant Media Mob never offer any solutions but in lieu of that, continually produce made up economic and governance fantasies in a state that continues to spiral out-of-control in so many areas especially with crime and state finances. But reality, incompetence, malfeasance, and obfuscation cannot exist in the same universe. Crime, high taxes, and a lack of transparency are the real Democrat political messages and problems that continue to ignore daily.

Since the Democrat Media Industrial Complex will not protect you, my very strong admonition is to continually hold these malfeasant souls to a continual reality-based litmus test. Refuse the lies and continually expose falsehoods and demand accountability. It is the only way.

The Shot That Killed Fear and Political Oppresion

On September 11, 2001, the nation of the United States of America watched in horror as over 3,000 people died in cold blood by attacks made by America-hating terrorists. I vividly remember that day as the enormity of the chaos ensued. I personally never will forget that day and as to what transpired afterwards.

On September 10, 2025, one-half of the nation of the United States of America recoiled in horror as a young leader of a Conservative action movement was gunned down in cold blood in Utah. I qualify this horrific event as only involving one-half of the nation as the other one half of those residing in America cheered, sneered, danced, and laughed at the killing of this young man solely because their worldview did not comport with his. A large part of this same subset also was in the process of cheering on the specter of impending Socialism and Communism in New York City, NY, literally embracing the very forces that tried desperately to destroy New York City a quarter century ago.

By way of the historical timeline, we continued to fight enemies within our country and throughout the world after the 2001 attacks  that wished to lead us to bondage and take away our freedoms, our free way of living and our religious beliefs. For a brief period of time after this day, many people came together praying in public and showing support for America. It was almost impossible to find a hand-held flag, let alone one you could fly from a pole at your home. As there were limitations and resulting concerns for personal freedoms over the next seven years,  the ways of America were to change forever with the election of Barack Obama and Joe Biden in 2008. The eight years of that failed administration saw great losses throughout our world and in our country with respect to the dilutions of personal freedoms, economic freedoms, and the ushering in of a new socialist health care system whose cost have led many to personal bankruptcies due to excessively high medical care costs. As things devolved further, Americans were given a slight reprieve with the election of "outsider" Donald Trump and Mike Pence that took the country and its stoic good old boys political system by storm. President Trump's first years and subsequent four years after he was out of office was pockmarked by political payback and lies spewed by the Democrat Party, later followed in a suspect election victory by the new Biden-Harris dysfunctional and incompetent administration of horrors. However, ever since the Butler, PA attempted assassination of President Donald Trump in 2024, a belief in America has once again dawned on the landscape creating a hope and a possibility vision not seen in years. It is a belief that America-hating people are deathly afraid of, and doing their best to extinguish at all costs.

But let us go back 24 years ago and try to understand what history has taught us. If we look at what is presently taking place, it seems to many that the history of that wretched day has been long forgotten by the injection of Socialism, liberalism and its wretched, failed leaders and policies. A quarter of a century ago, we were under attack by dastardly enemies of our country. Terrorism and its threats were real. Now 24 years later, we are supposed to accept that the terroristic and destructive elements of Communism, Socialism, open borders, and unchecked violence by paid protesters and freedom for our most violent criminals and illegal aliens are the norm. Why must we accept that? And why must we accept a daily condemnation of all things which at one time were "normal" to us and our society and be made to feel ashamed for wanting them?

On September 10, 2025, a young man who feared no one and who dared to speak the truth was assassinated in cold blood in the presence of his spouse and infant children. Charlie Kirk, head of “Turning Point, USA,” was shot to death while talking to a college crowd. His death due to an act of unwarranted political violence, received the usual blathering of “violence has no place in the political discourse” from Democrat Connecticut political figures while many mentally ill and violent persons simultaneously cheer at the taking of this dear young life, curiously without denouncement from these same political figures. (This sordid subject was well-covered by my friend and colleague Tony De Angelo on his THIRTY WITH TONY A TABLE BEFORE MY ENEMIES THRTY WITH TONY 9 11 2025 ) But moreover, why have we have succumbed to this type of violence in our political arena?  Could it be the incessant hateful rhetoric of hatred that is force fed to us daily by Democrats such as United States Senator Chris Murphy and United States Representative Chuck Schumer? Could it be the arrogance and disdain exhibited to normal modest citizens exhibited daily by Governor Ned Lamont or the shameful hatred of taxpaying citizens in Connecticut shown by the likes of State Senators Bob Duff and Matt Lesser and Attorney General William Tong? Could it be a result that the elements of Communism, Socialism, unchecked violence by paid protesters, and open borders, all of which are supported by the Democrat Party, have allowed for this type of violence to be encouraged and accepted by the political left?

But unfortunately for these twisted individuals, Charlie Kirk's death will help to create thousands of new Charlie Kirk's. The new thousands will be young Christians and Conservatives who are not afraid of freedom, commitment,  relationships with God, death and dying, nor expressing Conservative points of view in the political arena. These people will not be afraid of stating when something is wrong and harmful to our society. They will not be afraid of speaking out on their religious beliefs. Nor will they be afraid to call out and disrupt the operation of the political cancers that are trying to steal our freedoms and way of life away from us.

Communism, Socialism, unchecked violence by paid protesters, atheism and the fringes of a derelict Democrat Party society and economy have all failed America in 2025. The fight for freedom began anew on 9/11/2001. On 9/10/2025, the Turning Point was reached and is now being embraced by millions of true Americans who desire freedoms in all forms, religious, family and economically.Their voices will be heard, loudly and clearly from this day forward.

For  like the character Howard Beale in the great 1976 movie “Network”, they are Mad as Hell, and they are not going to take it anymore.

The State of Connecticut Has A Much Bigger Problem Than Crime And Incompetency

The State of Connecticut Has A Crime Problem: Auto thefts surged by 33% in 2023 alone, jumping from 7,091 reported incidents in 2022 to a staggering 9,400, marking the third-highest percentage increase nationwide and leaving countless residents vulnerable to brazen juvenile offenders who often face minimal consequences. Persistent strings of car break-ins and thefts in 2025 continue to terrorize communities from Montville to Fairfield, underscoring a systemic failure to curb property crimes that erode public trust and safety. Almost every Connecticut city is a horrific and mismanaged hellhole.

However, the gist of this article is not crime.

The State of Connecticut Has A Competency Problem: Unhinged Liberal Incompetent Scraggly Bearded United States Senator Chris Murphy makes a fool of himself moment by moment on “X” with his repetitive nonsensical babbling reflecting his entire lack of conceptual understanding of any issue but also reflecting a crystal-clear hatred of President Donald J. Trump. Congressional Representative Rosa DeLauro, one of the oldest in Congress at age 82, is embarrassing in appearance and a babbling shame, shunning any suggestions of improvement or developmental vision for her pitiful Congressional district. Senior United States Combat Veteran Senator Richard Blumenthal lied about serving in Vietnam and lied about “not knowing” that he was addressing a Communist convention in 2021. Attorney General William Tong in his furious defense of illegal alien rights, called for a boycott of “Avelo Airlines” in New Haven, either not knowing (or caring) that the fiscally incompetent state Comptroller Sean Scanlon engineered the Avelo arrangement for the inadequate Tweed New Haven Airport campus, residential safety and noise pollution be damned. And not to be undone, Governor Ned Lamont (affectionately known as “King Ned, The Unaccountable”)  continues to move from fraud to scam, the latest being to corrupt the entire state with a new generation of incipient slum housing that helps along one of his wife’s investments, while he is trying to convince his wealthy neighbors in Greenwich that he has everyone’s best interests at heart.

However, the gist of this article is not political incompetency.

Connecticut has many more problems too numerous to mention. But I submit unto you that Connecticut, (aka the State That Cannot Do One Thing Right) has a far greater problem than either of the above problems. It is horrible. It is insidious. It is crippling. It can send the state into bankruptcy and erode private capital and destroy any viability in the state whatsoever.

It is the Debt Problem.

Regardless of what the state-run media and the political system tell you, The State of Connecticut has a debt problem.  There is now an awareness and understanding of the debt and how much debt Connecticut is obligated to pay. Using real numbers, let us examine how much in debt Connecticut is in, and why this should be the number one issue in the upcoming state election in 2026.

To my knowledge, I am the only writer or reporter that has mentioned Connecticut has $100,000,000,000 to $150,000,000,000 (billion) dollars in short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities. Certainly, no candidate or office holder has ever mentioned anything along the line. For a state as small as Connecticut and as small of a population that it has, this is a massive fiscal red flag. But it is not, as the Connecticut Democrat Party just cannot seem to tax and spend enough to satisfy its political special interest groups such as the state employee unions, myriad and unaccountable nonprofits, and politically connected state patronage jobs over the past four decades.

Here are some real fiscal facts that the entire political establishment avoids talking about as published in "The Financial State of the States 2024" report published by Truth in Accounting (https://www.truthinaccounting.org/library/doclib/Financial-State-of-the-States-2024.pdf). Connecticut in this report was given a "F" grade, ranking the state fifty out of 50 (or last) as far as its financial state of affairs. From the report found on pages 50 and 51, "Connecticut had $21 billion available to pay $85.9 billion worth of bills". This figure will increase in 2025 as some federal funding will no longer be available to the state.

Trying to break down the $85.9 billion dollars’ worth of bills in complex and difficult to ascertain. Connecticut in each year's budget, which increases each year, also increases its bonding and borrowing within. Bonds are issued in the state for many reasons including building projects and other related items in the state. Bonds are issued to finance "debt" in the state. Total bonds in the state for 2024 were $34,355,859,000 according to the report. Also according to the report, Unfunded Pension Benefits were $38,010,340,000 and Unfunded Retiree Health Care Benefits were $17,091,549,000. In simple terms, this means every Connecticut citizen down to the smallest infant minimally shoulders a $25,000 debt of the state for which they did not cause. These figures are astronomical for a state as small as Connecticut and unsustainable in any way. Moreover, this massive obligation is more than the supposed "fiscal guardrails" that continue to be ignored by Connecticut's Political Fiscal Barons for what little value they provide. But more clear-headed people are seeing this horrific situation for what it is. My good friend and colleague Tony De Angelo also discussed Connecticut's per person state debt is his segment on Tuesday 9/2 on the 94.9 Lee Elci show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rJCaC5DusE)

The state therefore has a massive debt problem. It also does not have enough assets to cover all its debt. The Connecticut Democrat Party laughs about (or fails to comprehend) the debt issue by its usual incoherent economic gibberish. This incoherent economic gibberish includes the usual babblings that the wealthy do not pay enough in taxes, businesses do not pay enough in taxes, there are not enough social programs to help people, more funding is needed in education and that state workers deserve much higher wages and benefits. Economic reality does not exist in the state as Connecticut continues to be a bottom five state in many economic categories. This fact is glossed over by the new, younger incoherent leftist and socialist Democrat candidates that have announced their intentions to run Governor, United States House seats and state legislature seats. Where the money will come from to pay for all their "giveaways" remains a mystery to most educated voters, but not to them as they simply do not understand, let alone care.

It is a simplistic question that truly needs to be addressed by anyone running for Governor, on any ticket in 2026. Republicans that have continually failed to challenge Democrats on many  issues must first learn to understand this most critical debt issue and secondly challenge Democrats and Socialists continually. What is your plan for paying off the massive debt and unfunded liabilities of Connecticut's government in both the short and long run? What does the plan entail? How long will it take? What will you do to decrease state spending? What will you do to whittle the bulbous and often inept state workforce? These questions should be asked daily until there are specific answers to the same. But I am not confident that will ever happen, as courage is in short supply in Connecticut government.

You see, Connecticut's state government is like a drug addict. To feed the drug monkey an addict often lies and steals. It keeps taking drugs at all costs, looking for its next fix. That fix is your tax money wasted on another failed social program and or non-profit who could be pilfering as there are no financial controls on either. That fix is a long-serving state politician getting a simplistic state nonjob to help boost his or her state pension. That fix is to give money to a politically connected business or individual for their work in a campaign, with no worries as to how the money is spent and if it is ever paid back.

And so, it remains in the indentured state of fiscally insolvent Connecticut. Connecticut Taxpayers are damned while the benefaction and veneration of the State's Political and Administrative Bureaucracy is the most critical work that our state government must perform. So let the state perform that critically valuable work all the way into bankruptcy. Regrettably, bankruptcy may be the only cure to eliminate the waste, fraud, crime, incompetency, and debt of Connecticut, once and for all.

Obstruction, Obfuscation, and Obnoxiousness. (Welcome To The Democrat Way of 2025)

The blame game. Obstruction. Lack of vision. Incompetency. Obscenity. Complaint. Embarrassment. Welcome in to Democrat Politics in 2025. The Democrat Party in 2025 places blame on all the supposed issues of our economy and society on everyone and everything except themselves, as they are without sin. Per them, it always the Republicans fault and of course all things President Trump. President Trump, much to the pleasure of the Democrat Party, has had to endure hundreds of lawsuits based on frivolous and inane interpretations of the law. That is just fine because it is all part of the Democrat Party blame and obstruction game. It is the game of interfering, regardless of the consequences to the citizen, the state, or the country. All of us, be damned.

The Democrat Party blame game currently can be seen in the stoic United States Senate with only 135 of the over 1,000 senior level appointments requiring Senate confirmation completed. "Democrats have forced multiple roll-call votes on more than 40 nominees for posts never subject to a single one. These confirmations used to take seconds. Now, each can take days. Today, 145 qualified nominees already approved by committees await full Senate approval. Nearly half these nominees earned bipartisan support in committee, and many have been waiting for months. Yet all are trapped in Senate procedural purgatory." (https://www.wsj.com/opinion/chuck-schumers-unprecedented blockade-66fb7741) Regardless of the welfare of the country, the Democrat Party blame game is helping to keep many important and critical government positions unfilled as they play their wicked political reprisal game due to their hatred of all things Donald Trump. The Democrat Party feels that this is good governing and how a government should run "efficiently" and for all the citizens they supposedly represent (or not). Because citizens do not matter as much as they do. (And shame on you if you think otherwise).

In addition, I am pleased to inform you that the Democrat Party blame game is alive and well in Connecticut where all sorts of rants, screams, protests, false crises, and incoherent gibberish are echoed daily. Of course, the Democrat calling card is invariably somehow tied to racism. On or about August 15, Connecticut Democrat State Representative Corey Paris provided a clear warning on Instagram to illegal aliens in his district to help them avoid Federal authorities. Of course, some illegal aliens are violent criminals and could very well place Rep. Paris’ constituents at risk of great harm. But ostensibly, Rep. Paris did not care. In a shameful embarrassment to Connecticut, the popular site “Libs of Tik Tok” re-posted this news and referred the post to the U.S. Justice Department with Rep. Paris' picture . Rather than Democrats reconnoitering, repenting, and re-doing because of this national humiliation and clear violation of Federal law, a farcical multi-party Democrat press conference was called in front of state-run media where we viewed the spectacle of a middle aged Liberal white woman (Rep. Eleni Kavros DeGraw) come to the defense of Rep. Paris by claiming his notoriety was due to the fact that “he is a Black Man in this country”  (https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1958239516646392115).  My friend and colleague Tony De Angelo asked on his THIRTY WITH TONY show if “Libs of Tik Tok” would have stopped short of making Rep. Paris’ post highlighting this felony if Rep. Paris were white. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWh2cvY7yaQ). As ridiculous as that question may seem, it is not at all surprising, as this is how the Democrat mindset continually seeks the lowest common denominator even if such a denominator makes no sense at all. Unfortunately, we are all quite used to this by now.

If you believe this low level pandering is bad, all becomes even worse. On Wednesday August 27, a mentally tormented transgender named Robin Westman ambushed Catholic school children praying in a school Mass, wounding eighteen and killing two. Shortly thereafter, we were treated to numerous outbursts of Democrat officeholders and talking heads deriding God, prayer, the Second Amendment (and of course, Donald Trump). It was truly a sickeningly remarkable sight as these twisted actions by self-aggrandizing political actors exhibited no regard for the wounded and the bereaved. However, not to be undone, pathetic celebrity wannabe Connecticut State Senator Bob Duff took the opportunity to post on Facebook and related the horrific shooting to Fox TV, Cracker Barrel, and the right wing, thus engendering more embarrassment for Connecticut: https://x.com/DailyCaller/status/1961134287065096208 . Unfortunately, in the Democrat blame game, this tired and sick act is one that we are all sick and tired of seeing by now.

But wait, there is more! Let us move to the national stage! The trio of  Connecticut Attorney General William Tong standing along unhinged United States Senator Chris Murphy and Vietnam Veteran United States Senator Richard Blumenthal bluster, declaim and roar about all the horrific things that the Republicans and in particular what President Trump is doing.  The President’s actions include (but are not limited to)  deporting illegal immigrants who were able to walk into our country during the failed Democrat Biden Administration, eliminating crime, thefts, and murders by making streets safe and by allowing law enforcement people to do their jobs, cutting waste, fraud and political nepotism out of our government, cutting off the flow of illegal drugs that has created a never ending crisis of death and dying, forcing states to follow laws that they are not following and much, much more.  But who cares? Daily, we are treated to the Litany of Horrors! The audacity of President Trump and the Republican Party attempting to make our nation safer! The audacity of President Trump and the Republican Party attempting to eliminate illegal drugs from our society! The audacity of President Trump and the Republican Party attempting to make our nation prosper! What will become of us when he declares himself ruler for life, (assuming we can survive in all of this mayhem until then?)

The Democrat Party blame game perpetually continues. The Democrat Party refuses to understand that it offers nothing any more to the American public except for the same stale arguments of redistribution of wealth (excluding themselves), legal rights for criminals and not for the victims, rights for illegal immigrants but not for legal United States citizens, and a new failed version of socialism where everything is free, and everyone is the same.  The Democrat Party cannot handle being in the minority in 2025. They cannot handle their epic failures. They cannot handle that their brand of elitist politics has struck a raw nerve of opposition by those individuals who work hard in the economy, want to live in safety, want to raise their families with respect, and have a belief in God.

The Democrat Party blame game will continue to be a losing proposition. As it should be. It is now ostensible that the Democrat mission is to destroy anything that is coherent, productive, believing, and useful in America. The Democrat Party hates America and anyone who voices opposition to their fetid and putrid policies. President Trump has created hope once again in our way of life and our country and is causing an energy not seen since the early days of Ronald Reagan. Its Morning in America once again. But these concepts are repulsive to Democrats that love darkness and hate America.

And America loves the daylight now visible at the end of a long, dark tunnel. It has been too long in coming.

The Poisoned Economic Nutmeg Of Connecticut- Where The Political System Destroys Business Economics (And It Could Care Less).

Economics is many times misunderstood. Most citizens correctly believe that elected officials have little to no understanding as to how economics and our nation's market system works. The Democrat Party, with no conception of how an economic system works, is especially of the mind that government should be the sole provider of all things economic; public transportation, public education, public child care, public housing, public drugs and drug treatment, public groceries, public safety and many other "public" items, of course with no idea as to how to pay for them other than to yell “tax the rich” or “tax the white neighborhoods” (if you are NYC presumptive Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani). The free market system, if it is functioning, allows for both the consumer and businesses to address supply and demand conditions with regards to the needs of the society. In Democrat states like Connecticut, a socialist based command/government directive economy exists instead, and this economy is doing a terrific job of driving the state to total ruin.

At one time in recent memory, a ride through the State of Connecticut was a remarkable sight. Cities were alive, safe, and functioning with commerce and culture and culinary choices. Beautiful suburbs featured well-kept homes and bright clean and green parks. The finest public schools produced the best and brightest students. Office space was hard to come by. Many avenues for upward mobility were available to the motivated. But if we take that same ride in Connecticut 2025 we see decaying, dangerous, and drug ridden cities where illegal aliens are prioritized over taxpayers. We see office space begging for tenants. We see formerly thriving commercial buildings are adorned with “FOR SALE” signs. We see parks have strewn with the homeless and the addicted. Schools have failed. Colleges have become Woke-Liberal paradises training students for no practical purpose and leaving them in incalculable debt. Taxes are high. Productivity is non-existent. The stark change is so dramatic and devastating that one wonders where the train jumped the track.

I submit to you that the economic poisoning of Connecticut started with the imposition of the Lowell Weicker-inspired Connecticut state income tax in 1991. Ever since that time, the state's economy has exhibited profound wreckage, exacerbated by the horrific regimes of Governors Dannel Malloy (2011–2019) and “Businessman Governor” Ned Lamont, (2019–present). This policy onslaught triggered a corporate exodus beginning that very same year with Saab and UPS, followed by General Electric relocating its headquarters from Fairfield to Boston in 2016, Alexion Pharmaceuticals fleeing New Haven for Boston in 2017 (after receiving a huge state handout of tax dollars), Aetna shifting operations to New York amid threats of full departure, and more recently, the LEGO Group announcing its U.S. headquarters move from Enfield to Boston by 2026, alongside Subway's 2023 transfer to Miami. Every single entity cited some combination of taxes, business hostility and administrative state oppression in its decision to depart.

It is inarguable that Connecticut has regressed economically form the past 34 years, while the inept, incompetent, and enabling state government has had its  budget increase dramatically over the same time. The state's budget increased from roughly $7 billion dollars in 1991 to over $26 billion dollars in 2025. Connecticut's population was roughly 3.3 million people in 1991 and is roughly 3.6 million people in 2025, (not counting the illegal and undocumented within the state borders). Thus, for a net increase of 300,000 people in 34 years, the state has increased spending by approximately $19 billion dollars a year. And taxes have increased dramatically over that same period while the same inept, incompetent, and enabling state government ignorantly continues on its path to destruction, seeing no reason whatsoever to change anything it is doing.

As discussed in the past, "The 2025 Rich States, Poor States" report issued by the American Legislative Exchange Council Center for State Fiscal Reform (https://www.richstatespoorstates.org/states/CT/) shows Connecticut as currently ranked 44th in the United States for its economic outlook."

"Connecticut is currently ranked 48th in the United States for its economic performance. This rank is a backward-looking measure based on the state’s performance (equal-weighted average) in three important performance variables shown below. These variables are highly influenced by state policy."

"Cumulative GDP Growth, 2013 - 2023

43.80%

44th

Cumulative Domestic Migration, 2014 - 2023

-170,538

41st

Non-Farm Employment Growth, 2013 - 2023

2.05%

43rd"

If one looks at a state as small as Connecticut spending over $26 billion dollars a year and being ranked this low in these important economic categories, ostensibly there is a massive imbalance in the state between private industry and state government. "New data from CBRE show the Greater Hartford office market sitting at a 28.2 percent vacancy rate, while Cushman & Wakefield peg Fairfield County availability at 26 percent in the first quarter of 2025. In some downtown blocks, empty space now tops 50 percent, creating a drag on local tax bases and neighborhood vitality." (https://waittgrain.com/markets/stocks.php?article=abnewswire-2025-6-20-connecticut-firm-helps-struggling-owners-as-commercial-vacancies-rise-across-the-state) Could an actual decline of businesses being in the state be a cause of these vacancies? Could the decline in businesses in Connecticut be due to the high property tax rates of the state? Could the decline in businesses in Connecticut be due to the high minimum wage rate? Could the decline in businesses in Connecticut be due to the high workers compensation and unemployment insurance tax rates? Could the decline in businesses in Connecticut be due to the poor bridge, road, and highway systems? Could the decline in businesses in Connecticut be due to the wretched economic decisions by the Democrat Party especially with the dysfunctional and non-transparent Department of Community and Economic Development picking their politically connected winners and losers? Could it be that whenever Connecticut tries to fix massive economic problems it starts a "new" state taxpayer funded program incentive to "resolve" the same economic problem, with the invariable result of greater failures at increased costs?

Regardless of the lies you have been told, Connecticut's economic decline is due to years of omnipotent Connecticut Democrat Party rule with a lack of transparency in state government, a bloated state government bureaucracy, high state and local taxes, a quagmire of byzantine business laws and regulations including high workers compensations costs, high unemployment tax costs, high paid family leave costs, and a state GOP that has never fully and aggressively advocated for sound business principles of Republicanism, refusing to do so to this very day.

In light of the above, why would anyone in their right mind want to own and operate a business in Connecticut?

Connecticut's state election is coming up in 2026. For the state to be saved and/or be the least bit viable anymore  Connecticut truly needs courage, boldness, and new ideas and to address its bloated state debt, state budget and unfunded liabilities.  It needs leaders who will actually lead and not scream and bellow incoherent gibberish about their perceived "injustices". It needs Republican and Conservative candidates to rise that are truly part of the conservative solution and not an extension of the problem that has taken place for decades.

Despite all the nonsensical gibberish we hear from political people about “injustices,” the gravest injustice in Connecticut is continually perpetuated upon its legitimate taxpaying citizens via the Democrat-Socialist-driven disaster that has masqueraded as a state government. A government that worships and nurtures the oppressive and overpaid administrative state. A government that steadfastly refuses to simplify and cut taxes. A legislature where not one member therein cries for the abolition of the Department of Economic and Community Development especially considering the recent nonprofit scandal.  A government in full embrace of the Trump-Burgum energy policy leading to the dilution of the Eversource burden upon the state. A government in grave need of open source and timely access to all state documentation and the seating of a citizen no-holds-barred DOGE panel to tear the compounded horrors wide open. Hard? Brutal? You had better believe it. But all of the above in my estimation are necessary to right a sinking ship sabotaged by self-serving bureaucrats and politicians over decades of wreckage.

The Democrat Party. Where Sins Are Continually Forgiven

Upon seeing repeated crime, death, and destruction in the Nation’s Capital, President Donald Trump finally decided that he had seen enough. On August 11, 2025, federalized law enforcement in Washington, D.C began by the President invoking Section 740 of the “Home Rule Act”. This placed the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and dysfunctional government under federal authority for up to 30 days due to a declared crime emergency. Mr. Trump deployed 800 D.C. National Guard troops and about five hundred federal officers from agencies like the FBI and ATF to patrol the city to address violent crime and protect federal assets. President Trump argued this bold move was necessary to combat urban crime and disorder.

In response to President Trump's federalization of Washington, D.C.'s various lunatic police protests erupted across the city, with unhinged activists from D.C., Maryland, and Virginia decrying the move as an overreach of federal power and a threat to local autonomy. Demonstrators, including groups like the "D.C. Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression", gathered at key locations like the 14th Street NW corridor and near the White House, chanting slogans such as "Go home, fascists" and "Get off our streets," and urged drivers to avoid federal checkpoints. Deluded critics, including local officials and civil rights groups, argued the intervention was unnecessary given declining crime rates, raising concerns about civil liberties and the criminalization of marginalized communities.(https://x.com/washingtonpost/status/1955411490531315721)[](https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/5451674-dc-residents-heckling-donald-trump-takeover/)[](https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/protests/dc-protest-federal-police-trump-administration/65-bc0556c1-9cbf-4445-8c53-17eacf46b413). In fact, one entitled and deranged attorney from the Department of Justice flung a Subway footlong sandwich at an ICE agent and subsequently lost his job and was charged as a criminal.

It is baffling to any sane person as to why anyone would commit a felony and/or lose his job to protest being delivered from a war zone.

Welcome in to another day and another thrashing of President Trump by someone in the Democrat Party or its attendant media politburo. Day in and day out, President Trump is never left alone to govern the country. He is always attacked in some way, shape or form since he took office in 2017. The Democrat Party has spent a mere eight years plus in a failed attempt to discredit President Trump, and if you have been following, it has not succeeded since he won the election in 2024. President Trump to many is acting as a super-human. He has fended off the Russian hoax spread by the Democrats along with numerous lawsuits brought by Socialist Attorney Generals and an assassination attempt. But Donald Trump is vilified by doing something different that is shaking up our stoic and dysfunctional political system and government. Mind us all, This is a political system and government that many feel no longer works and represents the people who supposedly elected them.

One could also look at the positive things that President Trump has done in his first days of his second term. He has addressed the devastating illegal immigrant crisis created by the Biden Administration. He is doing his best to make America energy independent again, away from the irrational and incompetent state officials who are dogging and obstructing him at every turn. He is doing his best to create both jobs and investment in the economy to stimulate economic growth. He has lowered taxes by the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" by which Connecticut benefits greatly. ( (https://taxfoundation.org/data/all/federal/obbba-average-tax-cuts-impact-map/) . He is torching a bloated Federal government.   He is addressing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the cancerous brainwashing of higher education. He has created a revolution to counter the unchecked and unwarranted Democrat Party Socialism that has been force fed to us for years. And he is winning the fight and exciting people by the day, contrary to what the state-run media wants us to believe.

Yet the Democrat Party still feels it does no wrong while President Trump can do no right. The Democrat Party is mad at President Trump. The Democrat Party likes to yell, swear and hurl insults at all things Trump. Even though Democrats are not in power except for incompetent and irrational states such as Connecticut, Democrats continue to try to rule the country with their deceptions and lies, (such as the unchecked Russian hoax that should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law).

In Connecticut, the Connecticut Democrat Party is dealing with several massive ethical, integrity, and personal character issues. Connecticut U.S. Senator Chris Murphy continues to become more embarrassing and unhinged every day about President Trump with several of his recent statements. For example, the third-term senator said in a recent interview that Trump “doesn’t give a fuck what we write” into spending legislation...“Every single day, there’s new evidence that our democracy is falling, and you’ve got to take stands. You have to take fights,” Murphy explained. “I just worry — every time that we go along with these appropriations bills, we’re putting a bipartisan veneer of endorsement on an illegal process that’s ultimately part of his campaign to destroy our democracy.” (https://www.politico.com/news/2025/08/13/chris-murphy-senate-funding-boycott-trump-protest-00505880). Can Senator Murphy explain to Connecticut Taxpayers in what ways is President Trump destroying our democracy? By rooting out corruption, political payoffs and crime? Can Senator Murphy explain to Connecticut Taxpayers how Democracy was not destroyed by having an incoherent, feeble, and ostensibly incontinent Democrat President Biden while his non-elected autopen handlers ran America into the ground for four years? Can Senator Murphy articulate the benefits of the Socialist policies of unchecked illegal immigration? Can Senator Murphy explain those same policies to legal United States Citizens families and loved ones who were murdered by some of the illegal immigrant cartels and individuals that were let in by the Democrat Biden Administration? Maybe Senator Murphy should be accountable for his statements by impeachment actions against him? He is a much clearer threat to our Democracy than President Trump. And it is a continuing wonder as to why the Connecticut Media (and even the state Republican Party) never (ever) in hammering him daily in the needed effort of forcing him to finally (and mercifully), resign.

But one continually wonders if having a criminal proclivity is a requirement of The Connecticut State Democrat Party for legislative service. Since Connecticut Democrats have permanent absolution for their sins within state lines, we see felon/shoplifter four-term Democrat State Representative Raghib Allie-Brennan still is holding his position in the state even he though apparently was caught shoplifting. Naturally, being a Democrat, he will find a way for his arrest to go away and retain his state taxpayer funded benefits and future pension accompanied by the usual state-run media blather of “he has turned the page,” or the like. Since his sins will be forgiven, he can run for United States Senator one day as a "victor". Or how about his fellow Democrats Robin Comey, Aundré Baumgartner, Geoff Luxenberg, Kevin Ryan, and Dennis Bradley who have faced criminal charges ranging from driving under the influence (DUI), to campaign finance fraud? But none of this matters. Anyone (including myself) raising these issues is branded as cruel, insensitive, or racist, (where applicable).

And the beat goes on. The Connecticut State Democrat Party now sees an incredible scandal developing with its (should-be-abolished) Department of Economic and Community Development and the “Minority Business Initiative” that has involved Democrat State Senator Douglas McCrory. Substantial amounts of missing money are involved coupled with vast amounts of “expenses and salaries” hiding in plain sight as paid from politically funded nonprofits that have escaped any legislative or bureaucratic oversight or fiscal control. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6lcguJsekU ). Federal Grand Jury subpoenas have been issued that tie prominent Democrat State Senator Douglas McCrory and consultant Sonserae Cicero-Hamlin (whom he apparently lives with). "McCrory sat on the advisory board during a years-long period when it was considering millions of dollars of grants or loans that went to a Cicero-Hamlin business" (https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/hartford-nonprofit-grand-jury-probes-state-senator-s-personal-relationship-with-grant-recipient/ar-AA1K2EvD?ocid=BingNewsVerp&cvid=4383a6a98ca4438cf3fd72dda846a09c&ei=25&apiversion=v2&noservercache=1&domshim=1&renderwebcomponents=1&wcseo=1&batchservertelemetry=1&noservertelemetry=1). As my friend and colleague Tony De Angelo said this past week, it is a positive development that Federal authorities are doing the job of oversight that Connecticut has failed to do for many years.

Indeed.

But the Democrat apple never rolls far from the rotten tree. Of course we can't forget Governor King Ned Lamont the Unaccountable and his dealings and financial interests with Sema-4, Digital Currency Group and its affiliates, ADVANCECT, 4-CT, Boston Consulting Group, UNITE US, Mt. Sinai Genomics, “The Horsebarn Hill Investment Fund”, Tidal River Fund, McKinsey, GeneDX, and the Lamont-based Cayman Islands shell companies.  Forget all of that because the Connecticut State Democrat Party, is doing no wrong with its lack of transparency with these companies and funding. And if you continue to mention this, you are either a conspiracy theorist, insensitive, or a broken record. For Connecticut to ever change for the better, this posture can be condoned no longer.

In conclusion, it is a lie that the Democrat Party can do no wrong and President Trump can do no right. These examples presented show a much different viewpoint of the damage and wrong that the Democrat Party has done to our society, state, and country. It is time move our country forward minus an incoherent, Socialist Democrat Party and its enablers. May God protect the good leaders such as President Trump so they may correct the injustices and rape of our society by the idiotic leaders of the failed Democrat Party.

Connecticut: The Economic Money Laundering State

Truth in government.  That, is a concept worth exploring.  We realize truth now has been modified to include variations on what was at one time, truth.  Factual truth in government now seems a distant reality as professional politicians and their handlers stumble over rhetoric, words and lies that are now considered truth.

Governance. The concept is obvious. But in Connecticut, the concept is non-existent, or is exercised in reverse. In recent days, several articles and radio and independent media reports have provided us with sordid potential accusations regarding a Federal Investigation into a myriad of state-funded nonprofit organizations, with said accusations taking into account a prominent state senator of color, a huge state “economic development” monolith, and a bevy of “consultants” that are incredibly well paid for ostensible non-jobs.

Governing. The horrific and obscene mess of what passes for Governing in Connecticut is enabled yearly by a group of no less than seventy five (75) asleep-at-the-switch Connecticut State Legislators sitting on the Legislative Commerce and Appropriations Committees, who ostensibly do nothing but hand over multi-millions of dollars every year without  a care to an untold number of tax exempt organizations, all of which are exempt from disclosure by statute drafted via the courtesy of that very same Legislature. After all, this system is great for glad-handing, crony-employing, and photo-opping.

We now enter the Twilight Zone. Welcome to the economic money-laundering State of Connecticut.

Regardless of the obscene amount of tax dollars spent, It is no surprise that Connecticut continues to have many social and economic problems.  That is the truth.  These problems include high taxation, a failing economy, a lack of job creation, a crumbling infrastructure, an illegal drug problem, a crime problem especially with vehicle thefts, unchecked state budget spending, in addition to $100-$150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities, all in excess of the venerated “Fiscal Guardrails” we hear so much about.  But these "truths" have been talked about and written about numerous times by myself and several others in the small group of the common citizen media that must counter the state run media's supposed "truths". And as time goes on, the state run media has been working overtime trying to turn the truth into fables.

This nonprofit scandal gets worse by the day. One of the latest "truths" in the scandal that the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (“DECD”) has somehow "lost" track of Connecticut Taxpayers monies given to several Hartford non-profit social services agencies. .   The Blue Hills Civic Association fell victim to a $300,000 wire fraud and compounded the felony by failing to immediately notify state officials of the theft when it was discovered. In April of 2025 , The Blue Hills Civic Association laid off most of its staff.  The Blue Hills Civic Association according to its 2024 audit lists its Executive Director receiving $149,481 in compensation for the year, she was dismissed from her job in April also. (https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/60876558).  The Blue Hills Civic Association has received nearly $14 million dollars from the DECD over the past two years in state and federal grants.  "State spending records show DECD continued to send federal money to the nonprofit after the theft occurred, providing a combined $1.23 million worth of federal dollars in March alone, with the last transfer occurring on March 20."(https://voteearlyct.com/f/blue-hills-civic-association-300k-alleged-wire-transfer-fraud). One must wonder where all the money went?

And why this was not front page news? And why did the Connecticut Legislature keep using the failure Connecticut Department of Economic and Community  Development to continually shovel funds to myriad nonprofits without question or analysis? This pattern defies any sort of logic.

Several Connecticut Republicans that were either brave, (or way (way) late to the issue at hand, depending on your viewpoint) issued a statement regarding this issue and trying to find out the "truth"  From August 6, 2025:

Sen. Rob Sampson, Sen. Henri Martin and Sen. Stephen Harding today issued the following statement regarding federal authorities issuing grand jury subpoenas ordering the State of Connecticut to produce extensive records as part of an investigation of possible irregularities in the distribution of tens of millions of dollars in government grants to social service and business nonprofit organizations in Hartford.

“Wow. A federal dragnet has been cast. The feds certainly seem to have built their case. Fraud and corruption? Sure looks like it. It’s YOUR money, Connecticut taxpayers. Hey, by the way: Where is the comment from Gov. Lamont and Connecticut Democrats? Are they as appalled as Republicans are? All we hear is crickets chirping.” (https://www.facebook.com/sampsonforct).

Indeed. Where is the comment of the Democrat Party and its Socialist Attorney General?

Considering that Connecticut has continually refused to clean up its own house, many decent taxpaying citizens are relieved that the sordid and corrupted situation in Connecticut is finally getting Federal attention. The stories seemingly get worse every single day. (https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/hartford-nonprofit-grand-jury-probes-state-senator-s-personal-relationship-with-grant-recipient/ar-AA1K2EvD?ocid=BingNewsVerp&cvid=4383a6a98ca4438cf3fd72dda846a09c&ei=25&apiversion=v2&noservercache=1&domshim=1&renderwebcomponents=1&wcseo=1&batchservertelemetry=1&noservertelemetry=1)But one question hitherto unasked was raised this past week by my friend and colleague Tony De Angelo as to how many of these state-funded nonprofit organizations have politically-connected “Executives” who are drawing salaries up to 40% of revenues, before “payments to consultants?” As of the time of this writing, this is already a huge story for which only the tip of the iceberg has been reached.

https://x.com/TonyDeAngelo7/status/1953434561238781967

Since all elevators stop at the top floor, of course one also wonders how much did King Governor Ned Lamont "The Unaccountable" know about these "Truths" perpetuated by the DECD and the State Legislature?  Hopefully, the Federal investigation will lead Connecticut Taxpayers to the real "Truth" of what happened to their hard earned tax monies.  But again, Connecticut Taxpayers have never had any  "Truth" forthcoming from unethical business dealings with no-bid state contracts going to Lamont- owned firms such as Sema4  that were heavily invested in Annie Lamont's hedge fund Oak HC/FT, and that the Lamont-related interests made upwards of $77,000,000 in one day at the Sema4 stock public offering.

Did the DECD ever investigate this "Truth"?  Did the Connecticut State Legislature?

Of course not.

But once again we see the same familiar song and dance in Connecticut.  The complex nonprofit debacle fueled by the Legislature and the dysfunctional and unaccountable Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development just keeps on wasting Connecticut Taxpayers monies. It is ostensible that the Connecticut Democrat Party, no matter what the cost, is there to protect the political ruling class who dictate to the Connecticut Taxpayers what they can and can't have.  Why does Connecticut even need the large, unaccountable, and power hungry economic failure known as the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development?

It is hoped that we can finally end the picking the winners and losers in a socialist state like Connecticut.  Let the free market system work once again in Connecticut.  Free the Connecticut Taxpayer from the Connecticut Democrat Party and its economically failed programs.  Force the Legislature to act like one and stop acting life a self-gratifying cadre of “what-me worry?” type lummoxes.

Hallelujah. It is time for "Truth" once again.

And "Truth" cannot arrive quickly enough in The Economic Money Laundering State of Connecticut.

The Failed Socialist Kamikaze Blue State Manifesto

In the waning years of World War II, Kamikaze pilots, young Japanese aviators often in their late teens or early twenties, undertook harrowing suicide missions, deliberately crashing their explosive-laden aircraft into Allied warships during the Pacific Theater’s final battles like Leyte Gulf and Okinawa. These attacks aimed to inflict maximum damage on enemy fleets, sinking or disabling ships to delay Japan’s inevitable defeat as resources dwindled and Allied forces advanced. Rooted in a culture of intense nationalism, devotion to Emperor Hirohito, and the Bushido code’s ideals of honor and self-sacrifice, pilots showcased both the pilots’ resolve and the extreme measures Japan adopted, leaving a haunting legacy of courage, loss, and the human cost of war. Historically, it has remained a fascination to historians as to why young men with their lives ahead of them destroyed all that they had for the sake of a failed ideal, further complicated by a twisted endeavor in a war they could not win.

However, fast forward to 2025, and we see that the Kamikaze spirit is alive and well in the failed and burdened tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Fighting against their sworn enemy President Donald J. Trump (known as "Trump") , Governors Ned Lamont, Kathy Hochul, and Phil Murphy have draped themselves in a faux Bushido code—more sanctimonious posturing than honor—as they wage their melodramatic crusade against a strong, free, vibrant, and independent America. Like Kamikaze pilots diving headfirst into oblivion, these liberal stalwarts fling themselves into futile battles, clutching their 2021-gun data-sharing pact like a sacred relic, boasting about snagging 28,527 illegal firearms while New York’s streets remain a progressive paradise of chaos. Hochul, with her Rambo fantasies, files lawsuits to save her precious $15 billion congestion pricing boondoggle, shaking her fist at Trump’s “overreach” while her state’s economy groans under her leadership. Meanwhile, King Governor Ned Lamont the Unaccountable continues to throw his state into wreckage and ruin daily when he is not out calling a fakey press conference announcing the throwing of money to strengthen the state against “Washington.” You will never see a discussion in the tri-state area as to how the Trump proposals could help these sick, poor, and battered states. Because the object is to 86-47. You must 86-47 even if you wreck your state and its citizens in the process. For this is the mindset of any good Kamikaze pilot.

But to be an effective Kamikaze pilot, you must have an enemy, and you must hate him. President Trump is obviously a powerful man who must know some dark secrets of politicians and our government since he is so hated by the Democrat Party and the media of our country since he came on the political scene in 2015. Given this premise that everything the President does is wrong/evil/bad/horrific/bad for the economy/kills people/starves people and the like, it is the goal of every good Kamikaze pilot to train acolytes that can play follow the leader to the Socialist death spiral .  This is what you view if you are living in a blue state and if you follow the stoic and controlled state-run media gasping in its final breaths of trying to still be significant you will hear nothing visionary, positive, or constructive. Instead, you will have your ears blitzed every day as to how bad “Trump” is, and we should be thankful every day that we have defenders such as Ned Lamont and Chris Murphy, who fight "Trump" every day for us all. However, if you live in a red state, you probably view President Trump differently and are probably in a much better economic position than your blue state family and friends. You are no doubt happier and better adjusted as well in not hearing the nattering nabobs of negativism and ruin continually.

In any event, here is a "real" example of the tri-state region’s "Blue" on its Kamikaze flight to destruction.

The tri-state region of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut are all Socialist states that spend excessively with massive social and economic problems that continue to increase on a daily basis. Looking at these three states from a local and state tax burden; New York is ranked #2 with a 13.6% tax burden meaning almost 14 cents of every dollar of their income goes to state and local government.   New Jersey is ranked #6 with a 10.3% tax burden meaning 10 cents of every dollar of their income goes to state and local government, while Connecticut is ranked #10 with a 9.9% tax burden meaning almost 10 cents of every dollar of their income goes to state and local government.  This rate does not include their federal tax burden, which further adds to their overall tax burden. (https://www.visualcapitalist.com/mapped-the-most-taxed-states-in-america/). Red states in most cases have a much lower tax and debt burden.

To “fight Trump” no program will be forsaken and no spending will ever cease. This posture causes untenable and unbearable amounts of debt to be borne by taxpayers. New Jersey's combined local and state government debt is $92,231,421,000 or as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is 14.5%, New York's combined local and state government debt is $358,150,378,000 or as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is 20.2% which ranks first in the country, while Connecticut is ranked #2 with combined local and state government debt is $53,612,594,000 or as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is 18.6%. (https://www.moneytalksnews.com/slideshows/15-states-with-the-most-government-debt-per-capita/) As I have written before Connecticut has $100 to $150 billion dollars in short and low term debt along with its unfunded liabilities (pensions, lifetime benefits, well more than the celebrated “fiscal guardrails”).

But who cares? Fighting Trump is mission critical mass, no matter how much it costs taxpayers.

The 18th Annual Rich States, Poor States report also shows how poorly the tri-state region is doing economically. New York is ranked #50 out of 50 states for its poor economic outlook, New Jersey is ranked #48 out of 50 states for its poor economic outlook and Connecticut rounds it out at #44 out of 50 states for its poor economic outlook.  These rankings are based on 15 policy variables including taxes, debt, minimum wages, workers compensation and being a right to work state.  All three states are doing poorly according to this study on economic competitiveness in our country. (https://alec.org/publication/rich-states-poor-states-18th-edition/)

What does these high taxes and high debt do for these Socialist/Liberal Blue states? Why do we still have increased social problems such as illegal drug abuse with a constant fentanyl crisis, homeless people and an illegal immigrant population that increase more as more is expended?  According to many Kamikaze tri-state politicians, taxes are not nearly high enough and by raising taxes even more these problems will be resolved. In the opinion of many, if you could tax at a 100% rate you still would have the same problems in greater number since there is little to no accountability,  governance, and/or results with the billions being spent on these problems and their attendant programs.

But given the serial failure of the tri-state area, the objective to destruction may not be a Kamikaze attack but rather, a barbaric trench warfare battle with the destruction of the American way of life as the objective. This is certainly a consideration as the blue tri-state area has now even more extreme socialist/liberal politicians running in upcoming elections led by avowed radical Socialist/Communist, Zohran Mamdani , candidate for Mayor in New York City. His platform should keep New York at the bottom of economic of all economic categories while at the top of all tax categories while any decent and normal-thinking citizen will leave as soon as they possibly can. It is also interesting to note Communist/Socialist/Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (“AOC”) has raised  $15.4 million already for advertising and her 2026 re-election campaign for her New York House seat. But isn't AOC a hypocrite by raising all this money which instead could go to her constituents in her battered and shameful district and/or others in New York City who are homeless, have no food, no childcare, health care and or were victims of violent crimes?

I would not think so. The more human wreckage there is, the more “Trump” can be blamed. The more “Trump” is blamed, the more the Kamikaze mindset is unleashed on those poor weak souls that know no better. With control of the media, this sick strategy produces more debt, more crime, more drug abuse and more physically and mentally destroyed people who become voters for the same wreckage and failure.

For destroying the lives of people is perfectly acceptable if the right people retain their decrepit empire. This is what "help" is defined as in Socialism.
There  continues to be a strong need to understand the myths and realities of the socialist/liberal blue states of America. It would be refreshing for many if the Republican Party finally began to understand what is taking place and started attacking these failed policies and programs and offer free market alternatives to these wasteful social experiments called state government policy. And mind us all, this is just a small aspect of their failures in solving the problems of these blue Socialist states, excessively high taxes, excessively high debt, and failed command type economic policies.

Are these the states you really want to live and die in? My guess is that you would have to have the sick and demented mindset of a Kamikaze pilot to answer that particular question in the affirmative.
