Another week and all of the news in Connecticut pertains to career criminals stealing vehicles and assorted shootings with illegal guns, the greatness of legalized marijuana and of course the never ending fear based Covid 19 narrative.
Here are some interesting statistics one can derive from the Covid 19 crisis and the lack of information being given to the public by our state government and the state run media.
Connecticut has a population of roughly 3,565,000 million people. According to worldometer.org and the Connecticut Department of Public Health, the state has had since the crisis began 361,836 cases with 8,307 deaths. Thus if one was to look at this statistic .0023% of the state population died from Covid. Of those same 361,836 cases, 341,673 individuals got better and recovered from Covid. Thus if one was to look at this statistic 94.4% recovered. Another statistic is that less than 8% of the state population got Covid (I can't determine how many of the 361,836 cases showed false positives and were made on the same person thus lowering the 8% figure). Over 10,161,726 tests were given (which is a massive number given the states population). This is one of the highest figures in the country based upon our population. One must remember that Governor Ned Lamont's family hedge fund has a financial interest in Sema-4 which gives these tests along with a few other vendors in the state. Why so many tests? Possibly more profits for the Governor and his hedge fund? As of August 13 259 individuals are currently in the hospital with Covid-19. This represents .00007265% of Connecticut's population.
Those are the real numbers that we have in Connecticut. Are they alarming? To me they are not. There are more people who die of abortion, drug overdoses, suicides, cancer of all forms, and murders combined than Covid-19 by a wide margin. Why isn't Connecticut's highly paid state government officials doing something about abortions, drug overdoses, suicides, cancer of all forms, and murders then? What is about Covid-19 that it can not be looked at in a rational manner? The fear of government losing control of the population? The fear that Socialism being forced upon us with Covid-19 as an excuse is failing on a daily basis? It is highly unlikely you will die from Covid-19. It is highly unlikely that by wearing a mask it will stop Covid-19. It is highly unlikely that a "delta" strain of Covid-19 is any worse than all of the other variations of Covid or other viruses.
Covid mania. Delta mania. Real figures. Fear and panic by a leaderless profit grabbing socialistic Connecticut state government. And another weeks passes that we try to Free Connecticut.

I agree with your entire narrative.
My question? When will those in authority who have a voice and a lot more political power than the average lay person, start to "challenge" and present actual facts to Governor Lamont?
The fear mongering has gone on long enough. The mainstream media is as complicit in this if not the lead promoter of these over exaggerated presentations.
I suspect that the Governor is under order's from higher places and that the school boards are on board with pushing this narrative.
I have yet to see any peer reviewed studies presented which back up their "claims" about masks, social distancing etc.
How can it be that the CDC and the WHO recently admitted that the PCR test, ( which was not designed to test for Covid according to it's inventor), not only produces false positives but that it cannot differentiate between the flu and covid 19.
If that stands true, why has NO ONE asked the Governor exactly how they are testing for Covid presently during this " Delta" variant and coming up with the numbers they are?
It is little wonder that people are buying into the number's game.
Our children cannot keep being the pawns of this political tug of war. They are systematically being introduced to the idea that they are only " safe" with a mask and that they will not catch it or spread it if they are 3 feet away...
The psychological warfare, child abuse, and crimes against children need to stop immediately and it should NOT be a decision dictated by the Government or the school board.
What is glaringly evident is that Governor Lamont has his own agenda, has gotten used to waving the power wand and has little to no interest in what the parents of these school age children have to say. I have yet to see him be willing to hold an open forum to hear these people out. And, sadly, he, in all likelihood, will not as it goes against the near 18 months power trip he has headed.
The censorship for those who seek to impart the truth, is neither covered or allowed by the mainstream media, or certain social platforms, is unprecedented.
This will absolutely continue until someone of consequence steps up with this or her constituents and starts to rattle some cages.
Obviously, the people are doing what they can but with little to no effect.
How much longer and how many more of our freedoms need to be whittled away before people wake up?
