Some thoughts for Thursday on Connecticut.
Can this be the year that Connecticut's oppressive economic and political climate changes?
Can this be the year that some new thoughts are developed to move Connecticut's economy forward rather than the usual higher taxes and elite corporate welfare/campaign donation scenarios?
Can this be the year that Connecticut actually addresses its bloated state spending?
Can this be the year that Connecticut addresses finally its massive long term unfunded debt and liabilities?
Can this be the year that Connecticut seeks a new workfare/welfare system that empowers those who are truly in need with the skills necessary to be productive again?
Can this be the year that Connecticut has a full accounting of its business/corporate welfare programs to see who if any has actually paid back their low cost/no cost loans and what is the actual costs of these programs to state taxpayer's?
Can this be the year that Connecticut actually has a full audit of its spending showing taxpayers how many state spending programs are no longer counted in the state budget and what are the true costs and debts to taxpayers?
Can this be the year that Connecticut actually ends Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule?

Or will this be just another year for Connecticut to follow its continuing path of economic ruin, excessive state spending, higher taxes, and even more people fleeing the state to escape the turmoil of
Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule?

More Malloy Connecticut Economic Fantasy News

In Connecticut there seems to be an economic fantasy taking place by Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule.
The economic fantasy is to take taxpayer's monies and give it to businesses already here in Connecticut to keep them here.  Some of those same businesses then donate to some "legal" Democratic party campaign fund.  The net result seems to be a business must pay to play here in Connecticut.
We see little if any mention any more on what has happened to state taxpayers monies given to the Back 9 Network, Ticket Network, Hybrid Insurance Group, The Lazy Burrito restaurant and Bridgewater Associates.
Now what is really happening as far as a loss of jobs really does not get mentioned.
What about in Sprague where Fusion Paperboard will close laying off 140 employees?  Didn't they receive a 10 year $3 million dollar loan at 3% interest to expand operations, keep 147 jobs and create 20 new ones?
Oh well what is $3 million dollars when it is not yours.
How about the Sealed Air Corporation moving 50 jobs out of Danbury to Charlotte?
Thus here are two examples of job losses-one critical to the economic vitality of Sprague.

The economic policies of the Malloy Administration and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule are an economic fantasy.  They have failed our state economy.  They have wasted four more years of state taxpayers monies.  It is a false economic reality.  It has failed our economy.

This is the true economic reality that the Malloy Administration and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule are running on.  Do they really deserve re election in November?

A hypothetical Question and Answer session-we know this will never happen.

Questions and Answers.
SS: Connecticut's Economy ranks near last in many different economic and business categories as compared to other states-why is that?
HOOPR:  We really do not know where that made up information comes from, we have created 55,000 jobs.
SS:  But the state has lost in excess of over 120,000 jobs.
HOOPR: Again we state we have created 55,000 jobs.
SS:  That means then there is still 65,000 jobs that have been lost since Mr. Malloy has taken office.
HOOPR: No we have created 55,000 jobs.
SS: Government can not create jobs however, only private industry can.
HOOPR: You are right yet we have created 55,000 jobs and will be creating more through the Governor's First Five Program.
SS:  But why are we using taxpayer's monies to create jobs?  Why can't we just lower taxes and excessive governmental regulations to help business and industry in the state?
HOOPR:  That may be possible but not probable.  When we give taxpayer's monies to these companies they create jobs.
SS: But you did not answer the question.  Also many have started to question the amount of money being donated the Democrats by these same companies.
HOOPR: We stand by the 55,000 jobs created.
SS:  Connecticut has one of the highest tax rates in the country along over $100 billion dollars in long term debt.  What is being done by your party to address the debt?
HOOPR:  We do not have debt we now have a surplus.
SS:  How can that be, Connecticut has one of the highest per capital debt per person in the country?
HOOPR:  Through the Governor's revenue increases we have a surplus.
SS:  Then why for Fiscal year 2015-2016 we are looking at a budget deficit?
HOOPR: I do not know we have a surplus, why are you asking all of these irrelevant questions on taxes, jobs, the economy and the like?
SS:  Because they impact everyone who still lives in the state, we are still seeing many, many citizens moving out of Connecticut due to high taxes and few jobs.
HOOPR:  You are wrong as are all Republicans-we have created 55,000 jobs and we have a surplus.
SS:  Then what about the 65,000 jobs that have not been recreated?  What about those workers who have given up all hope of finding a job in Connecticut?
HOOPR:  You have unemployment compensation.
SS:  But the state's unemployment compensation fund has had to borrow a massive amount of money from the federal government to stay afloat and charges the remaining state's businesses a special tax each August just to help pay down the interest on this borrowed money.
HOOPR: So what.
SS:  How does that help businesses in the state?  When they now have to pay even more money for their unemployment compensation taxes?
HOOPR:  Again we have created 55,000 jobs.

This question and answer session continued for many hours, and it was always the same answer-I truly hope you are one of the special 55,000 who got a job created from Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule.  The same party that has brought to you high taxes, high unemployment, and no answers.
Why would any voter vote again for these lies?
We really need a change this November.

What doesn't Mr. Malloy understand?
Does he understand free market economics?
Does he understand higher taxes lead to less economic growth?
Does he understand higher taxes lead to even more state governmental spending?
Does he understand higher taxes lead to less consumer spending and investments?
Does he understand that corporate welfare is paid for by Connecticut taxpayers?
Does he understand that excessive state governmental debt erodes the states economy?
Does he understand that Connecticut continues not to create any new jobs or replace the ones that were lost since he took office?
Does he understand that excessive costs of doing business in Connecticut lead businesses to relocate out of the state?
What doesn't Mr. Malloy understand?
I truly wonder if he has any idea the economic damage that his policies and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule have done to Connecticut?
And on this economic record Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule run for reelection this November.
And on this economic record Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule apparently see fit that they should be reelected?
I know if a Republican Governor and Republican controlled Legislature were to run on this type of economic record they would be laughed out of office.
Who is laughing now?  I'm not and I am sure you are not either.

And ranked at #46 (and to me falling) is Connecticut.  How can that be?  I thought we lived in an Utopian Liberals Dreamland?
Connecticut has the fourth highest costs in doing business in our country.  Connecticut has the third highest cost of living in the country.  Connecticut has the second worse economy in the country.  These spectacular numbers lead Connecticut to be ranked #46 in the country for business.
I was wondering if Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule understands the implications of what they have created in our state.  A state that is fast becoming an economic wasteland of lost opportunity and resources.
Will anyone running for state office discuss what they are proposing to do to improve the economy?
Will anyone running for state office discuss what they are proposing to do with our high tax rates?
Will anyone running for state office discuss what they are proposing to do to pay off the $100 billion plus of unfunded liabilities that the state has?
Will anyone running for state office discuss what they are proposing to do to keep violent criminals off our streets?
Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule has really no answers any more.  Their tried and true tactics of more spending, new and much higher taxes, corporate welfare have failed on a day-to-day basis in Connecticut for too many years now.

Where Is America's Plan In 2014?

Where is America's Plan in 2014?
I do not know.  For the life of me I can not understand any of the policies that Mr. Obama, Mr. Biden,  Mr. Kerry or Mr. Holder expand upon in this current illogical and irrational Administration.
Why are we giving up on Iraq?  How much time, money and human life was expanded to see it go up to terrorism now?  What is the plan for its future?  Obviously none.  It does not concern either Mr. Obama, Mr. Biden, or Mr. Kerry as to either the strategic importance of freedom for those who actually believe in freedom in the Middle East and the new development of more and greater terrorism to be found there.  Why are we risking more American deaths because of this crisis? Mr. Obama, Mr. Biden, or Mr. Kerry should really explain to the American public and military what their actual plan is there.  Is the wholesale murdering of innocent Iraq citizens a way to propel their liberal Utopian ideologies? Why did so many American service men and women die in vain in Iraq?
What about immigration unchecked and run rampant in Texas and in our southwestern borders.  Mr. Obama, Mr. Biden, Mr. Kerry or Mr. Holder should really explain to the American public what this plan is all about.  What is the purpose of this?  Why are we wasting taxpayers monies in this manner?  What is the benefit to our country of unchecked immigration?
Scandals come and go to this Administration.  There are ignored for the advancements of their liberal and lawless agenda.  Our national elected officials are more concerned about frivolous feel good items rather than the disrespect and disregard of the Constitution by this Administration.  Just look at the United States Senate in action along with Connecticut's Senators.  Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil, a simpleton approach to the massive crises that America has today.  The Senate could care less about the American taxpayer.
Talk is cheap.  It is what we have in 2014.  Where is America's Plan in 2014?
I do not know what it is?  Why am I paying taxes to support it?

Wednesday's Thoughts

Over the past few days several individuals have asked me either to try to explain certain issues and or situations that have occurred over the past few weeks.
This week I will try to explain and give my thoughts on several issues that were brought up.
1. Why are the New Britain Rockcats moving to Hartford in a new stadium which is estimated to cost $60 million dollars?  I really do understand this move other than there must be some massive economic incentives being offered to the Rockcats.  I also have no idea how a city as broke as Hartford is coming up with this money for a new stadium and why is it a priority for them.  I know I will have little incentive as a fan to go into Hartford at night to see a game. My feelings are at the last minute the state will come up with a plan to pay for most of the stadium through our tax dollars and the Rockcats will be moving out of the state within five years.  It is truly a lose, lose for New Britain, Hartford and Connecticut taxpayers.
2. Why are candidates running for state office not stating what their goals and plans are if they get elected?  With the exception of a handful of the more conservative candidates I along with you know little about what is going to be done to turn our state around.  We know as taxpayers and voters that Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule do not discuss specifics until they either jam down our throats another tax increase or spending program.  We also can see fringe candidates making third party attempts to run for Governor with extreme Lieutenant Governor candidates running along side of them.  And we should be realistic in the fact that Connecticut is basically broke with (pick your figure) of over $100 billion dollars in unfunded liabilities, a budget deficit of $1 to $2 billion dollars for fiscal 2015 and negative economic growth.
Thus what is the plan by any candidate?  The concern seems only to be to qualify for taxpayers monies to run their campaign.
3. IRS Scandal.  What is going with this-not much since it continues to be in my opinion fully covered up by the Obama Administration.  Same with VA Hospitals, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Immigration, Telephone records, the list keeps growing by the day with no resolution to anything.  Many moderate and conservative Democrats continue to pull away from this Administration and Mr. Obama continues to look totally unprepared attempting to hold the highest office in the land.  The National midterm elections to me will turn out to be a cleansing on both sides of the aisle.  Washington to me no longer represents the voters who elected them into office.  Senators and Representatives for life have ruined our government along with a massive bureaucracy which entraps our free market system and the exchange of free ideas in our economy.  The tide is turning against the established Washington way in 2014.

We are at a turning point in American history on June 11, 2014.  The corruption that engulfs government is ruining our way of life.  We are still looking for leadership in both Hartford and Washington.

Really sad to watch Obama haters attack this kid who CHOSE to fight to protect the rest of us, just to score political points.

Has Chris Murphy ever been in the military? 

Has he ever come under enemy fire? 

Has he seen firsthand the destruction of a generation of young men and women who have seen combat on foreign soil?  

Has he waited in a Veterans Hospital for care?

Has he seen the jungles of Vietnam and been a POW there?

Has he seen the Middle Eastern hatred of our military men and women who have fought there?

Has he seen how military families been torn apart from the combat deaths of those loved who gave their lives without hesitation to protect the freedom of others (including Chris Murphy)?

Here is something for Chris Murphy to ponder over his coming lifetime as Connecticut’s Senator for Life:

We can reflect on the great sacrifices our military men and women make each day without ego or fanfare to help keep our country safe from worldwide threats. We can also reflect on all of the men and women who gave their lives to our country to keep us free. Freedom has never been nor ever will be free nor should it ever be taken for granted.

Chris Murphy Connecticut’s Senator for Life should really resign over his remarks which have degraded and disgraced every man and women who served our country.

What About If Connecticut Had?

Just thinking.
What about if Connecticut had low taxes and a robust economic climate?
What about if Connecticut had people who wanted to move into the state?
What about if Connecticut had business and industry who wanted to move into the state without taxpayer funded subsidies?
What about if Connecticut had elected officials who put the needs of the state above their personal gain?
What about if Connecticut had high ranking officials who had to work for twenty years before they received their pensions?
What about if Connecticut had a highway system free of construction, potholes, uneven roads and falling-apart bridges?
What about if Connecticut had a better binding arbitration system which was equal and fair to the towns and cities that had to abide by it?
What about if Connecticut had a true competitive state employment system to hire its workers?
What about if Connecticut had a University and Community College system which was truly affordable for legal state residents?
What about if Connecticut had a true balanced budget, no unfunded liabilities and little long term bonding?
What about if Connecticut had a Governor who actually understood the state budget and its implications to take programs off budget?
What about if Connecticut had a Governor who actually governed?
Connecticut-we have none of the above-can change be imminent in November?  Just thinking...

Let Us Place Economic Blame On...

Politicians love to place blame.  For example Mr. Malloy has placed blame on the Republicans (?) for the current economic problems of the state.  High unemployment, a lack of economic growth, residents moving out of state, one of the highest tax burdens in the country and about $80 billion dollars of unfunded liabilities are somehow now the blame of the Republicans.  As a Republican I take great offense to Mr. Malloy’s implication.  I wonder who has been Governor for the past four years.   I wonder who has controlled the State Legislature for how many years-too many to even count at this time.

Thus who is at fault?  We are constantly led to believe that by increasing taxes and increasing spending somehow all of our social and economic problems go away.  We as taxpayers are led to believe that if one position in state government goes unfulfilled (especially when a former Democratic official is not given it) or one program gets cut our state somehow implodes.  Thus we have one of the highest tax rates in the country and one of the highest per capita state governments spending per citizen in the country and in economic reality not much to show for it.  We basically have the same economic and social problems year in and year out.  Whether or not we tax and spend more. 

It truly has become an economic burden to live and work in Connecticut.  As a taxpayer we are held hostage by Hartford’s Omnipotent One Party Rule.  Taxpayers work for government and serve our elected officials.  There is no more checks and balances in state government.  To me it is more an economic disaster day in and day out. 

November is coming the lies about our state will grow by the day.  And who we will elect?  And who will we blame?

Do you see a pattern developing?  Economic chaos and turmoil induced by runaway state spending, nepotism and unethical political behavior?

Welcome to the future of Connecticut.  Land of Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule.  Are you a Democrat who recently either decided not to run for reelection and or lose an election?  No worries, there is a taxpayer's funded job waiting for you in state government.  No need to fill out an application or take an exam, the job is there waiting.  See the former Democratic Mayor of New Britain as an example.  One of many.

Apparently since Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule has been power we see a continuing decline in our economy with high taxes, large deficits, high unemployment and no economic growth.
Unless you are politically connected and receive free taxpayer's monies for your business and then legally give to the Democrat party of Connecticut.  Picking economic winners is a sport for Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule.  And also a disgrace.

This pattern and economic fraud needs to stop in Connecticut.  Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule must be voted out of office.  A change is essential if Connecticut is going to survive economically.  Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule can no longer govern with the chronic lies it feeds taxpayers.  Taxpayers need answers not the deaf political ears of Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule.

This Is A Budget?

Wow, what a state budget!  I wonder if anyone can understand Connecticut's budget?  How much more was pushed off budget?  Does anyone know how much in long term debt and unfunded liabilities the state actually has?  How does obtaining a theoretical $75 million dollars in back taxes help balance a $19 billion dollars that is filled with pork and excesses?  How large a budget deficit is the new Governor looking at when he or she takes office next January (I am truly optimistic that Malloy is one term and done)?  Is it over $1 billion dollars already?  Possibly $2 billion dollars?  And at what level of new and increased taxation will be needed to maintain this bloated spending?
Many questions however no answers by Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule.  Promise everything to the politically connected and force the politically unconnected taxpayers to pay for it.  And still have no long term solutions to the serious economic issues Connecticut has.  It is the same story over and over again, year in and year out.  No changes.  With this budget Connecticut should be ranked 50th out of 50 states in all categories economically soon.
Many plead for a change in Hartford, more balance to government, less laws, less spending, less taxes.  It goes unnoticed and unheard.  Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule only concern is their power, power that is stolen and exhibited in so many different ways.
November is fast approaching-is this really the government that taxpayers want?

No Rebate, Not Now Not Never -

Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule have had enough of tax rebates in an election year. Apparently due to the Bush tax cuts enacted back in 2006 (?), Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule are not receiving enough in capital gains taxes and thus no rebates.  Tax revenues are now all of a sudden down dramatically.  No rebates, not now, not never.  Thus I ask the question when is a rebate, a rebate or a rebate?  The twisted irrational economic logic and tax structure of Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule truly astounds me.  Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule lack of economic literacy is shining through this rebate program.
Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule enacted the largest tax increase in the state's history when Mr. Malloy took office.  The largest tax increase in our state's history was supposed to resolve all of our economic problems and provide Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule even more money to spend at their whim.
So what happened?  All of these higher taxes end up creating even less tax revenues?  Was it that difficult for Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule to figure that out?  And in the same logic it is perfectly acceptable to give away millions of dollars of taxpayer's monies to businesses in the state under the disguise of job retention and or job creation (which is not happening).
It is a sickening economic tax and spend policy that Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule have pursued for the past four years.  Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule are completely out-of-touch with the economic reality of Connecticut.  Their policies have failed taxpayers miserably.
No rebates, not now, not never.
How about No Mr. Malloy and Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule - not now, now never and certainly not this coming November?  Just a thought...

More Free State Money

Come one and all, yet even more free taxpayer’s monies are available by Dan Malloy and Hartford’s Omnipotent One Party Rule.  The next in line for free taxpayers’ monies is in a candidate for Governor home town of Danbury.  The poor Cartus Company of Danbury will now receive incentives of a mere $6.5 million of free taxpayer’s monies so they do not move out of state.  From what I can tell a mere $1.9 million of this free taxpayer’s monies will be forgiven if it retains its 1275 employee workforce.  But here is where it gets better, if they create 100 jobs $3.25 million is forgiven and if they create a mere 200 jobs the entire $6.5 million is forgiven.  At a cost to taxpayer’s of only $32,500 per job.  How long will it take the state to actually receive $6.5 million in new tax money to offset this free money given away in this election year?

Any ideas?  After all it is taxpayer’s monies that is being spent by Dan Malloy and Hartford’s Omnipotent One Party Rule.

Dan Malloy and Hartford’s Omnipotent One Party Rule cannot do enough to manipulate our state economy.  Nor can they give away our taxpayer’s monies fast enough.  For power for Dan Malloy and Hartford’s Omnipotent One Party Rule can never be enough.  An irrational taxpayer’s funded business dollar giveaway is just never enough.  And I really hope in January 2015 we no longer have to put up with Dan Malloy and Hartford’s Omnipotent One Party Rule any more

Is The Tide Turning For Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule? Then Back To Normal.

There was a brief bright spot in Connecticut in the 61st District as Republican Tami Zawistowski won the Special Election to replace Democrat Elaine C. O'Brien who passed away seven weeks ago.  Ms. Zawistowski won by a large margin also in the election.
Could this be a trend for November?  Could it mean the end of Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule?  Maybe we are seeing that taxpayers are irate over the way Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule has damaged Connecticut economically?  The tide has turned and the Democrats are going to be in full spin mode trying to salvage November.  I feel their losses will be mounting through this year.

Another example of the State Legislatures lack of reality, is the Senate led by retiring Senate President Pro Tem Don Williams passed a bill to ban genetically engineered grass seed designed to resist pesticides and herbicides.  However the product apparently has not been developed yet or is in the market.  The House voted down the bill.  My question as a taxpayer is why was this bill even discussed?  With all of the economic problems Connecticut has this was the most pressing issue he could legislate?  And why is Mr. Williams a leading candidate to become President of Quinebaug Valley Community College?  Political connections?  How is he qualified for this position?  After teaching for 32 years why am I not qualified?  I forgot I am not part of the politically elite that have used their political offices for personal and economic gain as is done so well by Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule.  Taxpayers serve our elected officials here in Connecticut-this is just another example.

This Week's Connecticut Economic Observations

I am back from a too brief visit with family in Florida.  I am always amazed at the lower taxes in Florida as compared to here in Connecticut.  No state income tax in Florida and much lower property taxes.
I also can see how middle class taxpayers here in Connecticut are the true servants to our state government.  State government and Hartford's Omnipotent One  Party Rule represents those politically connected not those who work for a living.  We can see the massive indifference by our elected officials here in Connecticut towards those who they supposedly represent.
For example and a continuing example is the massive amounts of free taxpayers monies which are given out by Hartford's Omnipotent One  Party Rule through the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD).  We still have no answers on the $400,000,000 that is given out freely and it seems to me without any qualifiers except for not paying much of it back.   I am curious as to what would happen if we did not pay our state taxes, would they be forgiven?
We see now a politically connected individual Anthony Avallone, a 67 year-old former Democratic State Senator, being appointed to a State Judge position and thus qualifying for a massive pension in just three short years.   Apparently he can receive a mere $104,000 a year after three years as a Judge.
I hope he enjoys that sweet taxpayer funded deal due to his political connections.
Connecticut Network CTN, which is the taxpayer funded General Assembly television network watched by many(?) of our state elected officials is scheduled to see its budget increase from a mere $2.5 million a year to $6 million a year through this unseen piece of a new law being promoted in our General Asssembly:

Section 1. Section 2-71x of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:

For the fiscal year ending June 30, [2007] 2014, and each fiscal year thereafter, the Comptroller shall segregate [two million five hundred thousand] six million dollars of the amount of the funds received by the state from the tax imposed under chapter 211 on public service companies providing community antenna television service in this state. The moneys segregated by the Comptroller shall be deposited with the Treasurer and made available to the Office of Legislative Management to defray the cost of providing the citizens of this state with Connecticut Television Network coverage of state government deliberations and public policy events.

No big deal what is another $3.5 million of taxpayer's monies?

And so it continues-Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule ruining Connecticut economically day by day. Connecticut Taxpayers must support this economic regime day by day also.

Another Day - Another New Connecticut Utopian Law Proposal

It is another day here in Connecticut, land of economic lasts.

And being another day here in economic lasts, Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule has hatched a new plan to spend taxpayers monies.
This new law proposal wants to provide a state retirement pension system for those private sector workers who do not have one where they work.

Senate Majority Leader Martin Looney of New Haven and House Majority Leader Joseph Aresimowicz of Berlin have developed this Utopian/Orwellian plan, both noting they do not know what it will cost the state. Does any elected official know what any programs costs the state? Probably not, but one does not worry about that when you are an elected official in the State of Connecticut. A state of economics lasts in the country.The details naturally are sketchy at this time for this pension plan (sort of like Obamacare), but I thought that was what Social Security was for? I thought Social Security was supposed to take care of us when we retire after paying in taxes to support it for let say give or take 50 years of working-if one starts at age 16 and works until 65. However that is not true now, because you will not receive a large Social Security check when you retire for apparently a variety of economic reasons, the biggest reason being that Social Security is a pyramid scheme and bankrupt (but we will not talk about that).

Here are some free market solutions to this new manufactured Hartford's Omnipotent One Party Rule crisis.
Cut state taxes so that taxpayers who actually work for a living would have more money to save and invest for their retirements (which are hopefully out of Connecticut). Yes cut state taxes. Cut taxes as much as possible. Reduce state government at the same time. Stop micromanaging every aspect of a taxpayer's life here in the state of economics lasts in the country.
However, it is another day here in Connecticut, land of economic lasts. The windows of economic opportunity continue to close daily here in Connecticut, land of economic lasts.
Stop spending taxpayer's monies in these ridiculous programs.
