Continue To Spend Taxpayer Money That Does Not Exist-The Connecticut Democrat Party Plan

I am exhausted.  As a taxpayer I am tired at the end of the week working my three jobs. On my weekends I still must work on the classes that I teach grading papers and answering student questions.  I work seven days a week.  I work so I can pay a never ending state burden since taxes are constantly being raised for those who work for a living in Connecticut.
Connecticut has also a never ending budget deficit that increases on a daily basis.  Yesterday on April 29th it is now $256 million dollars and rising.  The current Democrat Party budget proposal is just as economically illiterate as the last one, in one area the Democrats are adding money they think they will receive from future legal settlements.  Maybe in all of our personal budgets we should add money we can dream about receiving, spend it and not worry about it if the money does not come in.  We as citizens of Connecticut can adopt the Connecticut Democrat Party way of budgeting and never worry about the consequences of it.  I am exhausted reading about this economically irrational way of budgeting that I feel is illegal to actually present to the public.  Remember the ignored Balance Budget Amendment?
Thus we are now looking at a Connecticut Democrat Party two year budget deficit for Fiscal 2016-17, 2017-18 of about $5 billion dollars.  Depending on the way you look at Connecticut's long term funded and unfunded liabilities the range is $60 to $80 billion dollars.  It is nothing new.  However there really is nothing new coming out of Hartford and the Connecticut Democrat Party as far as spending and debt prevention is concerned.
It is time to take back Connecticut in 2016.  It can only be done by voting out of office the do-nothing Democrat State Representatives and Senators and start fresh with a Republican majority in both the State House and Senate.  The time has come to end this misuse and waste of hard earned taxpayers monies each year, year in and year out for the past thirty years.  Connecticut due to the Connecticut Democrat Party has bankrupted the state and its taxpayers.  These irrational economic policies that are force fed to Connecticut taxpayers will only end with a balance in state government ending too many years of Omnipotent One Party Rule in Hartford.
I am exhausted.
It is really time to take back Connecticut.

Connecticut Democrats Fiddle While Connecticut Burns

Another week another budget deficit.
Another week while Connecticut Democrats play the blame game and Connecticut burns.
Burns through more taxpayers monies it does not have.
Throws more people out on the street with real needs while protecting a bloated upper level management salary, benefits and pension system.
The Connecticut Democrats in Hartford remind me of being on an all inclusive cruise ship while it is sinking and they are still sitting at the bar demanding their free drinks.   Even if they sink they still want their freebies, the heck with staying alive.
And another week of finger pointing, layoffs, cuts to cities and towns, rumors of new and higher taxes, on and on and on.  Nothing new, nothing different.
The new economic reality that the Connecticut Democrat Party is facing in the November election will be chilling for them.  A new world awaits them when they campaign and when voters go to the voting booth.  Connecticut in the most simplistic terms is broke and bankrupt.  It has now a never ending monthly budget deficit and a massive amount of long term unfunded debt and liabilities.  It can no longer borrow its way through this mess.  It has come to the end of its road.
The only way Connecticut can reform itself is in November.  It has to vote out of majority the tired and economically illiterate Democrats that have failed to lead the state for years now.  They have lead taxpayers to misery and continue to force them to move out of state for years now.
The time has come for a change.  Let the Connecticut Democrat sink and go away this November.
Connecticut taxpayers deserve much better.

Malloy's New Budget-Same As the Old One-Tax Increases Now At the Local Level

More of the same.  That is the way the new Malloy Budget could be viewed as.  If you are a unionized Connecticut state employee you can view the budget as the end of your job and possibly your living in Connecticut any more.  The Democrat Governor made sure a great deal of pain would be felt for those most in need of state governmental services like disabled people and those employees who depend upon the state for employment.  Many Republican led cities and towns had a great deal of their allocated education funding monies completely taken away by Malloy in his new budget with those same cities and towns looking at massive property tax hikes. Thus the new budget still does not address any type of structural changes in the way Connecticut runs its salaries, benefits and pensions.  There was no addressing the multiple levels of non productive management found in our state government along with their bloated salaries, benefits and pensions.
Connecticut State Colleges and Universities President Mark E. Ojakian who earns over $332,000 a year plus benefits and an enormous pension (and apparently has never taught in his life) wants to have unpaid leaves as part of his solution to save money.  I have not heard either him or any of his highly paid coworkers state that they will be cutting their pay and benefits to help save money and avoid yet another tuition increase for state students.  I guess he can not deal with a pay cut in his political position nor can his coworkers.
More of the same.  Malloy states the same thing over and over.  He has lied again.  Taxpayers now will brace themselves for the new local tax increases compliments of the Connecticut Democrat Party.  Nothing changes in Hartford; it is all about the protection of a ruling elitist political class, spending for those politically connected and damned be the Connecticut Taxpayer who has been enslaved to pay for this economic mess.

Why It Is Time To Take Back Connecticut in 2016

It is time to take back Connecticut.
Enough is enough.
Taxpayers have had enough.
Enough of excessive spending for political patronage jobs.
Enough of the crony capitalism of free money given to politically connected business.
Enough of excessive life time benefits and pensions that can no longer be funded.
Enough of excessive and high taxes.
Enough of the discarding of essential services for those who are truly disabled and needy.
Enough of the overpaid and nonteaching Board of Regents.
Enough of the bloated management structure of state government.
Enough of the chronic budget deficits and unrealistic spending.
Enough of the unrelenting and unlimited long term unfunded liabilities of Connecticut.
Enough of the lies of the Connecticut Democrat Party.
It is time to take back Connecticut.
Enough is enough.
Taxpayers have had enough.
It is really time to vote Connecticut Democrats out of office in November.
They show no leadership nor management abilities.
They show no respect for Connecticut Taxpayers.
It is time to take back Connecticut.

Connecticut's Imploding State Government

Layoffs.
Every state union and non union job is at stake.  Every gold lined pension and benefit job is at stake. Unions are at stake.  Everything that Connecticut's political patronage system and state employee unions have worked for over the years that have been extracted out of Connecticut Taxpayers is at stake.
Do the remaining Connecticut Taxpayer's care?  For haven't we been down this road numerous times before at the beginnings of the utopian state income tax in 1991?  The same state income tax that was supposed to give the state financial security forever?  And didn't?
Depending upon your interpretation there are 45,000 full time state employees.  There are as of 2014 46,766 state pension retirees that costs the state in both short term and long term liabilities about $1.6 billion dollars  http://ctsunlight.org/pensions/
I do not have an accurate figure of how many part time state employees there are (my guess is at least 10,000 due to part time jobs in education). According to the Legislature’s Office of Fiscal Analysis 1,941 job cuts saves $132.8 million, 2,913 job cuts saves $198.8 million, and 3,879 jobs cuts saves $267.8 million.  However Connecticut has a $1 billion dollar deficit for fiscal 2016-17.  So what else can be cut without raising taxes? The more shocking figure is the actual costs of state pensions and benefits for 46,766 former employees.
Thus how can taxes not be raised?  Will the remaining Connecticut Taxpayers sympathize with the state employee unions who claim high-income taxpayers do not pay enough?  Or will actually notice how many have moved to lower taxed states like Florida, South Carolina and that evil bathroom segregated state of North Carolina?
Layoffs.
Connecticut's state government continues to implode.  The band-aid approach has failed.  Wasted economic resources and tax dollars continue to be seen on a daily basis in our state economy.
Rome did burn many years ago.  Connecticut burns daily to the point of no economic return.  And Dan Malloy is worried about North Carolina?  Dan Malloy should worry about Connecticut maybe once in his never-ending do nothing administration.
