“We're strong because we still believe in a bedrock principle: We are a government of, by, and for the people, not the other way around. And we're strong because we know that true greatness begins with the deepest treasures of the human spirit, with faith and courage, with loyalty and love, with a quiet, unselfish devotion to our families, our neighbors, and our nation.” President Ronald Reagan August 19, 1984, the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia

Connecticut: The Debt Creating Capital of the World
What is Connecticut best known for? Some may say pizza. Some may say the Elm Tree. Others may say the Charter Oak. But in more recent times, Connecticut has a strong history of debt, debt spending, borrowing and massive unfunded liabilities ever since the implementation of Lowell Weicker's "cure-all" state income tax in 1991. At that time, the state was running a large budget deficit and according to Weicker the only way out was to increase taxes in the middle of a recession through the implementation of a progressive state income tax. At the time of that deadly decision, the population in Connecticut was approximately 3.29 million and the state budget was roughly $7.9 billion dollars. In 2026, the population in Connecticut is approximately 3.6 million. The state budget is going to be roughly $28 billion dollars. Therefore, in a 35-year period, Connecticut has increased state spending by over 300 percentage points with roughly the same amount of population. As time has marched on, the state income tax has increased over the years and is the mainline Heroin that elected officials use to continue to fuel their addiction to socialism type spending and never-ending debt and unfunded liabilities.
What does Connecticut have to show for this spending? Trees? Pizza? Basketball? Crime? Illegal migrants? Nothing, other than poor results, Connecticut ranks continually last and or in the bottom five of many business and economic categories. Connecticut ranks as one of the highest taxed states in the country along with having one of the highest electric rates in the country. Contrary to the spin that has been placed, Connecticut still has between $100 and $150 billion dollars in short- and long-term debt along with massive unfunded liabilities. These same unfunded liabilities are difficult to trace and account for but that is the norm for how Connecticut's state government works since the 1990s with tons and tons of obfuscation and no transparency. But who cares? As politicians decry fiscal mismanagement and the mortal sin of straying from the “fiscal guardrails” we see a new $10 billion dollar "bipartisan" bonding package (H.B. No. 7288) that just passed in the current legislative session in the spirit of unity, cooperation, and general welfare. (https://ctmirror.org/2025/06/04/ct-bond-package-local-aid-housing/) .
Here are just some of the items that are further heaping you and your loved ones into perpetual indentured servitude to the Pizza Capital of The World:
Alterations, renovations, and improvements to parking garages in Hartford (where no one wants to go)- $10 million dollars.
Grant in aid to the municipality of East Hartford for the purposes of “general economic development” activities-$30 million dollars.
Grant in aid to the municipality of East Hartford for the purposes of general economic development activities, including the development of the infrastructure and improvements to the riverfront the creation of housing units, through rehabilitation and new construction the demolition or redevelopment of vacant buildings and redevelopment (whatever that all may mean)- $20 million dollars.
Recapitalize CII programs Grant in aid to recapitalize the programs of Connecticut Innovations Inc described in chapter 581 of the general statutes- $20 million dollars. (Translation: Connecticut Innovations, the "Venture Capital Arm" of Connecticut, and one-time investor in "Sema4, is losing its collective shirt and needs more of your taxpayer money to keep the boiler room fires burning).
Alterations, renovations, and improvements to existing state-owned buildings for inmate housing programming and staff training space and additional inmate capacity and for support facilities and offsite improvements- $125 million dollars.
Manufacturing Assistance Act (“MAA”) Economic Development and Manufacturing Assistance Act of 1990 and the CT job training finance demonstration program- $450 million dollars.
Cannabis Establishment Loans (for us to see your tax dollars vanish in a smoky, green haze)- $50 million dollars.
Nonprofit Security, (so you can trust the State of Connecticut to protect your house of worship like it protects everything else)- $30 million dollars.
Grants in aid to provide matching funds necessary for municipalities school districts and school bus operators to submit federal grant applications in order to maximize federal funding for the purchase or lease of zero emission school buses (that cannot start in the cold and that just might stop dead on a winter’s day with your child on one) and electric vehicle charging or fueling infrastructure- $40 million dollars
Multi Family Retrofitting Projects in Environmental Justice Communities- $125 million dollars.
The list that I have quoted from is 20 pages long, with each recipient of funding being more quizzical and ridiculous than the next. Absolutely nothing is held back as Connecticut's march to economic oblivion using these bonded projects, continues. Any sane person would wonder as to why Connecticut is now spending over $28 billion dollars and is also forced to bond almost $10 billion more this fiscal year . In addition, it is a sure bet that Connecticut will show little to no economic improvement by the end of year, even with this massive amount of money being spent. But again, who cares? Just look serious, crow about “the necessity of the fiscal guardrails,” and hock out citizens blind with largely irrelevant and fatuous self-aggrandizing projects, over half of which will show nothing tangible. Yet the spending just continues unabated. There is never a mention of cutting spending and or a plan of action to start paying down an unrealistic state debt for a state as small as Connecticut. Meanwhile, additional debt is just loaded on the back on Connecticut taxpayers as the chasm between the state-connected haves, and the ordinary “have not” citizen, grows even deeper.
Connecticut Democrats have done an incredible job of burying citizens in needless debt for close to four decades. Meanwhile, Republicans, who frankly could and should know better, have compounded the felony by confirming the error of Democrats in such a horrible bill as H.B. No. 7288 in an act of purported "bipartisanship". Nothing here is to be celebrated, and all should hang their heads in shame while the fewer and fewer remaining legitimate taxpayers of the state struggle to make the “have’s” have more, once again.

The Greatest Foe of Affordability Is The Connecticut Government And Its Ruling Elite
What is the root cause of this American “affordability crisis” we hear so much about these days? The truth lies in something no Democrat wants you to know. The affordability crisis started in the 2020 election of the incompetent and incontinent President Joe Biden in a highly suspect election that laid bare the very integrity of our democratic processes. After this election rigging, decent Americans were horrified by seeing four years of reckless spending sprees, incompetent DEI personnel picks, economic bungling, the shutdown of the Keystone Pipeline and the arrogant and reckless policy of open borders. All these grievous and sickening errors ignited an inflationary inferno that scorched the pockets of everyday families, as groceries, gas, and housing became luxuries only the elite could afford without a second thought. After his 2024 election, President Donald J. Trump set his mind to undo this economic disaster, as the irrational and insane fight bitterly every day against him while he deals with the affordability crisis they themselves created.
But what exactly is this concept of “Affordability”? Affordability is defined as “able to be afforded: having a cost that is not too high.” For Connecticut taxpayers, the definition of affordability seems to be a constantly moving target as interpreted by the delusional ruling elite. Before President Trump was elected in 2024 we listened daily to the nonsensical blather of hopeless functional incompetents such as Karinne Jean-Pierre and Kamala Harris tell us that “Bidenomics is working” or “Inflation is under control” while it is more than evident the affordability conditions then were far worse than now. But as readers of my column know, the rules of fact and common sense do not apply to the delusional ruling elite.
But let’s drill down on Connecticut affordability. Does affordability in Connecticut mean that the Democrat Connecticut state government dictates to its legal and illegal citizens what they can and cannot have? Does affordability mean that the Democrat Connecticut state government builds housing and then dictates how much rent can be charged? Does affordability mean that the Democrat Connecticut state government can control all zoning in the state (as seen in HB 8002), and you, dear citizen, can screw off? Does affordability mean that the Democrat Connecticut state government will start running state-run grocery stores? Does affordability mean that the Democrat Connecticut state government will now insure all drivers in the state, since car insurance has increased dramatically due to the massive amount of car thefts and road takeovers over the past five years, and insurance companies no longer want the risks of insuring a lawless state? Does affordability mean that the Democrat Connecticut state government continues to use Connecticut taxpayers’ money to pick and choose economic winners via its non-transparent and malignant Department of Community and Economic Development ("DECD") or its taxpayer-paid penny stock "boiler room" operation known as "Connecticut Innovations?"
Like their incompetent predecessors in the Biden regime, the concept of Connecticut’s “affordability” is a vague construct by the Connecticut Democrat Party, their state-run media and attendant state-paid media image consultants. Here are some real economic facts showing that Connecticut is not affordable to work and live in: The first problem area is naturally, taxes. The state has one of the highest state and local property taxes in the country. High state sales tax, user and license fees, and excessive business taxes in every way, shape, and form continue to burden Connecticut taxpayers to the point of no return. I have stated numerous times: why does a state as small as Connecticut spend over $26 billion a year in its budget? Needless to say, no one on the state food chain would dare admit that a reduction of state spending would increase affordability for citizens because preservation of their bureaucracy takes precedence over the citizen, (and why has that not sunken in by now?)
But let’s move down the line. Please look at what Connecticut taxpayers pay for state employee salaries, benefits, and pensions, as it should astound any working person in the state. The state spends a mere $6 billion a year in pension payments; that does not consider the future unfunded liabilities of the state pension system. Connecticut already has $100 to $150 billion in short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities. What is the plan to pay off this debt? There is none, and never has been one as just about everyone in political land chortles about the need for the “fiscal guardrails”, which “fiscal guardrails” do not take into account this bulbous and unsustainable amount of legacy debts and liabilities.

News Flash: Connecticut Has A Bad And Incompetent Government
Something is very obvious in Connecticut. Connecticut has a bad and incompetent government. Bad in the sense that it no longer represents its constituents. It no longer represents right versus wrong, truth versus lie, and fact versus fiction. It has produced many different incoherent, blabbering pieces of rhetoric to keep up a fictional lie of how well Connecticut is governed by the Connecticut Democrat Party. And the tipping point has been reached for Connecticut Taxpayers who are now seeing through the charade.
Connecticut has had bad government for many years, but ever since the devastation and oppression of the Covid-19 regime, the acceleration from bad to abysmal has become much more acute. Finger pointing has been perfected to an art form in the state by the Democrat Party. But have no fear. The Democrat Party takes no responsibility for the issues that are facing Connecticut in 2025, but of course, it never has.
The Horrors of Bad Government in Connecticut include (but are not limited to),
Excessively high local and state taxes inhibiting economic growth and economic and personal freedoms.
Excessively high insurance costs for auto insurance due to the rampant thefts and hijackings of vehicles, especially by repeat offenders along with the horrific mismanagement of residential crimes and the mishandling of natural disasters.
Excessively prohibitive costs of doing business in the state due to a myriad of complex rules, regulations and laws that increase the costs of doing business in the state and eliminate profitability for small businesses. (And as a tutorial of things to come with respect to the impending and disastrous "bipartisan" mismanagement of Artificial Intelligence for state businesses, please watch my friend Tony De Angelo’ THIRTY WITH TONY show of May 22, 2025, dealing with the horrors of “Senate Bill 2”
THE SHOW STUPID POLITICIAN TRICKS PART 2 THIRTY WITH TONY 5 22 2025 )
A constant illegal drug problem further exaggerated by the legalization and taxation of marijuana, while “psychedelic mushrooms” are moving from the on-deck circle to the batter’s box as the next legal drug of choice.
The state's takeover of local zoning laws and regulations. (Communities be damned).
Fiscal guardrails that are shunned and destroyed by the Democrat Party.
No acknowledgement whatsoever of the 100 to 150 Billion Dollars of short- and long-term liabilities and unfunded liabilities weighing on the state. (Hint: The celebrated and oft-repeated Fiscal Guardrails do not even touch this grievous liability).
The state’s complete lack of transparency in how and why it governs and lack of disclosure of whosoever else may be involved.
A state ethics department that one would compliment to call it a joke.
The continuing saga of the legal and ethical quagmire of Governor Lamont, the self-deals of the Lamont family, and the highly questionable (and non-transparent) dealings of First Lady Ann Lamont in matters of state government.
Term limits, spending caps, administrative salary reductions, and an overhaul of state laws/regulations and ethical politicians would be a great start in ending Connecticut's bad government. But in a state that has veered this excessively to the socialist left it is not possible. Or is it? Time will tell as the stale incoherent leftists and their incoherent and incompetent rhetoric fall on the deaf ears of the Connecticut Taxpayers and they start to scream loudly about this mockery masquerading as government.

The Steady Habits Of Crime And Incompetence In King Ned Lamont The Unaccountable's Connecticut
Do you disagree? Allow me to share a serious case in point being an amazing article that was actually published by the left-leaning Hartford Courant concerning a crime that could have been avoided. The alleged criminal Franklin Post, 35 years old, apparently sped through a stop sign in Griswold, CT and killed Charlotte Degrado, 96, of Branford, who was an occupant in the car that he hit. According to the article, Post has at least a dozen criminal convictions and has at least ten more criminal cases pending against him. He has served hard time in prison on three different occasions. He was free on bond even though he has been arrested six times since January. Inexplicably, he has had the ability to post $275,000 in bonds. (https://www.courant.com/2024/06/13/court-files-show-ct-driver-suspected-in-crash-that-killed-96-year-old-woman-has-long-criminal-record) Post also has repeatedly violated his probations, and this time fled after the accident. "Troopers found drug paraphernalia and a knife inside of the Audi, according to Connecticut State Police. Witnesses told authorities that three people inside of the vehicle had gotten out after the crash and ran away...His GPS ankle device had been tampered with, he had pills that tested positive for fentanyl and had more than $4,000 in cash on him."(https://www.wtnh.com/news/connecticut/new-london/serious-injuries-reported-after-griswold-crash)
Based on all of Post’s prior convictions, violations of probation, and ostensible drug use, why was this man free to be allowed to murder this 96-year-old innocent woman by his vehicle? In a stark, staring testimony to the total lack of professionalism and integrity of the administrative state in Connecticut, how is it even possible that he maintained his driver's license? Why was he walking free in numerous violations of his probation? These questions need to be answered immediately, if not sooner.
It is evident that the Connecticut Democrat Party and its assorted facilitators and enablers have little to no concern whatsoever about public safety in the state. Spending just a few minutes driving on a state highway, or in any of the sparkling cities and inner-ring suburbs in Connecticut will tell anyone that. Connecticut is at such a state of disaster that even a prominent state legislator referred to it this past week as a “laughingstock”. Where no real and productive job creating business would ever venture to come into the state, we are instead treated to The Unaccountable’s self-serving visions of “Innovation Clusters” benefiting his family interests. But none of that matters, as more weighty issues concern the left like lowering the prison population and making everyone unsafe except for the career criminals and crime gangs that roam freely in the state as they are now coddled and protected by the left. Car insurance costs on the state have skyrocketed due to the constant theft of vehicles in the state and the abysmal traffic enforcement on state highways and roads. Juvenile delinquents roam free to steal with no fear of any type of legal action due to the dysfunctional and defective state legal system that apparently will not prosecute them. Retail store costs of shoplifting continue to climb with costs being passed on to you and I as legitimate customers. Blatant crime exists with thefts of anything and everything in the state, from being held up while trying to put your groceries in your car, from pumping gas, and even now with you a law-abiding citizen sitting in your home being at risk of intruders breaking in.
One can only hope that Degrado family takes all possible legal avenues against the state judicial system, its judges, probation officers, defense lawyers and state elected officials to expose and hold them liable for their actions for the death of their family member. Yes, it is high time that our highly paid and serially unaccountable Connecticut administrative system hold responsibility as well along with the criminal in this case for their careless and negligent attitude in handling this career criminal. Yet another innocent life is lost due to the crime spree that exists in "Crime Free Democrat Connecticut", for no reason at all except for the stupidity of a politically correct non-functioning judicial system. A system that helps to buy votes evermore for a horrific social experiment that is now at a point of no return to a once proud and productive state, called Connecticut.

Deja Vu All Over Again. Part 3. A Taxpayer Never Gets a Break in The Land of Steady Habits
Connecticut is a state known by many names. The Nutmeg State. The Gateway to New England. The Constitution State. But perhaps the most apt name for Connecticut over the past few decades is the Land of Steady Habits. This name is incredibly apt and deserved as the steadiest of habits for Connecticut has been its insatiable desire to tax, to spend, and to add to its bulbous and inept Administrative State in grotesque proportions. Again, Taxpayer be damned.
Week in and week out and year and year out, Connecticut Taxpayers do not get a break from paying excessive, new, and higher taxes coupled with the daily fear of crime and having their vehicles broken into and or stolen. The Legislative session of 2024 arrogantly signaled to Connecticut Taxpayers that there will be no respite from paying excessive, new and higher taxes any time soon, and no respite from living with the daily fear of crime and/or having their vehicles broken into and or stolen. Rather, Connecticut Taxpayers received more of the same in review of just some of the brutal bills that will end up costing Connecticut Taxpayers more in taxes and the costs of goods and services they must purchase, thanks to the arrogant Connecticut Democrat Party.
As discussed last week, the horrific HB 5431 "AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE STABILIZATION SUPPORT AND ARPA REPLACEMENT FUND" did indeed pass. Unbelievably, it does mandate for Connecticut Taxpayers to pay for unemployment benefits for striking workers. Why did this pass? Why has the definition of being unemployed changed? Further, why does the burden in the Land of Steady Habits never shift from off the backs of the private sector and small business?
But unfortunately, the oppression does not stop there. These same beleaguered small businesses will now see increased costs from HB 5005 "AN ACT STUDYING PAID SICK DAYS" that expands the types of employees that receive annual paid sick leave. It will also gratuitously expand the definition of “family members” for family leave purposes. This Act will also increase the rate at which leave accrues and broaden the diverse ways leave days can be used. These changes will of course cause an increase in the costs of operating a business which will only be passed on to consumers in the form of higher costs for goods and services. Again, why is there yet one other job-killing business-hostile policy lifted on to the backs of tired and poor taxpayers and small businesses? Yet one is supposed to believe that this Democrat Party-driven policy is a great benefit and blessing to the masses, and the shrinking coffers of the private sector can be damned.
Of course, in Connecticut’s Land of Steady Habits there are never (ever) any proposals from the legislature to lower taxes, cut, cap and end pensions, eliminate "quasi-public" organizations, or to otherwise shrink and streamline the Connecticut Administrative State. But predictably, we see the opposite. As a matter of social justice and right, several bills were brought forth demanding new and higher taxes and or increases in capital gains. After all, this is the Land of Steady Habits! It is the habitual hissing and popping of a broken record, repeating and repeating the same old refrain. More of what we have heard about for the past 34 years. More money will solve all of Connecticut's social ills (like crime), more money is needed for failing schools, more money is needed for underpaid Connecticut state unionized employees, more money is needed for the big, dangerous and corrupt cities such as Bridgeport and New Haven. The list is always endless, and the results are always horrific since nothing is ever mentioned in the state-run media about The Land of Steady Habits having $100 to $150 billion dollars in short- and long-term debt along with a myriad of unfunded liabilities.
What do Connecticut Taxpayers really get for a $26 billion dollar plus yearly budget? What do Connecticut Taxpayers really receive for over $100 to $150 billion dollars in short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities? Connecticut can't declare bankruptcy. It should, given its current insolvent economic state that has grown worse since the establishment of the Utopian cure-all state income tax. No matter how much your income is, you will never pay enough in taxes. No matter how much your taxes increase they will never keep up with the massive social ills, waste, and the increasing and crony driven Administrative State in The Land of Steady Habits that just keeps getting bigger and bigger year-in and year-out.
Taxpayers never get a break in Connecticut, but rather will be broken. The Democrat Party of The Land of Steady Habits will make sure of that forever.

Reality-Based Solutions for Eliminating Crime in Crime-Free Democrat Connecticut
There truly are solutions to the crime wave in the state. However, these solutions do not conform to the Socialist Connecticut Democrat Party agenda of destroying any sense of personal or economic freedom and police protection under an incoherent judicial system using weak laws governing crime and theft. But if unserious and woke Connecticut ever chose to be serious about crime, here are several solutions that would start to take the bite of out crime in the state.
Car theft: For the few individuals who are arrested for this crime, bail should not be offered and/or offered at a $1,000,000. or more, value. A sub court system could immediately be created, offering 24-hour hearings and subsequent charges/convictions. First offense sentences for car theft would no longer be thrown out and/or probationary. A one-year prison term with no time suspended would be mandatory. Each additional offense would add 6 months more to the one-year term. Therefore, if a criminal has already been convicted with five thefts under these new laws, he or she would serve 30 months in prison with no time suspended. With this law, the owner of the vehicle stolen, and insurance companies would have a greater ability to fast track or attach any property or wages of the criminal for monetary damages of the value of the car no matter how expensive or inexpensive it was. Sounds harsh? That is the idea. It is, and it might possibly make some criminals think twice about stealing cars.
Robbery of an individual: There are robberies of distracted and defenseless women have their wallets/pocketbooks stolen after placing their groceries in their cars. Shoplifting is rampant as well. For the few individuals who are arrested for these crimes, bail should be offered and or offered at a $1,000,000 or more value. Again, first offense sentences for robbery would no longer be thrown out and/or be probationary. A one-year prison term with no time suspended would be the minimum. Multiple offenses would add 6 months more to the one- year term. Victims of robbery would be able to sue the criminal for their losses and/or medical treatments generated during the crime, while retail stores/shops would be able to sue for monetary losses of the merchandise stolen.
Murder: Murder takes away another person's life. Many innocent people have been murdered, especially by drive by shootings. Do their lives matter? Does it make any difference if they are Black lives? Or Asian lives? Or white lives? No lives matter in Crime-Free Democrat Connecticut. Life in prison does not seem to defer murder in the state. The death penalty should be restated.
Who pays the costs of these crimes? We do, of course, through higher retail store prices and much higher auto insurance rates due to the onslaught of these criminal activities. Crime in Connecticut is at all time high even though the massaged "statistics" show otherwise. The Connecticut Democrat Party has been in denial of this for many years. A local election is in a few weeks in the state. In Democrat-run towns and cities, crime seems to be a forbidden topic to discuss. Of course, there the pleas for the usual choir of more money will solve all the problems of any Democrat run city. But when you look at Bridgeport which is a cesspool of corruption, New Haven that is a tale of two cities and Taxpayer-supported Chicago-aspiring Hartford, nothing has changed over the years. They are still vast economic wastelands that nurture a hopeless economic future for those trapped living there. So called “leaders” cannot make the painful decisions to say “No” to the complete political failures of years of omnipotent Democrat-driven rule and deception. Maybe voters should really think about why the state's Democrat Party really can't solve any problem whatsoever, especially crime, while they figure out new ways to rip off the Taxpayer who must live in fear in any activity he or she may do.
Crime can be solved. It takes ethics, leadership, and respect for human life. It also takes courage, which is an especially scarce commodity in all areas of Connecticut government. It does not take another "crime task force" However lets be clear. The major player in this sick psychodrama is the Corrupt Unethical Connecticut Democrat Party. They own this self-made crime crisis in the state.

The Lack of Accountability in Today's Government
One thing that I can no longer tolerate is the blatant disregard for accountability, ethics, laws, rules, and truth that many elected politicians and appointed officials have for their office and their constituents. At all levels of government, day in and day out, corruption, lies, and theft are passed off as normal. Cheerleaders and activists calling themselves “journalists” work in tandem with newscasters from the state-run media to support this debacle with their nonsensical incoherent gibberish packaged as “news reporting” in order to help support government policies.
On a federal level, the continued failures of the Democrat Biden Administration are seen daily, regardless of how hard these “media partners” work to try to conceal them. Our economy is in grave trouble with runaway inflation, a massive loss of economic and retiree wealth, a loss of real purchasing power due to runaway inflation, and a massive increase in personal debt due to inflation. Inflation is a tax whether the Democrat Party believes it or not. The United States has a border crisis with untold millions of illegal immigrants walking through our unsecured and porous border. American Taxpayers get to support these individuals through massive social welfare programs. The new energy crisis of our Pathetic President has increased all energy costs for Americans due to his irrational hatred of fossil fuels and energy independence for our country. We now must surrender our dependable gasoline powered cars for Utopian electric vehicles in the name of environmental lunacy and irrationality.
We now have a national security crisis evidenced by the horrific and deadly pull out from Afghanistan, the untold economic support given to our enemy Iran, and now the horrific nightmare unfolding for Israel where innocent Americans were murdered in cold blood. Crime in America is the norm with the victim of a crime being viewed as the criminal and the criminal being the victim. It is undeniable that America has turned into a hell hole of Democrat Party induced violence, crime, murder, and theft.
On a state level, Connecticut's march to socialism continues unabated under the reign of His Royal Con-Man, the corrupt and unaccountable Democrat King Ned Lamont. The King is continually lauded and embraced by the star-blinded state-run media followers. We see enormous of profit made in spectacular fashion by a Democrat Governor and his humble wife through their hedge fund through unquestioned investments in companies that were given via Connecticut Taxpayers funds to do whatever they wished with the cash, and with no oversight or accountability. There are still no answers given to the issues and involvements with Sema-4, Digital Currency Group, and its affiliates, ADVANCECT, Boston Consulting Group, UNITE US, Mt. Sinai Genomics, McKinsey and the Lamont-based Cayman Islands shell companies, inter-alia. There is no transparency as well for Ned Lamont and his robber barons.
Crime is non- stop in the state, as daily car thefts, robberies and muggings are the new normal for Connecticut taxpayers. And please do not bother Democrats in the state about having a constitutional right to defend yourself, for you, the law-abiding citizen, are the problem. Just continue to give away your private property to the career thieves of the state, and shut up and enjoy it.
On
a local
level, Democrat run cities are sewers of economic and social ruin and
despair with
open air drug dens, daily murders, and much more social rot and decay
than one
could ever have imagined. Democrat City District Attorneys have
forgotten
what laws are and mean, as their only concern is to damn all things
Republican, Conservative, or Judeo-Christian. Throw in the fact that
your vote does
not count as you see with the Bridgeport voting scandal. while all is
hailed as
wonderful in that socially decaying and sad city that Taxpayers
support.
Politicians at all levels of government must stop ripping off their constituents by forcing them to fund this destruction of our country. Accountability is lost at all levels of government. News reporting must become truthful and objective again instead of being a force fed biased liberal brainwashing of anything that stands in the way of a perfect socialist Marxist utopia. America needs true ethical political leaders to emerge again at all levels of government. The political swamp and cesspool of corruption and lies needs to be drained, once and for all. With too many things happening in this world, Taxpayers need to de-fund this garbage dump called government.
Americans are truly tired of being ripped off by politicians. The ruling elite ignores this fact as it is 1776 all over again.

The Serious Problems of Unserious Democrat Connecticut
Ned Lamont's Democrat Connecticut has many serious problems. Economically, the state has lost a great deal of major businesses and corporate taxpayers that have moved to lower taxed and better-run states. Aetna, General Electric, Edible Arrangements, Pepperidge Farms, MassMutual, Unilever, UTC, Carrier, Lego, Frontier, Stag Arms, and Alexion Pharmaceuticals are just few of the companies that have moved out. Quality jobs are hard to come by, even though Ned Lamont's Democrat Connecticut has funneled plenty of money to his “winners” in his family's hedge fund. Connecticut Taxpayers still have no official answers as to investments made and Lamont relationships with Sema-4, Digital Currency Group and its affiliates, ADVANCECT, 4-CT, Boston Consulting Group, Digital Currency Group, UNITE US, Mt. Sinai Genomics, McKinsey and the bulbous Ned Lamont-connected Cayman Islands Limited Partnerships that remain a secret via a huge blanket of cover from state-run media. Connecticut's economy constantly trails the rest of the country due to high taxes, high state debt, high workers compensation insurance costs, a poor infrastructure and rampant crime all being factors.
Pervasive voter fraud enabled by the insecure and comical "ballot boxes" spread throughout the state nurture the feelings that your vote really does not count in Connecticut, especially in Bridgeport. How difficult is it to investigate ballot fraud in Bridgeport? Ostensibly it is exceedingly difficult since fraud is still being investigated from 2019. The Democrat Ganim regime must control the city at all costs! The latest ballot stuffing incident is apparently no big deal. Restating what I wrote from last week: Connecticut's unserious Democrat Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas condescendingly stated that: "This situation is not about partisan politics, it’s not about a broken electoral system. This isn’t even about absentee ballot systems,” Thomas said. “It’s about a few bad actors and an undereducated electorate.” (https://insideinvestigator.org/sots-bridgeport-ballot-scandal-result-of-bad-actors-and-under-educated-electorate) Yes voters! You are considered uneducated since your vote obviously does not count in Bridgeport unless you vote for the corrupted Democrat machine! I am confident that this current ballot fraud will be swept away again, and Joe Ganim and his pattern of incoherent gibberish will be able to do two more years of damage to the city. It is a serious problem that is not treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.
Crime in Connecticut is at all time high even though "statistics" show otherwise. Connecticut Taxpayers must live in constant fear of stolen cars, (some even at gunpoint), robberies after placing their groceries in their cars, home invasions, murder in cold blood as innocent bystanders, bank robberies, constant shoplifting in retail stores and much more. Even new books from public libraries are being stolen. Criminal convictions are down, as there seems to be no sense of urgency to convict criminals especially juvenile delinquents who in some cases are already career criminals. Who pays the costs of these crimes? Connecticut taxpayers will of course through higher retail store prices and much higher auto insurance rates. Legal private property rights seem to be outdated. And do not forget the shortages and de-funding of police departments. Criminals are the victims, and the victims are treated as the criminals. All are serious problems that are not treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.
Debt is still an overwhelming issue in the state. Swept under the rug and no longer mentioned is the massive, short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities of anywhere from $100 to $125 billion dollars. State spending increases each year with no accountability and/ or positive economic results. More cronies and hangers-on appear every week in state government. It is a serious problem that is not treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.
There are many serious problems in Connecticut. In most cases they are ignored, dismissed as being irrelevant, shunned, and forgotten about in the perfidious regime of His Royal Con-Man, King Ned Lamont, The Unaccountable. Unpaid citizen journalists giving their honest best are admonished, berated, and reprimanded for bringing up the daily news of crime, corruption, and the general lack of ethics our elected officials have in the state. There are serious problems that will never be treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party. They do not want to acknowledge the decay, filth and rot they turned Connecticut into as it fast approaches the new dynamics of 1776 all over again.

Back in November 2020, Things Were Different
You are better off than you were in November 2020. You did not realize that. You, as a Taxpayer are apparently not thankful that you are dealing with a massive amount of economic and social problems that the Connecticut Democrat Party along with their Corrupt Democrat President help to create over the past three years. That said, how ungrateful can you be?
Back in November 2020 you did not have runaway inflation creating both a massive loss of middle class and senior citizen wealth in the country. This loss causes many Americans to go deeper and deeper into debt since the costs of energy, food, housing, interest rates and insurances have gone up by an incredible amount. Consumer and business debt is at an all-time high with the possibilities of many bankruptcies occurring in the near future. Those on fixed incomes do not have any room for economic error since this runaway inflation. But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020. You do not realize that?
Back in November 2020 you did not have unchecked and rampant illegal immigration taking place at the border. You had an orderly process of applications and procedures for an individual to apply to get into our country. It is clear that there are stronger screening processes taking place at our airports when legal citizens fly, as compared to illegals at the border. Today it is acceptable whether you a criminal, cartel member, human/drug trafficker, and or terrorist you are now welcomed with open arms and Taxpayer money to enjoy a new reign of terror on our country compliments of the failed Democrat Biden Presidency. Just look at the disaster in Texas. Just look at the sickening squalor of Democrat-run Sanctuary cities in our country like San Francisco, Chicago, New York City and Boston. But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020. You don't realize that?
Back in November 2020 you did not have unchecked crime and murders in your communities. You did not have underage and unlicensed juvenile delinquents stealing your autos on a daily basis in Connecticut and many other Democrat run communities. You did not have a 12- year- old juvenile delinquent stealing a vehicle in Bridgeport, CT as was experienced this past week. Your Democrat run cities did not have unaccountable shootings and murders committed with illegal guns. The costs to Taxpayers are enormous for this crime as injured victims walk into hospitals getting treatments paid for by government in most cases, and your home and car insurance continues to increase to offset the enormous number of claims made by the innocent victims of these crimes. You are not safe even in broad daylight doing grocery shopping as hit and run drive by criminals work their beats. Police have become the enemies while the criminal is treated as victim. Moral and law-abiding citizens and Taxpayers are the criminals now. But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020. You don't realize that?
Back in November 2020 you did not have to worry about having your child taken away from you nor be informed on what was going on in their school life by their school officials, especially with respect to gender changes. Today, you no longer have control and parental rights over your children. Many schools wish to hide sex changes and any personal information on their children from their parents. When and why did this happen? But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020. You don't realize that?
Back in November 2020 you did not have to worry about your President or Vice President selling their offices for financial gain. Today the overwhelming evidence against President Biden, his son, and the Biden family in basically selling United States policies and influence with foreign peddlers for their own personal financial gain has been ignored, discredited, and covered up by law enforcement officials, government agencies and the state-run media. But the Democrat Party and the same state-run media wishes for you to believe that President Trump and the constant lawsuits thrown at him are justified in our fast becoming "Banana Republic" judicial system that ignores our Constitution. Taxpayers work for government officials for their financial gain. You don't realize that?
You don’t realize that?

Crime Free Democrat Connecticut
Connecticut in the opinion of many, is a mess. It has massive economic issues including, but not limited to, a massive short and long term debt situation along with unfunded liabilities of roughly $150 billion dollars. It overtaxes its Taxpayers and is ranked as one of the highest taxed states in the country. It still lags in most economic categories, and is never able to get out of its recessionary malaise. It has a poor business environment, and attracts no business except in the cases of a CT DECD bribe payment being made. It has a decaying road and bridge infrastructure even though it spends a massive amount of money in supposed and/or redundant repairs. It has serial and shameless corruption in its state government. Nor does it have any transparency in its state government, nor does the minority Republican Party have any meaningful input in legislation or the budget process.

Connecticut's Democrat Logic. It Does Not Exist.
Logic is an interesting word. Logic is defined as: "a particular way of thinking, especially one that is reasonable and based on good judgment". Logic is my opinion seems to be in short supply in Connecticut for many years now. The lack of logic is quite explainable especially since Connecticut is run exclusively for and by the Connecticut Democrat Party and its assorted enablers. The Connecticut Democrat Party continues to help make the state rank at (and/or) near the bottom of the country in most economic categories, while having some of the highest taxes in the country. It helps to make crime a massive problem in the state. It helps to make businesses move out of the state. It greatly helps to create a net migration of population out of the state.
