The Serious Problems of Unserious Democrat Connecticut

Ned Lamont's Democrat Connecticut has many serious problems.  Economically, the state has lost a great deal of major businesses and corporate taxpayers that have moved to lower taxed and better-run states.  Aetna, General Electric, Edible Arrangements, Pepperidge Farms, MassMutual, Unilever, UTC, Carrier, Lego, Frontier, Stag Arms, and Alexion Pharmaceuticals are just few of the companies that have moved out.  Quality jobs are hard to come by, even though Ned Lamont's Democrat Connecticut has funneled plenty of money to his “winners” in his family's hedge fund.  Connecticut Taxpayers still have no official answers as to investments made and Lamont relationships with Sema-4, Digital Currency Group and its affiliates, ADVANCECT, 4-CT, Boston Consulting Group, Digital Currency Group, UNITE US, Mt. Sinai Genomics, McKinsey and the bulbous Ned Lamont-connected Cayman Islands Limited Partnerships that remain a secret via a huge blanket of cover from state-run media.  Connecticut's economy constantly trails the rest of the country due to high taxes, high state debt, high workers compensation insurance costs, a poor infrastructure and rampant crime all being factors. 

Money is serially thrown at businesses that are politically connected with no accountability whatsoever as to repayments of loans. This past budget featured over $823 million dollars spent for "economic development".  Connecticut does not have practically anything to show for almost $1 billion dollars being spent by the (should-be-abolished) CT Department of Economic and Community Development.   This is a serious problem that is not treated at all as serious by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.

Pervasive voter fraud enabled by the insecure and comical "ballot boxes" spread throughout the state nurture the feelings that your vote really does not count in Connecticut, especially in Bridgeport.  How difficult is it to investigate ballot fraud in Bridgeport?  Ostensibly it is exceedingly difficult since fraud is still being investigated from 2019.  The Democrat Ganim regime must control the city at all costs!  The latest ballot stuffing incident is apparently no big deal.  Restating what I wrote from last week: Connecticut's unserious Democrat Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas condescendingly stated that: "This situation is not about partisan politics, it’s not about a broken electoral system. This isn’t even about absentee ballot systems,” Thomas said. “It’s about a few bad actors and an undereducated electorate.” (https://insideinvestigator.org/sots-bridgeport-ballot-scandal-result-of-bad-actors-and-under-educated-electorate)  Yes voters! You are considered uneducated since your vote obviously does not count in Bridgeport unless you vote for the corrupted Democrat machine!  I am confident that this current ballot fraud will be swept away again, and Joe Ganim and his pattern of incoherent gibberish will be able to do two more years of damage to the city.  It is a serious problem that is not treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.

Crime in Connecticut is at all time high even though "statistics" show otherwise.   Connecticut Taxpayers must live in constant fear of stolen cars, (some even at gunpoint), robberies after placing their groceries in their cars, home invasions, murder in cold blood as innocent bystanders, bank robberies, constant shoplifting in retail stores and much more.  Even new books from public libraries are being stolen. Criminal convictions are down, as there seems to be no sense of urgency to convict criminals especially juvenile delinquents who in some cases are already career criminals.  Who pays the costs of these crimes?  Connecticut taxpayers will of course through higher retail store prices and much higher auto insurance rates.  Legal private property rights seem to be outdated.  And do not forget the shortages and de-funding of police departments.  Criminals are the victims, and the victims are treated as the criminals.  All are serious problems that are not treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.

Debt is still an overwhelming issue in the state.  Swept under the rug and no longer mentioned is the massive, short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities of anywhere from $100 to $125 billion dollars.  State spending increases each year with no accountability and/ or positive economic results. More cronies and hangers-on appear every week in state government. It is a serious problem that is not treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.

There are many serious problems in Connecticut.  In most cases they are ignored, dismissed as being irrelevant, shunned, and forgotten about in the perfidious regime of His Royal Con-Man, King Ned Lamont, The Unaccountable.  Unpaid citizen journalists giving their honest best are admonished, berated, and reprimanded for bringing up the daily news of crime, corruption, and the general lack of ethics our elected officials have in the state.  There are serious problems that will never be treated at all as such by the unserious Connecticut Democrat Party.  They do not want to acknowledge the decay, filth and rot they turned Connecticut into as it fast approaches the new dynamics of 1776 all over again.

Election Fraud Runs Rampant in Connecticut

Bridgeport is a sad state of affairs, which is a shame given its natural assets and location.  It has high taxes, a mountain of debt and a high crime rate.   Its current Mayor, Joe Ganim, was convicted in 2003 on a mere sixteen corruption charges, including racketeering, extortion, bribery, and mail fraud, and he served seven years in prison.  Not to be outdone and apparently to do more damage to the crime free city, Ganim became Mayor again in 2015 pretty much picking up where he left off.   During 2018-19, five municipal employees under Ganim were arrested.  Police chief Armando Perez and personnel director David Dunn were charged in September 2018 for conspiring to help Perez cheat to get the police chief position. The two were convicted and sentenced.  In May 2019, State Senator Dennis Bradley and school board member Jessica Martinez were charged for allegedly trying to fraudulently obtain state public campaign financing.  Also in May 2019, City Councilman Michael DeFilippo was charged for illegalities involving absentee or mail-in ballots.  

The past primary on September 12th for Mayor in Bridgeport saw Ganim incredibly winning again by a mere 251 votes when all absentee ballots were counted.  However, a September 5 video taken from the Morton Center in Bridgeport distributed by Mayor challenger John Gomes shows a city employee Wanda Geter-Pataki, who is the Vice-Chair of the Bridgeport Democratic Town Committee, an employee of the City of Bridgeport, a front desk receptionist at the Bridgeport Government Center, and a supporter of Mayor Joe Ganim, stuffing what appear to be absentee ballots on multiple occasions into a publicly designated container.  Also, it has been stated that an internal surveillance video also shows that Geter-Pataki handed ballots to another unnamed city employee who proceeded to place those ballots in the same box.  Geter-Pataki has been placed on paid administrative leave from her job since this video.   As of the time of this writing, Mr. Gomes’ campaign has filed twenty-two separate complaints to both the Office of the Secretary of the State and the State Enforcement Elections Commission regarding voting issues.  State and Bridgeport police investigations are starting also as of the time of this writing.  The state is still investigating alleged voter fraud from the 2019 election with possible investigations into three people with close ties with the Ganim campaign.  

Regarding the alleged fraud, Connecticut's Democrat Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas condescendingly stated that: "This situation is not about partisan politics, it’s not about a broken electoral system. This isn’t even about absentee ballot systems,” Thomas said. “It’s about a few bad actors and an undereducated electorate.” (https://insideinvestigator.org/sots-bridgeport-ballot-scandal-result-of-bad-actors-and-under-educated-electorate). How is the electorate under-educated?  How many bad actors constantly are found in Democrat Bridgeport?  It is apparent by Secretary of State Thomas above quote that she is toeing the unaccountable for anything Democrat Party line that they can do no wrong and it is obviously the voter's fault for what they did.  Although Mr. Gomes is sincere in his request for heightened state oversight for a new election, regrettably more money for the serial ineptitude that is the Secretary of State's office will not solve this problem, given the ineptitude and unseriousness of said office, from the top down.

Taxpayers and homeowners, especially those in Bridgeport, should be sickened by many aspects of the ongoing corruption in Democrat Mayor Ganim's administration and campaign.  He obviously continues to place himself above the law like most Democrats in Connecticut do, following the pattern from His Royal Con-Man King Ned Lamont “The Unaccountable”.  I do not understand how Connecticut allows a convicted felon to run for office again.  It is obvious to many that corruption reigns supreme in Bridgeport, Ganim and his political operatives use this poor decaying city as their personal bank accounts. Civil rights of its citizens are discarded, and ethics are non-existent.  Why is this happening over and over again in Bridgeport?  Where is the outcry by the elites in the Democrat Party over this obvious fraud and misconduct and their usual shrieks about “our democracy?”  Why are Taxpayers good monies being used to pay for this abuse of its vote and political system?  

As Democrat Party corruption in its purest sense keeps getting ignored, it becomes the norm.  The norm of a complete failure of the right to vote and the right to a democracy.  In Bridgeport and other Connecticut towns and cities these failures are embraced and rewarded.  Bridgeport deserves better than another two failed years of the Ganim extortion administration of economic and social failures.

 Ganim and his cartel need to go once and for all. And the clock may tick for 1776 in Bridgeport first before it ticks in other places.

 

Back in November 2020, Things Were Different

 

You are better off than you were in November 2020.  You did not realize that.  You, as a Taxpayer are apparently not thankful that you are dealing with a massive amount of economic and social problems that the Connecticut Democrat Party along with their Corrupt Democrat President help to create over the past three years. That said, how ungrateful can you be?

Back in November 2020 you did not have runaway inflation creating both a massive loss of middle class and senior citizen wealth in the country.  This loss causes many Americans to go deeper and deeper into debt since the costs of energy, food, housing, interest rates and insurances have gone up by an incredible amount.  Consumer and business debt is at an all-time high with the possibilities of many bankruptcies occurring in the near future.  Those on fixed incomes do not have any room for economic error since this runaway inflation.  But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020.  You do not realize that?

Back in November 2020 you did not have unchecked and rampant illegal immigration taking place at the border.  You had an orderly process of applications and procedures for an individual to apply to get into our country.  It is clear that there are stronger screening processes taking place at our airports when legal citizens fly, as compared to illegals at the border.  Today it is acceptable whether you a criminal, cartel member, human/drug trafficker, and or terrorist you are now welcomed with open arms and Taxpayer money to enjoy a new reign of terror on our country compliments of the failed Democrat Biden Presidency.  Just look at the disaster in Texas.  Just look at the sickening squalor of Democrat-run Sanctuary cities in our country like San Francisco, Chicago, New York City and Boston. But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020.  You don't realize that?

Back in November 2020 you did not have unchecked crime and murders in your communities.  You did not have underage and unlicensed juvenile delinquents stealing your autos on a daily basis in Connecticut and many other Democrat run communities.  You did not have a 12- year- old juvenile delinquent stealing a vehicle in Bridgeport, CT as was experienced this past week.  Your Democrat run cities did not have unaccountable shootings and murders committed with illegal guns.  The costs to Taxpayers are enormous for this crime as injured victims walk into hospitals getting treatments paid for by government in most cases, and your home and car insurance continues to increase to offset the enormous number of claims made by the innocent victims of these crimes.  You are not safe even in broad daylight doing grocery shopping as hit and run drive by criminals work their beats.   Police have become the enemies while the criminal is treated as victim.  Moral and law-abiding citizens and Taxpayers are the criminals now. But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020.  You don't realize that?

Back in November 2020 you did not have to worry about having your child taken away from you nor be informed on what was going on in their school life by their school officials, especially with respect to gender changes.  Today, you no longer have control and parental rights over your children.  Many schools wish to hide sex changes and any personal information on their children from their parents.  When and why did this happen? But the Democrat Party and the state-run media wants you to believe you are better off than you were in November 2020.  You don't realize that?

Back in November 2020 you did not have to worry about your President or Vice President selling their offices for financial gain.  Today the overwhelming evidence against President Biden, his son, and the Biden family in basically selling United States policies and influence with foreign peddlers for their own personal financial gain has been ignored, discredited, and covered up by law enforcement officials, government agencies and the state-run media.  But the Democrat Party and the same state-run media wishes for you to believe that President Trump and the constant lawsuits thrown at him are justified in our fast becoming "Banana Republic" judicial system that ignores our Constitution. Taxpayers work for government officials for their financial gain.  You don't realize that?

Back in November, 2020, you could rest assured that the administration of King Ned Lamont “The Unaccountable” was operating under the highest of ethical standards and he, his wife’s family investors, and the Connecticut Administrative State was doing all it could at every moment to keep us all “Safe from Covid” and the King himself pre-emptively set up a blind trust to ensure that his family investors would never be able to profit off of the backs of the poor Connecticut Taxpayers. But in 2023, the Democrat Party and the same state-run media now totally have amnesia about that past complex costly fraud and now ignore any  new double deals from state associated characters whatsoever, including (but not limited to) the The Unaccountable’s direct relationship to investments by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. All continues to be better than ever, and Connecticut is enjoying a great renaissance!  You don't realize that?    

  Lies, deception, distortion, corruption, a lack of ethics, laws that don't apply to the Democrats but only to President Trump, a total lack of respect for the Constitution is what our government is all about in September 2023.  The debacle that we must endure is the responsibility of a Corrupt Democrat President and his incompetent Democrat Party at all levels.  Black is not white and white is not black.  The destruction of our economy and society by a Corrupt Democrat President and his incompetent Democrat Party minions should not be the new norm.  It is not acceptable to our country and states and its legal citizens.  The mess that a Corrupt Democrat President and his incompetent Democrat Party have created needs to end now. We cannot deny the evil that is ever present in our country as it truly is 1776 all over again.

Connecticut's Democrat Climate Crisis. (What? You DON’T believe me?).

The sky is falling, the sky is falling!  Yes, the Connecticut Democrat Induced Climate Change Crisis is in full gear and the sky is falling in Connecticut.  What do you mean you don't believe me?  Well, I don't believe it myself, but that is immaterial. Get with the Democrat programs and propaganda!  Now! If you don't believe that Connecticut should adopt California style emissions, eliminate all gas cars and trucks, stop using all fossil fuels (especially oil), dig up the natural oceans to build wind turbines that kill and maim birds and sea life, stop using fireplaces and stoves to burn heating wood, eliminate heating oil and other assorted normal energy to heat and cool your homes or for making fuel for driving, you are considered to be many things such as unreasonable, tyrannical, conservative, uneducated, antisemitic, needing re-education on the climate change crisis and in all probability, racist.

The Connecticut's Democrat Climate Crisis led by King Ned Lamont "The Unaccountable" and his regime is too good of a crisis for them to pass up.  Think of the self-sacrifices of our Democrat Ruling Class! For example, we now see our elected Democrat Party officials walking everywhere to their political functions daily and no longer using fossil fuels!  As an example, Democrat/Communist United States Senator Richard Blumenthal apparently walks to all of his press conferences now spouting his incoherent unrelenting gibberish known as "his solutions" to the unrelenting climate crisis Connecticut Taxpayers are responsible for, especially when they breathe.  The Democrats in the State House and State Senate all walk to the state capitol for their meetings and use candles instead of electricity in session.

Or, how about the climate crisis damage some Connecticut Republicans/Independents cause when they have positive thoughts about former President Trump and his victory in November 2024? We also see that President Trump is also responsible for both global warming and the Democrat Party Climate Crisis.

Can you imagine how economically damaged to the point of no return the state will become if Connecticut Taxpayers do not follow the Connecticut Democrat Induced Climate Change Crisis guidelines in eliminating all fossil fuels and all things that make life livable?  You think I am kidding?  Don't you believe that “economically damaged to the point of no return” includes Armageddon to Democrat “economic prosperity programs” like Bideonomics, by definition?

Common sense in the opinion of many does not exist in the socialist rule of King Ned Lamont "The Unaccountable’s" Democrat Connecticut.  The lack of economic logic being force fed by the Multi-Millionaire Governor on Connecticut Taxpayers with regards to Connecticut's Democrat Climate Crisis is beyond sickening.  There are many ways for the state economy to gradually reduce some of its evil dependency on fossil fuels (since it is somehow bad to have a prosperous Connecticut economy), in a logical and sane manner.  Electric cars are not the solution or electric public buses that explode and catch on fire. Nor is the destruction of Connecticut's coastline with unsightly turbines being built ruining and killing our sea life and innocent sea mammals.  It is time to stop the propaganda and absolute lunacy of this Democrat Party climate crisis.  It is time to stop the wholesale destruction of the state's economy.  It is time to stop the dictatorial and self-dealing rule of King Ned Lamont "The Unaccountable’s" Democrat Party in Connecticut with all of its horrific policies and programs that continue to make the state a vast economic wasteland.

Connecticut's Department of Economic and Community Development: A Taxpayer's Wasteland

 On this Labor Day Weekend 2023, it is apropos to remember that many minion-type Connecticut Taxpayers support the State of Connecticut to nurture a vast economic wasteland.  This wasteland is better known as the “Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development”, better known as the "DECD".  The DECD has had a history of serious problems including, but not limited to, its annual audits.  For many years the DECD also has had massive problems when it comes to the economic tasks of what it was supposedly created to do.  For example, from 2011 to 2017 over $1.8 billion dollars was spent by the state in many different so-called “economic development” programs.  During that same period, job growth was the slowest in the nation and Connecticut was last or nearly last in most business and economic categories in the country.  Worse yet, the DECD did not start undergoing audits until 2017.  Its first audit and every audit since then has shown many issues and problems that have never been resolved year and year out.  But year in and year out, the same Connecticut Taxpayers underwrite this debacle and failure of a true politically tainted and inept state-run agency.

What happened in these audits?  Some examples include (but are not limited to), the following:

The DECD overstated the number of jobs created and or retained along with the financial and economic impact of these same programs.  The DECD did not properly check out companies requesting loans by giving loans and in some cases second loans even though the companies did not meet job creation requirements and/or were not making payments on their loans.  Between 2020 and 2022, audits showed that the DECD omitted statutorily required information, and had unsupported data and economic impact analyses.  For a responsible private sector firm, such continual misrepresentation and possible fraud would result in fines and likely jail terms. A great deal of audit issues are public knowledge and have been raised  in the past by myself and by my good friend Tony De Angelo on his weekly Tuesday A.M. segment on the Lee Elci Show on 94.9FM.

As Tony likes to say, “if you like Peanut Butter, you will love Skippy!” , so needless to say, the latest audit states that "The report by State Auditors John Geragosian and Clark Chapin says the DECD omitted statutorily required information by failing to report the economic impact of incentives administered by Connecticut Innovations, the state's quasi-public venture capital arm, and failing to indicate whether their programs were meeting intended goals." Why are the problems that were reported in the past repeated in yearly audits?  It is ostensible that the Department of Economic and Community Development has plain wasted Connecticut Taxpayers money.  The current 30 years plus of omnipotent one-party rule of the Connecticut Democrat Party has helped to lead Connecticut into a never-ending economic ditch of high taxes, authoritarian rule, senseless laws that protect criminals and encourage crime along with outright fraud, lies, deception, and a disregard for the state Constitution. Buying jobs using Connecticut Taxpayer monies has not worked for over 30 years.  Connecticut, with or without the Department of Economic and Community Development, is basically in the same economic shape it was over 30 years ago only now with an ever-increasing debt load and unchecked state employee fixed costs for benefits, pensions and salaries. 

 It is difficult to understand the purpose of the DECD.  Is it just to pick politically connected winners and losers in the state's economy and throw money at Ned Lamont associated companies like Sema-4, Vestwell, Digital Currency Group, Boston Consulting Group, Mt. Sinai Genomics and/or McKinsey and others? Is it just to hand out minimal interest disappearing multi-million dollar “sweetheart” loans to cronies and the politically connected? I wonder how much money Connecticut Taxpayers have lost by investments made both in public and in secret by the Connecticut's DECD?  $100 million, $500 million more?  Less? Why isn't this information made public in a state as small as Connecticut that has over $150 billion dollars in short- and long-term debt along with unfunded liabilities?   Why aren't the audit issues addressed? And if they can't be addressed then why isn't the DECD de-funded and abolished since it is not properly operating under accounting laws and rules of the state?  Why does no known political figure whatsoever call for dissolving DECD? In my opinion DECD is just as corrupt as Governor Ned Lamont and should be shut down.  But in a state as corrupt as Connecticut what's a few billion dollars’ worth of Connecticut Taxpayer's wasted?  It is just politics as usual as we fast approach our new 1776.

The Connecticut Democrat Party Ban on Your Way of Life

Ban everything!  Especially cars and trucks that run on gasoline. And do it by 2035 so you conform with California law even though you live and pay taxes in Connecticut.  And do it because Democrat King Ned Lamont "The Unaccountable" has agreed to it with a sham public hearing being held to supposedly show his "transparency" on this critical issue.  And do it because you must force fed the lies of climate change daily or be berated and chastised by any and all liberals for your holding of a rational and accurate belief on our climate.  And do it to remember that your personal freedom is no longer allowed in a totalitarian and depressed one party-ruled state such as Connecticut.

And given the lack of vision and perspective by just about every elected official on this issue coupled with the “Connecticut Way” of doing things, what makes one think this ban on gasoline cars will stop here? Follow what is happening in other parts of the country with bans on gas stoves and gas and coal fired electric property. The Connecticut Liberal simply wishes to control every area of your life and will throw a fit if he or she cannot do it. The state-run media in Connecticut will never report on such factual matters, as none of them paint “The King” in a non favorable light. It is simply amazing as to how business is done in the realm of the kingdom.

Do you realize that statistics of the past fifty years clearly show that gasoline powered vehicles create little (if any) pollutants and are gas/energy efficient, so how bad they must be?  They are bad because they allow the Connecticut Taxpayer personal freedom of movement in the state to anywhere you wish to go.  They are bad because they allow you, the Connecticut Taxpayer, to be able to fill up your tank with gasoline (hopefully not being mugged or robbed in Crime Free Democrat Connecticut while in the act) and drive to where you need to go.  For example, drive to work, school, grocery shopping, medical appointments, and leisure activities as you contribute gasoline taxes to the inane and inept government every step of the trip.  What a concept of personal freedom!

The free market system of our economy along with your consumer satisfaction should dictate whether or not electric vehicles will be demanded in the future and if they will be profitable enough to produce without any governmental subsidies.  Our nationwide electric grid can't handle all of these new vehicles that will need to be charged in any way, shape, or form.  That trivial part of critical mass is always conveniently forgotten about.  Contrary to what our socialist government thinks, the economy is not going to be able to absorb the massive loss of jobs in our economy due to the ban of gasoline powered vehicles as hundreds of thousands of mechanics, gas station employees, car dealership employees, parts manufacturers and others who will lose their non-state supported jobs for the sake of an elitist/socialist decree.  This is the real economic nightmare we are facing as the whiners, “think-tank” pontificators, and extremely well-paid government bureaucrats crafting this nightmarish drivel really, do not care about you in the least.

 I don't understand how or why any registered Democrat in the state of Connecticut, especially elected officials, are still driving horrific, polluting, gas guzzling, non-eco-friendly, non-green gasoline vehicles daily? Aren't they hypocrites for doing this?  I also cannot understand why the King is still allowed to travel in a fuel-consuming beast with state-paid attendants with him every mile of the way. Why can't these same Democrats just walk everywhere and stop polluting all together?  Have some skin in the game of their climate change and be role models for the world. Put up or shut up. As my good friend and colleague Tony De Angelo is often given to say, it’s simple as that, and just as difficult.

Gasoline powered vehicles should not be banned nor eliminated in our economy.  It is economic gibberish and stupidity.  People need to speak out against this coming economic catastrophe and mess and demand the accountability of elected officials to push back against the entire fossil fuel vs. green-everything agenda.  If you are a Liberal/Socialistic Connecticut Democrat who believes in King Ned Lamont "The Unaccountable" you follow him by definition towards the path of decay, destruction, and folly.  You will faithfully obey his every word.  Even if it means giving up your personal freedom so that you can truly be a pawn on the Democrat Party's path to economic and social decay and destruction.  At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it is 1776 once again.

Why on God’s Green Earth Is President Biden Running For Another Term? Why?

Are you kidding me?  President Joe Biden wants to run for another term for President?  Why?  His administration has failed our country daily since he has taken office.  The list is never ending with his failures as President.  Do you really think you are better off than you were in 2020? 

If we are accepting of the candidacy of Joe Biden, we must also accept the following achievements of his Presidency during his term:

We must accept an endless nightmare at our open borders with unchecked illegal immigration resulting in a massive uptick in human trafficking, illegal drug cartels running rampant, and a new drug crisis.

We must accept the horrific and humiliating withdrawal in Afghanistan with a massive loss of American lives, technology and military secrets/weapons being lost forever.

We must accept a new energy crisis with the contrived shutoff of plentiful American energy sources, resorting back to a foreign energy dependence with massive increases in energy prices, spot shortages and an economically incoherent new green energy manifesto that is being force fed upon the country.

We must accept and open our homes and personal property to unrelenting, unchecked, and unpunished crime, thefts, and murders, as allowing these horrors to persist will somehow reduce them.  This delusional approach will magically make crime go away with no more bonds needing to be posted, no prosecution for shoplifting that is costing retailers $95 billion dollars in 2022, and no more outstanding arrest warrants that are no longer being pursued by de-funded, demoralized, and hated police departments in our country.

We must accept runaway Democrat Party endorsed inflation that has stripped economic growth from our economy.  The loss of personal wealth, especially by retirees, has been great and painful and such is apparently embraced and condoned by the multi-millionaires who run the Democrat Party.  Prices for food are incredibly high, leaving the middle class hungry with dwindling if any personal savings.  Businesses still in some cases have not recovered from the heavily-hyped Covid crisis, and many citizens have lost their businesses and life savings due to economically incoherent Democrat economic policies.

We must accept the war on families, parents, and religion without question.  Why are the most sacred institutions in our country hated so much by these Democrat elitists and Marxists?  Aren't parents responsible for their children not an out-of-control liberal government?  I thought freedom of religion was one of the founding foundations of our country. Why are Catholics now "terrorists"?  

We must accept that Joe and Hunter Biden can profit off their selling of American influence, policies and American Taxpayers monies with no ramifications or guilt.  The constant unfolding influence peddling scandal in which the Biden's are involved is one of the greatest scandals in our nation's history and should be treated as such.  It reeks of treason and corruption, and a total disdain for the common American.  It should sicken Americans on both sides of the aisle for its deceit and deception of our country's principles.

We must accept the stereophonic incompetency of Biden-esque policies such as “Bidenomics”, unenforced crime, and sanctuary state status being parroted  in decaying and disintegrating Blue States, assisted by the mindless obedience of thoughtless political creatures such as Kathy Hochul in New York, Gavin Newsom in California, and our own King Ned Lamont the Unaccountable in Connecticut who “kept us all safe from Covid” while making Connecticut cities into war zones and promoting exploding electric buses for the sake of the god of climate change.

The time has come for a massive shift in the beliefs, creed, doctrine, ideology, and principles of American politics and American government if this country can survive at all.  Americans need to stop standing by idly hoping for this horror to end.  Americans must demand accountability with an end to this unscrupulousness and ineptitude called politics and government.  The Biden Administration needs to be stopped now and removed from power.  We see once again we have "Taxation without Representation".  This is truly the new 1776 moment in our country.  Enough is enough.

The Democrat Proterra Crisis

American and Connecticut Taxpayers monies are hemorrhaging again with another failed company.  Whenever this happens, it goes without saying that Connecticut Taxpayers get ripped off.  Government must always pick the winners and losers of private business at your expense, especially when it comes to global warming and other assorted lies about our weather and climate.  In the instant case, the Utopian energy crisis and global warming cure-all electric bus company Proterra has gone bankrupt.  Trying to ascertain as to how much money it ripped off Taxpayers has become almost impossible.  For example, Connecticut Taxpayers are on the hook for a mere $26,000,000 grant for now non-existent Proterra bus purchases in 2024 and 2025.  But please don't discount the fact that New York received a mere $127,000,000 Taxpayers grants for these same failed and inept monuments to political engineering, to date.

Furthermore, it's important to note that Jennifer Granholm, the carefully chosen Energy Secretary under the Biden administration and a previous board member of Proterra, appeared to significantly influence multiple municipal transit contracts for these remarkable electric vehicles. This influence resulted in her making a substantial capital gain of $1.6 million just 157 days after her nomination when she eventually divested her stocks in the company. Of course, its silence as usual on this critical matter from the pathetic shills in state run media, especially in a place like Connecticut where yet another rip-off of Connecticut Taxpayers has again taken place.

Think about how excited Vice President Harris got when she stated that the buses were, "very user-friendly".  How stupid was that remark by the Vice President of the United States of America?  They don't seem "very user friendly" now that the company is bankrupt with some of these state-of-the-art masterpieces combusting.  How will the buses be serviced now with this bankruptcy?  Or does the Democrat Party now find another electric bus company that they can siphon money from?  

I truly wonder how our electric grid is now supposed handle unlimited charging of these new electric vehicles. Remember that Taxpayers must be done with gasoline powered vehicles by 2035 because they are so evil and horrible to our world.  But now this is a moot point since Proterra has gone bankrupt. Will millions upon millions of Taxpayers’ dollars lost in this Bidenomics economic fiasco and debacle be recovered? And in Connecticut it is just another of the many economic nightmares endorsed by the corrupted and functionally inept administration of King Ned Lamont The Unaccountable.

Lies, theft, and corruption are the Gold Standard of a Democrat reign.  It is beyond horrific that the people who are most dependent on public transportation such as the elderly and the honest working poor are always pawns for the Democrat Party.  Taxpayers have it all with both the Biden and Lamont Democrat Administrations and their appointed serially incompetent executive fools who work for them.  Proterra is another company on the list of many pump-and-dump schemes such as Sema-4 designed to rip off the Taxpayers of our state and country with no ramifications whatsoever.  Enough is enough of this catastrophe and disintegrating charade called government with this prime example of pushing electric deathtraps upon us while gas and diesel vehicles outperform them in every respect.

 

The Unethical and Completely Unaccountable Democrat Party

Ethics are defined as "the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group.” Today. many individuals in America and especially in Connecticut believe that the Democrat Party, being a party that controls Connecticut and several other state governments in our country, is shamelessly unethical and corrupt. There is a compelling body of information that tells Americans this is a true fact.

If we try to follow the limited and fragmented information that our mainstream media is presenting us about the President Biden/Hunter Biden corruption scandal, we are led to believe that nothing really happened at all. For example, some liberal commentators expressed that President Biden may have inquired of Hunter Biden's socialist/communist political friends only about their local weather during phone calls. Others believe the "Big Guy" is a fictional cartoon character. Yet others believe that the Bidens' did nothing wrong in selling the Vice President's office for financial gain. Democrat Connecticut Representative Jim Himes went as far as to say: “Now, to the question about impeachment, there is today zero evidence, zero evidence that Joe Biden, the President of the United States, knew about what his son was doing. If, if he did know about it, if he participated in that, then that is a very different conversation,” (https://nypost.com/2023/07/30/hunter-biden-broke-the-law-democrat-rep-jim-himes-says/)  Apparently, Himes is the new poster-boy lapdog for the Democrat Party.  It is amazing that a Vice President had no idea of who he was talking to and or what he was talking about with foreign officials. The lies that one now hears by the unaccountable Democrat Party should sicken every American on both sides on the political aisle. If a Republican Vice President were doing this, I can only imagine the daily condemnation of him or her by the Democrat Party and its media. Does anyone remember the crimes of Vice President Agnew?

How about the “Russia Russia Russia” hoax used by the Democrat Party and the Department of Justice to influence the 2020 Presidential election? And now, President Trump is brought up on incoherent and extrapolated charges two and half years later for the January 6, 2021, protest? But nothing whatsoever happens to any Democrat operative as far as the Russian hoax? If a Republican President were doing this, I can only imagine the daily condemnation of him or her by the Democrat Party and its media. Does anyone remember the crimes of President Nixon?

Connecticut Governor “King Ned Lamont the Unaccountable” has successfully slimed and slithered away from any ethics issues since elected with his own hard-earned money in 2018 and 2022, while sporting an undisclosed $54 million dollar benefit from his investment income. There always seems to be a cause-and-effect relationship of enormous state backed investment in companies owned by the Lamont family hedge fund that are continually ignored by the absent Connecticut State Ethics Commission and the obeisant and uninterested Connecticut state-run media. These questions still remain unanswered about how the man “earns” his investment income: Was this investment income made through the effectively now diluted stock of Sema-4? Was the investment income made through the multi-million- dollar 2% disappearing “sweetheart” state loans given to Sema-4 that are (or were) forgiven by the state? Was the investment income made through the “Covid-19 Billings” and/or sweetheart deals made by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development to Lamont family hedge fund companies? Was the investment income made through cryptocurrency companies such as Digital Currency group and its affiliates subsidized by the state? Was the investment income made through all new clandestine “nonprofit" ADVANCECT? Was it made through the selling of citizen data via Boston Consulting Group, Mt. Sinai Genomics and/or McKinsey? Was the investment income made through the Lamont-based shell companies formed in the Cayman Islands and other tax havens? Now, we see that Ned's wife Annie Lamont and her Oak HC/FT hedge funds has invested in Saudi Arabia's “Sanabil Investments” a functional division of the “Saudi Public Investment Fund.”  I wonder why and how this is ethical? Isn't Saudi Arabia a threat to our country like China? Was it not functionally involved in 9/11/2001? What about the "ethics" agreement that the Governor signed about his family investments and the Ethics Commission oversight on any of these issues? If a Republican Governor were doing this, I can only imagine the daily condemnation of him or her by the Democrat Party and its media. Does anyone remember the crimes of Governor John Rowland?

Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— the Lord detests them both." (Proverbs 17:15)   This bible verse to me and many others summarizes the unethical and unaccountable Democrat Party of both Connecticut and America in 2023. Taxpayers are supporting this gibberish, guff, and self-serving mess called government. Ethics need to be restored immediately, or politicians need to feel the anger, fury, and wrath of taxpayers all over our country once, and for all. If taxpayers fail in this duty, we can put a fork in this state and this nation because, at that point, it will be done.

 

 

Corruption-Crime-Saudi Dealings-A Poor Economy and High Taxes in Ned Lamont's Connecticut

 

You have it all in Democrat Ned Lamont's Connecticut!   There is always a deafening and continual silence from all sides of government and state-run media when corruption, crime, a poor economy and high taxes grace King Ned Lamont "The Unaccountable's state of affairs.

Corruption never seems to end in Connecticut.  We know we are unable to view the tax returns of the "Greenwich businessman" Governor who has earned $54 million dollars in 2021.  In addition, Connecticut Taxpayers don't know how much money is being made from the newest questionable and suspect ethics issue coming out of this administration as reported by George Colli (TheCTCapitalist.com). This issue concerns the investments of the Governor's wife and his family's hedge investments (Oak HC/FT) being in business with an investment partnership that is a part of the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund.  After all, why invest in Connecticut and or the United States when you can make more money in Saudi Arabia? What does it matter in the least if you are in charge of an American state and you are effectively "partnering" with a nation that is fiercely opposed to affordable American energy resources? And it matters even less that Saudi Arabia is linked by Executive Orders from the Biden administration to supporting the dastardly events of 9/11/01. And please don't forget about all of the other unanswered investments and undisclosed arrangements that Tony De Angelo has brought up (Lee Elci Show 94.9FM radio) over the past three years with regards to Sema-4, Digital Currency Group and its affiliates, ADVANCECT, Boston Consulting Group, UNITE US, Mt. Sinai Genomics, McKinsey and the Lamont-based Cayman Islands shell companies that remain a secret in one of the most "transparent" administrations in Connecticut's history, the one being run by Ned Lamont.

Crime never seems to end in Connecticut.  Recently a woman's car was hijacked and stolen at gunpoint.  And don't forget about all of the car theft, robberies, and murders that roll on a daily basis in the state.  Some juveniles under the age of 16 have a rap sheet that is as long as your arm.  The Connecticut Democrat Party shrugs their shoulders and  ignores the crime problem.  They instead boast of how prison populations have dropped dramatically over the past few years.  I can only imagine what would happen if a prominent Democrat family member was mugged and robbed in their local supermarket parking lot in broad daylight.  The outrage that would ensue would be comical in nature.  They would probably blame President Trump for it (or failing that, the ghost of Rush Limbaugh).

A poor, unreal prop-type economy never seems to end in Connecticut.  Connecticut has some of the highest taxes in the country, is ranked last or near last in most business and economic categories in the country and has some of the worst infrastructure in the country.  Connecticut is in a perpetual recession with little job growth and job creation as the Democrat Party contrary to their Utopian view of the state economy, picks the winners and losers in business by their political patronage. Businesses continue to close in the state monthly.  Connecticut still has $100 to $150 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities and that there is no plan whatsoever to pay down this debt.  

Ned Lamont's Connecticut Democrat Party never tells the truth about the state. Corruption, crime, a poor economy and high taxes do not exist in their world.  Connecticut Taxpayers must deal with Ned Lamont's Connecticut Democrat Party's corruption, crime, a poor economy and high taxes on a daily basis, not to mention his continual co-opting of state resources for his own family benefit.  Solutions and truth are in short supply in Connecticut's state government.  A state government supported by the hard work of the Connecticut Taxpayer who are the pawns in this chess game of corruption, crime, a poor economy and high taxes.  The answers are in an overhaul of the state government and a system of real checks and balances by multiple voices of a real two party system of elected government.  That does not exist in this state.  it is a true charade of incompetence and incoherent gibberish, set to the music of a ringing Lamont cash register.

The Partisan "Connecticut CEO Program"

 If you run a business in Connecticut, you face a great deal of issues on a daily basis, including, but not limited to, sales of your product or service, a massive and oppressive state bureaucracy, high state and local taxes, ineffective, arrogant, (or functionally incompetent) elected officials, employee retention, and a whole lot more.  Connecticut Democrat Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas recently came up with some more bureaucracy for the business owners and managers to deal with in a "voluntary" program that in the opinion of many will become mandatory at some in the future. It is the new "Non-Partisan Civically-Engaged CEO  Program".

After reading this unbelievable and insulting "Pledge" I thought this really can't believe this is a real state run program that Connecticut Taxpayers must pay for.  Nor can it be a real program that companies would want to take on given the massive amount of real business issues that they face daily trying to survive in the horrific economy of Connecticut given its high taxes, massive layers of regulatory bureaucracy, poor infrastructure, unchecked crime, net migration of population out of the state, trying to make a profit and stay open and many (many) more problems.  

From reading this I guess the state does not want you to hire older workers for your business but rather "Recruit younger employees who have been shown to care about companies’ civic health."  How does a business owner know these younger employees have been shown to care?  Are older, (perhaps Caucasian) workers uncaring, by definition? Are they tested beforehand?  Does the Secretary of State's office approve them? Are older workers no longer able to care anymore?  Will older workers now lose their jobs at a certain age because their somehow no longer "care"? 

Why must businesses now be forced to: "Give employees time off to vote on Election Days (if schedules don’t allow before or after-hours voting)"?  I thought that is why the state has mail in voting, absentee voting and all sorts of other awesome and user-friendly options, so that one does not have to waste time actually going to formally vote in person on election day?  

How does a business "Bring people together regardless of political party affiliations."?  Is there now a system to do this in a state like Connecticut that has unchecked Democrat Party rule?  Especially when reading their "Non-Partisan Civics 101" document that (https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/SOTS/Education/Civics_101/SoTS-Civic-Education-Flyer_2-sided_color_032423.pdf) has a quote from the late Democrat John Lewis:  "The vote is precious. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have.

in a democratic society, and we must use it. — John Lewis, Congressman + Civil Rights Activist". Why then is there not a quote from a Republican on the flyer also to prove that it is "Non-Partisan"?  Would this same kind of bureaucratic civic zeal be exhibited for a worker going out to campaign at a Vivek Ramaswamy rally? I recommend everyone read this flyer, it is an eye opener to see how "Non-partisan" it really is.

This program is totally unnecessary, if not flat out insulting, pandering, and demeaning.  It is a waste of Connecticut Taxpayers monies.  It is a waste of time for businesses to join.  This program again promotes the rule of the Ned Lamont regime in the state, once again to the deafening silence of the state GOP.  If Connecticut Taxpayers were not beaten up by their "representative" government on a daily basis they could be much more "civically engaged".   If their "vote" actually counted they would go and vote each election.  If they were not taxed to death and forced to support over $100 billion dollars in short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities they would "volunteer" more in their communities.  But Connecticut is a state where only the politically connected survive.

Why America Needs Real Leadership Again

 Many people today believe America needs real leadership again.  They believe our country needs real leadership in many areas of our economy, government and society.  They believe young boys and girls need real ethical and genuine role models to look up to and to emulate.  They believe that America is on the wrong path, being a path of decline, decay and destruction of ethics, freedom, and its real history.  They long for normalcy.  The common men and women of our country, the great silent majority who are law abiding citizens that go to work daily producing with their abilities and who help others in need, are fed up with the incoherent gibberish, government ineptitude and lies that they are forced to endure on a daily basis.  In sum, we have a leadership crisis in our country today stemming all the way from the White House, to places like the Governor's Mansion in Hartford CT where King Ned Lamont The Unaccountable, resides and marches daily in lockstep with the parade of aimless chaos surrounding him and his fellow Democrat leaders.

Common sense does not seem to exist in our country today.  The Democrat Party political ideology littered with deceptions, lies and falsehoods that must be embraced, promoted and accepted with no questions asked.  When a normal, forthright American does not agree with its socialist creed and doctrine they are immediately discredited, disgraced and vilified by the operatives of the Democrat Party political ideology.  One example is a woman who complains about the unsafe conditions in her area, but she is dismissed and ridiculed by her local government. She truly is afraid to go to the grocery store to shop.  She is placed in further fear of being mugged and having her purse, groceries and car stolen from her when she goes back to her vehicle after shopping.  But in this leadership void we are obligated to live with the the constant threat of crime. Crime that somehow according to the Democrat Party political ideology can magically go away with no more arrests or convictions. Many District Attorneys follow precisely the Democrat Party political ideology when it comes to criminals, the victims of crime are the now the criminals, the criminal has more rights than the victims of crime.  At the same time the Democrat Party political ideology leaders are all safe behind their gated communities and fortresses they have built for themselves along with their private security forces they employ.

Sports is now a political tool of the Democrat Party political ideology where radical fringe groups must have their own nights at games. Religious beliefs must be destroyed also, as was the example of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, honoring a sickening anti-Catholic, anti-nun group before a recent game.  If a Christian athlete speaks out against these events and or does not wish to participate due to their religious beliefs they are demonized.  The Democrat Party political ideology apparently will no longer accept freedom of religion when it does not suit their agenda.

Then, the Democrat Party political ideology list of wrongs that want to be made right seems endless.  In the opinion of many the the Democrat Party political ideology is illogical, unethical and just plain wrong.  The Biden Administration is a great example of corruption and embracing the Democrat Party political ideology with runaway inflation, rampant crime, a massive loss of personal wealth over the past three years, an open border crisis, a massive illegal drug crisis, a transgender children's crisis, a National Debt crisis, an Afghanistan war crisis, a new war crisis between Russia and the Ukraine that taxpayers must pay for with no questioning, a selling of the Vice President's office for financial gain, and an energy crisis just to name a few issues since 2021.

Why must America accept this garbage?  America needs real leadership again not the Democrat Party political ideology that is a failure in everything it addresses.  Real leaders in America need to stand up and be heard.  The same way they were heard in 1776.

Ned's Covid-19 Un-Ethical "Conn-Job"

Connecticut Democrat Governor Ned Lamont is handled cleverly.  So cleverly that transparency does not exist nor can the common Connecticut Taxpayer ever get his or her questions answered especially with regard to the Lamont induced Covid-19 economic debacle taxpayers have lived with through for well over three years.  The Connecticut taxpayers who have survived this economic and socialist nightmare just can not get answers to any questions. 

Let us start at the beginning of this economic debacle and follow the orchestration of this deliberate plan of ethical deception.

To begin, we see an "Advisory Ethics Opinion" issued on May 16, 2019 that basically placed hazy restrictions upon Lamont as Governor and his family's hedge fund.  For example, quoting from Page 4 of this document (https://www.wtnh.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/100/2021/12/Lamont-Ethics-Opinion2.pdf) : "To better identify the need for any necessary recusal, the Governor would periodically arrange to provide his office with a list of individual investments held by himself, Mrs. Lamont or any associated business that have not already been made-subject to the exclusive control of an independent intermediary. The Governor's office would use that list as a checklist on a case-by-case basis to assist in identifying instances where recusal by the Governor or Mrs. Lamont would be necessary." When was this checklist created and where can it be found?  Was this a monthly case by case analysis?  Or was it completely ignored? Finally, after four years whatever happened to this "independent intermediary" that is supposed to ride hard on team Lamont  in order to stop them from any greedy desire it may have to trade with the State?

On Page 8 of this same document: I read that "the Governor and Mrs. Lamont wish to retain direct ownership and control of a handful of investments as to which they have special knowledge and background. All such investments would be listed on the schedule delivered to a designated official in the Governor’s office, which schedule would be periodically updated as necessary, in order that the Governor and his staff may better “police” whether any official action that either the Governor or Mrs. Lamont may contemplate could reasonably be expected to result in a direct financial benefit or harm to themselves or to an associated business to a degree that is different from or greater than the universe of individuals or businesses that would be affected generally by such official action and, therefore, require recusal by the Governor and Mrs. Lamont."  A poor and humble citizen might ask the following questions: What is the Lamont definition of "reasonable belief" in this case? How does the Governor get to first "contemplate" the issues to "police" himself upon? What does the word "police"even mean? Can this "policing" result in a consequent "arrest"?  Where are the reports issued with regards to the Sema-4 investment and the subsequent contracts with state? Identical questions also remain for Digital Currency Group and UNITE CT.

The report concluded on Page 16: "We conclude that the steps taken by Governor Lamont and Mrs. Lamont concerning their financial assets and associated businesses, as set forth in this opinion, are adequate to better ensure compliance with the Code, particularly its conflict-of-interests provisions and disclosure requirements."  Feeling somewhat better after reading that, we are never allowed to assume that this maze of legal gibberish cleared the way for a profit train for the Lamont family "legally" and with "no conflict of interest".  

If any of the sham language above holds true, why did the Oak HC/FT hedge fund set up investments in Sema-4 and $800 million dollars in investments in the Cayman Islands LP on August 1, 2019?  Why did the state authorize on June 1, 2020 a no bid Covid-19 contract with Sema-4?  Wouldn't this be a direct violation of this ethics ruling of May 16, 2019?  Where was the overview of the contract?  Where was the oversight by the well paid but functionally incompetent state agencies who were supposed to "police" the Governor's financial investments?  Wasn't the Governor's family hedge fund heavily invested in Sema-4 at this time?

The actual investigation has been done for three years now by Tony De Angelo on his weekly segment on the Lee Elci Show on 94.9FM radio.  He has been precise in his analysis and facts he has presented weekly.  Conversely we have never seen any analysis or investigation on this matter completed by the state.  Tony was the first to point out that this "Advisory Ethics Opinion" is nothing but a deceptive sham agreement cleverly designed to mislead the reader that an actual act of compliance and ethics is in fact taking place, where in fact there is none.

When a person runs for elected office, is a multi-millionaire, and basically buys his way into office it is a severe conflict of interest for the Taxpayers he is supposed to represent.  Ned Lamont is the poster man for this.  Please remember former Republican Governor John Rowland was forced to resign for basically having house repairs done on his weekend home by a contractor at no charge, a minimal amount of money involved.  That was and is illegal and unethical.  However when we fast forward to 2019, Democrat Ned Lamont is a shining example of creating a corrupted administration that services few in the state other than his hedge fund, friends of his family's hedge fund and the Democrat/Socialist based splinter fringe groups that have all had a hand in destroying the state and its communities with their radical demands and laws.  Democrat corruption in the opinion of many has been happening in the state since 2019.  The red-herring Advisory Board Opinion gave a green light to a no holds barred takeover of profits over people by the Lamont's.  A theme that seems to be the cornerstone of a Democrat Governor earning $54 million dollars a year that can not be revealed.  And four years later we are left only with dead silence by an obedient and self serving state run media on these issues. 

There is a great deal more to the story.  It really should be investigated and made public. A real working media would pepper Lamont with queries on this daily. Don't you think?  It is 1776 all over again.

These Are Meaningful Tax Cuts?

 Tax cuts are usually hailed by our elected officials as being manna from the heavens.  Tax cuts are finally voted on and then presented as being thoughtful and Utopian in nature.  When there are tax cuts In Connecticut,  it is an indicator that there has been over taxation taking place and a state election is on the horizon.  In the case of the infinitesimal tax cuts that were given to Connecticut Taxpayers this year, it shows again the imbalance in economic reality for Connecticut's elected officials and for the Connecticut Taxpayers who must pay for Connecticut's ineffective, inept, bloated and corrupted state government.

This year's "bipartisan" state income tax cuts were comical in nature given the Democrat Party runaway inflation and loss of personal wealth Connecticut Taxpayers had to endure since Democrat President Biden took office in 2021.  The state income tax cuts may be summarized as follows:  A family of four earning $125,000 a year will get a $600 cut in taxes, a single-parent family with two children earning $80,000 a year will get a $300 cut in taxes, a single man or woman earning $40,000 a year will get a $250 cut in taxes, and a single parent with one child earning $30,000 a year a year will get a $220 cut in taxes.  Connecticut's Governor "King Ned Lamont, the Unaccountable" expressed great joy for these tax cuts.  Both parties commented on the importance and great tax cuts that were passed as well.  Placing these cuts into perspective, the last announcement of Ned Lamont's yearly income was a yearly total of $54,000,000 publicly or roughly $147,945 a day.  His income is not disclosed as to how it was earned as the public was not shown the actual tax return nor can gain transparency into it either.  Nor does it shed light on "The Unaccountable's" financial family benefit from SEC-verified documents reflecting interests owned in secret tax havens. In juxtaposition, these puny tax cuts in no way, shape, or form will economically help Connecticut's Taxpayers, since the unending runaway inflation of the Democrat Party rolls on unabated and unchecked in 2023. 

Placing another perspective on these tax cuts, how do they promote a more "tax friendly" state?  There was no meaningful tax reform passed in 2023.  Connecticut still ranks as a top five- highest taxed state in the country along with a bottom-five state in business and economic development.  Connecticut Taxpayers monies are given away daily in futile programs that supposedly create jobs, get politically connected companies to move into the state and to invest into companies, some of which have documented political connections to Ned Lamont's family hedge fund.  Can we draw a possible parallel to the Governor's $147,945. daily income to some of the Connecticut Taxpayers tax monies?  We will never know as that is forbidden to be seen nor investigated by Connecticut's largely obedient  and fawning  state run media.

What will you do with your tax cut for the year?  In the opinion of many not much, as it does little to offset the Democrat Party induced runaway inflation you must deal with on a daily basis.  Empty promises, a lack of transparency, a lack of accountability, a lack of ethics and daily incoherent economic gibberish is the "real"tax cut you get as a Connecticut Taxpayer governed by multi-millionaire politicians like Ned Lamont.  No more and much less.  Remember that $147,945 daily your Governor is making as you toil day-to-day being a honest Connecticut Taxpayer getting your $600 or less in tax cuts.  Connecticut's economic and governmental failures live on for another year , as it is 1776 all over again.

Connecticut's Constant and Continual Debt Crisis

Democrat Connecticut's euphoria of its recently passed $51.1 billion dollar "we cut taxes!" biennial budget is endemic of the 33 year political tango of fiscal denial where the state will certainly face fiscal Armageddon in the near future.  Contrary to the shouts of joy from Ned Lamont and his Connecticut Democrat Party, Connecticut has a massive spending and debt problem.  This economic downward spiral started with the advent of the Utopian state income tax in 1990-91 in the opinion of many. Debts continue to pile up for Connecticut to a point of no return.

How does a state as small as Connecticut and with as small a population of legal citizens as Connecticut, spend as much as it does?  Yearly,  the state spends a massive amount of money each year on state employee salaries, benefits and pensions for both its management and non management employees along with interest on its' debt.  It also has borrowed and bonded enormous sums of money.  Bonds get paid off and then are immediately renewed into new bonds.  It is fascinating to see that Connecticut will spend a mere $823.3 million dollars of Connecticut taxpayers monies in its new budget for "economic development". Much of this bulbous sum will be uselessly paid to a failed and non-transparent "quasi-public" entity oxymoronically known as the "Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development". Even with this massive amount of money that is spent for such "economic development", Connecticut continues to rank at the bottom or near the bottom in most business and economic categories in the country, and still can not pull itself out of the 2008 recession level of job formation, since so many businesses have closed and or moved out of state.

What is Connecticut's actual debt?  I can only estimate it since hard figures seem to be in short supply when analyzing this debt.   In this year's budget (https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/OPM/Budget/2024_2025_Biennial_Budget/Budget_WebPage/GovBudget_2024-25_Final-Web-Version.pdf-A18,19)  the summary of principal and interest that the state has outstanding through 2043 for bonding functions is a mere $24,174,979,627 billion dollars.  There is also outstanding principal and interest on this fiscal nut through 2043 for special tax obligations is $9,935,799,580 billion dollars.  It is difficult to find more figures from the state budget as to a "true" amount of how much actual short and long term debt along with unfunded liabilities exist.  Estimates may range from $100 to $150 billion dollars.  Here, the major problem is the actual amount of unfunded state pension debt.  How much is it?  Does anyone know? This was magically resolved by an economically irrational and fiscally illiterate Democrat Party plan to lower current payments and have future generations figure out how to pay for it.  State pension reform seems to be an issue that one is forbidden to discuss in the state legislature by either political party, as both parties are on record for cheering this faux "pension reform", neither willing to bite the bullet necessary to change this drastically bad course.

What is the plan (if any) to pay off this debt?  I have seen nothing mentioned about it over the years.  Connecticut spends a massive amount of money each year.  There would seem to be a great deal of wasted spending in the budget each year also since there is an excessive amount of debt in the state.  The state budget is also unexamined at any real length since the Connecticut Democrat Party introduces it with little time to even read the hundreds of pages of accounting information and check for accurate figures at the last minutes of the legislative session.  The marching orders are simple: Just vote on it and make sure the politically connected of Connecticut are rewarded and have their palms greased by grants, subsidies and other types of goodies funded by Connecticut Taxpayers with no oversight or accountability.  These are the same taxpayers who have absolutely no say whatsoever in where their hard earned monies go.   Taxpayer- be-damned seems to have been the common theme of the Democrat Party controlled State Legislature for years now.  It is truly taxation without representation and the identical reason as to why the Colonists threw the tea in the river in Boston some years ago.  It is 1776 all over again.
